Can't get a d*mn div to position correctly

I've been up since 1:30 and made great progress with many areas (without having to come here for help), but this one makes me cuss like a sailor. I bet it's an easy fix.

In the bottom right is a div called .callbox2, which contains a text line "to view this..." I'm trying to position the box positioned beneath the photo boxes but feel like I'm chasing my tail.

All this sounds like you are confused about the general nature of MIDI Continuous Controllers (MIDI CC). The MIDI specification allows for 128 different CC's: CC0 to CC127. Some are typically "preallocated" to 'standard functions: CC1= Modulation, CC7=Volume, CC10+Pan, CC11= 'Expression'. Some act as switches such as 'Sustain' CC64.

Mainstage works with MIDI CC's generally in a number of ways:
Some standard ones are automatically passed through to all MIDI/Instrument channels unless you specifically block them. Others are not passed through unless you specifically map them to something.

Yes.
It sounds to me like you have an issue where you have several hardware controls on your Keyboard set up to transmit the same MIDI CC. This is probably not a good idea, and it would be much better if you assigned them to transmit different CC messages (CC1 for Modulation and probably CC11 for the Expression (though you may want to set the pedal to some other number instead.
Once you are transmitting different CC messages, you will be able to Assign and Map much more flexibly:
for example, you could one to control the overall output volume at Concert Level in MS, whilst the other controls the volume of a specific channel within a Patch.
Your issue of layered patches is one of "Scaling": one Screen Control (assigned to an incoming MIDI CC message) needs to alter the ranges of different channel strips to different amounts. You can set this up by using multiple mappings for one Control, each set to work over a particular range (for example a goes from -20 to 0 whilst b goes from -30 to -20 etc.).

Those pixel dimemsions have aspect ratios that are not the same as a 5 x7 print:
1360 x 1360 = 1.0
790 x 640 = 1.23
2048 x 1366 = 1.5
An 7 x 5 image = 1.4.
So you'll need to crop the images to 5 x 7 before printing. The first two images are a little light in the pixels to produce a high resolution 5 x 7 print.

Can't get HD video to upload to computer correctly from canon HF20

I recently bought a canon hf20 from Best Buy. I have had it a couple weeks and just got around to uploading some videos to the computer and youtube. I have tried everything I can think of and I can get the videos to upload to my computer but they are extremely distorted and jump and skip. I am using the software the camera came with. What sould I do to get my videos to save and play correctly on my computer? The computer is a HP Pavillion dv9500. Also, why doesnt this camera have a firewire?

1) AVCHD is brutal in regards to system requirements for playback. I can't remember whether the GeForce Go 8600M GS (supposedly what is in the dv9500) has MPEG-4 AVC acceleration capability - about half the 8000 series had it and the other half doesn't IIRC. You may need an upgraded computer (or possibly try the CoreAVC playback codec) to be able to playback video in realtime. Another option is to take the videos and transcode them to a lower resolution for playback and editing using Handbrake (Google it...)
Once you have the playback problem solved, getting videos from camera to computer is pretty much "drag and drop".
2) Only miniDV/HDV (tape-based) camcorders need firewire, as USB is unsuited to "realtime" applications (such as capturing as the tape plays back). With flash memory and hard drive camcorders, USB is the better solution.

How can I get my custom PS workflows to run correctly when I Retry them after a failure?

I have some custom PowerShell workflows in place that monitor for status changes to various work items and add Action Log entries as required. As an example one of these workflows monitors for newly created Service Requests and creates an Action Log entry

We currently are experiencing the bug (#5) noted
here which prompted me to take a look at re-running any failed workflows to continue other tasks.
The problem is though that hitting Retry for the workflow doesn't actually submit the workflow request correctly. As far as I can tell it
is running again (it pops in a new entry in the Workflow status list), but no changes are made to the Action Log and nothing is associated with the Work Item.
I think what is happening is the $SRIDInput variable is not populated on the Retry or perhaps has odd data, which would let the script run but not actually do anything (the filter would return no results), I'm going to add a step into the
script to check if $SRIDInput is empty and fail if that's the case, I'll also write the variable to a log file before anything else happens, that should tell me pretty quick.
I wanted to know if anyone else has had trouble using Retry on custom PS workflows? Any tips? Anything obvious I am missing?
Update: After writing this I'm not sure it would actually fail silently with no valid input as theoretically the New-SCSMObjectProjection cmdlet wouldn't have anything to apply to, I'll update the script anyway and see what happens.

What does the error details show? Retrying a workflow that fails rarely works the second time around.

How can I get my Canon i860 to print scale correctly?

The preview looks ok but if I print a page at 100% not all the info gets printed.

Your question is somewhat vague, but if you are not printing the edges of documents, then you probably are using the default "Any Printer" in Page Setup..., rather than Canon i860. The Any Printer option probably has smaller margins than your printer. Once you have made the change, you will probably want to save it as default in the Page Setup... dialog, which you can do in the pop-up menu for Page Attributes.

Can't get my x-y plot to work correctly

I have followed the x-y example in the example finder and think i've done everything correctly but all i get when i run my RT vi is a vertical line jumping up and down as the x and y values change. I would like to have a decent x-y plot like the example shows. Attached is the portion of the code i wrote. The portion resides in a while loop. Also, the data wired to the bundle have been manipulated (i.e. i applied a formula to the raw signals i get from my encoder and pressure sensor (so i'm trying to get actual pressure vs crank angle). Can someone let me know what the possible issues could be? Thanks.

