Can anyone help me sync my iPad to the mp3 CDs that I loaded to my computer? The only thing that happens when I plug my iPad to my computer is a message in the upper right corner that says "nnot charging".
I am having a problem getting my iPad to sync to my iTunes account on my computer. Any suggestions?
you will need to open up itunes and then select your iPad to pull up your iPad summary, at the top you will see the different catergories for syncing content to your iPad just check the box for what you want to sync to your iPad then hit apply or sync. I'm running 10.8.2 on a Macbook Pro. I have a 3GS iPhone running 6.0.1. I can make entries on my Mac Calendar and they will show up on my iPhone, but if I make an entry on my iPhone, it never makes it to my Mac. Also, I notice that when I log in to my iCloud account on my Mac, it has a "me.com" email address as my apple i.d., but it is not my primary account i.d. and I can't figure out how to delete it. Also, my Reminders application won't allow me to delete lists I created. Contacts, on the other hand, work instantaneously regardless of where the change is initiated.On you iPhone check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the calendars section). Here be sure you have selected the Calendar listed under your iCloud account ID as your default. If you haven't, make this change, then enter a new event on your phone and see if it syncs properly now.
You should be able to delete you reminders list by, from the Lists view, tapping Edit at the top, then tapping next to the list you want to delete and tapping Delete. -

If it is an Apple cable it should have come in a white Apple box with an Apple label. If it didn't it is not an Apple cable. You can buy Apple cables at any Apple store or Apple's online store. There are also high quality cables from some of Apple's business partners such as Griffin.
For a 3GS most cables should work, Apple or not. This is not true for the iPhone 5 and later. So the problem may not be the cable; inspect the connector on the bottom of the phone; if it is full of lint, dirt or moisture try cleaning it. Also look for bent pins. -
My photos don't rotate anymore when I flip my phone and I notice a new icon in the upper right corner that looks like a lock with a 3/4 circle going around it.

Help! My Internet service was interupted last week and when it returned my iTunes and wireless devices no longer show up in upper right corner of the iTunes window. I finally figured out how to get both of my wireless devices to show up on the left hand column under devices, but nothing else shows up now in the upper right corner! I cannot for the life of me figure this one out and the tech manual is not helping at all. Help!
If you have the left-hand sidebar showing then that is where the store and your devices will show can be selected - if you press option-command-S if you are using a Mac, control-S on a PC, then the sidebar should be hidden and the store and device should go back to the top right. Is that what you mean ?

I have had a 3GS for 2+ years. After upgrading to IOS 4 (now 4.3.5) I began having problems. In the past week, my screen went to the itunes logo and USB cable twice -- unprovoked -- just found it sitting there like that! I connected to itunes and it did restore from a backup but it is a major inconvenience. I am also searching for answers, but better back-up regularly!

I have just upgraded to Snow Leopard and at the end of the upgrade the printer drivers failed to load. I have since updated them myself (Epson BX305) but still get an eror message 'rasteroescpll failed'. can anyone help?

Delete you printer.
Delete the folder /Library/Prnters/EPSON
Delete the folder /Library/Caches/Epson
Unplug your printer from your computer for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. You should be prompted to download the new drivers.

If your music was purchased within iTunes, then you should be able to get your purchases restored. If it was music you imported, then you must re-import the CD's. So sorry that you lost it all. Most people never back up their data.... even when they talk the talk but never walk the walk. 3 copies, and rotate them. son, father, and grandfather (Old school stuff but if you have a bad disc, the other saves may be your rescue!)

Try re-adding your printer in System Preferences/Print & Fax. Not sure what type of printer you have, but if it was old and relying on an Appletalk connection, Snow Leopard dropped that support.

Mines been doing it for at least 6 months.Support had me do a reset and when that didnt work,they convinced me to update to version 11.That was a waste of time... Even if I open the App Store with nothing but basic utilitys loaded on my iPad,the App Store closes/crashes for no "Obvious" reason.However internal diagnostics show the cause is that the App Store is overloading the iPads processor.I have tons of memory on my iPad (64GB) but apparently the newer versions of the iTunes App Store are overloading it, (Even in a stripped down state).
Solution? I have never gotten any helpfull answers from support in nearly 6 months.So, other than reverting to an even earler version of iTunes (Pre version 10.7 at least for me),or using something like the "Apple Sliced "App... Most of them are free,and have a few good features, but all that I've tried are are less usefull for doing App searches.
It was a real shock to me ,when support claimed it had never heard about this issue before.These forums would indicate differently.It seems really stupid to design a basic utility, that a fair number of customers wont be able to use, and recieve no warning before encouraging us to install it.. -
