Cannot access SAPMNT hosted on NT Cluster

We need to access SAPMNT hosted on CI node name R3-FFHK-CLS01 of the
PRD NT cluster
(CI and DB node) from another SAP QAS server name SAENUS.
The SAPLOC and SAPMNT was created during SAP installation and have been
granted everyone full control permission on both CI and DB node of PRD
NT cluster and SAP QAS server.
Despite the above, when we logon to Windows 2003 on SAP QAS server name
SAENUS to access the SAPMNT hosted on CI node name R3-FFHK-CLS01 of PRD
NT cluster, we received the following error :
R3-FFHK-CLS01\sapmnt\ is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator to
find out if you have access permissions. Access is denied.
We can connect and see the shares inside
R3-FFHK-CLS01 but cannot
access
R3-FFHK-CLS01\sapmnt. Strange.
On the other hand, if we logon to Windows 2003 on either node of PRD NT
cluster we can access the SAPMNT share hosted on SAP QAS server name
SAENUS without permission problem.
Regards, Johne.

We logon to the cluster with domaina\prdadm.
We logon to the QAS with domaina\qasadm.
We can access SAPMNT hosted on QAS from cluster when logged onto cluster using domaina\prdadm.
We can't access SAPMNT hosted on cluster from QAS when logged onto QAS using domaina\qasadm.
Both SAPMNT has been granted everyone full control permission.

  • VPN client cannot access inside hosts

    Hello,
I have an ASA 5505 device with the attached configuration and my vpn clients can connect to it fine.  Although, once a vpn client is connected they cannot RDP, ping, or telnet any internal hosts.  The goal is to have a connected vpn client to have all access rights as anyone sitting on the internal network.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood what you were asking.  Yes those three networks are on the inside of our ASA.  we have 2 outside of the ASA (10.0.2.x, 10.0.10.x).  When our clients vpn they connect to the x.x.205.210 ip address, which maps them depending on the preshared key that puts them on either the kappaVPN or the umeempVPN.  (I am kind of new to configuring the ASA).  When the cisco vpn client connects to the network, I checked the statistics and it lists all of our LAN networks under secure routes.  I cannot ping anything inside the LAN nor can I connect RDP, telnet or anything.
Hope this answers your questions, just let me know if you need any more information.

  • Cannot access mailbox hosted on remote EX2010 server through OWA

Our Internet facing OWA is published through our EX2013 server as MAIL.CONTOSO.COM
We have multiple sites acrossed global. OWA proxy from EX2013 to EX2010 works fine for NZ and US. But for some reason when tries to access mailbox on UK EX2010 SP3 server through the EX2013 OWA, I got error below:
    OWA-Error: Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.NotSupportedWithServerVersionException
    X-OWA-Version: 15.0.775.32
    X-FEServer: EX2013-CAS
    X-BEServer: EX2013-CAS
Checked the mailbox ExchangeVersion on the UK EX2010 server, it is 0.10 (14.0.100.0) same as NZ and US EX2010 mailbox users.

What is the version using get-exchangeServer | FL *Version* ?  2010 Sp3 is required at a minimum : Build 14.3.123.4

  • ASA 5505 VPN can't access inside host

I have setup remote VPN access on a ASA 5505 but cannot access the host or ASA when I login using the VPN. I can connect with the Cisco VPN client and the VPN light is on on the ASA and it shows that I'm connected. I have the correct Ip address but I cannot ping or connect to any of the internal addresses. I cannot find what I'm missing. I have the VPN bypassing the interface ACLs. Since I can login but not go anywhere I feel certian I missed something.

