Can't Enable Email

I'm going to try to post this here because I'm really needing to access my email.
Hi all, our site went live last night through BC but now I can't access my email account. We have 2 email accounts and for some reason, on my account, the ENABLE EMAIL ACCOUNT button is greyed out. I cannot access my mail through web mail, it says my credentials are incorrect, and I can't set it up through mac mail. When I set up my email account, I checked "enable email" and hit save many times before moving on but then it doesnt' enable it and now the checkbox is greyed out.
I've read through many of the discussions and it looks like this has been an issue in the past but no resolutions.
Can someone please help ASAP? This is a business and it's very important for me to be able to get email.
I've tried signing in using the other user and deleting my account but it said something about, since this user was associated with this account at one time, the information can't be changed. What's the point of deleting someone then?

Hi Sidney, I was online with Adobe Chat yesterday and they had to refer it to their "level 2", not sure what that is but they were finally able to resolve the issue early this morning. This is a portion of the email I received from them, stating what they needed to do:
It appears that the issue here was related to the fact that you did not have the non-www record for the domain xxxxxx.com. I have since added xxxxxx.com to forward to the default hostname, which is www. xxxxxx.com. Once the non-www record was re-added, it was then possible to navigate to Site Settings > E-Mail Accounts and view the current email users and thus add [email protected] as a mail user.

This is usually caused by one or more bookmarks having a long title.
You can check that folder in the Library and shorten long names.

How can I enable SuperFetch?

I downloaded Java from Java.com (free download) to be able to open a file I received as email attachment. After the download something happened to my laptop pc (Windows 7). I received pop up messages that said something like "Your computer got infected
you need to install Windows Defender 2015. And they started to pop up almost every second and also the screen view changed. It got upside down or windows messages moved and seemed to be multiplied, very unusual things kept going...
I stopped it and went online on my tablet pc and looked for what to do if my computer got infected with virus (because that's what I thought happened). From what I read online I made sure that all Microsoft windows experts were all recommending to start
my pc in safe mode and I found some instructions such as going to Task Manager and ending processes and also to clear some files and folders in Registry Editor. I wasn't able to clear files and folder in Registry Editor. To make short, I came to the conclusion
that I needed live help from a Microsoft expert. I chatted online with some MS Support Desk techs and followed their instructions but it didn't help at all. When I click on the little flag icon with a red cross sign on it(the one that says Open Action Center)
it says 1 important message-Turn on Windows Security Center service(Important) I tried to turn it on (I don't know how many times!) but I get the message "The Windows Security Center can't be started"
I went to Troubleshooting and clicked on Check of Performance issues (under System and Security) it did checking and I got the message "Problems Found- SuperFetch is not running. Not Fixed.
My question is: HOW CAN I GET SuperFetch running? or How can I enable SuperFetch?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

Can't enable disk use on Ipod

I've recently upgraded my Ipod software to 3.1 and Itunes to 6. I've followed the tutorial to make the Ipod be a hard drive and when I click on Ipod in Itunes and go down to the Ipod icon in the lower right corner and click on that, it does NOT look like the screen on the tutorial and on the screen that I see, "enable disk use" is greyed out. I'm trying to troubleshoot why my synching contacts has allowed duplicates as well as loading in emails, which I don't want. But first I need to figure out why I can't enable disk use.

I can relate...sort of! My iTunes doesn't even HAVE that option. Can you believe it??? It's a brand new (although outdated) 40gb HP iPod, and I'm running HP version of iTunes 6. The manual says how I should enable (configure) the iTunes for use as hard disk--but it failed to tell me that no freaking icon would appear in that little corner. FRUSTRATED

Messages sent with Thunderbird do not get to recipient, but I can use other email clients that do. Settings are correct and I can check webmail and see in sent.

When I send an email it says that it is sent, but it never gets to the recipient. I am using multiple email addresses to check this and have looked in spam and all folders and the message is just not actually going through. I can log in to web-mail and the message appears in the sent folder and I can resend from web-mail and instantly the mail is received. I also installed another email client program and it is able to send mails and they go through instantly. Only Thunderbird is having issues with this. I have tried uninstalling and rebooting and then re-installing and after setup I still can not get emails to go through. If this is something simple with a setting for Thunderbird I would love a fix as we have been using Thunderbird for 6+ years. Otherwise I will just have to use the other program as it works with no mess

Can't send emails after migration from Vista PC to W7 PC. Tried Mozbackup and Windows Easy Transfer. Settings have transferred ok, it just won't send emails.

