Can't install FaceTime
It shows in the App Store an active install button for face time. I am running mavericks on a 27 in iMac. When I click the button I get an error window saying the OS is too new for face time
Are you sure you don't already have that app? Mavericks should come with it. The version in the Mac App Store is for older OSes that doesn't come with FaceTime. I would look into the Applications folder or perform a search.

How can I install FaceTime on my ipad2
I have bought the ipad2 from dubai and now I'm stuck with a devise which costs more than what it does in US, but sadly comes loaded without FaceTime. Can anyone tell me how to install FaceTime on my machine.
If you bought the device in Dubai then you can't install it due to restrictions by the Dubai government. It is blocked, I believe, by the serial number and so it can't be installed by iOS updates either.

You can't download FaceTime. It is a preinstalled app. If you live an a country where it is restricted - that is why you do not have the app on the iPad.

Ive upgraded to the OSX Lion, and i uninstall the facetime.
Then I go to the AppStore to get it back, when I choose FaceTime and click INSTALL,

You can't install FaceTime. For iPads bought in the UAE and Saudi Arabia (and possibly a few other countries) it is blocked by the device's serial number due to restrictions by those countries governments and it can't be installed, including by iOS updates.

notes : on snow leopard the face time was work normally but i delete it the app i thought it will work after i reinstall itLion comes with FaceTime. Look in your dock or in the Applications folder.

It's too late for to realize that what I bought from Apple UAE does not have installed FaceTime application. Since I am already now in my home country Philippines, Could I possibly download it (FaceTime) here in my present location Philippines?FaceTime was by demand of the UAE government blocked in the iPad's hardware. As stedman said, there's no way you can activate FaceTime now.

i installed facetime for my mac and now when i make a call it goes through i can see and hear them perfectly but they cannot, i am "frozen" so how do i fix this?
When I try to make a call it will go through and I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me, is there a setting that disables the speaker when using the headphones to try to make a call, also speakerphone automatically goes on when I start a call which I do not like, any suggestions how to fix this?

It could also be disabled based off the iTunes account you are using. When you register for iTunes account it asks for your Country to verify certain copy right laws, restrictions, etc. It may be disabled because of that but if the iPad itself is blocked because of the serial number registered as sold in the UAE or anywhere, it may not work.
