Ok, I finally found it.....
Oracle Database Lite Administration and Deployment Guide Release 10.3 (E12089-02)
7.4.3.1 Enable a Platform for Your Mobile Client
Not all of the possible platforms are enabled on the Mobile client setup screen. To enable a platform for your client device, do the following:
On the Mobile Devices screen, click Platforms.
On the Platforms screen in the Search pulldowns, select the language and either Disabled or All and click Go.
Select the platform name that you want to enable.
Enable the device by selecting Yes in the Enable pulldown.
Click OK. The device is now enabled and will be visible in the client setup screen.
=====================================================================
I was on the Platform screen before, but missed the "Enabled" setting under Search.  I looked at the screen and saw only the enabled list, and assumed this was 'all' of the platforms....
Once I switched the search setting from "Enabled" to "All" I saw my disabled SQLite options.
7.4.3.1 was under 7.4.3 Extend or Create a Custom Platform.  Wasn't trying to do either of these, so never looked under there before.  Only ran into it when I was going to attempt to create a custom SQLite platform.
I thought it was just a bad setting somewhere....  Just couldn't find where....
Thanks for all who looked at my question and userBDBDMS-Oracle for trying to help.

  • Packaging in oracle lite webtogo 5.0.0..urgen

    I want to use webtogo for my application to work online/offline..
    i am trying to use the packaging wizard for publishing all the objects to the
    mobile server.
    i have succeeded in publishing all my jsp's, servlets, beans and tables and
    sequences and views and indexes onto the mobile server using the respective
    panels in the packaging wizard.
    But i have some stored procedures also which are used by my application. if my
    application has to work offline, i think all these stored procs also have to be
    available in the offline mode. How can i publish these java stored procedures..
    thanks a lot.

    9ilite is not like your normal database, it basically rides ontop of another database like 8.1.7 enterprise. The lsnrctl you need to start is for the database that you install 9ilite into.
    ie - to get it all running:
    set oracle home to your main db
    start listener
    set oracle home to your 9ilite home
    start 9ilite processes as required.

  • Administer defrag remotely for Oracle lite client database?

    Hi all,
    My client has installed Oracle Lite version 10.3.0.3. Oracle Lite Database file (ODB) tends to grow too large. Oracle recommends resizing the Oracle Lite database by running Defrag.exe tool. But it has to be installed manually on each handheld device. Does anyone know how to administer Defrag.exe remotely from Oracle Lite Server or can it be done in another way?
    Thanks.

  • Error when installing Oracle Lite for Mobile Field Service Laptop

    Hi,
    I am facing a strange problem when installing Mobile Field Service Laptop agent "Oracle Lite" on my laptop.
    When I run the setup, it asks me username and password, after entering the information, when I proceed, I see setup window which displays below messages
    "Authenticating with server... "
    Please wait. This may take several minutes ...
    Then it hangs for several minutes, approx 5 to 10 mins, and then gives message
    "Could not connect to server: HTTP/1.0 502 Bad Gateway"
    I am not able to proceed with setup.
    But none of my other colleagues are facing this issue, even though the network, proxy settings and java version are same.
    Any idea about this error?
    Regards,
    Mohammed

  • How can I add a patch to an existing package?

    I really want to add a patch to Archlinux klibc package.
    http://git.debian.org/?p=kernel/klibc.g … 571d2c979d
    http://repos.archlinux.org/viewvc.cgi/k … core-i686/
    But the more I read about contributing, the more confusing it gets. Wiki first page would take me to AUR, but it looks like AUR is only for adding new packages. So I find out about ABS which is for creating a custom package, but what steps to take to get the changed package to replace the existing? And should I actually be doing it this way? Maybe there are tools to introduce git patches automatically? I really don't understand...
    I realize this is a newbie problem, but the wiki organization is confusing to me, so if anyone would provide links to answer my questions I'd be very happy.