I recently migrated my Tbird from a Vista PC to a W7 PC using Mozbackup. Transfer was fine with all the settings transferred apparently correctly. But now I can receive emails but not send them. Sent emails show in 'Sent Items' but are not received the other end. Also tried the migration using the Beta 1 version of Mozbackup and also Windows Easy Transfer with the same result. IMAP and POP3 accounts are both affected. Neither can send emails. I get no error messages nor any bounceback.
Found on one forum that AVG can block outgoing emails so altered the AVG settings which seemed to solve the problem. The next morning the problem was back. I uninstalled AVG completely but it made no difference. I do have MicroSoft Sec Essentials but the problem was there before that was installed.
Using the BT Home Hub 5 on BT Infinity broadband. It can't be the router though as the old PC was sending emails fine. Although I did have the suspect AVG settings, removing it has not solved the problem.
The outgoing email settings seem to be fine. Any thoughts?

Is this a POP account, or an IMAP account? Did you enable your account type in Gmail?
You can verify whether or not you did (and enable it if you didn't) by logging into Gmail on the web. Then, open the 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' tab on your 'Settings' page, and configure IMAP. After enabling IMAP in Gmail, make sure you click 'Save Changes' so Gmail can communicate with your mail client.

Based on your limited inputs, you can login to DC using built-in administrator account and open ADUC and reset the password of your custom domain admin account.
If you have no other administrator account, there is no Microsoft recommended way to reset the passwords for domain user accounts.

Mail deleted by iCal "Enable email invitations" - recoverable?

Okay, folks, pretty stupid mistake on my end.
Thinking that MacOS is "don't worry about reading the manual" on the server end as well, I set up "enable email invitations" using my own personal email account for testing purposes.
I wasn't aware that - even though I had selected IMAP during setup - iCal server would clean out my mailbox!
Odd: it cleaned out both the Inbox AND the sent items folder!
In any case, all my emails are gone; apparently, this happened while both my Macs were online, so the local IMAP stores on both are also clean.
DISASTER!
Does iCal completely destroy the contents of the mailbox it is set up to use, or does it hoard it someplace so that I can get it back?

EDSCannotAccessSession error when enabling email

I'm using 10.5 server for Email, iChat, Calendar, and AFP on an Intel XServe. Everything has been going smoothly for a few months but in the last month when I've tried to enable email to any users in Workgroup manager I get the following error which prevents saving the changes: "Error of type eDSCannotAccessSession (-14006) on line 274 of /SourceCache/WorkgroupManager/WorkgroupManager-319.1.1/Plugins/UserAccounts/Use rMailPluginView.mm"

i have made a little more progress with this.
i am not having any problems with users that are created via exchange using New-Mailbox
it is only user accounts that have been enabled for exchange that are causing problems via Enable-Mailbox.
Both user accounts are in the Same OU, have same UM Dial Plan.
i have run a compare of security permissions using dcacls and there is a difference. mainly on an attribute called Group.
i have checked the security permissions and group membership and can't see it listed anywhere. please see output below:

Can't enable mailbox audit logs

Hello!
I can't enable mailbox audit logs. I use cmdlet Set-Mailbox -Identity "mailbox" -AuditEnabled $true and Get-Mailbox shows that
audit is enabled. But when i check Get-Mailbox| Get-MailboxFoldersStatistics there is no "Audit" subfolder, and all audit searches also return no results.
I am working now with several Exchange installations (five actually, and one is brand-new test lab) and checked the same in each organization. Result was the same!
I am stronly sure i miss something important, could you point it to me?

Please use the following command to check the Mailbox Audit Logging action setting.
Get-Mailbox –Identity “username” | fl name,*audit*
Are there any administrator, delegate, and owner actions in the audit logging configuration for that mailbox? Please post them to check this issue.
If the settings above are configured correctly, only the administrator, delegate, and owner actions specified in the audit logging configuration for the mailbox are logged. And the “Audits” folder will show up after the administrator, delegate,
and owner take the actions specified in the audit logging configuration.
By default, these actions in the audit logging configuration should be like this:

Enabling email fields

Hi gurus i would like to know how can i enable the e-mail fields from interaction center webclient
From interaction center on line i dont have any problem , but when i try to send an email in the web client the fields of the email are unaviable.
any idea?

There is a "New" button right at the bottom of the e-mail screen .. Is that active ?
If it is active and on pressing you still see the uneditable fields then we may have to check the configuration for the E -mail function profile assigned in your ICWC profile

Can't enable onion skin in animation timeline modus.

I'm trying to animate using photoshop CS6 on a windows computer. I want to use frame by frame animation, with onion skin, so i do not have to creat a new layer for every frame. THe only problem is the 'enable onion skin' option keeps dissapearing. I can enable in in video mode (in the timeline) but then when i switch to frame-by-frame animation mode (in my timeline) it's gone. Thanks for the Help. -S
