Can I put images in pop ups?

My original iBA ebook that I plan to remake in InDesign epub contains many popups that include images as well as text. I see several references to making pop up "footnotes" in InDesign epub, but so far have found nothing about placing images in pop ups. Can it be done? The use of the word, "footnotes" worries me a bit, just in case it implies some kind of limitation on pop up use. My pop ups are not footnotes, but more like mini pages within pages...

With IBA being my full experience in making epub to date, I guess I got little spoiled on making things like pop ups and was hoping the process could be just as straight forward and easy in InDesign. Looks like I've got some real learning to do. Maybe after I get it all down, I will like InDesign better.

After generating the CHM, when I click the pop-ups to view the screen shots, they are not displayed correctly. That is, half of the image does not appear and there are no horizontal scroll bars either to scroll. Thank you for the response. Alas, updating the DHTML effects doesn't help. In the project that am working, I have used hyperlinks that are marked to be displayed as auto-sizing pop-ups.
I also tried editing the eHlpDhtm.js file as mentioned in the thread here, https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1297423#expires_in=86399993&token_type=bearer&access_token =eyJhbGciOiJSUzI1NiIsIng1dSI6I…. But that was of no avail either.
Do you have any other insights here?

Images inside pop-ups in CHM not displaying correctly

I am generating a CHM using RoboHelp 10 on a Windows XP machine.
I have a few pop-ups in some topics. These pop-ups contain screen shots. After generating the CHM, when I click the pop-ups to view the screen shots, they are not displayed correctly. That is, half of the image does not appear and there are no horizontal scroll bars either to scroll. This happens for pop-ups that appear on the left side of a topic. The images inside pop-ups that appear to the right side of a topic appear fine when clicked.
The help file was originally created using RH 7. I upgraded the source files to RH 10 successfully and there were no errors during the upgradation.
I even tried generating the CHM on other systems with RH10 and the same system configuration as mine but ended up with the same results. I assume there is some compatibility issue maybe between RH 7 and RH10.
Looking forward to any helpful insights here as this is pretty urgent at the moment for me to resolve the aforementioned issue at the earliest.

I was wondering is there a script, I can use to block Contentlink pop ups?
I tried this below, from Macworld forum, I c & p the text onto a textedit page & saved it in Documents, but it stays grayed out when I tried to select it as my Style Sheet in Safari's preferences, advanced tab.
I have zero knowledge on writing scripts.
I know I can use Pith Helmut, however i prefer not to use a third party app for this.I would appreciate any help offered.

You may have pop-ups blocked.
Go to Settings>Safari and turn "Block pop-ups" off. You may needs to restart the ipad after turning off this settings if it doesnt work immediately

Virus? I can't get rid of pop-ups!

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. I'm not sure what is going on, however, whenever I search something in google, the results will come up, and then about 2 seconds later, other random text and links will appear. The most annoying part though is that whenever I click on ANYTHING, whether it be a link or a field to fill in, it takes me to various "mac cleaner" websites. I haven't downloaded any of those sites, yet it's started happening in the last day and appears to be getting worse. There are also random ads appearing on every website I go to, that never appeared before. For example, at the google home page, there are now random ads all over the bottom of it.
I have tried to manage my cookies and pop ups, I've deleted chrome and reinstalled it again, I have restarted my computer, nothing seems to be helping! I've tried all three of my web browsers - safari, chrome and firefox, and they all do the same thing. I am at a standstill!
Can someone please guide me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated as I use my computer for work and this is inhibiting my ability to use it!!!

How can I get Facebook game pop-ups to appear without having to downgrade Firefox as I need version 6 for work?

When I try to send back a gift in a Facebook game, there should be a pop-up that appears to allow me to do this. However in the newest version of Firefox, I can not get these pop-ups to appear and I have to have version 6 to be able to work from home. So how do I fix this?

This might be because your settings are configured to block pop-ups. To fix this:

Images and Pop-Ups Will Not Open in IE???

I have several .html pages being displayed within an i-Frame.
There are thumbnail images on .html pages that are being displayed
within the i-frames, and these thumbnails are not displaying in IE,
even though they do display in Firefox. The thumbails are linked
through JavaScript code (written by Dreamweaver 8) to open up .html
pages. Some of these thumbnails are displaying (even though some do
not and all use the same code), though the links to the pop-ups are
not working.
Everything works fine in FireFox, this is only a problem in
IE. I am using version 7 of IE.
Does anyone have ANY ideas why this may not be working????

I can allow pop-ups from certain sites in Tools/Settings, why then can I not also block pop-ups from certain sites since Firefox doesn't always manage to block them?

Whenever I visit, for instance, merriam-webster.com an ad from groupon invariably pops up in a new window.
OK, so Firefox does not manage to block it although I have this option checked in Tools/Settings/Content.
But why can I not enter the URL of the groupon ad and manually block it?
I can allow pop-ups from sites of my choice in Tools/Settings/Content, I think I should also be able to block sites?

Actually, you cant put images in the background of the menu. It was never possible on symbian phones. The only way you'll get the images there through a theme, and only the theme image can be seen there. You'll have to make your own theme if you want. Just google for carbide UI.

How can I prevent appround.biz pop ups?

Appround.biz pop ups freeze my other applications that are in use and is very annoying. I also constantly receive Mozilla game pop ups. I have no desire in utilizing any of the various appround.biz or Mozilla game apps. I have a desktop pc with Windows Vista.

Can't seem to block pop ups on my Imac

Hello i have an Imac osx 10.6.8. My current browsers are Safari, Chrome and Firefox. For some reason no matter which browser i use i always get pop ups. I have checked on all of them and have made certain that there block pop ups feature was enabled. But still i get pop ups. The only thing i can think of is that all of this started when i started watching Hulu on my computer. Any help would be awesome. Thanks again.
