Hi All, I am using following sql query to fetch some records. select nvl('RP5_dsc_dlk_MED_DEL_SBH_20130919_5799.out.bc','RP5_dsc_dlk_MED_DEL_SBH_20130919_5799.out.bc')||'|'|| nvl(tm_cdr_file_name,'NA')||'|'|| nvl(min(obj_id0),'0')||'|'|| nvl(max(obj_id0),'0')||'|'|| nvl(count(obj_id0),'0')||'|'|| nvl(trim(to_char(sum(VOLUME_RECEIVED)/100,'9999999999999990.99')),'0') from EVENT_DLAY_SESS_TLCS_T where obj_id0 between 1433833603724199101 and 1433833603724199109 group by nvl(tm_cdr_file_name,'NA') The above query is perfect and returns data. In this case the returned data is as below: RP5_dsc_dlk_MED_DEL_SBH_20130919_5799.out.bc|ICP_dsc_dlk_MED_DEL_SBH_20130919_5799.edr|1433833603724199101|1433833603724199109|9|2.00 However, when there is no matching obj_id0. My expected result will be as below: RP5_dsc_dlk_MED_DEL_SBH_20130919_5799.out.bc|NA|0|0|0|0 I tried NVL and decode but it did not work. Any help on this is highly appreciated. Thanks Angsuman

Is the query really perfect, or does it have some problem?
Whenever you have a problem, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only), and the results you want from that data, so that the people who want to help you can re-create the problem and test their ideas.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say what version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.2.0).

No you won't necessarily lose your photos when upgrading but it's very very unwise not to back up first. Backing up is like using a seat belt in a car. You can drive without one for years and have no issues, but if you do have a problem the outcome will be a lot worse. So, too, with back ups. And upgrading is one of those times when the risks of a problem are higher.
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

I have a Discover Card site that gives me a one time charge number and I can not use it with Firefox as it says I do not have a browser open or available

I'm not sure what you mean. Did you redeem the gift card to your iTunes Store account? If not, just give your brother the gift card and he can redeem it in his own iTunes Store account. If you did redeem the card, then there's no way to transfer the balance from your iTunes Store account to his. He'd have to use your iTunes Store account to make the purchases and sync to his devices.

I can not activate icloud because when I put my e-mail address it answers that somebody is already using my address. I have my old e-mails, but I can not receive any e-mail or send them.
I have contacted Apple Technical Support in Spain and I was sent an e-mail saying that I have to call a phone number and when I call it is always an answering machine who answers that says that I have to pay 50€ for a consultation or wait for 10 minutes. When I have made the consultation it was never mentioned that I have to pay 50€ for a phone consultation. If I don't want to wait I have to pay for the Apple Tecnical Support which cost 250 €, this was not mentioned in the technical support page.
Can somebody let me know how can I contact Apple in another way in order to talk with a human being or chat directly? I was very happy just using my mobileme e-mails, I didn't need any clouds and I was force by Apple to registered if I want to continue using my mobileme e-mail address.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you did a good job editing your Apple ID and primary email address, but you didn’t sign out of iCloud on your iOS device before hand. What you may need to do in this situation is go back to the Apple ID website and edit your Apple ID and primary email address back to the email address that is signed in with iCloud (there is no need to verify the account after editing it back to the old account, just changing it back is enough). Once your Apple ID is back to the original account, delete the iCloud account from the iOS device and be sure to keep all info on the device when prompted. After you delete the iCloud account, go back to the website and edit your Apple ID and primary email address back to the new address. Once it is back to the account you would like, you can sign into the iCloud on the iOS device with that new account and merge all of the data when prompted. Please use the following article as a reference.

I can no longer download and save files. They are now saved with a ".part" suffix that I can not use or open. What happened, I used to do this all the time?

Downloads seem to be happening normally at first but the file shows up with a file extension of ".part" that I can not use or open. If I refresh the folder where it was downloaded to, it disappears as though it wasn't there at all.
I used to do this and it just yesterday started to give me problems. It doesn't seem to matter what file type I do this with as PDF, MP3 and EXE files have all shown this problem.
Please help!

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.<br />
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

Have been having issues with firefox crashing & v e r r y s l o w also sluggish, I removed by the programs & features than redownloaded it, I can not use it.

Had to remove it for the last & final time. I love & miss my Firefox, but can't take the chance of someone getting into my system. More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

There is a solution (I'm running Snow Leopard on a Core2Duo iMac, but this problem arose when I was running Leopard on a G4 PowerBook too).
Problem:
You download the OS X driver for the scanner from Canon's site. I already had the CanoScan Toolbox (4.1) stored on an external drive.
You unzip the driver and run the VISE installer. After a search it finds your copy of Photoshop (and maybe even the CanoScan Toolbox), and you click to install on that/those location(s).
You get a couple of error messages, which you click through.
You restart your computer and try to run the scanner but you get an error that the driver is wrong or missing and the process will abort.
Solution:
BEFORE you restart, and with the installer package still open -
1. Copy the Into_CFMSupport_Login & Into_CMPrefs folders to
Applications : Canon Utilities
Applications : Canoscan Toolbox
and remove the prefix Into_ from each folder
2. Check whether the installer placed N067U_Library.shlb into the top level (not User level)
Library : CFMSupport
and if it didn't, move it there yourself
THEN restart, and try again. It worked for me (via Photoshop), but whether it will work for everyone, I don't know.

THE use of the apple support is a mess also.
I want to be able to use my MAC fully and easily like I used to with Snow Leopard.

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...
