Can't open creative cloud

Hi - I am trying to login to creative cloud from my computer, but when I launch the icon from the applications folder, nothing happens. I am able to open the applications, but need to access Type Kit and cannot.
Any suggestions?

    It's worked fine until yesteday. Initially it only opened the white window and I followed many suggestions on this forum, renamed OOEB, used CC Cleaner, reinstalled, deleted opm.db.     I have just been chatting with Adobe and I have resolved the situation on my computer.
    Open up Run and enter %localappdata%/adobe/ and hit ok. Delete OOBE and AAMupdater folders.
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and delete OOBE and Adobeapplicationmanager folders. If another program is not allowing you to delete open up task manager and end these processes AAM updater, AAM notifier, Adobe crash demon, CEF helper, IPC broker, Coresync then try deleting.
    Now go to the location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe and delete the Adobe Creative Cloud folder. If you cannot delete, try renaming the folder to Adobe Creative Cloud2.
    Now download the Application Manager from here Adobe - Adobe Application Manager
    Install it and let it do its updates. Once it is done the Creative Cloud program window should open.
    Hopefully it works for you.

  • I can't open Creative Cloud at all, so I uninstalled it and re-installed it and now it's giving me an error Code 201

    I've tried everything I can think of on the Internet, nothing is working. I have Photoshop on my computer and it's working just fine but everything else Adobe related it seems is not opening or downloading

  • Can I open creative cloud app without an internet connection ?

    I Need to get work edits made to Photoshop and illustrator documents and they won't open as my internet connection is down all day today. Is there a workaround ?

    No. Your Creative Cloud desktop applications (such as Photoshop and Illustrator) are installed directly on your computer, so you won’t need an ongoing Internet connection to use them on a daily basis.
    An internet connection is required the first time you install and license your desktop apps, but you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license.
    The desktop apps will attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days, but for annual members, you can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode.
    Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode.

  • I can't update creative cloud

    I can't open Creative Cloud.
    I log in and it tells me there is a new version of creative cloud. I click on update and it just shuts down creative cloud.
    I re-open creative cloud and it asks for a proxy password. I don't know what this means. I just try logging in using my Adobe login and it then asks me to log in using my Adobe login. Then it shuts down saying there is Update to creative cloud available on my bottom task bar. I click on that icon and it just tells me again that there is an update available.
    Nothing is happening...
    I am on a network and I have tried logging into just my computer but the same thing is happening.

    Delete opm.db from the location given below(Please close the CC Desktop App before these steps).
    For Mac:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db. Launch CCD and try to sign in.
    Enable hidden user Library: Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later.
    For Windows:
    [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

    Please try the following steps:
    Windows:
    Please go to C:\Users\(your own user)\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE and rename opm.db file.
    MAC:
    /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename opm.db
    Once you do that then it should ask you to sign in using a different e-mail address.

    So every time I try to open creative cloud installer (on my mac) it comes up with a notice saying "administrator priveleges are required to continue with the installation" but I am the administrator so I don't understand what it means! Can anyone help me please??

    on a PC you can right click the desktop icon
    and choose Run as Administrator
    It tends to be an esential step wit Windows 8
    Does the Mac have something like that?
    [EDIT]  I'll add to that that it often saves time and frustration if you restart your computer before trying again after a failed installation or update.

    Make sure you don't have any "old" activations.  Recently, I had to reimage my work laptop and it wouldn't activate because I already had 2 active machines.  I think you can deactivate machines from the account profile page on the Adobe website.  Other issue is make sure that both machines meet the minimum requirements.  The site says it is 10.7+.

    No, you dont have to uninstall Creative cloud from the other machine. You can use your Adobe ID to download and install the software on the other machine. Please ensure that you don't use both machine at the same time.
