Can't run Release configuration

Hi everyone,
I can run Debug configuration of my application for Mac OS X, but when I try to run Release configuration Xcode writes "The program being debugged i not being run".
I checked project settings several times. The file exists. XCode 6.2.4.
Can anyone help?

Can I run Release Candidate (19.02), Beta, Nightly, Aurora and ESR versions on the same computer?

I know I can run the Beta and Nightly together on the same computer because they are installed in different directories. What I do then is that I have a Profile for each version. What I do is I run FireFox.exe -ProfileManager when I start either the Beta and Nightly builds.
My Question is can I also install the Aurora, Release Candidate and ESR versions on the same computer like I do with the Beta and Nightly? If so, how do I go about installing them in different directories? I will create new profiles for each version. What I then do is, copy everything in my original Profile to the newly create profiles so I can keep all my plugin/addons, themes, bookmarks, etc. the same.
Next question, (I think I know the answer but I just want to make sure) now can I sync my bookmarks from each of the different profiles that I created?
Secondly, I now I can do the ABOUT:CONFIG in the address bar of Firefox, does anyone have any idea where I can read up on what each entry means? Also, are there any other secrets in Firefox, similar to the ABOUT:CONFIG trick? I know of one app where you can do ABOUT:ME, but that's all I know.
I know this has been asked billions of times, but I also have to ask. Is there any chance at all that Firefox, Thunderbird, and/or Seamonkey will be ever release for the iOS from Apple? I know that it's impossible, but maybe someone MIGHT have some positive thoughts on this?
Lastly, I know this is off topic, but I'll give it a shot. I'm using Outlook 2013, does anyone know if Outlook can handle Newsgroups? The reason why I ask is because I've just learned that there are a ton of newsgroups for Firefox, ThunderBird, and SeaMonkey. I would like to, somehow, get those Newsgroups in Outlook 2013. I already get allot of the feeds for other things, so that's not a problem.

You can consider to use Firefox Sync to sync all the profiles.
You can do a custom install of each version and install each version in its own program folder.<br />
Safest is to modify the desktop shortcut and add -P "profile name" to the command line to start each version with its own profile.<br />
Be careful with clicking a file in Windows Explorer to open the default browser, so make sure to select the correct profile in the profile manager and check the don't ask setting.

Can't run Domain Configuration Wizard in GUI mode

I work on a Java development team where each developer has a local WebLogic 10.3.2 server for Windows x86 installed. A small handful of these developers are unable to run the Domain Configuration Wizard (i.e. <WLS_HOME>\common\bin\config.cmd) in GUI mode. When they start it the splash screen will appear briefly and then disappear with nothing more to see. The majority of the developers have no problem with this. Where should I start looking to identify the possible causes for this problem?

I will suggest following:
1) instead of clicking on config.cmd in windows browser; run config.cmd at command prompt. You can see error there
2) check version of java, and if it is certified.
3) as an alternate you can start the installer in console mode using 'config.cmd -mode=console'

Can't run Net8 Configuration Assistant & DBCA

- Net8 Configuration Assistan;
- Oracle Database Configuration Assistant.
The error is the same (JAVA - class not found):
After few debuging I see that the error reason is the
following:
"can't find resource for oracle.net.ca.mesg.NetCASR_en"
When I open the jar file:
$ORACLE_HOME/product/8.1.5/network/jlib/netca.jar
I see that the class oracle.net.ca.mesg.NetCASR_en is
missing. There are:
oracle.net.ca.mesg.NetCASR_de.class
oracle.net.ca.mesg.NetCASR_es.class
oracle.net.ca.mesg.NetCASR_fr.class
oracle.net.ca.mesg.NetCASR_ja.class

It is very strange that there are many languages except

How can I run a packet sniffer on a Router or Switch

I have on my network several router 1700 series and switches Catalyst 2950 and I want to know how can I run ethereal on those babies to monitore what comes and goes

The two most common methods would be (the old way) insert a hub (not a switch) in-line between the devices withthe traffic you wish to monitor or (the new way, for Cisco anyway) using port mirrroring.
A hub (not a switch) will repeat every pulse that passes on the line to the analyzer.
Since finding a new hub these days is virtually impossible (even some of the things sold as hubs are really switches), the more common way, at least in Cisco environments, is to "SPAN" (aka Port Mirroring) the port of the device whose traffic you'd like to monitor.

