How to Call a screen of a Z Program from an exit in a standard online program...???

Hi.
I create dialog modules via SE35 to Call a screen of a Z Program from an exit in a standard online program.
In the standard:
CALL DIALOG 'ZTEST2'
     EXPORTING
          act_new FROM 'X'.
But the screen is shown in "full screen".
<b>How to show screen with the definition of the position?</b>
Example:
...STARTING AT 2 2
   ENDING   AT 60 09.

Hi,
First set the values which needs to be passed using the following statement:
SET PARAMETER ID <pid> FIELD <f>.
then call your screen using the statement:
call screen 'SCREEN_NUMBER'.
if the screen is of a standard transaction then do set the required values through set parameter statement and then call the screen as
CALL TRANSACTION <tcod> [AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN] [USING <itab>].

Calling custom dialog screen from Standard Transaction(user Exit)

Hi, I'm calling Standard Transaction from a Custom Screen. I'm calling a custom screen again with in standard transaction (implemented custom screen thru user exits using macros). But when I click 'continue/cancel' in the custom screen, control is going back to main cutom screen rather go back to standard transaction. Could anyone please help me out how to come back to standard transaction from custom screen rather going back to main cutom screen.

Hi Rakesh,
If you wish to use ONLY the screen of another program, call transaction will not help you, because the called transaction will be fully executed (and not only the screen), and the acess to screen field wil be difficult.
When you wish to access the same screen from more than one program, you can create this screen in a function module and in this way you can call the function (to display the screen) in many programs.

I have a standard screen which is attached to a standard function group and a custom screen which is attached to a custom function group... Now my requirement is to get some field values from the Std screen to my custom screen ...
I have used the FM DYNP_VALUES_READ but its resuts in error...
in my current screen PBO i called this FM and given the prog name as the Std pgm name which being created while creating the screen from the function group and the screen number as the standard screen number...

    Try with the below FM
RS_REFRESH_FROM_SELECTOPTIONS
in your custorm program, check the SY-CPROG and SY-XPROG values, for the standard program name or directly pass the importing parameter for the above FM as SAPLFSBP_02.

Calling MB5B from a program to determine stock on hand as on date

Dear friends,
I want to call transaction MB5b from my report passing (matnr, plant and selection date-sy-datum ) values from internal table (11500 records) and fetch the quantity field that gets displayed after executing. How to do that. can anyone write the code for that. Because writing full program for determining stock-on-hand seems meaningless as we can get that value from MB5b. Can we trap that parameter in the standard program RM07mlbd and import that parameter to the program. Any suggestions.

Call workflow from ABAP program

created a zbusiness object (ZPRODH)with
one key field product hierarchy,
one attribute level number and
one method display.
I tested that zobject and using this object created workflow to display product hierarchy ,it is displaying it. now I have to call it from one abap program.
In the abap program I am calling the funcion module, I
CALL FUNCTION 'SWW_WI_START_SIMPLE'

WI_CONTAINER = WI_CONTAINER.
It is calling the workflow and subrc is 0, but not passing the value to the workflow. Because of that the method is not working, any idea?

Hi, can implicit enhancement be added to selection screen? When I tried to add a parameter after first selection-screen block or inside the block, always get error message during activation. The standard program i try to enhance is report LSO_RHXBUCH0 (Bookings per Participant). I am sure there is no syntax error on the codes I wrote. The error message is "Between "DATA BEGIN OF' name" and "DATA END OF name" only data statements are allowed.

How to call 'WordPad' from java program........

The following code will open 'Notepad'

1)Either to fix a link(say from a button) on my custom screen for material creation,to call mm01 basic data screen for image upload.

I also think the same that it's not possible. Now my issue is how to get my requirement.
FYI..
To open Classification screen directly we have a function module CLFM_OBJECT_CLASSIFICATION. But if I want to open IA06
Inspection characterstics screen we don't have any FM or API to do the same.
So how will I get my requirement done. That why I use the BDC call transaction to open IA06 Insp. characterstics screen but here I am facing this Back issue.
Please advice if there is any suggestion.
