Can't get printer to connect to laptop
I have a Toshiba laptop running Vista and a HP C5180 printer. I've had the laptop connected to the printer wirelessly previously and it won't connect any longer. I have a comcast xfinity wireless gateway modem that is about a year old. I don't know what other information you need from me to help.

I will suggest that you download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor and follow the instructions it suggests for you.

I have an HP Photosmart 5512 all-in-one printer and I"m trying to get it to connnect to my computers in my home. I have a HP 2000 laptop running windows 7. I have tried all the trouble shooting software the company provides, I have unplugged and waited on router and printer. I uninstalled and reinstalled software on computer and printer. I have tried everything the company site has to offer to get this printer connected. I have even called the customer support and they won't help me even though I"m using their products, because its been a couple of years. Hi alBorderp, welcome to the HP Forums. Your Deskjet 2540 is supported to work with the 'HP All-in-One Printer Remote' app. First you would need to get the printer installed wirelessly on your home router, or using Wireless Direct. Step one of this document shows you how to enable Wireless Direct if you wish to just communicate directly to the printer from your Tablet: Printing from an Apple or Android Mobile Device with HP Wireless Direct
Once your printer is available Wirelessly, you can install the 'HP All-in-One Printer Remote' app. After it is installed, you can tell your tablet to connect to the same network that the printer is on. If you are on your home router, make sure the tablet connects to the 2.4ghz network, as the printer cannot connect to the 5.0ghz network.

Can't get printer to connect to my samsung galaxy tab 10.1.
Hp photosmart premium C410A Windows 7 64- Bit won't print. after installing app from the market it still wont print. wondering is there another app that I need for this to work? oh yes trying to connect with my samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet. any ideas?

When I try to connect my printer to my desktop the installaition fails due to it not finding the driver software. after a phone call with customer service I was told it is an issue with my computer and not my printwer because I was able to connect my printer to a laptop throuch wireless. please help.

Let's start with some of the basics. Please post back with the answers to the following questions and we will proceed from there;
What printer model do you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Is the printer connected wirelessly or with a USB cable?
Is the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or a surge protector? (It is best to connect directly to the wall)
Do you have any other HP Printers installed on this computer? If so, do you still have the printers?
Is this an HP laptop or a different brand?
What operating system, and version do you have? Mac or Windows?

I'm staying at my house in Peru, South America. From my PC laptop I can see my neighbor's wifi service network, but I also have my mini iPad and I can not figure out why I can't get any wifi connection from my area. Is there a setting I need to do?
Yes, I did try to go on my settings>wifi and was waiting for any wifi signals to pick up, but nothing shows up. But on my PC I get a whole list of networks to choose from. Regarding my neighbor, I already have her password that is why I was able to get it on my PC, the problem is that the mini Ipad is not picking any signal neither can it locate me when I go to maps.

On the printer: Setup > Network > Restore Defaults. From the same Network menu, run the Wireless Setup Wizard.

Bought New Extreme, works great with Macs but can't get PC to connect
I just bought a new Airport Extreme this weekend. As promised it was a breeze to set up and things were working well until I tried to connect my TIVO and my work laptop (Windows) to the network I set up. I can't get either to connect to either the base network or the guest network with any level of security set on it. My only success has been to configure the Guest Network without security on it (but I don't like that idea).
Please help.I don't see "Equivalent Network Password" as a selection on the Base Network screen (or any of them for that matter).
Isn't this the password for my base station and not the wireless network? Maybe that is my problem. I am trying to connect to the network and not the Base Station? I am getting confused. What I really need to do is connect my work laptop (Windows based machine) and my TIVO to the wireless network I've created (Radio Mode selected to Automatic, Channel Selection to Automatic, Security set to WPA/WPA2 Personal). -

I just brought my IPad home but can't get it to connect to my MIFI. The MIFI is on and working as it's sending a signal to my IMac. How do I get it to recognize the MIFI so I can go online with my IPad?

Bought a new Ipod touch and the WiFi does not connect. Tried Reset and total Restore, does not connect to Router on DHCP, tried Static IP, Subnet, Router and DNS manually and still can not get it to connect even though it registers as connected. Using Airport for router, latest firmware, no problems with Iphone 4 or Macbook Pro or any other internet devices. After total Restore (factory settings) tried again, showed connected to router, but does not display "check" next to router but little rotating icon even though the wifi range signal shows connected at full strength and it says it is connected. Just can't seem to get it to generate an IP. Any solutions other than turning it on and off again? Not a Merry Christmas morning.
Ok, so, a couple of things: Denisefromwaleska and I have the exact same size/type/color iPod. Now wishing I'd bought the black one maybe...
Second, Airport is an Express and I have a second one that I carry with me when I travel. Tried to connect my Airport Express to the internet and could not although the iPod did recognize the router and tried to connect to the internet for some time, unlike my previous problem. Updated firmware on my travel router, still could not connect to the internet. Going to try to set up a manual Static IP on the travel router here in a few and conect through it although I predict the problem will persist. Back on the Christmas Present Airport Express router, it is back in play and working fine for all devices save the iPod.

There is no such PowerShell command can achiev this. Maybe you can use a script to get the user name with folder redirection enabled. However, I am not familiar with writing script, and it would be better for you to ask in script forum below for professional
