Cange of order type by using  mass or single change.

Dear friends,
Please guide me for transaction to change the Order type for using Mass or single. (Not using by t code VOV8)
regards
Atul

Hi
There is transaction MASS which can be used to carry out mass changes in the sales order and other objects.
Mass Maintenance: (Use to change multiple fields in multiple documents at the same time).  I have done mass change for customers; and orders should work the same way too.
1) Try t-code [MASS] and select sales orders & execute
2) Choose the table or tables for your selection criteria and also for fields you want to change.
Then execute. (suppose your selection criteria fields are from "sales order header data" table and the field you want to change, is in "item data" table)
3) Put in the sales documents(21000000, 21000001) you want to change and also the items(10) you want to change.
- click on " choose selection fields" button
- From the Pool, move the fields you want to the "select fields" using arrows.
4)From mass maintenace menu, click on "Enter new field values"
-click on "sales order item data" tab and choose the field you want to change.
(for example. I want to change plant for item 10)
-enter the new value (of the plant to be)
-click on "Adopt" and execute
5)In "sales order item data" tab, you see the new value of the plant you entered at the top and the old values of item 10 are below.
-click on "change field values" button.  you see all the old values are changed to new values.
-save
Note:  it will take some time depending on how many records you have.
Check:  Go to [SM37] and see the status of the job you are running and once finished, export the spool file to a spreadsheet.
Before you do mass maintenance, go to the particular table in [se16] and get the results.  Then do the mass maintenance and compare the results with this one.  If they match, then you are good to go.
Note:  If you have any user exits that affect the results, ask them to deactivate the MODCHECKS still you are done with mass maintenance & activate them again.

  • Different order type to use for iStore

    Hi,
We have 2 sites as per OU1 and OU2.
Set ASO: Default Order Type to IBE_CUSTOMER_1, IBE_CUSTOMER_2.
Now if we want to use more than this order type what we need to do apart from creation of new responsibility.
    Thanks,
    Ashish

    Hello Ashish,
For release 12, the order type is now a Quoting Parameter which is setup at the OU level and not responsibility.  However, there is a new iStore profile option introduced, "IBE:Default Order Type" which can be set at the User, Application or Site level.  To get this profile option you need to apply Patch 7042892:R12.IBE.B  - "R12: ASO: DEFAULT ORDER TYPE NOT AVAILABLE BY RESPONSIBILITY".
**Please note that the patch does NOT allow profile to be updated at Responsibility level. This is a MOAC limitation.
As per MOAC mandate, profile options at the responsibility level that are  dependent on the operating unit have to be removed, or not supported at  the responsibility level.

  • Which order type gets collected and is used for forecast consumption

    Hi all,
I would like to know which Order Types (transaction types) get collected into ASCP (appear as demand) and which Order Types are used for forecast consumption.
I tried to find something in the user guides, but had not yet success :(
    What I want to do:
    1. decide which order types are collected or not
    2. decide which order types consume forecast or not
    Anyone any advices?
    Big thanks in advance,
    David.

    Hi,
Rather speaking like Order types, we may use word Sales Order. ASCP will collect all the Sales Orders for which we need to intiate action for Supplies. How it is determined?. It is determined from SO lines where in we have So lines are scheduled(it is prt of Workflow action too) and It is flaged 'Yes' for "Visible Demand Flag" . This is what designed functionality. We do not care what type of order type it is.
    thanks,
    dr

  • Different order type

    Dear all,
We have two order type one is for proceesing and other is for reprocessing Or repacking .
Can pls let me know the difference etween them , I have found that at Order type Cor4 , under controlling tab RESULT ANALYSIS KEY is there , that is set for differetly ...pls reply me what is the fuctionalty for that Key?
    Waiting for replies.
    Prerna Verma.

    Dear
For Standard Process Order : Order Type is PI01 .This internal Order type is used to determine Profit center (present in Account assignmnet tab)
For Filling and Packing purpose : Order Type : PI04
    Functionality Result Analysis Key :
1.It defines the valuation of the order during period-end closing. How the results analysis key is used depends on the nature of the order.
2.For orders with revenue ( internal orders, sales orders, and projects), the results analysis key determines how results analysis is carried out
3.Results analysis is recommended in the following situations: When you are using a nonvaluated sales order stock or nonvaluated project stock and you want to valuate the inventories at the end of the period
4.When you are using a valuated sales order stock or valuated project stock and want to valuate goods that have been delivered but not yet invoiced, or when you want to create reserves automatically
    5. For orders without reference to a sales order item or WBS element, the results analysis key determines how the work in process is calculated. The production type can be make-to-stock or mass production on the basis of sales orders. The work in process is calculated at the level of the production order, process order, or product cost collector. For capital investment measures, the results analysis key determines how the system calculates the values to be capitalized
    Hope this will be helpful

  • SD Order Type for Rebate Management

    Hello,
I have created Rebate Agreement. Status is coming as blank (Open).
I want to create a Sales Order to test the rebate.
How do I determine which Order Type to use for creating the Sales Document.
    Thank you,
    Ashish

For doing a cycle on Rebate in SD, you need to run full end to end OTC (Order 2 Cash) cycle.
And to that you need to various configuration, which may include modification in pricing with addition of condition type for rebate bases, accrual relevant GL account, etc.
You can search SCN or SAP building block for rebate related configuration.
You will get a lot of information related to that.
    Regards
    JP
    FYI
If you don't have requirement type 24 against condition type for rebate base in your pricing procedure.
The condition type for rebate will also display in sales order & it can be indicative to end-user who is creating a sales order. But actual accrual value for rebate is posted from billing doc.
Best practice is rebate bases should calculated in billing, as that will reflect in GL accounts and rebate agreement.
This thing purely based on client requirement.
As few people like to see a tentative value for rebate at the time of creation of sales order.