  • ASA 5505 Static hosts cannot access outside

I'm replacing an old PIX with a second hand ASA firewall.
I have configured the ASA in a very similar manner to how the PIX was set up but I'm having trouble with some hosts on the inside accessing the Internet. Any inside hosts which use DHCP work fine. Any inside hosts with a static IP (and configured on the ASA with a "static" rule) cannot access the Internet. For example, in the config below the server daviker-dialler cannot access the Internet.
I've spent a few days working on this now and have started from scratch several times but I'm not getting anywhere.
Apologies for all the X's everywhere, didn't like to post anything sensitive on the Internet. If I've obscured something pertinent let me know.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    Hi Jouni,
    Thanks for the info.
I didn't have icmp traffic allowed, so I knew ping wouldn't be working. I was testing using http.
I have enabled icmp and dhcp clients can ping outside. Static nat clients can't ping outside. Static clients also cannot use outbound http.
As suggested, I have run some packet traces.
From a static nat client on the ASA:

This looks fine to me, but as I say, an outbound tcp port 80 connection from the actual machine on 10.0.0.81 fails.

I can see the difference in the NAT translation section. A real outbound tcp port 80 connection from the actual machine on 10.0.0.20 works fine.

Outbound traffic from static nat hosts on the old PIX firewall works fine. One glaring difference is that the PIX is inspecting http traffic, but surely this is a red herring. Another difference is that the old and new firewalls have different gateways / default routes & different outside IP addresses. As the new ASA firewall (and its dhcp hosts) can talk to the outside world quite happily I don't think this is relevant.
I wondered whether it might be down to the difference in the inside (255.255.255.0) and outside (255.255.255.192) subnets. The set up is the same on the PIX, but I wondered whether some other line of config might be required on the ASA to handle it. I adjusted the subnet of the inside interface on the ASA to match the outside one (both 255.255.255.192) but it didn't make any difference.
    So I'm puzzled!

  • VM cannot access Internet when host is connected to VPN

    Hello everyone,
I have a little problem with my Hyper-V network. I use internal switch (external seems to have problems when I want to access the host via RDP and host has Wifi only).
Now attached is my configuration as a wonderful picture. ;) My problem is this: I have a internal switch in Hyper-V which is used by the VMs. They can access the Internet because the host WiFi Adapter has Internet Sharing enabled. However, when I connect
the host to the VPN, the VMs cannot access the internet anymore. I know it is not possible to share the VPN-Connection itself, but without any Internet I cannot connect the VMs to the VPN at all. So is there any way to connect the host to VPN and also the
    VMs?
    Thanks! :)
    Best,
    Chris

    Hi CBuntrock,
Please try the following setps :
Open network connection --> right click the vpn connection --> properties --> click tab Networking --> click the proper internet protocol version --> properties --> advanced --> tab ipsettings --> uncheck  "use defult gateway
on remote network " --> ok
Please try to access internet again from your VMs .
    Best Regards

  • Cannot access web site hosted on Azure VM

I have created Windows Server 2012R2 VM and after creating VM I have installed IIS and hosted my site and found it is working fine inside the VM.
Then I have added HTTP end point to my VM from azure portal. After creating http end point I cannot access my web site using MyHostName.cloudapp.net.
Can you help me why http end point is not working?
Then I have crated VM with template and there I have defined HTTP endpoint before creating VM.
Finally I found that if I create end point before creating VM then it works fine and if I create endpoint after creating VM then it doesn’t work.
Can you kindly help me to solve this issue (so that end point works properly after creating VM)?
    Hasibul Haque,MCC2011,MCPD hasibulhaque.com

    Hi,
You can check the port you bind for the website in IIS and make sure you have created endpoint with the correct port. You can also install Telnet client on your local computer and run "telnet xxx.cloudapp.net public_port_in_endpoint" at the command
    prompt to see it works.
Have you enable SSL on the website hosted on Azure VM? If yes, please also create an endpoint with port 443 and open that port in Windows Firewall on the VM.
    Best regards,
    Susie

  • Crashes when running applications from network share - "Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons"

    Hi,
starting a couple of weeks ago, we get the following error(s) when running applications from a network share. We don't know what causes this, we are not aware of any major changes in our network infrastructure or client/Server configuration. We did upgrade
a lot of machines to Windows 8, but the issue also occurs on older Win7 computers.
We figured out a workaround though: The applications run fine when launching from a FQDN share (like
\\share.domain.Company.com) and only cause problems when running from
\\share directly. They have worked fine for years without FQDN though.
    Any ideas?

