Campaign - Need to provide 2 different View Configurations for same Role

Hello,
I need to provide for the same role config key 2 different view configurations for campaigns. Initially I wanted to do that with transaction types, but then I found out that there are no transaction types for campaigns.
Does anyone know a way to do that? I don'T want to use a BADI for it, best would be a standard way.
Thanks!

You use Object Types to distinguish between views of same RoleConfigKey. In SPRO 'UI Framework Definition', you create object types and they would be available when you create a view config. Just select the object type as it forms part of the 'key' that idenitifies that particular view. In DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION method of that view, you call a config based on this Object Type. So same view can produce two or more configs for same user in different scenarios.

  • Quality info records: different pack configurations for same raw material

how can i differentiate different pack configuration for same raw material in quality info records, as one might approved and the other not? that is, besides creating different material master for each packaging?
    thanks
    Alisa

You need to use the MPN profile functionality that is a standard part of SAP.
In Config under the purchasing define the MPN profile.  There are several options you can turn on/off including info records.
You assign the MPN profile to your material. It now is considered by SAP to be an internal material number.
You then create a HERS material type for each separate manufacturer material number you have.  You only need the purchasing view for these materials.  You can also create purchasing text views, classification and some others if you wish.
In the SAP approved vendors list (AVL), you then assign each manufacturer vendor(s) with the HERS material created.
You create a Q-info record for each manufacturer/HERS material combination.
Now, when you specify the internal material number in a PO, the system will tell you to order the MPN material.  When you do the drop down for the material now, it will show you the approved manufacturers allowed in the AVL for the ordering plant.
When the 01 inspection lot is created you will have a vendor number as well as a manufacturer's number in the inspection lot.  The DMR can be done by the manufacturer or the vendor depending on how you set up the inspection plan. Q-info record will be used accordingly.
Take a look at it and research it.  It's not hard to set up.

  • Can we have different output types for same document?

    Hi,
Can we have different output types for same doucument.if yes plz describe the steps to perform it
    Thanks

    Hi,
Generally you can use same out put type for the different document types of PO. You can create different out put types for the same PO, in case you need different layouts that is different forms like MEDRUCK. Please refer below link to create out types . If you want that PO as fax or e-mail can use same out put type .Thanking you.

    Hi Preeti,
please first understand the difference between a subject (your header) and its body line, please never write so long subject matter.
Now coming to your queries , what you thinks being at Australia or US is free of Cost. The first thing is that i don't understand your mission for taking Certifications, Are you a working proffesional because for more than 2 yrs. of working experience, you don't need any training , you can take direct examinations.
And if you are not a working professional, i don't thing taking any certification will serve any purpose in your job hunt, although it will enrich your Resume only, you will nothing get out of this from just taking a vertification
So, please tell us that you are a fresher or having real time working exposure in SAP SD module, then any one will guide you well.

  • Different view of the same query between users

    Hi at all,
I strongly hope you can help me.
The problem that i have is that:
I have a different view of a query inserted in a workbook respect the view of the same query that have other users.
In particular I watch in my query 4 fixed characteristic of the query ( Cost center, order type , controlling area, fiscal variant ), below the free characteristic block  and before data table.
Instead other user watch only 3 fixed characteristics ( Cost center, order type , controlling area ).
This is a problem because in the workbook there is a macro that reads the data from a fixed raw. So that this macro doesn't' t work in my workbook.
I would specify that the workbooks is called from rules and not from fevorites.
Thank you very much for your attention!
    Bye
    Fabio

    Hi Erwan,

let me to change the values of input variables.
The new layout query, after the input of the new values, has the same rows of the fixed query value ( fyscal variant too).
    Thank you for your answer..

  • Navto a different view in the same page

Is it possible to use the navto command to jump to a different view in a page or poiting to a position in a scrollable frame?

Yes, use decimals in your navto page number. For example, navto://myarticle#2.3 jumps to a place between page 3 and 4 in a smooth scrolling article.
For examples, see DPS Tips > Advanced Overlays > Scrollable Frame Links.