Can't get wife's phone contacts to sync correctly... to anything/anywhere

I previously set up my 3GS phone to sync contacts with Google in iTunes, and then later set up my Gmail as an exchange account on my phone with contacts set to sync. After some working and deleting of duplicates, etc. I finally got it working like it should.
Now I tried to set iTunes to sync contacts on my wife's 3GS with her Gmail account, but somehow it switched to Windows Address Book and she ended up with my phone's contacts on her phone in addition to her contacts. So I tried again to sync with her Google account. It asked me if I wanted to Merge or Replace the contacts on the phone. I selected Merge, and when it was done she had her Gmail contacts (email only, no numbers) on her phone, and all her phone contacts were gone. They were also not in Gmail. Luckily they were on her SIM card so I was able to get them back on the phone.
It seems like no matter what I do, she either ends up with no phone contacts on her phone, or has both hers and mine, or some combination thereof, but I can't ever seem to get her phone contacts to propagate elsewhere. What am I doing wrong?

i was facing the same problem and i did exactly the same steps u did but with some changes and it work:
     1) removing iCloud account
     2) removing my exchnage account and re creating it.
     3)* using only the username befor the "@"
     4) having SSL off
     5) Reseting network settings
     6) Both in wifi and 3gs.
     7)* have the "mail Days to sync" -> "No limit"
     8)* i have installed a profile confegration from http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3398 i dont know if it was really efficting the           processs since it was mad for exchange problems in ios 4.

Can't get the Quiz Total to be the correct Value

I've searched and I can't find, so I'm hoping someone has a suggestion.
I have a software simulation assessment that I cannot score properly.
Here's the situation.
There are five slides.
Slide 1 - Application's review page
Slide 2 - First Wizard page
Slide 3 - Second Wizard page
Slide 4 - Third Wizard page
Slide 5 - Confirmation page
The user needs to get from Slide 1 to Slide 5.
There are two routes from Slide 1 - click a button to go directly to Slide 5, or click the Next buttons on slides 1-4. Both ways are completely correct, and should be scored as correct answers.
I have click boxes set up with the following scores.
Slide 1
Click box that jumps directly to Slide 5, scores 12 points
Click box that goes to Slide 2, scores 3 points
Slides 2-4
Click boxes that go to the next slides, score 3 points each
You can probably see the problem. My total score is coming out to be 24 points. But it should be 12.
Is there a way to get the total possible points to be 12, while still scoring the either/or situation I have here?

I am generating a Frame using Swing API. My requirement is I need to capture the mouse pressed and mouse released positions, whenever user drags the mouse on desktop region (i.e. outside of the Frame). I require these points to find the rectangle region user has generated starting from mouse pressed to mouse released position. I need to pass that rectangle to Robot class in order to capture that desktop region.
Can anybody help me out how can I achieve this using java on MAC, Linux and Windows platforms?

I had trouble with a migrated DB (7.3.4 -> 9.2.04) why all important TRIGGER did not fire (Business Rules).
I could see all TRIGGERS WAS VALID with:

This is a production DB and I must:
- simulate this state - HOW can I do it ?
- HOW can I select this TRIGGER STATE in my PRODUCTION
system to re-compile this triggers ???
I must prevent this state on triggers before the user writes data from Forms to the Database:

Are you sure the triggers have been correctly imported? That they have been imported in the right user schema?
I remember having some problems with triggers when importing in an Oracle 8.0.5 database: the triggers got to be on tables in another schema.
And are they enabled?
Check the sys.all_triggers view:
select * from all_triggers where owner = &my_schema
and see the status column if it is "ENABLED".

How can I get a clip in a fixed position?

Dear people,
i have a question for you. I am making a video clip. In the clip I use a lot of short clips of 10 seconds
or less after one another. Transitions, effects, everything is working great. But how do fix a clip on the timeline.
Everytime I change the lenght of one of the short clips, all the other clips are moving out of their position.
I hope there is a solution, otherwise i have a huge problem. Heeelp!

Here You meet the border of Amateurism and Professionalism.
This can not be done (with any form of ease) in any version of iMovie.
BUT - this is a standard way of working in FinalCut up to version Express 4 or pro 7
(What can or can't be done in FCP-X still is a mystery to me)
So either - document every clip on a number of frame basis in iMovie up to HD6 and do this very carefully and tedious labor.
Or try to find a second hand version of any previous version of FinalCut.
iMovie'08 or 09 or 11 - I'm not sure that one can document each clip at frame exact notification. May be ?
And of course one can do this in QuickTime Pro - BUT then at a need of an even higher level of carefulness and skill.

I purchased the adobe photoshop/premier elements 10 - upon installation, I ran into numerous errors. So, I went out and "tried" to fix it by downloading the "fix." This too would not let me properly install my new software. I then read online that I could download the "trial" version and then later submit my serial number from the purchased product to convert it over from a trial version to the purchased version. I cannot add my original serial number. Very frustrated, any ideas on how to get this to work?????????????

You should be given the option to Purchase the software when you launch it. If you choose this option you will be given the opportunity to enter your serial number.
