Camera wont capture when Tethering Canon T5i in Lightroom 4.4. Tried with and without card.
I just unboxed a Canon T5i (700D). I've been shooting with a T2i for the past three years tethered to LR4 with no problem. Now with the T5i, i connect the camera, set up a new tether session and LR detects the camera in the pop up bar, but the sections for Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO are blank. The capture button is able to be clicked, but the camera does not respond. When the shutter on the camera is pressed, also no response. I have tried this with and without the SD card. I have used three usb cable and two different computers. I have checked for updates and my firmware is current. The camera is set to manual mode in the on position NOT the video position and I am tethering to a Windows 7 computer. Please help!
You will need LR5 for that camera to be supported for direct tethered capture. Or you can use the LR "Watched Folder" feature and use the EOS Utility or other tethering software packages. Here is a list of some options - http://www.tethertools.com/plugging-in/software/

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to tethering and such, but I thought I would give it a go. The problem I seem to be having is that the camera is flashing "Busy" on the display and wont let me take any photos. I am trying to tether my Canon Rebel XT to Aperture 3.1 on my Mac Pro running 10.6.4. The firmware version on the camera seems to be 1.0.2 (although I have no idea how to update that should that be the issue).

PhilChange your communication settings within the camera to normal (not PTP). To access the settings from the camera itself, select Menu and then tab along until you see communications, then select normal from the options.

My iphoto on my MacBook Pro will not let me import my photos from my canon t3i. It is blurred over both import all, and import selected showing that I cant choose those options. I've tried with the memory card and usb cord. Please help!

When I Click on "Import", Lightroom 5.5 stops working and requires reboot; Help. Import feature was working yesterday when I first installed Lightroom v5.5.
Go to the bibliothec module, select the folder, right click on the folder and hit synchronize

When I go to open lightroom a message pops up and says "lightroom encountered an error when reading from it's preview cache and needs to quit" I have already restarted my computer, that didn't do anything. I then uninstalled and then reinstalled and still getting the same response.
Open the folder containing your Lightroom catalog. Locate a folder with the extension .lrdata and delete that folder. Do not delete anything else. Then restart Lightroom. It will start building a new previews folder.

When I am abroad (living in Norway) the phone only temporarily (and seldom) connects to a network. Most of the time is says "no service" in top left corner...From advice I have tried to turn it on/off...with and without sim installed...roaming makes no diff. Can anyone help me?

If she has full reception and connection with the same cell phone carrier where you don't - with you both using a SIM card provided by the same carrier while in Norway with an unlocked iPhone, then make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby to have a diagnostic test run on your iPhone.
In the interim, I would contact this cell phone carrier in Norway to ensure your iPhone is provisioned properly. They can run a reset for your account that will require powering your iPhone off, so call them with your wife's iPhone for this. -

What kind of card is it ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? Tables used when creating a sales return with and without refrence

I am developing a report to display sales order and sales return created from one partiular storage location and for one particular division. I need to get the tables used when creating the sales order and the sales return's.
For sale order I would be using VBAK and VBAP but for sale return with refrence and without refrence i am not sure which tables to look for.

Camera not found when connect Canon Rebel T3
When i attempt to contact my Cannon Rebel T3 to my computer it states no camera found, cannont be used with this version of the operating system. Not a computer or camera guru and have no idea what to do. I have checked for updated software but my computer states it is up to date. Any help would be appreciated!!

I am having trouble getting my macbook to connect to my tv. When I connect my mac to the tv via VGA I have no problem. It detects it right away. I just purchased a HDMI cable because I didn't want to have to use speakers when connect to my TV and it will not detect the computer. The HDMI is a good cable because it connects our apple tv to the tv, so I know it works.
When I connect the HDMI cable to the tv and my computer, the screen on my tv flickers once and it seems like it is connected. It then flickers one more time about 5 seconds after like it disconnects.
When I use my VGA it gives me an arrangement tab in the displays, I do not get that when I plug my HDMI in. I get nothing. Is there something else I could do?Never mind, I solved it. Didn't know the converter needed a power source to operate (duh!) Now I have that, it works just fine.......
