I changed over to Icloud a couple months ago and just now tried to upload a new site
to mobile me and this is what I got your mobileme account has been upgraded to icloud
Can I still use Mobile me? if yes then what do I need to do ?

You need to go to the System/MobileMe preference pane and sign in to MobileMe. Then iWeb will be able to publish to your iDisk (MobileMe) again until June 30, 2012. After that the iDisk will go away as well as your iWeb sites.

Can you still upload content to iTunesU?

We are getting ready to start a small iTunesU evaluation site for password-protected course material.
One of the main advantages, for us, is being able to upload content to a hosted server.
Is this still possible with iTunesU? We don't have an account yet.
I hear rumors uploading is no longer possible unless you signed an agreement before Jan 1 or so.
In that case, it appears in the case of protected material, there may not be much advantage to using iTunesU over the new Podcast Library in Snow Leopard Server.

Anywho, I don't want to say that it's impossible…that's for Duncan & Co. (i.e., Apple) to decide…but yes, the general rule is that sites created after January 2009 are no longer Apple hosted. Sites created before January 2009 have this option. But while the option exists for some of us, and while Apple has made no public or private statement regarding what it would like us old timers to do, it's my impression that Apple's intention is that we move away from hosting content at Apple if we can do so.
However, before you rule it out, consider that iTunes U's main strength…the main reason for adopting it…is not where your content will be hosted…rather, it's the way in which you'll be leveraging the synergy that exists between iTunes/iPods/iPhones/and the iTunes Store for educational ends. It's certainly possible to get content to an iPod in a bunch of different ways, but the iTunes Store has become such a focus for users, that using the store can make a lot of sense. It need not be used to the exclusion of other solutions…what's important is that you're taking the complexity of grabbing and publicizing an academic podcast onto yourself…and you're relieving your audience from the hassle of working it through. In effect, you're using a system that your students know and use every day.

If you're talking about the hybrid-epub file (.ibooks) that iBooks Author outputs, yes, using iBooks Author is OS X/Mac only.
You have .epub files already. You don't need iBooks Author (.ibooks), unless you want to use some of the special features it allows such as widgets, in which case you'd need to move your existing content over and rework as needed. Note there is no direct import mechanism from .epub to iBooks Author.
Standard/compatible epubs, regardless of the tools (Mac/Windows), can be uploaded to the store....this is how books got into the store before iBooks Author was released earlier this year, and that original process remains.
Either way....standard or hybrid - both epub types require using iTunes Producer to interact with the backend and get your ebooks into the store.
FYI, You're in the iBooks Author forum - if this question doesn't involve iBooks Author (meaning you just want to stick with your existing .epub files), you may want to move to one of the other Apple Books forums, instead, thanks.

Stolen Computer - Can I still upload music from old iPod to new computer?

Our computer was stolen last fall, so I'm unable to change the settings in iTunes on the iPods and iPhone we have with all our music files on them. I'm wondering if there is still a way for me to transfer that music (and photos) from our iPods and iPhone to our new computer without being able to access the old computer itself? Please help! I really don't want to have lost all my music and photos!

You can have as many sites and domain names on a single MMe account. However, only one site can use the CNAME domain name forwarding while the others must use URL forwarding.
Multiple Sites with Domain Name(s) in a Single MobileMe Account
Here's how to have multiple sites in a single MMe account with one or more sites having a domain name.
A. All sites are in the same Domain.sites2 files
1 - only one site can use the CNAME method of domain name forwarding and it must the top site in the left hand pane of iWeb.

2 - the other sites must use URL domain name forwarding which directs the domain name to the site's full MMe URL, http://web.me.com/MMeUsername/SiteName, or, if there is no domain name, just MobileMe's full URL.
B. Each site is in its own Domain.sites2 file.
Again, only one site can use CNAME forwarding. This presents a problem since CNAME forwarding directs the domain name to the basic MMe account URL: http://web.me.com/MMe_Username/ which uses an index.html file in the root folder of the account, iDisk/Web/Sites. Each time a new site is published or an existing site uses the File->Publish Entire Site a new index.html file is created in that root directory, iDisk/Web/Sites folder, directing the browser to that particular site. This file is what the CNAME method uses to find the site it represents.
Therefore some steps must be taken to assure that the index.html file in the MMe Accounts root directory always points to the correct site. This can be accomplished is three ways.
1 - don't use the CNAME method. Just use URL forwarding . This, IMO, is the simplest method as it doesn't requre any additional effort on the user once the domain name has been set up.
2 - use the following method suggested by Wyodor in this topic: Is it possible to have multiple sites when using ur Domain name?
In iWeb domainfile 1:
Create a dummy site : _dummy
with a blank page.
Create your working site : Whatever
Add pages
Publish both Sites to the same same location on the same server.
Your _dummy site is now the default Site.
Check.
In iWeb domainfile 2:
Create/Use your CurrentSite.
Move a page to the top of the Site and back. Publish the Site.
iWeb will create a new index.html file in the root of the server and from now on CurrentSite is the default site.
Check.
From now on, never move your Whatever Site to the top of the list in the iWeb sidebar and never change the page in the _dummy site.
Simply do not touch your _dummy ever again. And never forget that.
3 - use Ethmoid's suggested method in Using two sites - setting one up with separate domain? or republishing the entire site that uses CNAME forwarding. Just making a minor change and publishing the site changes does not create a new index.html file.
The entire site must be republsihing in order to get that new site.
Or keep a copy of the CNAME site's index.html file on your Mac and replace it manually in the iDisk/Web/Sites fodler when necessary.
NOTE: the CNAME method provides a shorter URL: http://www.DomainName.com/Site_Name/PageName. CNAME does not have masking.
The URL forwarding displays the full MMe URL:
http://web.me.com/MMeUsername/Domain_Name/PageName.
With domain name masking that will be shortened to:
http://www.Domain_Name.com for every page of your site.
However, visitors will only be able to bookmark and enter at the first page of the site. If a page is refreshed the visitor is taken back to the first page. Also search engines will only be able to index the first page of the site.

