Can web service schema loading again by flex once it is failed ?

Hello,
I used cairngorm architecture and in that i used webservice.
I show that service controller / flex load wsdl schema first in webservice object.
Once loading is finished flex can use this schema to call the webservice function.
I have one question is it . If some how during wsdl schema loading any error is occured then can flex loading again this schema ?

In fact I did saw this tutorial and I decided to make it work today. Which in fact I did, but got in trouble with a bunch of libraries. Now I do have my java classes in the database with their java sources. The tutorial also says to create a procedure since its static the way to call the class. The procedure creates sucessfully. But now I got the problem when I try to execute my procedure I get this error:

applications/modules can be developed to access a database, which can then be exposed as a WebService. So I guess the answer is yes. If you use a mapping framework, abstract it with EJB, or use DAO/JDBC and stick to a SQL command set common to all the databases you want to use, it could also be portable.
Example of a Web Service for JBoss? -- see jboss.org I'd expect.
The Oracle Database Web Service chapter in the Web Services documentation provides a good insight into some of the capabilities we have with Oracle Application Server to talk directly to an Oracle database.

Web Service with Complex Results and Flex

I have created a Enterprise Java Bean that has one "test" method that returns a String[]. I have compiled, deployed and registered this bean in Sun's Application Server 8.1. I am using NetBeans 5.0 to develop this project.
I try to load this web service into Flex and I get a fault thrown: TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert []@29e5d06 to XMLList. I have set the returnType in Flex as "e4X.". Do I need to do this in my webservice.
Any help would be appreciated.

    I think with present netweaver developer studio , we can create Web services with end points as simple data types in java and the array of that simple data types.
    not sure whether it support our own custom developed classes as end points.

Pulling Data from an imported web service into a data grid - Flex 3.0

I have created a web service from Oracle using JDeveloper and imported it into my Fex 3 project, and I am trying to populate a data grid with the data from the web service. I was trying to emulate the example found in my Adobe Flex 3.0 for Dummies book (see http://dougmccune.com/flexfordummies/chapter14/srcview/index.html), and while the code from the book with that data service works fine, I can't get my application to work. My issue is with the part of code mx:DataGrid dataProvider="(service)" - I do not know how to specify what to use for the data source to populate the data grid from my imported web service. Any suggestions or examples would be helpful, as I am a newcomer to Adobe Flex. My code is as follows:

Can Web Service Consumption in SAP CRM 7.0 handle multiple records

I have a requirement where in I need to Consume a web service in SAP CRM. The response of the web service will have multiple records.
My questions is will Web Service Consumption in SAP CRM 7.0 be able to handle these records in a popup or not.

Hi Kavita,
There is a standard column in UWL with name 'Sent Date'. Other functionalities in UWL for example deadline monitoring (Due date column) are based on this sent date. This shows an employee what was the date workitem was created (sent date) and when it will get escalated (due date). Displaying forwarding date in Sent date will not give clear picture to employee as the deadline will be calculated based on sent date only not based on forwarding date. this was just an example.
even though if your client is insisting, i dont think it can be done without any enhancement in UWL web dynpro com sort of thing. you can check with your portal consultant too.

put all the related Java code to jar file and the rest of the code to the war
files? The reason I asked is because we do not deploy our applciation in ear format.
A:<WWSD-7> EAR files are general packaging structures that can contain war, EJB
jar, rar and regular jar files. The wsgen task provided expects an output file
to be an ear file. If you are going to utilize another format you will be resonpsible
for building the appropriate web application components. It can be done but you
will have to do more work and not use the provided wsgen task. As far as web services
in general are concerned, the actual business processing can be done by any component
just as long as there is a servlet that understands the SOAP requests and responses.
It is BEA expectation that EJBs are supposed to be you core business components
so these will be the operations most likely to be exposed as web srevices.

Oracle AS 10.1.2.3 - Application/Web Service 'not loaded'

I've successfully deployed my application against OAS 10.1.3.3 with no problems. Unfortunately, my target platform is 10.1.2.3 and I cannot upgrade.
When I deploy my application against OAS 10.1.2.3, it does not start/load. When I look at the application in the Enterprise Manager, I can see that it says "Status - not loaded" and "Auto Start - true".
Any suggestions as to why it would start okay in one and not in the other? The .ear file is the same for both of them.

Usually web service datasources load into a PSA. and hierarchies are loaded using IDoc. You could however load the data from the web service into another infoobject / DSO and create a custom hierarchy datasource . The procedure for the same - I came across something like this in ABAP for BW ( SAP Press ) ... do not have it now but it can be done...

