Canceled service, never got sent packing slip, now in collections

I ordered Verizon DSL Internet in November. The modem and a tech arrive, oh, looks like I don't have connections in my apartment, I only have cable connections. My mistake. I'm sorry.
I cancel the subscription, never having gotten a single digital bit of information anywhere within my apartment. Verizon assures me the cancellation request is fine and that they'll send a packing slip for the modem. Great.
A bill appears for the first month use. Not great. I call and have the bill canceled. I point out I need a packing slip for the modem. They say fine. Great.
Later on a bill arrives FOR THE MODEM. I call and point out I've been waiting for the packing slip for the modem. They say fine. I wait.
Frankly, by this point, I forget. My mistake. I'm sorry. Turns out I have more **bleep** going on in my life than following up on some modem boxed up on a shelf in my apartment I'm waiting to mail. Now today I receive a bill FROM COLLECTIONS. $56.23.
Not great. I call again, the phone tree (which itself is a bureaucratic insanity right out of Kafka meets Gilliam's Brazil at this point) won't let me pass because the account home phone number and reference numbers seem to no longer be referenced to me. I get connected to a woman connects me to a shipping department so that I can get a packing slip where I have to leave a message because I can't get through to an agent. I don't have time to call during regular business hours because I work.
Look. Here is what I need:
1) I. NEED. A. PACKING. SLIP. SO. THAT. I. CAN. SEND. YOU. YOUR. MODEM.
2) I need a chat option with an agent online so that I can just simply write out what I need and get a response. Your phone tree is impenetrable. I've used it at this point half a dozen times and still never get connected to anybody who seems capable of doing what I need.
3) I need my name and debt withdrawn from the collection agency BECAUSE ALL I NEED TO DO IS SEND YOU BACK YOUR USELESS MODEM. It's not like I want the thing, it's not like I'm using it for anything, it's not like I'm withholding it from you. Alllllllll LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLlLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL I NEED IS A **bleep** PACKING SLIP.

You can send it to my e-mail or you can mail it to me or you could just call me and leave me your shipping address (no, it's not on any of the documentation I have). You can do anything! You're Verizon! You're huge!

  • Orders kept being cancelled and never got any email notification

    It's been the third order that has been cancelled recently! I placed an order on 6th but it was cancelled. I changed something and placed another order on 10th but it was still cancelled. Today I just found the last order I placed yesterday was again cancelled! The most rediculous thing is that I didn't get any email notification about these cancellations. Every time I waited for several days to login my account only to find out it was cancelled. Please give me a reason for that.
    By the way, I never successfully check my accout information or checkout using my computer. When I want to checkout it always says that my session expired even if I just logged in and already tried for a dozen times. I've changed explorers, cleared cookies, but nothing worked. I can only use my ipad to order or check order status. Is it my computer's problem?

    From personal experience, ordering online should an easy process, so it's regrettable your orders are reportedly canceling without a reason as to why. While we unfortunately have to occasionally cancel orders on our end for various purposes, we should be notifying you of this, and I apologize if this wasn't the case.

    I'm syncing my iPhone 5 to iTunes and keep getting messages about all the content that will not sync because "not authorized."
    So I try to login to my Apple ID
    - password is wrong
    - follow the link to reset password
    - chose "send email" but no email arrives (I even check 'junk' folder to be sure)
    - go back to reset password and try "Answer security questions"
    - says my DoB is wrong but I'm sure DoB is correct and there's no way forward
    So what is the solution? Re-purchase all the content that won't sync?

  • Re: Printing Cancelled line items in the sales order on the packing slip

    Hi gurus,
    Currently we have a unique requirement in our company. Our wholesale customers send the Purchase order to us via EDI. Now saw they have requested an order containing 10 materials out of which we can fulfill only 8. the other 2 due to some reasons cannot be fulfilled.
    So the business wants to keep the other 2 line items to be entered in the sales order with a cancelled status.
    Now correct me if I am wrong, only the confirmed line items will be copied from a sales order to a delivery document. So thats the reason why these cancelled line items cannot be printed on the packing slip.
    However somehow the business wants the packing slip tp have the 2 line items printed on it with the reason of not being delivered. this is to facilitate the customer to know why those items couln't be fulfilled by our company. Now we cannot use a manual work-around of letting the customer know about the impossibility of not fulfilling the other 2 items as there are a lot of orders that come thru EDI per day.
    Can anyone suggest a solution to this requirement asap.

    Hi Vinit,
    This requirement makes a lot of sense, that is to be able to inform your customer that some item(s) of the sales order could not be delivered, not even partially.
    A possible solution would be to allow for zero quantity in the delivery item (check customizing and mark "zero quantity allowed" in the item category).
    Then in the packing split, it would be easy to print the delivered quantity (0) and the sales order quantity (whatever it was), because you have the "null" item available in the delivery.
    Personally I am not found of having have delivery items with zero quantity, but they are useful in that case, and they can also be useful to automatically "close" the sales order item (instead of having to do it manually if the goods can't be served).
    Note: Usually in Consumer Goods, if you can't serve part of a sales order to a customer, you have to close it, because the Retailer's next Sales Order will include the remaining quantity.

    I would wait like a week or so after you cancelled but after that you should call their customer service and see what's going on on their end of the transaction.

    Hi, I had the same problem and I found that you don't need a serial number anymore. Here is what I did:
    (1)I went to Applications fodder on my Mac. (You can navigate to the Application folder from 'New Finder Window.')
    (2) Deleted Pages (installed as part of the free  free trial version) from the Applications Folder. Also deleted 'IWorks' from the Applications folder.
    (3) Started AppStore.
    (4) Clicked on  Purchases.
    (5) Clicked on Pages.
    (6) Clicked Install.
    (4) repeated (5) and (6) for Numbers and Keynote

  • How do I get the packing slips to print the selections made under a buy now button

    So I started using paypal packing slips about a year and half ago, instead of manually copying the info into an excel document version to create the packing slip. I use the packing slips to make sure I have the order correct and done before packing and then printing out the label. For the past year and half if it is a 'buy now' button with drop down selections, I have to manually edit each one to copy and paste the info from the payment notification into the end of  'thank you' text field. and in the process I have to remember to de-select the save button each time so I don't accidently put that info on my next order. Is there a way either with the button itself or the packing slip to select to have it print out the selections made on the packing slip? Given that in a few cases there are several drop downs, I need them all to list. It would save me a little time with each order and more importantly make sure I have the correct information on the correct packing slip. The information is there. just have not figured out how to automatically have it print on the packing slip. For trivia: I have no problem when I send an invoice or have an item with no selections, but for those items that have selections, because most of my items have several similar variations available, it would be really nice to be able to have it automatically put that information on the packing slip.

    Could you check your "shrink to fit" and scaling settings? Easiest way is:
    tap the Alt key > File > Page Setup
    The default would be
    * Scale: 100
    * Shrink to fit checked (this disables editing the Scale box, but you can uncheck it, edit, then re-check it)
    If those are at their default settings, perhaps they do not work well for particular pages? You can use Print Preview to examine how shrink-to-fit works on that page and override it by using a different percentage instead.
    Occasionally Firefox printer data gets garbled and manual adjustments don't seem to work. In that case, you can "reset" those printer settings. This article has the steps: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages#Reset_printer

    Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
    Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
    Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
    Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

    If you do not want to use passcodes, why don't you just go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock and delete the passcode and set the lock to OFF.  That will eliminate the problems all together.
