Can I change providers of my Office 365 Business?

I have a customer with Office 365 Business who wants to use me as his retailer for this service instead of his current provider, is there any way of changing this or do I have to set this up as a new service?

As can be seen from above link, when current subscription expire, user can purchase the subscription from you. If auto-renew is enabled for the subscription, user can choose to cancel the subscription with that retailer by visiting

I want to develop a app for office 365 web. I know javascript api is available for that purpose but the problem is, it is limited to some functionality only. I want to manipulate excel sheets and ranges so will Interop assembly work ?

No, the Office PIAs is used to interact with Office Client which developet with COM technology. The Office online is different with Office client, it is an service and exposed with HTML.

I've signed up for Office 365 Business Essentials service, and I have trouble sending and receiving emails. All the messages I send to my email associated with this account get a reply with error message

Additionally, all the mails I send from Outlook OWA in a browser and with iPhone app are stuck in Drafts folder and are not sent anywhere.
This is what I tried:
Checked the mail flow in Exchange admin center. There are no mail rules, no inbound or outbound connectors
Checked for DNS issues with my domain by clicking "Manage domains" in Admin center. Message was "barsukov.net domain is set up correctly. No action is
required."
Checked the MX records of my domain, barsukov.net, which point to a correct domain suggested by Microsoft.
Most of the search results related to this error suggest to add entries to hosts file on server with Exchange. This is not applicable to my case, obviously, since I use a cloud version of Exchange.
How to fix this issue?

I would like to advice a client of mine to use Yammer, edition: Office 365 Business Essentials. This edition is sufficient in all areas, but my client wants to know first whether it is possible to apply their own corporate identity, such as logos and colors.
I already chatted with customer support, but they didn't know and sent me the link to this portal... Please help? :-)

Can't connect outlook 2013 with Office 365 (Eventid 36888)

We got a newly installed computer (windows 8.1) joined in a windows 2008 R2 domain. Most of the clients don't have issues with connecting to office 365. But
this one has problems.
1. When I try to connect to office 365, outlook prompts me the following:
- An encrypted connection to your mail server is not available ... (try unencrypted ...)
2. When I have a look to the eventvwr I see the following error:
- Source: Schannel
- Event ID: 36888
- User: System
- Message: The following fatal alert was generated: 10. The internal error state is 10. This concerning TLS-protocol.
- Details: ProcessID: 564
3. When I have a look to ProcessID 564 who generates the problem I see lsass.exe.
I performed already the following thing:
- Outside the domain there is no problem
- Reinstalled office doesn't help
- Configure outlook for office 365 doesn't help
- Checked the server and removed all gpo's, scripts for that user, ...
- The user is local Admin
Can you please assist me with this ?

Please check whether the user can access the mailbox in OWA. If the problematic user can access mailbox from OWA, we can try to create a new Outlook profile to connect to Office 365. Please make sure the setting of "Encrypt data between Microsoft Outlook
and Microsoft Exchange" is checked in Account Settings.
If it doesn't work, please check whether the account can be configured in another computer.

Can I claim world minutes from Office 365 purchase...

I bought Office 365 in the UAE and it was advertised as having free world minutes but I don't see how to activate them in my Microsoft Account. I am, therefore, assuming that they are not available to me and the product was marketed incorrectly (nothing on the box to say that there were restrictions and even the sales staff said that we would be able to use them). Is it indeed the case that I can't use them here. Could I use them if I used a VPN or when I'm abroad?

Yes you should be able to use them in those circumstances.

Can't send to recipients in Office 365 from on premises

I have a test recipient in Office 365 that can send email to me (my mailbox is on premises) but I cannot send emails to it. All of the emails get caught on the edge transport with a loopback error.
I only have the 2 default send connectors configured when I configured EdgeSync (ADsite to internet and Internet to ADsite). Do i need to specify something on these connectors?

Why users with E1 license can use Azure Right Management on Office 365?

As far as I know, for Enterprise E1 plan, subscribers can only add Office 365 Message Encryption on a per-user basis by purchasing Windows Azure Rights Management. You might want to have a check and see if you've added this for E1 users.

Can't activate 1 year of Office 365 Personal on Stream 8 tablet

I click on the "Microsoft Office" tile, then click "Activate", then it opens up the web browser and I log in with my Microsoft account. But then it just says "Office is not associatted with this account. Sign in with a different account with Office already activated or activate office." I click "activate office". It prompts me to log in again, then it takes me to the "Office is not associatte with this account" screen. It's driving me crazy!

I couldn't work out which category to put this into. We have built our own provisioning and billing portal which is currently used to provision phone services. We currently resell hosted exchange and are looking to resell Office 365. Are there any API's
available for Office 365 for the creation, management, deletion of businesses and users within that business. We want all of the functionality of the office 365 partner and admin portal but we want all tasks to be completed within our own provisioning portal
using API calls to the office 365 admin tools?
For example, you can purchase office 365 from the godaddy website, we want to be able to do that.

Can't change file association for Office

I've previously gone to Apple Support without success on this - so I hope it's not too obvious a question!
I'm running Office v.X on my new Macbook, having previously uninstalled the demo for Office 2004 from the machine. However, when I save Word files emailed over to me they are associated with the non-existent 2004 version of Word (11.2.0) and consequently I can't open them from the Finder (gives error -10660 as it can't find this application).
While I can change my Word files individually to point at the v.X version of Word that's actually running on the Macbook, if I click Change All from within the Get Info... box then the application in Open with... reverts back to 2004 Word! This makes it impossible for me to universally associate my Word documents with Word v.X. Grrrr.
Apple have suggest that the Finder is picking up that Office 2004 is still the default application. However I ran the uninstall utility and there's nothing obvious in the Library/Receipts folder - where apparently you'd expect this to be set.
Any ideas as it's really irritating?! Please keep it reasonably simple for me

Can't change language on Microsoft office 2011

I live in Britain, I have Microsoft office 2011 and use it a lot. For some reason I can not permanently change my language to British English as it keeps defaulting back to US english whenever I open word, or powerpoint. Can someone tell me why this happens and how to fix it?
