Can we manage service logistics in ERP from Repair Order?

Hi,
We're looking at SAP CRM for the Network Service process integration. Here is short nodes descriptions and its functions outline:
*Front offices (record customer complains and create follow-up Repair Order if needed, then goods should be routed to the Regional Hub)
*Regional Hub (acts as a service router - regional manager have to define the right service provider, i.e. manage Service Arrangement for the Repair order and then initiate delivery to Service Provider)
*Multiply Service Partners (external Service Providers - performs repair and send the item back)
As usual customers and so front office staff want to know where the item is now... but they have no access to ERP (which manage logistics in Regional Hub) and works within CRM interface only, so there is the question:
Can we use RepairOrder to initiate and track movements of the item on its way between different plants (from Front Office to Hub, from Hub to Service Provider and back)?
Is it standard CRM-ERP integration feature or intensive coding will be needed?

1. There is no way to access your Sync data online, it is a closed system. <br />
2. Make sure your other devices are sync'd and get a new SyncKey, which will wipe your data from the Sync server. Then Sync the device that you used to change the SyncKey first, and then the other devices. The "lost" device will no longer be able to use your Sync account with the old SyncKey, it won't be able to decrypt that data any longer.
As far as the data which is on the "lost" device, it can be used as long as the "finder" doesn't attempt to use Sync. There is no way to "wipe" the data which is on that device. A real downside to using Sync with devices which can be easily lost or stolen. About all you can do is to change all your passwords, very quickly after you realize that device is gone. ''(Been there, done that, after "losing" a laptop - but before Sync even came into being.)''

    Tracks that both Alice & Bob want on their iPods have the grouping set to "Alice/Bob"
    etc.
    I currently manage our family's five iPods using this system, each getting a different selection to suit their tastes and the capacity of their iPod. An advantage of using the grouping field is that it is stored in file tags (for non-wav audio files anyway) so that it is relatively easy to recreate the playlists should the iTunes library get trashed. Also useful if you move files about manually as playlist membership is preserved when you delete & re-import the tracks.

    If Apple has not received your phone, obviously it can't even be evaluated for warranty purposes. Have you tried calling AppleCare to verify whether they have received the phone or not?

  • SMB-problem: can see/manage files, but cannot open from Windows 8.1

    I have some files shares on a  Mavericks server (clean install, including OSX Server). I can connect and see the shared files from my Windows clients (both 7 and 8.1). I can even create files, rename them, etc. From Windows 7 i can also open and edit them. So far, so good!
    From Windows 8.1 however, opening does not work: simple text-files and pdf's don't open at all (server cannot execute instruction/file already open), office documents can only be opened in read-only mode.
    In the System log (on OSX Server) are a lot of lines like: smbd[714]: File system does not support 0x0 time attributes (or does not support 0x400000, file attrs).
    Using Windows Power Shell, I figured out that there is a SMB2.1 connection between Windows and OS X, which seems
    to be correct. It appears that OS X judges that Windows is using one or more wrong parameters in an SMB-system call.
    I had lots of SMB-problems using Mountain Lion (Snow Leopard server was fine). I don't want to force my Windows machine to use SMB1 (for all shares) using the commands found in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2696547 (I didn't try yet).
    Any help would be appreciated.

    So I have the exact same issues. I actually called Microsoft Support and they tried a bunch of different things. They even tried disabling SMB 2 and 3 on my Windows 8.1, but then I was unable to connect to my OS X 10.9.1 Server share point at all anymore!
    Here is what I found out. When I start up from my 10.6.8 Server backup on my Macmini Server, and then mapped the network drive on letter G on Windows 8.1 Pro client machine to that very same share point -  worked like a charm. I can read , write and such all fines on that share. All is well. Leaving the Windows 8.1 client alone, on the macmini server I selected the upgraded 10.9.1 Server volume and restarted the Macmini Server. After restart, guess what, I was able to perfectly access the files from Windows 8.1 on the OS X share point which of course was still mapped as drive G on 8.1 from earlier.
    Now here comes the kicker. I went ahead and restarted Windows 8.1 and then everything went haywire! I opened the Windows 8.1 desktop and brought up My Computer. I saw that the mapped drive G is no longer connected (red X). I went ahead and double clicked it and then Windows Explorer simply hug itself and wouldn't come back. I had to force quit explorer and ended up ultimately restarting Windows. After restart I went ahead and disconnected the mapped network drive (G), and then re-mapped it. I authenticated with the very same username and password as before. This time I am able to see all the files once again, but can't open or work with any of them. It is super jinxed. In my opinion there is a severe bug in Apples SMB 2 or smbx or whatever they call it. Why couldn't thy just leave it alone and pay a licensing fee and use Samba? It's just so stupid!!!!
    Apple, you must fix this problem. I will tell the server tech that I have been working with the very same thing. They should have never release 10.9. It was premature and not ready for prime time. It's good to know that there is a work around however. It is super teadious, and spastic, but hey, at least I get it to work. Either it has something to do with authentication, or the way OS X 10.9 responds when mapping a network drive on windows 8.1 pro? No clue.
    Apple does not pay me to Q&A their software. This stuff should simply work! I am ****** off and have wasted now over 3 weeks of my precious time banging my head against the wall with Apple stuff.

  • Problem Creating Service Order SM03 from Repair order RAS type

    While performing "Repair" action in repair order, we are triggering service order type-SM03
    If the return material (serviceable material) is having Individual requirement settings in MRP4 screen, system proposing POP up screen for PO creation-
    This POP up we need to restrict (even though as per present setting it is not effecting our business process)
    This is because the serviceable material is copying as item "0000" in component tab.
    Any inputs?

