Call transaction & leave the current screen

Hi
I have created two Table maintanence Generator one for master table & second for transaction table. In my master table i have written code for calling the second TMG
ie, call transaction 'zhdms'.
but my problem is from my first TMG when im clicking on one button it calling the second TMG. & im making new entries over der & when i click on BACK button it will call the first TMG & again if i am clicking on Next button it will move on to second screen. but it is showing one information like DEveloper is locked. we can only display it. how to avoid this.
Can we avoid this using leave screen . How to write code for that.

CALL TRANSACTION AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
Effect
Skips the first screen in the transaction (provided all the required fields have been assigned values by the SPA/GPA mechanism).
or
LEAVE TO { {TRANSACTION tcod} | {CURRENT TRANSACTION} } AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
Effect
Ends current processing and starts the (new) transaction tcod. All previous internal sessions are deleted from the stack and one new internal session is opened for the program of the transaction that was called. When this session has finished, the system returns to the next higher area menu.
If you specify CURRENT TRANSACTION (as of Release 6.20), the current transaction is called with exactly the same transaction code it was called with using CALL TRANSACTION or LEAVE TO TRANSACTION. With the exception of parameter or variant transactions, this is the transaction code that is also in the system field sy-tcode.. In the case of parameter or variant transactions, it is their transaction code, while sy-tcode contains the name of the implicitly-called dialog transaction.

CALL TRANSACTION AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN to specified tab in TCODE 'IW32'

Hi,
I am using CALL TRANSACTION AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN in ALV Grid Report to call IW32 tcode and it goes to tcode skipping the first screen. But it goes to the default header tab in the tab control. Whereas I wish to go to the specified tab 'OPERATIONS'.
Can any one help me, as to how to resolve this issue ?

I have the similar requirement. but in my case its COSTS tab. Could you please provide the code you have used for this to work?
I used standard "call transaction with mode 'E' ". This seems to be working but I am not pleased by my effort. Is there any proper way that you might have followed ?

Web Dynpro ABAP call transaction in the foreground

In Screen Painter/SAP ALV, we can create a screen where for example if you double click on a sales order field it can take you a VA03 transaction by :
call transaction VA03 ... and skip first screen.
I am creating Web Dynpro ABAP application that needs to do the same thing where if we click on the field, it will take to VA03 transaction or other transactions.
Has anyone done this in Web Dynpro ABAP? I have done some research and determine that we cannot call transaction in the foreground? I hope I am wrong. Any help/insights will be greatly appreciated.

WDA is generic client to Netweaver connection based on HTTP/S.
At this stage on a few clients are supported. WEB dynpro client and Browsers...
SAPGUI connects to SAP using a different protocol.
No SAPGUI connection is implied by a WDA client connection.
Therefore abap statements that invoke screens and otherwise assume SAPGUI
is connected are not supported in WDA.   eg call screen, call transaction
You can either
                     a) build your own WDC to front end calls to BAPIs to get the Sales order data.
                    b) open/ exit to the new WDC for Sales Orders in ERP2005
                          see LORD_MAINTAIN_COMP
                       c) exit to the INTERNAL ITS URL for transaction VA03
                           eg http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~Transaction=VA03
                          but getting the skip first screen may require you to call custom tran ZVA03
                           which calls VA03 to skip first screen setting the PID appropriately.
Hopefully you opt for option a) or b).
c) can work... I have used it from BSPs but it not pretty.

Does the customer want a screen shot or what? Please elaborate on your requirement.
Maybe you should create a smartform first, which is called when one clicks on print button. But in fact, we need a bit more info than this.

Unfortunately, the white screen will not go away! Therefore, I do not have the option to the Disk Utility!! I wish I could! I would have already erased the disk and reinstalled the OS. Side note here is that an Apple Fan told me that she and her husband had a similar scenario with a new iMac!! Turned out (after 3 attempts by Apple Techs to fix) to have to replace it! They related to me that there was an issue with the connections between the Logic Board and the Hard Drive! The hard drive got burnt out and so did the Logic board on different occasions. I have been a PC user for years until I got tired of all the maintenance and wanted to try Mac. So many thrilled fans claiming they never get issues as often as a PC. Well, here I am six weeks after buying the Mac Mini having issues...I guess a machine is a machine, is a machine! I was thrilled with the Lion OS and all the interaction I was having with it! I truly thought that this was a highly superior computer. I expected quality control to have equally a superiority that one would expect from an Apple product. It could be that this unit is a lemon! It happens! Because I also have iPad and iPhone that have given me the best performance ever!! So I hope that I will someday see the same from this Mac Mini that is just over 40 days old!
If you know another way to get thru the white screen to get to the Disk Utility...I would love to try it. In any case, I am waiting for a call back to confirm an appointment date and time to visit a Mac store for repair.