there's no FM to delete all the registered MCDs in the MI
server at the moment. MCDs can only be deleted/removed if
there are no users/devices that use it. you can clear all
data of the user using the following FMs.
DELETE_ALL_DATA_OF_DEVICE
DELETE_ALL_DATA_OF_USER
DELETE_DATA_FOR_ALL_MI_DEVICES
DELETE_DATA_FOR_ALL_MI_USERS
if the existing dependencies are removed, then you can delete
the MCD using the FM
ME_JSP_SMOMO_MSD_DELETE
or directly clean up table BWAFDEPL.

If you have an iCloud account, yes. You enable it on the iPhone by setting up your iCloud account. Then, in the iCloud account settings, enable the find my iphone feature. Now you can log in to your iCloud account via a web browser and track your phone (or use the find my phone app from the iTunes store on another iOS device).

Hi, I was having the same issue, I have many numbers blocked but when then choose to hide their number the Phone would ring.
I have since found a solution.

Do Not Disturb
Manual
Allow Calls From - All Contacts
With Do Not Disturb on all the time, only people in your contacts can contact you, and all the people you have in your Blocked lists still stay blocked.
Just be careful when you have your phone on silent, this will stop all notifications coming through, including text alerts etc.
But for me its either this or change my number which i really cant be bothered to do

Hey all, I have been seriouly thinking of buying Mac Book Pro 2010 model (one with Nvidia GPU in it) I almost bought one few months back, but I couldn't get monthly payment option in Bestbuy.. And I ened up buy Asus laptop lol. As my old desktop cpu was getting old. Anywho.. I use to use Mac long ago in Highschool and they have come a long way since system 7.
I have always wanted a Mac, Tired of mircsoft Bs and all virus/spyware and other crap. Just couldn't afford one.
But hopefully that will be soon.
I have been checking on-line and reading the reviews of the new Mac Book Pro 2011 models. I also notice they are now using ATI/Amd video GPU in then. Most people are not liking them, Being that I am gamer, I do want decent laptop with atlest half decent video card. I have read a lot reviews on older Mac book pro's wih Nvida gpu. I myself like Nvidia over Ati.
Anywho i hope I can still get one before they are gone. My Question is...

Please always post your System details when you have a query. The upgrade to the new MobileMe calendar produces different results, and different problems, with different versions of OSX.
Snow Leopard: during the upgrade process your iCal calendars should be moved to MobileMe (this can take some time and you have to wait for it to happen). Once done, your iCal reads the calendars from MobileMe so any changes made in either place will be visible immediately. If this has not happened then this Apple Tech Note provides instructions:

Since I upgraded to Yosemite I can no longer upload photos to eBay by selecting "events" all my photos pop up together. Anyone know how to fix this?

I recently updated to Yosemite 10.10.1. Since I updated I can no longer upload photos to eBay, Shutterfly, Craigslist by selecting "events". It is no longer an option.
All my photos come up as one entire library. When I view them in iPhoto they are divided into events, however once I go to upload them the entire library appears without any defining options, such as "events", recent imports, etc. I thought at first this might be an issue with eBay, but realized it wasn't when I tried to list on Craigslist. This is a nuisance and time consuming process. Does anyone know if there is a fix in the future or if I am just missing some quick fix?

I would like to add that Comcast is my internet provider. Perhaps that is part of the issue although the Connection Doctor confirms the mail box is connecting to the internet. No other function processes when Connection Doctor program is used to find the source of the issue. I have read forum posts but am unable to find a way to get my Apple mail to be delivered to my computer. It worked fine up until I chose to transfer mail to the Cloud. My mail account is a .mac account.
Still hoping someone out there can help me.