I'm experiencing a frustration problem. I can't run two adobe programs a the same time - ie, Lightroom and photoshop, After effects and photoshop, flash CS4 and after effects etc
Running final release of windows 7 64 bit, licenced PS3, trial AE, trial PS4....8GB Ram, has been with both Nvidia and ATI video cards, open GL on , Open GL off, seperate scratch disks, reinstalled everything,
Any help, advice, hints would be really appreciated as having to close programs all the time when switching apps is a real pain in the neck

Can't run non-UNICODE-DbSl against UNICODE database

Hi everyone. I get this error during the update of Solution Manager 7.1 SPS4 (dual stack) to SPS10. It is a green install. This happens during the
phase PREP_EXTRACT/PREIMP! Of the ABAP stack. Step 5.2. I do not see a lot of people with this problem, so I assume it is something I am doing wrong, as it is my first time using the tool SUM.
Details of the system:
Solution Manager 7.1 SPS4
Windows 2008 R2 64 bit
Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 64 bit SP1
Central installation type with all components on
the same host
Kernel level 600
Here is what I have done so far:
Downloaded the media as described in the installation
guide.
Worked my way through the install using the
Software Provision Manager 1.0
Updated the Kernel from level 401 to 600, by
copying the files from the download folder to the F:\usr\sap\SM1\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64
folder. This is the folder that is assigned to the DIR_CT_RUN parameter.
I start the STARTUP.BAT file in the SUM folder.
I then start the SUM GUI and run through the
steps and in step 3 I map the Stack configuration file (XML) to one listed in
the folder “51047130\DATA” called “SPS10_stack.xml”
Then I
get to 5.2 where the system stops with this error:

As per error, you have used wrong kernel. Please make sure that you use unicode kernel as your system is also unicode.

Running BI Configuration Wizard

Hi,
I am using Netweaver 04s system with BI JAVA and EP usage types and Spend Analytics installed.
Currently, all the BI configurations have been done and BU has been integrated to EP. The system is released to the users.
I had a check and found the BI configuraiotn wizard is not yet run on the server.
Is it possible to run the BI config wizard now? That after ths system is released and daily operations are running ccan we run config wizard at this point of time? Or we can just run config wizard only after the installation?
And if we run the config wizard now will it not affect the current settings and configurations?
Please suggest.

looks like the configuration has already been made - this would make the running of the BI config wizard unnecessary and also it has restrictions on usage which need to be followed...

Help running ./configure script

Trying to install 3rd party software. Attempting to run ./configure. Terminal keeps saying "No such file or directory." Can anyone provide me a little more info on how to run this script than the reference book I'm using?

the file name is simpson-1.1.2-macosx-intel.tar
I notice that the file has no file name beyond .tar Does this mean I still need to decompress it?
Before I started using Terminal with this file, I (may have) decompressed it just by double clicking on the file. This created a folder and in the folder was a readme document and 3 other folder, one containing documents and the others for the /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib directories.
Here are some of the instuctions given in the INSTALL document (being new to Unix, these instructions arent perfectly clear to me):
Basic Installation

The `configure' shell script attempts to guess correct values for
various system-dependent variables used during compilation. It uses
those values to create a `Makefile' in each directory of the package.
It may also create one or more `.h' files containing system-dependent
definitions. Finally, it creates a shell script `config.status' that

`config.cache' that saves the results of its tests to speed up
reconfiguring, and a file `config.log' containing compiler output

How can I run the report for different input values at the same time?

Reports version: Report Builder 6.0.8.13.1
Oracle version: Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.0.0
I want to run the same report for different input parameter values and spool each o/p to different file and ftp to a server. For this, as a first step, I am spooling different input values in to a file, reading those values through a loop and calling the report for that input values. Each report run/execution is taking 15 minutes. Total report execution is taking approximately 4 hours (assuming 16 different input values) to complete. So I have to wait 4 hours to see ALL outputs.
I would like to run the report parallel for ALL the input values and I should be able to see the ALL outputs with in 15 or 16 minutes.
In my shell script, I added & symbol at the end of the report call to start/run the job in the background. Due to this the control passed to the next step after the report call. At this place I have an ftp command to send the output file to a different server and it is giving error some thing like o/p file is not available/created yet". This is due to the fact that report writer is NOT yet completely started/initiated or it is NOT completed the spooling.
How can I run the report at the same time for all the input values and save the time?