Trying to pass xml data to a web service

I'm working on an Apex application that is required to pass data to a web service for loading into another (non Oracle) system. The web service expects two stings as input, the first string is simply an ID, the second string is an xml document. I generate an xml 'string' using PL/SQL in an on-submit process prior to invoking the web service. If I pass regular text for the second parameter, the web service returns an error message which is stored in the response collection and displayed on the page as expected. When I pass the the xml data, I get a no data found error and the response collection is empty. I have tried this in our development environment on Apex 3.1.2 (database version 10.2). I also tried this on our Apex 4.0.2 sandbox (with the same Oracle 10.2 database). I have found that once I have nested xml, I get the no data found message, if I pass partial xml data, I get the error response from the web service. Perhaps I am not generating the xml correctly to pass to the web service (this only just occurred to me as I write this)? Or is there an issue passing xml data from Apex to the web service? Any help will be greatly appreciated! here is the code I use to generate the xml string:

The user reviews the data in a sql report region. When the use clicks on the Upload (SUBMIT) button, the xml string is generated first and then the web service is invoked. Error[Validate Data]: (XML) = Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.. Cannot validate the XML! I have opened the web service in IE and pasted my xml input string and received a valid, verified result, so I am sure that the generated xml is correct. I should add that once I have nested tags in the xml, I get the Oracle no data found error ("<header xmlns=""> <stdXmlVer>2.0</stdXmlVer> <sendingUnit>10</sendingUnit> </header>"). I f I do not have nested tags in the xml ("<notification>[email protected]</notification> <creationDate>2011-12-20</creationDate>"), I get the web service response (error).

Ok, I think I'm getting closer to thinking this all the way through. When I have used clobs in the past, I've always used the DBMS_CLOB package. I use this to create a temp clob and then make the above calls. I had to go find an example in my own code to remember all of this. So, here is another suggestion... feel free to disregard all the previous code snippets..

end;This code will use the Database to construct your clob and then convert it back to a varchar2 for output to your webservice. This makes more sense to me now and hopefully you can follow what the process is doing.
You don't technically need the two varchar2(36767) variables. I used two for naming convention clarity sake. You could use just one multipurpose variable instead.

Creating a Web Service to handle flow between BPEL process and XML Gateway

I am new to Web Services. I have never created one, yet I have the task of designing the following for a project.
Any help as to what steps I need to take would be very very helpful. There is a lot of information on XML, SOA and WSDL out there that it can get very confusing, and sometimes you just need someone to point the way
What I need to do is create a Custom Send and a Custom Receive Program (both web services) handle the message flow between an Enterprise BPEL processes and a Deployed XML Gateway.
BPEL compresses this XML business object document (for faster transmission), and sends remotely to this Custom Receive web service, which in turn calls a decompress java program and then send the document to the XML gateway inbound web service.
The Custom Send web service does just the opposite. It needs to take the business object document from XML gateway, call the compress java program and then send to the Enterprise BPEL.
In a nutshell...these Custom Send/Receive Web services handle the message flow between the Enterprise BPEL process and the Deployed XML Gateway.
What I need help on...
-Creating this in JDeveloper- where do I get started?
-How does a web service receive a compressed file sent to me via BPEL? Does it just sit there waiting for it?
-Is this a synchronous or asynchronous design?
-Will this be 2 web services (Send and Receive) or do I make 1 with 2 functionalities
-How do I call the java compress/decompress program within the web service? (this java function is already created and ready to be called)
-Is this decompressed business object file an XML schema and an XML message? Or just a message?
-I need to send this to the XML Gateway Web Service to load. How does that work?
-I have a Generic XML Gateway WSDL file...I assume I need to take all the info I get and map it to this template? Is this true? How do I do that?
Like I said, any help would be appreciated. Links answers to my many questions would be fabulous.

If you are talking about simple XML transformation of the SOAP payload between the client calling your service and the final destination of the message you are routing, the ESB approach may be a better fit.
If you have more complex transformation in mind, with major processing and rework of the message in the intermediary, you may be better of with using the POJO approach. Write your service and embed a callout to the other service in your implementation. If the two services share the same Java Model, you may even be able to re-use the same Java Bean.
To get SOAP Element instead of Java bean, you just need to use the noDataBinding option with either genProxy and topDownAssemble (or assemble). See the WS-Guide [1] for details. Chapter 18 will give you all the details about the different WSA command line parameters.

How to avoid redeclaring your web service interface?

Hi there,
How can one avoid having to redeclare your wsdl interface on
each mxml page where it is accessed? I only want to declare the web
service and the operation is has once and then just include it in
the component where I use it to access/update data.
I am new to flex so this may be obviouse to other but not me.
I tried including it in its own mxml file and then using the normal
component include tag to include it. I get errors about not being
able to access the webservice via its id.
e.g.
Error: Access of undefined property WebService.

The solution is to place the web definition in a separate
file and then use the "include" like functionality of defining your
own namespace in the xml. You do the include in the main
application file.

Create web service from java class in Jdeveloper 11g

I have very simple java class which I want to expose as a web service. I am using the Jdeveloper's in-built wizard to "Creat Web Service" from a java class. While doing so when I am selecting a method to be exposed as a web service, I get a error pop-up which says "Failed to load system class."
I am not able to understand the reson for this error. I tried to do this with a very simple java code too but still no luck!!
Here is the code:
