Can't adjust (lessen) the space above text in div sidebar...

... and it looks like even more space when I f-12 than it does in the dreamweaver workspace
I have tried everything and nothing will lessen the space between the top of the text header and the top of the sidebar
here is the link, and I am referring to the beige sidebars on either side of the site:

Can I adjust all the master gains for all the keyframes at once?

I edited a whole scene and keyframed some corrections but I wanted to change a few settings for the keyframes such as master gain. Is there anyway to fix this so I can just adjust all the master gians for all the keyframes at once? Thanks!

If its the vignette geometry that is keyframed, and not the corrections, as written, (there is a distinction) then the color values are presumably NOT keyframed, as the keyframe only applies to that room/component of the grade, and not the whole grade. Your Primary In correction, in this case, is NOT keyframed and all the normal rules for revising corrections apply.
Apple COLOR has a systemic definition: a change in values for a ROOM is a "correction", and the accumulation of corrections for a clips is a 'grade'.
Keyframes only govern the behaviour of the room that they are created in, and don't apply across the board to the whole grade. The advantage is that the corrections can act independently.. the disadvantage is that the grade itself cannot be copy-and-pasted into another keyframed clip without any preparations.
There are ways of doing that that are not in the Manual.
I concur with your view of tracking, and you do have to do a wetware estimate to decide whether the investment is worth it... maybe a start and end keyframe is all you need, and adjust the trajectory as required.
Wetware= that 'goo' between most people's ears, that starts right behind their eyes.

Can I export just the "show" conditional text to a mif?

When I export a document with conditional text to a pdf, just the conditional text that is set to "show" (and the unconditional text) appears in the pdf. That's good, but I want the same thing when exporting a mif. There are two reasons for this:
(1) We have an in-house tool that parses a mif and extracts data from certain tables to populate a database. The tool doesn't parse pdfs. And the tool won't always handle conditional text correctly, particularly conditional text table rows. The tool would work fine if the conditional text were already "resolved" during the export to mif.
(2) I'd like to use the Boolean logic for conditional text that is available in FM9, but I need to furnish files to other groups in the company that use FM7. Their FM7 wouldn't display conditional text properly if it depended on anything other than OR logic. But they would be happy to accept mif files that didn't have any conditional text because it had been "resolved" when I generated a mif7 file for them.
I've tried various ways to convert a pdf into a mif file, but no process seems to preserve the formatting and the editable text. I'd be willing to accomplish this in some round-about fashion involving Framemaker, Acrobat Pro and/or some other tool.
But the happiest outcome for me would be to discover that FM9 already has the ability to export just the "show" conditional text and the unconditional text to a mif.
Or can this be done by making a copy of the document and then somehow automating the deletion of the "hide" conditional text and the conversion of the "show" conditional text to unconditional?

Writing a custom script to filter the MIF to parse out the conditions is non-trivial. You can try a Google search for an existing filter or script that does the job. However, if there is no such thing, then you're on the right track, getting FM to do the hard part - filtering the conditionalized content correctly. For example:
* In a copy of the original file, delete the condition(s) you want to hide; during the deletion, you have the option to delete the corresponding text. Then save as MIF to a descriptive name, or save as .fm to a new name, then open and save that file as MIF. Close the source file without saving.
* Reopen the source file and do the same process from this fresh instance, deleting the condition(s) you want to show. Save as above.
* Within FM itself, however, there's no way to automate this process. With one of the free FM utilities - dobatch from cudspan, or dzbatcher from datazone - you can script opening and saving an FM file as MIF. Search Google for dobatch, cudspan, dzbatcher, or datazone.
* To automate setting the conditions, a keystroke-macro recorder might serve, otherwise you'd need the commercial FrameScript product, and a customized script if there's no existing script for this purpose. For FrameScript info, check with Rick Quattro at frameexpert.com.
* If you're using Structured FrameMaker and have the expertise available to customize an EDD, you could take advantage of the "filter by attribute" feature, but it's not trivial to adopt Structured FM just for this narrowly-focused need.

Rendered video does not "go green" in the space above clips, is this video rendered?

When rendering a video the bar above the video clips that goes from yellow to green does not change. I have a few spaces that are green which tells me it has rendered but the majority does not have any color registered. How can I tell if this has been rendered?