Increase the number of server engines running right now it seems there is only one engine running ,increase it to 4 or 6
and then atleast 4 or 6 reports will run simultaneously.
For FTPing the output add to your sript to check whether it is locked and if not then only try to ftp .
Also for more better functionality read the document (chapter 15 ) for 10g reports for its new fuinctionality.

Can't run a 10.7.4 VMWare VM on MBP with Retina

I have an old 13" Aluminum Macbook and a purchased copy of Lion that I created a VMWare OSX 10.7.4 VM with that I could use for work. I had it running fine on my 13" that runs 10.7.4. I just got a new MBP writh Retina display. It came with 10.7.4 pre-installed. I loaded VMWare, moved my VM over and tried to start it up. I got the login screen, but right after login, I get an error "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. Power off or reset the virtual machine."
I submitted a VMWare ticket and they said this is caused by a mismatch between the OSX10.7.4 builds on the two machines, and that the one on my old macbook is unaware of the ivy bridge architecture on the new Macbook. They said this doesn't normally occur because Apple generally releases one build for all macbooks. As a point of reference, the build on my Retina is 11E2620, while on my 13" it is 11E53.
VMWare said that it should be cleared up once 10.7.5 is released. They had also heard from other clients that they had been successful in talking with Apple and getting a patch for the older Mac that would make it aware of ivy bridge. So I believe I would apply the patch to both the host and guest on the 13" (although I didn't get into that level of detail with the resource).
Anyway, I got Applecare with my retina so I submitted an Apple support ticket and talked to someone at Apple. They checked with their supervisor and basically said they didn't know anything about a patch and if there was one, I would have to get it from VMWare. They did agree that this should be clared up with 10.7.5 but again, pointed it back to VMWare.
So now I have Apple and VMWare pointing fingers at each other, I still have a non-working VM for my new machine (I can still run it on my old machine thankfully) and too much time has been spent on that VM to completely recreate it on the new Macbook. Anyway, not having the VM on my Retina really cuts down the amount I can use it. So if anyone has any more details on how to get this supposed patch, OR if anyone has any detail on when 10.7.5 is likely to be released, please let me know. Thanks,

I can't answer the specific error message, but I can tell you a better way to do what you're asking.

There's no need to use the Finder here at all. 'path to me' is a standard command that doesn't require Finder input.
Secondly, if you're looking for a resource in the application's bundle then you should use 'path to resource' rather than 'path to me' + some hard-coded string.
As a result your first three lines of script could be reduced to:
set CloseBrowsersScriptPOSIXFile to path to resource "closeBrowsers.scpt" in directory "Scripts"
set theResult to run script file CloseBrowsersScriptPOSIXFile with parameters {"uninstaller"}

First I can tell you that the ports have to be the same, be on the the
          same network , i.e. Telnet into the other m/c. Next which you probably
          have done is the properties files. Per-cluster ...

Can I run 2 different domains with same name but on 2 different machines?

I am trying to setup 2 domains with same name (sharedcds1) on 2 different machines (Machine1 and Machine2).
          When I start the weblogic managed server 1 (sharedcds1managedserver1) on Machine2, it throws an error saying it has some conflicts with the managed server 1 running on Machine1. How did the managed server of one machine know about the other server. Can I run 2 different domains with same name but on 2 different machines?

Yes you can. Make sure that domains configured to use different multicast address. WLS uses multicast for communications between nodes in domain.
          although your configuration will work, you could have troubles if you going to execute inter-domain calls between domains/servers with the same names.

I want to install 16 gb ram but I don't think I can change the lack of video card. I wanted this basic machine because it has fairly long battery life. I don't need or want retina at this time. My model is the mid 2012 model. I am running the adobe collection for mac, I want to run the windows versions. Is it possible? What is the most ram I could access using something like fusion 5, assuming I could get fusion 5 to work? would it refuse to run because of the intel chipset and lack of video card?
If I'm wrong and there is a way to add a video card to this model, could some version of fusion and windows 7 access more than 2 gb operating ram?
What cost would I be incurring, and would it be cheaper to buy a windows laptop with more ram than I could access via a virtual machine?
I want to work on a client's work in the windows versions of the creative suite, with occasional usage of after effects for windows, and to use some web plug-ins only available in windows versions, and to try some windows-only video and audio software.