It is really annoying as sometimes the phone doesn't respond to attempts to end the call before it connects to the number. I don't want to stop missed call from showing in the locked screen but it might be associated with the failed calls and therefore be the only resolution

I have had the same issue which was driving me mad but think I have just found a way around it. In iOS 7 if you swipe up on the lock screen to access quick settings and go into timer then click the home button you get into the phone without calling the person back. Not a great 'fix' but hope it works for you. Come on Apple this isn't good enough, fix this bug otherwise you will lose your customers.

After target display mode, iPhoto reports an error, "The current screen resolution is not optimal for iPhoto."

I have the 27-inch (late 2009) iMac with mini-Display port input. Whenever I return from Target Display Mode, I get the attached error message and iPhoto becomes unresponsive (the window is still active, but clicking on it produces the error/warning system sound), I have to Force Quit it. The current screen resolution is not optimal for iPhoto (sometimes the error message is a little off the screen in the lower left and only the top of the window can be seen. This also seems to affect iTunes at the same time (by resizing the window to be super small), but without the error message or unresponsiveness.
Has anyone else gotten this problem, and or might know of a fix?

Yes, I have the same problem. I have checked the resolution in Sysyem Preferences - display and it is properly set to the highest resolution (which is recommended). I have no idea why this is ocurring but it is annoying.

I see.
Just my two cents on this:
- you enable auditing, when there is a requirement for it (business/legal wise), so it isn't really about the technical overhead
- and of course there is overhead. It's just the question whether or not your users will see a increased response time because of that.

Check V$SYSSTAT and V$SYSMETRIC on Oracle level.
These should contain the information you like to see.
(btw: in my first reply I referred to how easy it is to create these statistic information on DB kernel level )

Settings you make in ACR for a Raw file are written to the separate XMP side car file. (The Camera Raw preferences has this set by default and to my opinion it should stay so, but the other option is to save them in a central database)
However, opening the same file in ACR and make new adjustments the previous settings are overwritten by the new ones. You can save them separately but that would be a hell of a job. If you want to be on the safe side you should make a proper back up of the whole folder (be sure to have the XMP files included, by default those are hidden files in Bridge) before someone else starts playing with the settings. However, you can always go back to the default version using the option in the little menu icon next to the name op f the panel (first panel is Basic). click on the icon and from the provided menu choose 'Reset Camera Raw Defaults' to go back to the originals.
I don't use jpeg in ACR very often but I believe ACR settings for jpeg and tiff are written in the XMP data in the file itself instead of a separate XMP file. You can revert to default or make new settings that also overwrite the older settings.
Making adjustments in ACR shows the results in Bridge (it uses the XMP data for the preview) but to make it visible in other apps you also have to save them in Photoshop itself to make the changes persistent so that mail and print reflect your settings.
So basically, let her play with the files and either chose the option to save the files (bottom left in ACR Window and choose the wanted provided options or open and save them in Photoshop to get the proper result. And if you want to be on the safe side let here use her own copies and keep the originals to your self.

Opening the current screen of a application from portal in a new window

We are using EP 7.0 with ECC 7. A Iview is created in portal for a ABAP webdynpro application and attached to a role and that role is attached to a user.
When the user invokes the Iview in portal the ABAP webdynpro application is opened, when a button is clicked in this first screen another screen is shown. From the second screen using portal functionality to open the contents of the screen I tried to open the second screen in new window by using the short cut "Open in new window", but this option opens the first screen instead of the current screen.
Is it a standard behaviour or some issue with this.
Is there anyother option to print the ABAP webdynpro application from portal

When loading video or tv shows it is taking as long as 14 hours plus - if I leave the loading screen it doesn't continue to load? So you have to wait without leaving the screen for 14 hours?

So, my first rental - I downloaded it overnight - then we go to watch it tonight and it proceeds to start loading again...saying it will be ready in 14 hours and 21 minutes!!! Am I doing something wrong here? If anyone has advice - I would greatly appreciate it. This is the first apple product that I am disappointed with
