Calling a WDA on a field's F4 help.. pls reply

Hi friends,
I have a WDA1, with a table of item list. coloumns -- item no: product no: status:
I need to give a F4 input help for product no: .. it should call a other WDA2(this is for product search. I already did this).
so once product F4 button is hit, it shoudl call my WDA2 as a popup.... and there the product search list table, if i click one record and hit chooose button.. that product selected in WDA2, should
transfer to my WDA1's product no coloumn?
how to call a wda on F4 input help? how to pass values back to my field...?
also before the product comes to my WDA1, i need some validations to figure out the status(coloumn 3)...?

Get yourself familiar with the concept of "Freely Programmed Value Help".

And then take a look to the demo value help component that you can find in the system. I cannot now remember the name of this demo component, but you should find it by looking components using component interface IWD_VALUE_HELP (or searching components in SE80 with "WDvaluehelp" or something like that). You should get the idea quite easilly with this demo component provided by SAP.

Yes, thats the problem.
Your include is named ZFLDEXIT_INCL and in the first line of that include you probbaly wrote
include ZFLDEXIT_INCL.
Delete that, includes don't need a reserved word like programs and reports

Substitution call up point 3 - add fields

HI Experts
I have a requirement that SAP should propose BKPF-XBLNR filed automatically when user clicks on save. I am planning to use substitution call u point 3 to get this requirement done. I have done the configuration but then I came to that for call up point 3 this field is not avilable for substituion. Is there a way to add this field to to the substituion field list . (this field is available for call up point 2)

Hi, it's not unusual that you donu2019t have all the information in a substitution u2013 at the time of the call-up point!
By that I mean you could have the information of the screen of the posting u2013 but itu2019s not passed on as information to be used in substitutions u2026
If that is the case do you have to write a few ABAP lines in order to read the content of the screen and pass in on in to the substitution.

similarly if you make your used component context and methods are interface.so that they will be available in your current component.

Calling a WDA screen from SC

Gurus,
I need to provide a pop up to the user when the buyer adds certain part numbers to his shopping cart. In that pop up the buyer would be entering some information related to that part and that information needs to go in as item text.
I have a WDA screen to call and really struck not knowing how and where to call this WDA screen. Any help in this direction would be appreciated.

I had similar requirement and implement it with DOC_CHECK_BADI and vendor text.
The requirement was if item is for specific category, requester should add some information in vendor text.

How to replace a field's search help of DDIC in FPM feeder class?

I want to replace a field's search help in DDIC structure, for an example, in structure HCMT_BSP_PA_XX_R0009, the field BANKL(Bank Keys) has a search help named 'H_BANKL', I want to replace this search help with other one such as 'H_BANKEY' in the FPM feeder class CL_HRESS_PER_DETAIL, I redefined such method:
method if_fpm_guibb_form~get_definition.
field-symbols: <fs_field_description> like line of et_field_description.
call method super->if_fpm_guibb_form~get_definition

I test it and found the search help window was replaced indeed, but all the value of import/export parameters in the new search help was lost, it means, the value of import paramer BANKS(Bank country) and the export parameter BANKA(bank name) were lost. Only the value of BANKL itself can be returned by the new search help window. Can you give me some suggestions about how to maintain the link( value exchange) between structure HCMT_BSP_PA_XX_R0009 and dynamically defined search help 'H_BANKEY' in FPM feeder class?
I tried to use sap memory ID but it doesn't works well.

That is because for the import and export of DDIC Search help values to work in WDA, not in FPM layer.Feeder Class can do nothing about it.

For the last section, we will deal with linking F4 help to fields. It is easy. As usual, define, implement and register the event onf4 at proper places in your code. For F4 help, you must register the fields whose F4 request will trigger the onf4 event. For this you must prepare a table of type LVC_T_F4 and register this table using the method register_f4_for_fields. While preparing table you must include a line for each field which will trigger F4 event. For each field in the structure;

Secondly,not getting getter and setter methods for the attrributes in BTAdminI.
Last,please tell me if i create zhelp and activate it,would it automatically appear in the list on AETwhile assiging it to input field?

Disable fields in search help restriction window

Hi Experts,
Here is the situation:
I have created the new search help for material number and assigned this search help in my module pool program.
As soon as user press F4 button on material number , it will display search help restrictions window with 4 fields ( material, material type, plant, plant status).
I have set default value for the material type in search help itself. But I would like to disable this field.
I mean .... user should not enter any other values other than my default value. So I should disable the material type field in searh help restrictions window.
Pls help me.

In the FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST, pass exporting parameter callback_form = 'SUB_CALL_BACK'.
Define the sub routine with the SUB_CALL_BACK with below logic
        FORM SUB_CALL_BACK TABLES record_tab STRUCTURE seahlpres
                                               CHANGING shlp      TYPE           shlp_descr
                                                                 callcontrol TYPE DDSHF4CTRL.
               callcontrol-MULTISEL = 'X'.

Pass the field catalog with the additional parameter (ls_fcat-edit = 'X'.).
for F4 help if the data element have the search help it automatically will come. other wise include the additional parameter in the field catalog (ls_fcat-F4AVAILABL = 'X')

1. Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.

4. Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.

well the reason I wanted to talk to someone live because it would take forever to explain everything on here But anyway, here goes. I have an HP Pavilion Notebook with Intel Core i5-323om CPU @2.60 GHz and 8 gb ram 64bit. I am trying to run Lightroom 5.7 on my laptop and having major issues. I use an external hard drive for the storage of my photos. When I try to use Lightroom I run into many issues: Flickering of the screen, freezing up, slow, the loading circle just goes round and round lol. If I go to the washroom or leave the computer for even a minute it freezes up. I have to keep pressing Ctr/alt/delete to bring it back when it flickers. I have to constantly exit out of the program and restart it to be able to edit even just a couple of photos and then it starts acting up again.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing, updating everything on my pc, changing compatibility settings, updating development settings, I even took the laptop into have it looked at and they did all kinds of updates etc...and still couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for me. I have gone through the lists of troubleshooting for LR problems and there just seem to be nothing that works.....I have made new catalogues, moved them, tried using the software on my pc without the EHD, etc etc.......I have tried EVERYTHING...I think.....so I was looking for some answers as to why this is happening....