    edgg wrote:what steps to take to get the changed package to replace the existing? And should I actually be doing it this way?
    ABS is exactly how you want to do this.
    * install and run abs as described in the wiki page
    * copy the files in /var/abs/core/klibc to your build directory (I have a builds directory in my home directory)
    * edit the PKGBUILD to add your patch (man PKGBUILD will help here)
    * make the package with makepkg (there is a wiki page for makepkg)
    * use pacman to install it:  pacman -U klibc-blahblah.pkg.tar.gz
    The process is shockingly easy.  And the great thing is that, since you've installed the package with pacman, you can use pacman to remove it if you change your mind.  There is also a way to keep pacman from upgrading it when you do pacman -Syu (see pacman.conf).
    The process is also described here:  http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ABS … he_ABS_way

    Issue 2: I'm trying to deploy a couple of Packages/Applications using SCCM 2012 R2 running on Win2K8 R2 with no luck, knowing that I could install the packages
    on a test VM “in the DataCenter site”, but when trying to deploy the packages to production PC “in the Office Site”,
     the status is packages deployment compliance stuck at 0%
    Infrastructure:
    3 SCCM servers: CAS, PRI & SEC. Both CAS and PRI are in the DataCenter site, and SEC is in the Office site. The office site has several IP subnets.
    Boundaries are configured through Forest Discovery “IP Ranges and AD Sites” since that the AD site should contain all the IP subnets that the AD site contains, Boundaries groups are also configured and a site reference
    server is configured for each group respectively.
    A OU based Collection has been configured that contains 13 PC "the collection contains the PCs that the packages should be installed.
    Packages/Applications are configured correctly since that I could successfully deploy the packages to the test VM which is on the same subnet as the CAS and the PRI servers "the DataCenter subnet". The issue
    is that I can't deploy the packages to production PCs in the Office subnet!
    Firewall rules are configured and applied via GP, and I even turned Windows Firewall off, and still nothing! I tried to manually initiate Computer Policy download via the SCCM GUI and via a script, still no luck!
    I tried configuring IP Subnet Boundaries, still no luck!!

  • Nokia mobile VPN Client - split tunneling

    Hi
    I'm trying to get Nokia mobile CPN Client working with split tunneling on a Cisco firewall.
    I have full access to all on my internal lan's when I make the VPN tunnel, so tunnel is up and working.
    But I do not have access to anything in the internet, it tries to route internet requests through the VPN. I have set split tunneling on the Cisco firewall and it is working as intended on all other devices.
    Any ideas of what I have missed?
    My policy is based on the bundled Cisco_ASA_pskxauth.pol from the Nokia mobile VPN Client Policy Tool.

    Both errors are certificate related. Is there anything special about your configuration such as special ACLs on the certificate store or FIPS compliance mode (see
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811833) being enabled?
    Nothing special with certificates; I've used the basic stuff for intranet management of clients.
    The only related thing I can think of that may have affected this, is that I discovered earlier today that my MP installation got hosed (error 500) due to a broken client install on the site server itself. I uninstalled the client manually and the server
    (as indicated by the component status views) appears to have repaired the MP install. Perhaps it didn't repair it completely? Would a site reset do me any good?

  • Can we declare a Cursor in Package Specs?

    Dear buddies
    Can I Declare a Cursor in Package Specs so that I can call that cursor and use its data in some procedures and functions of package. Otherwise I've to write that cursor for every sub-program of a package which I don't feel a smart way to accomplish the job.