The error value is listed in the Additional Data section.
    User Action
    1. Open the file again. This situation might be a temporary problem that corrects itself when the program runs again.
    2. If the file still cannot be accessed and
    - It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted.
    - It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer.
    3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.
    4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.
    5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.

    Hi,
    >>The applications run fine when launching from a FQDN share
It sounds like a DNS suffix issue. When this issue occurs, please try to ping share on the client, then check if the corresponding IP address is correct. If the IP address is wrong, please adjust your settings of DNS to make sure that the client can resolve
    the share correctly.
If it's very hard to change the settings of the DNS for some reason, as a work around, we can add the entry into the clients' hosts file.
    Best Regards.

  • Mail cannot access your mailbox information because it is in use

I have my mail on a Truecrypt drive and I have an alias pointing to that drive in my library and so sometimes I get this message:
"Mail cannot access your mailbox information because it is in use."
    Options are:
"Quit and rebuild Information" or "Quit"
If I rebuild then I was losing all my sent messages which is a drag and it takes a while to re-download all the messages. So what I tried was deleting the Envelope Index.lock file and then launch mail and it started up with no problems.
I think the reason this is happening is that it is possible that when I shut my computer down, Truecrypt dismounts the drive while Mail is accessing the mail folder (hence the lock file) and so when I start up again and remount the truecrypt drive that lock file is still there and I have to delete it or Mail thinks some other program is using the mail folder. Just a guess.
Hope this helps someone else if they Google this error.

I do but I do it from another computer -- that is the whole point of IMAP, by the way. I don't see how my accessing the IMAP server from another computer should cause Mail.app to think that my mailboxes on my local host, which are just copies, need to be rebuilt. I filed a bug on this and Apple gave me the annoying "Known issue" response, which means maybe they'll fix it, maybe not, thank you very much. It went away for a while, and now it's back again... sigh.

  • VPN Clients cannot access remote site

    Hey there,
I am pretty new in configuring Cisco devices and now I need some help.
    I have 2 site here:
    site A
    Cisco 891
    external IP: 195.xxx.yyy.zzz
    VPN Gateway for Remote users
    local IP: VLAN10 10.133.10.0 /23
    site B
    Cisco 891
    external IP: 62.xxx.yyy.zzz
    local IP VLAN10 10.133.34.0 /23
Those two sites are linked together with a Site-to-Site VPN. Accessing files or ressources from one site to the other is working fine while connected to the local LAN.
I configured VPN connection with Radius auth. VPN clients can connect to Site A, get an IP adress from VPN Pool (172.16.100.2-100) and can access files and servers on site A. But for some reason they cannot access ressources on site B. I already added the site B network to the ACL and when connecting with VPN it shows secured routes to 10.133.10.0 and 10.133.34.0 in the statistics. Same thing for other VPN Tunnels to ERP system.
What is missing here to make it possible to reach remote sites when connected through VPN? I had a look at the logs but could not find anything important.
Here is the config of site A

The crypto ACL for the site to site vpn should also include the vpn client pool, otherwise, traffic from the vpn client does not match the interesting traffic for the site to site vpn.
    On Site A:
    should include "access-list 107 permit ip 172.16.100.0 0.0.0.255 10.133.34.0 0.0.1.255"
You should also remove the following line as the pool is incorrect:
    access-list 107 permit ip 192.168.10.0 0.0.1.255 10.133.34.0 0.0.1.255
    On Site B:
    should include: permit ip 10.133.34.0 0.0.1.255 172.16.100.0 0.0.0.255"
NAT exemption on site B should also be configured with deny on the above ACL.

  • After update IOS from 6.0 to 7.1, my Apple Id cannot access to my Iphone due to the Apple ID that comment on IOS 7.0.2 was not matched to the old one.