    Hi,
    2. Order Master Data
    2.1 Define Order types (KOT2_OPA)
IMG Controlling  Internal Orders Order Master Data  Define Order Types
An Internal order is created under an Order type. An order type is used for storing various control parameters and various defaults while creating an internal order. It is used for classifying various types of internal orders according to usage for e.g. Real orders for trade fairs, real orders for Capital investment measure, Statistical orders for motor vehicle expenses.
The order type is client-specific, which means that every order type can be used in all controlling areas. A number range is assigned to the internal order type.
    Click on “New Entries”
Take a drop in the field Order category and select 01
    Enter
    Update the following
    Give Order Type :- Z810
Description :- Traders First Real order type
    Object Class :- OCOST overhead
Reference Order :- Collective order without automatic goods movement
    Residence time 1 :- 12 months
    Residence time 2 :- 1 month
Check “Commit Management and Check Integrated Planning
Activate CO Partner Updating -You activate this so that allocations between orders and other CO objects (cost centers, projects, etc.), the partner information is retained and whether for each order a totals record should be written.
    Save
    Click on “Field Selection”
Here you can hide the various fields or make it as required entry or only display or available for input. Thus while creating internal order only those fields are displayed and available for input.
    Click Save
2.2 Maintain Number Ranges for Orders (KONK)
IMG Controlling  Internal Orders  Order Master Data Maintain Number Ranges for Orders
Number Range needs to be assigned to the internal order type. Number range can be internal or external. In Internal numbering system automatically assigns a number from the given number range. In external numbering the user has to manually assign the number from the given number range.
We will configure internal number range for our internal order type – Trade Fair
Click on Group Maintain (From the menu bar)
Click on Group  Insert (From the menu bar)
    Update the following
    From Number: - 910000000000
    To Number: - 919999999999
Click in “plus icon” at the left bottom of the screen
    Click Save
You will find internal order type Z810 in not assigned
You need to assign the order type to the group we created above. Proceed as follows:-
Position the cursor on: - Z810 Trade Fair real order type
Click on “Arrow”   Z810 Trade Fair real order type note it turns blue
Select Check mark Z810 A ltd India fair real order
    Click “Element Group”
The internal order type Z910 moves under the group which can be seen as follows:-
Z810: A Ltd India Trade fair real order / Z810 Trader Fair real order type.
    Click Save
Select: - Z810: A Ltd India Trade fair real order / Z810 Trader Fair real order type.
    Click on “Pencil” icon.
    Click Back arrow.
    2.3 Define Model Orders
    IMG Controlling Internal Orders Order Master Data Screen Layout
    Define Model Orders
Model orders are not orders in the commercial sense, but serve merely as references for creating "normal" orders. Model orders contain default values for the orders in an order type. The Model order is assigned as the reference order in the order type.
When you create a new order, all the fields active in the relevant order type are copied from the model order to the new order.
    Example
You want to settle all your marketing orders to the same sales cost center. Stipulate the cost center as the default value in the model order for marketing orders.
When you create a new marketing order, the system defaults this cost center. If you want to settle the order to a different cost center, you can overwrite the default cost center in the orders.
We will create a model order with some defaults and assign it to the Trade fair internal order type
    Click “Create CO Model Order”
Press F4 and select ($$) 03 model order
Click on the master data and update the following
    Order: - $$$ Z81000001
Description text: - A Limited Trade affair
    Click Save
Assign this model order to the order type Z810
Update the reference order with the model order number $$$Z81000001 in the reference order field
    Click on save.

  • Different number ranges for same order type

    Hi PP Guru's ,
Can anyone send me the user exit for the differnet number range creation for the same order type.
Same order type is used in two different Plants. So our client want to track the production order plantwise.
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards,
    Nagraj

    Hi Nagaraj,
The number range is defined at order type level ( i.e. client level)
So if you want to use different number range for different plant,  then use different order type for different plants.
    Thanks and regards

  • Delivery Priority by Order Type

Is there a way to configure that if a certain Order Type is used that a certain Delivery Priority would default even if different from the Customer Master setup?

    Hi Thacker ,
There is no control for delivery priority in the Document type.
In document type u have Shipping condition as well as in Customer master.
if u maintained in both places then system will give priorory to the shipping condition in the document type.
Come to the point for Delivery priority U can maintain in two places
One in Customer Master & 2nd one in Customer Info Record.
Here also system will givepriority to Customer Info Record.
    U can overwrite it manually
    Hope u got ur answer.

    1.  Close the existing wrong order by setting the deletion indicator
    2.  Create a new order with the correct order type
IF there are any others ways that could be followed, it will be great if you could provide such info.
Also, let me know if any thing else to be taken care in this situation.

    Hi Ajay,
Did you mean to say there is no need  to include new SALES ORDER TYPES in order to appear in COPA ? I
have similar scenario where we created new sales order types & data from new order types are not flowing to COPA ( Specifically table CE11000).