    Hi,
    here is a short example with the whole way down. Maybe the concept is getting clearer with this:
    first of all, if you do not have the table emp, here the DDL for this example.
    Be carefull, works only for german clients because of the names of months, sorry for that.
    CREATE TABLE EMP
    (EMPNO NUMBER(4) NOT NULL,
    ENAME VARCHAR2(10),
    JOB VARCHAR2(9),
    MGR NUMBER(4),
    HIREDATE DATE,
    SAL NUMBER(7, 2),
    COMM NUMBER(7, 2),
    DEPTNO NUMBER(2));
    set echo on
    INSERT INTO EMP VALUES

  • Help:How can I run the J2EE Client Application? Thanks

    Help:How can I run the J2EE Client Application that will access the remote J2EE1.4 application server which runs on another host computer?
    I have developped a stateles senterprise java bean name converter and deloyed it in the j2ee1.4 application server on the host machine A. The converterbean provides the remote home interface and remote interface. At the same time I have developped the j2ee application client named convertappclient. When I access the conveter bean at host computer A through the script 'appclient.bat' as 'appclient -client convertappclient.jar', the client can access the bean sucessfully. Now I want to access the bean through the script 'appclient.bat' at host computer B,what files should I copy from host computer A to host computer B;and what the command line should be like? Thanks!
    The following are the code of the enterprise java bean and it's home interface .
    The client code is also provided.
    The enterprise java bean:
    package converter;
    import java.rmi.RemoteException;
    import javax.ejb.SessionBean;
    import javax.ejb.SessionContext;
    import java.math.*;
    public class ConverterBean implements SessionBean {
    BigDecimal yenRate = new BigDecimal("121.6000");
    BigDecimal euroRate = new BigDecimal("0.0077");
    public ConverterBean() {
    public BigDecimal dollarToYen(BigDecimal dollars) {
    BigDecimal result = dollars.multiply(yenRate);
    return result.setScale(2, BigDecimal.ROUND_UP);
    public BigDecimal yenToEuro(BigDecimal yen) {
    BigDecimal result = yen.multiply(euroRate);
    return result.setScale(2, BigDecimal.ROUND_UP);
    public void ejbCreate() {
    public void ejbRemove() {
    public void ejbActivate() {
    public void ejbPassivate() {
    public void setSessionContext(SessionContext sc) {
    The bean's remote home interface :
    package converter;
    import java.rmi.RemoteException;
    import javax.ejb.CreateException;
    import javax.ejb.EJBHome;
    public interface ConverterHome extends EJBHome {
    Converter create() throws RemoteException, CreateException;
    The bean's remote interface:
    package converter;
    import javax.ejb.EJBObject;
    import java.rmi.RemoteException;
    import java.math.*;
    public interface Converter extends EJBObject {
    public BigDecimal dollarToYen(BigDecimal dollars) throws RemoteException;
    public BigDecimal yenToEuro(BigDecimal yen) throws RemoteException;
    The j2ee application client:
    import converter.Converter;
    import converter.ConverterHome;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    import javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject;
    import java.math.BigDecimal;
    public class ConverterClient {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    try {
    Context initial = new InitialContext();
    System.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial","org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory");
                   System.setProperty("java.naming.provider.url","jnp://10.144.97.250:3700");
    Context myEnv = (Context) initial.lookup("java:comp/env");

    System.out.println(amount);
    System.exit(0);
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    System.err.println("Caught an unexpected exception!");

  • Error: "Mobile java client attributes not maintained" while activating DO

    Hi All,
    i got error while activating the Data Object: "Mobile java client attributes not maintained".
    how to resolve this error, and why this error is coming?
    I am migrating the MI 2.5 application into the MI 7.1 application.In new MI 7.1 application some synbo's are imported using the text file and some new data objects are created. Imported synbo's are activated successfully, but newly created objects are not activated because of the above error.
    Can we solve above error or is there any restriction that in Migration project ( project with backward compatibility ) we can't create new Data objects?
    Thanks & Regards

  • With out portal server can we enable mobile mail?

    for example i using only messaging server,is it possible to enable mobile mail?
    if iam using portal ,i can use MAP to enable mobile mail,but with out using portal how can i enable mobile mail?
    plz give me the sugg.
    thanx

    If you're using a fully-capable web browser, why would you need a gateway? Just hit the webmail url, and you're done.
    If you would rather use a "fat" client, Messaging is fully capable of responding to any client that talks IMAP or POP. No gateway needed.
