Can I store a value into a given row and channel?

Hi all-
My question is basic, but I can't seem to find the answer in any of the forums or help windows.
Is there a way to store a variable into a particular row and cell number?For example, if i have a channel named [1]/ChannelB and the following:
Dim A
A= 12
I want to store the value of 12 into row 7 of [1]/ChannelB... Is there a method for doing this?

You can access individual cells in DIAdem with the ChDX variable.
For instance, to store the value of A in row 7 of [1]/ChannelB you'd do this:
Dim A
A = 12
chnval(7,"/ChannelB") = A

How can I pass a value into a page fragment?
I am implementing four search screens. And the only thing different about them will be their backing bean.
So I’d like to do something like have four pages, each which retrieves its appropriate backing bean, sets that bean to a variable, and then includes a page fragment which contains the generic search page code (which will make use of that variable).
The code in the four pages would be something like this:

At this point, what I’m seeing is that the fragment page, SearchPageBody.jsff, has no visibility of the searchPageBackingBean variable, either referencing it as #{pageFlowScope.searchPageBackingBean} or just #{searchPageBackingBean}

The following will work, assuming you are needing to access a managed bean:
Put this in the parent page:
<c:set var="nameOfSearchPageBackingBean"
value="employeeSearchPageBean"

Put this in the child, SearchPageBody.jsff:
<c:set var="searchPageBean"
value="#{pageFlowScope[nameOfSearchPageBackingBean]}"

How can I sum the values in a given column on sheet 1 i.e. A1:A50 based on the adjacent columns specific value i.e. B1:B50 = "Living Room" on sheet 2

Store multiple values into a variable

I was wondering if it was possible to store multiple values into one varaible. Something along the lines of...
Oracle: 10g
--Table xSample (this is obviously a dumbed down version of the table for the sake of showing what I want to accomplish

where    year = 2009;Basically the reason I was trying to figure out how to store multiple values into a variable is b/c I was going to use that variable (pID) as a parameter and have it's values passed dynamically when the proc was called. The values would go into a query that would look something like:

from cust_data
where person_id in (pID)
aka
select *
from cust_data
where person_id in (1,2,3,4)Not sure if this is possible, but if anyone knows of a way I could accomplish this that would be great.

Here's a basic idea building a comma seperated list, then consuming it in another query (taking the in list approach from Tom's post, linked earlier).

I think you should get together with the other engineers there at NI. I spoke to one on the phone yesterday and he told me that the read-only aspect relates to writing between the database and PLC. I'm trying to write to the database and he told me that I could do it.

How to insert column values into database as rows

I have 8 columns and some not null columns. Based on not null columns I want to insert into table as rows. The 8 columns may contain values or no value. If the first column contains data, then I have to insert into one row. if the second column contains data I have to insert a row and in second column. respectively...So How can I insert column values into rows. Can I write 8 insert statements. (OR) is it possible to insert data from columns using where clause.

However the main array that I am trying to build that is suppose to take each new calculation and place it in the next index(row) does not ap

I didn't really have time to dig in and understand your program in depth,
but I have a few tips for you that might things a bit easier:
- You use local variables excessively which really complicates things. Try
not to use them and it will make your life easier.
- If you flowchart the design (very similar to a dataflow diagram, keep in
mind!) you want to gather data, calculate a value from that data, store the
calculation in an array, and loop while the time is in a certain range. So
theres really not much need for a sequence as long as you get rid of the
local variables (sequences also complicate things)
- You loop again if timepassed+1 is still less than some constant. Rather
than messing with locals it seems so much easier to use a shiftregister (if
absolutely necessary) or in this case base it upon the number of iterations
of the loop. In this case it looks like "time passed" is the same thing as
the number of loop iterations, but I didn't check closely. There's an i
terminal in your whileloop to read for the number of iterations.
- After having simplified your design by eliminating unnecessary sequence
and local variables, you should be able to draw out the labview diagram.
Don't try to use the "insert into array" vis since theres no need. Each
iteration of your loop calculates a number which goes into the next position
of the array right? Pass your result outside the loop, and enable indexing
on the terminal so Labview automatically generates the array for you. If
your calculation is a function of previous data, then use a shift register
to keep previous values around.
I wish you luck. Post again if you have any questions. Without a more
detailed understanding of your task at hand it's kind of hard to post actual
code suggestions for you.

Store int values into dynamic array

I'm a newbie in JAVA whose want to store int values (coming from a resultset) into an dynamic array. I know that normally to create a "dynamic array" you'd better use a Vector, but it seems that I don't know how to use it correctly (throws me a exception as : Incompatible type for method. Can't convert int[] to java.lang.Object[]).

After a build in LabVIEW you can see the code in KEIL uVision. I think that your project is already set to download it to the flash.
I think you have set the option in de LabVIEW build: enable debugging and Generate guard code.
when you uncheck them, your application wont need a kick from your debugger to start the application..