No matter what apple says about wireless, there are decades of legacy work stored on optical discs all over the world, and I don't want to be unable to open something at a client's office because I don't have a dvd drive. Additionally, I have very large files I want to transfer via ethernet or firewire so that the transfer will take less time and be more secure than wifi. I resist apple's trend to make every machine a disposable toy that is viable only a year or so. I have read reviews that label the mbp it a poor value compared to the air. If all you need to do is text and communicate via wifi, many devices will sufice, and an air is certainly the most elegant. But what about the cost of large ssd's and protecting the drive against damage from shock? I want to be able to move this thing around and the small size is much safer inside my padded bag when I sit in narrow airplane seats, crowded trains and other congested spaces. I am much more likely to be able to borrow a large screen in a client's office ( with the use of one of the three adapters I had to buy) than to be able to borrow a dvd drive that has drivers for mac os 10.8.2. I suspect this may be the last generation of machines that have optical drives and ethernet, and that was why I purchased it so that I could continue to do work into the next few years. I am impressed by the retina display, but I need long battery life. And as beautiful as the retina display is, it is even more of a problem when trying to cross platform with the windows world. I wish I could infuence apple to do a trial product flow for a machine designed to work with 80% of the business world that uses windows. How spectacular that would be. With all their expertise and adept hardware design, to create a machine that cross platforms better than a windows machine itself works? Now that would be an accomplishment. Instead of 8 or 9 percent of the total computer sales, why not aim for a higher percentage? Smart devices will keep moving toward portable computers in power, anyway.

Fusion should work on your machine and if you put 16 GB of RAM in (see http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3_160 0MHz_SDRAM), Fusion can access a good portion of that. Also, in a Virtual Machine, the guest OS is presented with Fusion's video card emulation, not what's in hardware on your Mac. Of course, finding Windows 7 now that Win 8 has been released could take some doing and the Win 8 Pro upgrade price is supposed to jump to $200 the end of the month. Add that to the price of Fusion and the extra RAM and you're beginning to get into the realm of low end real PC's.
As to cross platform, I assume you're aware of BootCamp (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1461).

Can you run multiple Excel Services Applications against a single Web Application?

I have been struggling with this one for a while now, hopefully someone can help me understand what I am missing...
I have a single SharePoint Farm. This farm runs multiple Web Applications & the Service Applications.
1. SharePoint Only Server with Multiple Site Collections (http://sharepoint.com/...)
2. MS Project Server with Multiple Site Collections (http://pwa.com/...)
3. My services applications all exist on the same farm.
I was under the impression, and believe that I validated this through testing and from this site (http://blogs.office.com/2009/11/16/excel-services-in-sharepoint-2010-administration-improvements),
that you can only run a single Excel Services Application against each unique Web Application. In essence, I can run one Excel Services Application against the SharePoint Only Server, and another Excel Services Application against the MS Project
Server... However, I can NOT run multiple Excel Services Applications against the different Site Collections within the MS Project Server becuase it is only aware of its "default" Excel Service Application.
ie. I can NOT do the following: ExcelServiceApp1 for
http://pwa.com/SiteA & ExcelServiceApp2 for
http://pwa.com/SiteB
Is that correct?
If that is not correct, then I must be missing a way to specify a different Excel Service App for each Project Web App Site.
Some other solutions that I think may work, but would really appreciate if someone could validate:
- Create multiple Project Server Service Applications for each instance of PWA/Excel Service? (but wouldn't this still have to use one of the two WebApplications and cause the same limitation?)
- Create a new Web Applciation for each PWA/Excel Service? (ie.
http://pwasite1.com;
http://pwasite2.com; http://pwasite3.com, etc.)
Thoughts/suggestions are very greatly appreciated!!!

I have not done what you are doing and I assume that you are using project server 2010. However, you answer lives in PowerShell.
The New-WebServiceProxy show that you can create a new proxy by spacing a URL and not a web application. The default proxy from the web application is directing to the default excel service. If you need another excel service, you must specify another
proxy and this may do it for you.
Also, don't forget the Secure State service and that each excel report will need this configured, that is with the assumption that the other excel service requires different authentication.