I have gotten the problem after updated IOS to version 7.0.2.  I signed up my IPhone with su* @pttplc.com as Apple ID via older IOS version and can use it normally but after I update the IOS version from 6.0 to 7.0.2, the Apple ID that commented on my IPhone is sx* @pxxxxx.com. It look like that the number of alphabet in Apple Id is not matched. The new one is less than the old one so I cannot log in my IPhone. After that I try asking for the new password but the new password was not send to su* @pttplc.com but send to my reserve e-mail instead. Please help me to fix the problem ASAP due to I cannot access IPhone for 2 month already.
Please suggest the solution to reset my IPhone to normal. Please advise ASAP. Thanks in advance.
PS. If you want any further information, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Hey Suwat Chanpui,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are having issue relating to your Apple ID account after updating to iOS 7. The following articles may help to resolve your issue:
iCloud: "Incorrect Apple ID or Password" alert when setting up iCloud after upgrading to iOS 7
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5207
If you recently changed your Apple ID and did not update your Apple ID on your device:
    1. Tap Skip This Step to continue.
    2. After completing iOS 7 setup, go to Settings > iCloud.
    3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then enter your previous Apple ID and password.
    4. If your Apple ID or password are not accepted, follow the steps in iOS 7: If you're asked for your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud.
iOS 7: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
    https://support.apple.com/kb/TS5223
    3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
    1. Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
    2. Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
    3. Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
    4. Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

  • Cannot access internal LAN after VPN connect

I know this is either an ACL or NAT issue that I cannot figure out.  The nat-t config in defaulted in the IOS config for the ASA.  I actually forgot the command to show the hidden default config lines.  Either way, can someone take a look at my config, and let me know what I am doing wrong, again.
    Thanks ahead of time.

    Hello,
I have been trying to get this to work within the last week but to no avail.  I changed my config altogether and started from scratch.  I have Split Tunnel working well, and I can access the VPN client from the internal LAN.  But I still cannot access the internal LAN from the VPN client host.    Can anyone take a look at my config and tell me what ACL\Access Group I am missing.  I know I am close but I cannot get over the hump.
    Thanks!

    this is my ipconfifg ..
    please help!

I am pretty sure it doesn't work with Firefox.
I have been getting the same problem as you with Internet Explorer. "The adress is valid but will not connect" kind of error.
Having to reboot the whole router (messing 2-3 other connections) to adjust some settings is quite frustrating, I know.
Let me know if you find what causes this and how to solve it
    Jonathan

  • Backup stopped before completing. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process

I am working with a client who is attempting to backup to a NAS device
The device is a linksys NSS6000 (Cisco device).
It’s a dual 1Gbit LAN device that supports CIFS / FTP and NFS transfers. It has only 1Gbit lan connected.
The device has 4 *  500 gb sata drives in raid 1  attached.
Cables go from cat 5 to fiber back to cat5. (The NAS  is located at a neighboring office) The switches are 1gbit.
Server is a win2k8r1 fully up to date.
When backing up to the NAS device, the following error occurs:
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (86%).
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (90%).
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (94%).
Running backup of volume Local Disk(D:), copied (98%).
Backup of volume Local Disk(D:) completed successfully.
    Backup stopped before completing.
    Summary of backup:
    Backup stopped before completing.
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
If we redirect the backup to a folder on a 2008 share, the backup completes successfully.
Only when backing up to the linksys NSS6000 does the error occur.
No other backup processes are writing to the NAS device so I can't understand why the process thinks the file is
    being used by another process.
One thing we did notice that when the backup to the NAS device occurs, throughput is about 150 mbit average
On the 2008 server shares we successfully backup to, the through put is 500 mbit.  Not sure if that is important, but
    might be worth mentioning.
The following event log entry was noted at the end of the backup.
The description for Event ID '519' in Source 'Microsoft-Windows-Backup' cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display the message,
or you may not have permission to access them.  The following information is part of the
    event:'2009-05-12T10:13:31.617Z', '', '2147942432', '%%2147942432'
    Any ideas?
    Thanks..Michael

I am also seeing the same problem backing up nightly to a brand new NAS device (WD My Book Live)
All the error codes are the same as those in this thread.
    From Windows Event Viewer:
The backup operation that started at '‎2011‎-‎03‎-‎25T06:00:19.811302700Z' has failed with following error code '2147942432' (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.). Please review the event details
for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved.