Just in case background....
For Premiere Elements 13/13.1 on Windows 7 64 bit, the Timeline Rendering process has 3 indicators, orange, green, and no colored line.
Content with orange line over it, needs Timeline rendering to get the best possible preview in the Edit area monitor playback.
Green, does not need Timeline rendering to get the best possible preview in the Edit area monitor playback, and Timeline rendering is not possible.
No colored line, does not need Timeline rendering to get the best possible preview - you imported the file into the project with the correct project settings. No Timeline Render is possible. The no line color will change to orange once you edit the file (you will not see no colored line again) just green after the Timeline render.
Although Timeline rendering is a preview matter and does not influence the end product, it is still an excellent window of opportunity to catch a problem sooner than later, especially for titles, transitions, effects, and non native formats. But, you do not need to do it in order to continue to Publish+Share for the export.
Let us do this so in an attempt to get you Timeline rendered content (best possible preview) to view in the Edit area monitor....
1. Open a new project and import the same 38 clips from the hard drive into Premiere Elements Expert workspace. Do you have the same Timeline Rendering issues that you had in the original project?
2. Can you post a screenshot of your Timeline, displaying the Timeline right after you have attempted a Timeline Render. This would show
Only 5 of the 38 clips show green. The 5 green are not sequential.
3. Also, go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Scratch Disks, and tell us what you find for Video Previews relating to save location and available free space at that location. Then go to the actual location for the video previews and tell us the folder size (Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files Folder).
There is always moving on in the project and ignoring the Timeline Render situation, but we should explore an explanation for the what is and leave ignoring as a last resort.

Is there a method I can use to test the space cost of a Java program?

I am trying to test the space cost of a Java program (or a few lines of executed codes), however...
Firstly I tried to use the method freeMemory() in runtime class at start and end of a number of lines tested on, and then find the differences between them. But because I don't know when JVM releases memories, this idea seems not working.
I also tries to use the -verbose:gc to print the GC actions, which is also hard to be automatically collected (Computing the results one by one by hand is too burdensome).
Is there a method in some classes can be used for doing this? Could anyone help me on this, please?

How can I get back the space to type in web addresses when I click on safari. it seems to have gone away??

I am trying to find out how to get back the space up top of window that appears when I click on safari. I used to be able to type in web addresses and go to places but somehow I lost the space which was just above or just below gray space that show apple, store, mac, ipod etc. I am 78 & sometimes get confused. any hep would be greatly appreciated. I know I had my arrow on somewhere near that space and heard a sound and when I looked back at my puter that space was gone. ??? any ideas,, Annette l

hi, i've faced this problem for a long time. that whatever things i've copy into a hard disk or pendrive, and used it on window or what, and when i wanted to remove the stuff inside, the "spaces" just seems to be still there. which means i've already deleted the file, but the storage dint even free out any space? i wonder why ? sometimes i dint even communicate my pendrive with other laptop, and yet this happened. it goes the same to my friend's mac. i wonder is this normal ?

What controls the space above 'maincontent' in CSS layout with header?

In a freshly-downloaded CSS page layout with header (twoColHybLtHdr or similar), there is a space of about 20px between the bottom of the header box and the top of the maincontent box. Because of this space, when a bottom border is added to the header and a left border to maincontent, the two lines don't intersect, which is what I want. What controls this space so I can get rid of it?

How do I eliminate the space above a spry menu bar?

I made a table, set the CellPad and CellSpace to 0, and set
the width to 800 pixels. Then, I inserted an image (with a width of
800 pixels) into the table, and set the V and H of the image to 0,
and aligned the image to the top. Then, I copied a spry menu bar
(with a width of 800 pixels) above the table and pasted it in the

between the image and the spry menu bar. How do I eliminate this

If there is a spacing issue it is hard to tell without the
code. By default the Spry menu bar has 0 for margin and padding.
Make sure there is not a <p> tag within the table because the
<p> tag has an inherit padding/margin to it and could be
causing issues. The image and Spry should just be within the
<td> </td> without any <p> tags inside.

How can I speed up the loading of text in a text gallery?

I have a tekst gallery with 60 rows. The cells have on average 70 characters (< so about upto this point). When scrolling though the gallery, it sometimes takes several seconds before the tekst appears on screen (is loaded?). Is it because of the number

I created a small app to mimic your scenario. I have 100 rows of text data in Excel--each row is 200 characters long. I have the data bound to a gallery with the following controls:
4 labels that display the text data
A slider whose default value is set to Len(ThisItem!Text) -- simply trying to increase dependencies and computation
A label that displays the length of the text
Using touch/swipe, I am seeing immediate refresh--absolutely no lag. Even when I grab the scrollbar and force it all the way to the end, I am seeing sub-second response. I am unable to repro the slowdown you described.
It would be great if you can share your app file so I can investigate further. Thanks in advance for your help.

How can I adjust just the ringer volume on an iPhone 4s

I have the ringer turned way up because I'm in a noisy work environment, but that also increases the volume for the key click, game sounds, etc. is there a way to only affect the ringer volume?

An alternate method is Accessibility Settings when connected to iTunes. You should be able to turn it off there. I would also check out some of the answers listed to the right of this post and see if they can help.