  • Trusted RFC not working for different user , working for same user

    Dear All,
I have two SAP system - One Solman (7.0) and another ECC 6.0 (SR3) on HPUX box with Oracle DB (Unicode).
I want to establish Trust relationship between these system.
I have configured the same, as per the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8b/0010519daef443ab06d38d7ade26f4/content.htm
    and note 128447.
My requirement is one user X in solman client 001,
will execute some test plan (Tcode stwb_2) which will take the control to ECC 6.0 client 200, execute the tcode as user Y and come back in Solman again.
    The user X (SAP_ALL) exists in Solman - client 001 and user Y (SAP_ALL) exists in ECC 6.0 - client 200.
In ECC 6.0 client 200, I have created a role ZRFCACL with the following and assigned to the user Y (as per the above help / note):
    Role : ZRFCACL
    Auth. Obj: S_RFCACL
    Value assigned to fields are:
         RFC_SYSID : SOL
         RFC_CLIENT: 001
         RFC_USER  : X
         RFC_EQUSER: N
         RFC_TCODE : *
         RFC_INFO  : *
         ACTVT     : 16
Whenever the user  X is trying to execute the test from solman, he is getting the error : "No authorization to log on as trusted system (RC = 0)"
Each time the user is trying the above, in ECC 6.0, the following dump is occuring:
    CALL_FUNCTION_SINGLE_LOGIN_REJ under username SAPSYS
I have assigned the role ZRFCACL to user X in Solman also.
Next, I have performed the following check:
created one user M in both system
created the role ZRFCACL2 in ECC 6.0 client 200 as follows and assigned the role to user M:
         Role : ZRFCACL2
         Auth. Obj: S_RFCACL
         Value assigned to fields are:
              RFC_SYSID : SOL
              RFC_CLIENT: 001
              RFC_USER  : ''
              RFC_EQUSER: Y
              RFC_TCODE : *
              RFC_INFO  : *
              ACTVT     : 16
Assigned SAP_ALL to user M in both system (So the user M in Solman does not have ZRFCACL2).
This time, the trust relationship worked and no dump got generated.
I have also checked the thread Trusted RFC do not work
but unable to resolve the issue.
Any suggestion where the things are going wrong in this / what else I need to check or this is not possible at all?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Sudip

  • Need help in setting up Group Policy for same user in local system and Terminal server

    Hi All,
Currently our remote users are using our network using VPN client over internet.
They are generally at their home computer and doing VPN as they have to work only in one RDP server for application.
We actually have a OU created for these RDP users and assign then some strict policy like they can not use any other .exe, they can not user any explorer ,they can not even use windows explorer when they are on RDP they just use one exe of their application.
Now what my management want is they want their home computers in Domain and want them to login via their same credentials they are using for RDP but they don't want them to restrict in their home computers with any strict policy.
Now my confusion is how can I configure different policies for same users or same OU.
Can any one guide me please...

you can achieve this fairly easily with group policy.
create an OU and put your remote desktop servers in that OU.
configure both user and computer policies in a group policy and link it to that ou.
you need to enable loopback mode - you may want it in merge or replace depending on your other policies you have. Probably replace though I would guess. this is set in the computer configuration > admin templates > system / group policy section.
now remove the policy you have currently setup for your users on the users OU containing the rdp users. If you want you can move these users back to your main users OU.
when your users login to the RDP server the settings in the user section of the GPO linked to the RDP Servers OU will apply.
when the user logs in to their own computer the policies from the user OU and computer OU will apply - but not the more restrictive RDP OU.
    hope that makes sense.

  • Different logon pages for same server.

    hi Expert,
I have created two different logon pages with different URL's for the same server, now i can use both the pages to logon in to the system.
what i need to do now is :-
    URL "A"  users set ="A"
    URL "B"  users set ="B"
If we have the above two different URL and respective users for those URLs.
Now if i am User from the User set "A"  and try to Login by using URL "B".
I am able to login, but i want to restrict.
    ie.
users from set ="A" login only by the link URL "A"
users from set ="B" login only by the link URL "B"
Points would be given to helpful answers.
    Regards,
    Sanjyoti.