  • Can I manage sites created by iWeb from a browser like I could w/Homepage?

    If I remember correctly, one could manage the sites published to Homepage from any browser. Can I still do that with sites published by iWeb?
    I publish a lot of photo pages and sometimes I need to make changes to them from work where I use a linux box. I miss that part of Homepage...

    I think I will go to pBase for photo publishing from now on. It's the only other option for a clean uncluttered look for photo hosting. I sure will miss the easy workflow between iPhoto and iWeb though...

  • E531 - Power Managment service - Preventing roaming profile from being saved to server

    I don't know exactly when it started, but I've noticed that all my Lenovo laptop users have not been able to save their roaming profiles to the server since at least September last year (2013).  Their profiles are either empty or have not received any changes.
    They are running a mix of Windows 8 and 8.1 and the problem is affecting E530, E531 and T430's.
    If I disable the "Lenovo PM Service" then the profiles are saved as normal. Re-enabling the service results in the profile not saving again.
    There are no error messages when the users logs out and there are no errors in the Events logs.
    I plan to disable the service on all affected laptops until a proper fix can be identified.

    I have the same issue with T440P. Unfortunately disabling PM also turns off some the Windows 8.1 hot key functionality on this machine. Have you found a fix for this issue yet?

  • Can't activate iPad after getting it from repair. Need help quick!

    I recently broke the screen of my iPad but the hardware was working very well. Today I got it back from the repair service I gave it to (not Apple store), and when I turn on the iPad, it tells me to activate the iPad using my Apple ID, I enter all my info correctly, but it doesn't unlock. Did they give me a wrong iPad, did I get scammed? Please I need help quickly since I will be leaving the town after 3 days. Thanks for any help

    Do you have the serial number of the iPad you purchased & sent in for repair? If so, look on the back/bottom of the iPad to see the serial number of the iPad you have. Does it match?

    I am trying to create a credit memo from my sales orderin lieu of return of a defective product,  I am using the repair procedure which generates item category IRGN for credit memo.
    My question; Since using repair procedure gives me a sub-item I am not sure how to go about billing it and also can I bypass the credit memo request creation and directly create Credit memo, how?

  • How to create Subscription Schedule for a Contract created from Sales Order

    Hi Gurus,
    Need help in creating subscription contracts from Sales Orders.
    We know that Service Contract is created from Sales Orders by adding covered item and service item as two lines in a Sales Order.
    1. Does anyone know how to a create Subcription Contract by adding single item or BOM item(Model) to a Sales Order?
    2. Can we have a BOM item created as Subcription item and reference this to the Service Item in the Sales Order, so that we get the Service Contract created with the BOM item as Covered line.
    3. Whenever we create the Service Contracts from Sales Orders, the Billing Schedule Level is set to 'Top Level'. Can we get this changed to 'Equal Amount' by using any profile options.
    Please advise as we are in a critial design phase and need to make a decision quickly.

I have seen the developers giude and the example shows how to tansfer values to another page but no clues what so ever if i have to transfer them to the same page different region. Do u have any suggestions ....

  • Partner data copy from notification to repair order

    Hi, all
    I have this question, where I want to use one time customer for my repair order. Usually I add this one time customer in notification, when I creating service order (SM03)from repair order it not showing the customer in the service order... all it shows blank space. I am able get the address into SM02 order type but its not getting any details for SM03 type.
    Can anyone tell me what I am missing here, to get this done.
    Means the way to copy partner address from notification to repair order & from repair order to service order.
    Any help is very helpful....thanks a lot in advance

    Please check whether you have maintained same Partner Determination procedure for SM03 order type as notification type. You might have maintained same for SM02 & respective notification type.

  • Handling Status of Servicable Material on Repair order Manually

    Dear All
    Is it possible to change the status of servicable material from Under repair>repaired>for delivery  manually without using service order for the reapir order.
    My scenario is that i am using Notification for the purpose of generating repair order and service order.
    I create repair order  for the purpose of tranfer of posting to different location and manage the status while creating service order revenue based directly from Notification as i need to create quatation for it and generate sale order and billing for the service order.

    I am using reapir order for moving my servicable meterial to different processes of return and repair processing.I am not using service order from the reapir order as what i think is that service order generating from repair order is only used for non revenue bearning,Am i correct?
    Sir my other question is  I create quatation > standard sales order>delivery--> Billing for the component which i sell for my service order.Issue is that When  billing document is generated system post material in debit & sales value in credit on service order. Resultantly order total value shown in negative and negative value cannot be settled told by CO consultant.

    Hi 
    we have a scenario where in we are creating a manufacturing order ( This is a sales order with no delivery relevance and billing relevance ), we use this to transfer requirement fo sales order to production( production is not in SAP) via interface .
    We need to create  PO when we get the confirmed dates from legacy system . We planned to create the PO from sales order directly . How can we do this ?
    Also my dubt is when we get the confirmed dates from  legacy system in to SAP , do we need to update the PO which in turn would need to update sales order schedule lines or can we directly update schedule lines in Sales order .
    IPlease let me know in detail if possible .

    You can use BAPI : BAPIPO_CREATE1_   for creating PO from sales order , you can pass the SALES ORDER no into the item level field : CRM_SALES_ORDER_NO---'' YOUR SALES ORDER '' . and fill the corresponding ITEMX for the field .

  • I have lost Napster from my Sonos app controller. My Napster account is still live. Having contacted Sonos support they suggest I go into Settings and select "Manage Services". However, I cannot find this link. Any clues as to where I will find it?

    I have lost my Napster music from my Sonos system controlled via the Sonos app controller. Sonos Helpline suggest the following -

    My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!