    Hi Sanjyoti,
I am not sure if this would work, but if time permits then do try this.
    User A -- URL A
    User B -- URL B
Now make User A a part of Group A, and set conditions in code that Group A can logon only through URL A and User B can logon through URL B.
Then in code check the association user - group and group - url and accordingly allow / disallow the user to go ahead.
This is just a thought.....do tell me if this works.....or if it doesnt then do post the solution you use....
    Thanks,
    GLM

  • Different query plans for same query on same DB

    Hi,
    HP-Ux
    Oracle Database 10.2.0.4
We are experiencing a strange issue. One of our night batch process is taking invariably more time to execute. The process does not consume time at 1 particular query. Everyday we find a new query taking more time than previous execution.
Now, when we see the explain plan while the query is executing, we see NESTED LOOP SEMI (with improper index being used). At the same time if we take the query and see the explain plan seperately, we get HASH JOIN SEMI (with proper index being used). Also, if we execute this query with the values as in procedure, it finishes within mili seconds (as it should).
The tables and indexes are analyzed everyday before the process starts.
Can anybody explain, why the same query shows two different plans at the same time ?
Thanks a lot in advance :)

Can anybody explain, why the same query shows two different plans at the same time ?As already mentioned, you might hit typical issues in 10.2: The column workload based SIZE AUTO statistics gathering feature and/or bind variable peeking.
How do you analyze the tables and indexes before the process starts? Can you share the exact call with parameters?
    Some ideas:
    1. If your process is "new", then the column workload monitoring of the database might recognize the column usage pattern and generate histograms on some of your columns. It might take a while until the workload has been established so that all columns got histograms according to the workload (It needs a certain number of usages/executions before the workload is registered as relevant). Until then you might get different execution plans each time the statistics are refreshed due to new histograms being added.
    2. If the default 10g statistics gathering job is active, it might gather different statistics during the night than your individual job that runs prior to the processing. This could be one possible explanation why you get different plans on the next day.
    3. "Bind Variable Peeking" is possibly another issue you might run into. How do you test the query so that you get a different, well performing plan? Does your original statement use bind variables? Do you use literals to reproduce? Note that using EXPLAIN PLAN on statements involving bind variables can lie, since it doesn't perform bind variable peeking by default.

I am really surprise that the stat for good sql are little old. I just computed the states of bad sql so they are uptodate..
There is something terribly wrong..Not necessarily. Just using the default stats collection I've seen a few cases of things suddenly going wrong. As the data increases, it gets closer to an edge case where the inadequacy of the statistics convinces the optimizer to do a wrong plan. To fix, I could just go into dbconsole, set the stats back to a time when they worked, and locked them. In most cases it's definitely better to figure out what is really going on, though, to give the optimizer better information to work with. Aside from the value of learning how to do it, for some cases it's not so simple. Also, many think the default settings of the database statistic collection may be wrong in general (in 10.2.x, at least). So much depends on your application and data that you can't make too many generalizations. You have to look at the evidence and figure it out. There is still a steep learning curve for the tools to look at the evidence. People are here to help with that.
Most of the time it works better than a dumb rule based optimizer, but at the cost of a few situations where people are smarter than computers. It's taken a lot of years to get to this point.

  • GATP/ATP Check for Different Order Types for same material

    Hi :
I have a material code X for which 2 different type of Sales Order (Say A and B )needs to be created.
For Sales Order Type A the atp check needs to be done in APO through GATP for material code X.
For Sales Order Type B the atp check needs to be done in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 through availabilty check functionality for same material code X.
It is not possible to create seperate material codes to carry out atp/gatp check seperately in R/3 and in APO.
In real time the atp and cumulative atp position should be same in R/3 and in APO.
Please let me know solution for this issue.

    Hi Ashish,
Can you share with us as to how you were able to solve this issue. I have a similar issue like yours and I am totally clueless as to what needs to be done..
    My scenario goes this way:
I have to modify the Schedule line dates for a GATP material according to a newly created date which I calculate based on the Route Schedule id (VL51, VL52) and display the same in the Sales Order schedule line items.
Also can I get a new set of schedule line dates from the APO system for a date which I calculate based on the Goods Issue date - VALW-AULWE in any exit using a FM or a BAPI?? so that I can get these dates and populate the same in the Sales Order Schedule line??
    Thanks in advance,
    Susanth
