Cannot change planning package in BPS0

Hello all,
I am trying to create a test scenario for the BPS model we are trying to implement. I am at the stage where I have created a Planning package and now I am trying to change it and put in values for fiscal year but when I say change package it doesnt do anything. Can you guys help me out. Does the cube need data in it when we do this?

Yes now I can see all my areas. I am almost to the stage where I can create layout but my excel settings are very high i guess I have to enable macros.
I am going to work on it more, I will ask some more questions
Do you have any document which explains the process more ? how to select the char in the planning level and how to we go step by step where does the planning folder come in picture and all..I have few documents, but sinc eits first time I need more like step by step process.How do we do web interface.

    We posted a SD document 180000XXXX Base line date 16.12.2008 and Payt terms C003 (30 days) thE planning date must be 15.01.2009 but the Planning date is 12.01.2008. We intented change the base line date, the Payment terms and the Planning date doesn´t change. Can someone knows how can we fix the date line??

    We have  the OBB8 terms OK. but in this document in particular when we use FB03 the planning date is not correct, the Net Due Date is correct(15.01.2009), but for Treassury the Planning date is not correct

    Bline Date:    16.12.2008
    The planning date (claculated by SAP): 12.01.2008  (This day is not correct, SAP is not taken 16.12.2008 + 30 days)
    I tried changing the bline date and the Payment Terms but it doesn´t work for this particular document? Anybody knows WHY?

  • How to change the Package of planning area and datasource to be transportab

    Hi every body,
                       I av created a datasource for the xxx planning area and saved in $tmp which is local package and cannot be transportable .and i would like to transport the planning area along with the data source.But before transporting the planning area along with the data sourse i av to change the package of the data source.I am not able to understand where should i change the package of the planning area and datasouce.
    Can any body help me out of this problem.

  • CQ doesn't pick up nodetypes.cnd changes using Package Manager

    Hi,
    CQ doesn't seem to pick up the changes in custom nodetype definitions in nodetypes.cnd when I install the package containing the updated nodetypes.cnd using Package Manager, how do I get around this?
    Steps
    1) fire up a fresh installation of CQ
    2) In Package Manager, upload a CQ package containing custom nodetypes.cnd
    3) check that the custom nodetypes are registered in Node Type Administration console
    4) change nodetypes.cnd by adding a new property in a custom nodetype inside nodetypes.cnd file
    5) make a new package with updated nodetypes.cnd file
    6) In Package Manager, upload the new CQ package and install
    7) check that the new property has been added in Node Type Administration console <-- ***FAIL***

    You can only install new node types this way - but you cannot change existing node types with cnd files in a package. The package manager simply skips all existing namespace & node types in a cnd file.
    This is because updating an existing node type might fail, depending on whether it is used in content and the change is conflicting. It's a schema change and that can be non-trivial. Therefore package manager does not try to tackle this at all.
    You can use this tool that guides through the process: http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/compat/components/ntupgrade.html
    You can do it yourself programmatically using the JCR API - take a look at the implementation of the above tool: /libs/cq/compat/components/ntupgrade/ntupgrade.jsp
    But only do this during development - you should not plan for schema updates to production systems. In general, you want to minimize the use of schemas / node types with JCR. Use nt:unstructured, cq:Page, sling:Folder and co, and use properties (mostly sling:resourceType) to mark types. These can be much easier migrated.

  • Cannot change Valuation Class although no Open-PO

    Dear Gurus,
    I try to change Valuation Class in Material Master but I cannot after I created PO and still after MIGO and MIRO.
    We are using PS and Material Master is set as below;
    Ind./Coll in MPR4 = 1
    Since requirement comes from PS, PO is created with account assignment category Q.
    Once we execute MIGO and MIRO for the PO, still we cannot change Valuation Class.
    If you know the way to change Valuation Class, would you tell me how?

    The change of the valuation class will impact on ML (material ledger), if the ML
    is active. Is ML active on your system?
    The note 575632 explains partly the effects on CCS. The
    valuation class is used to allocate the plan costs to the related cost
    element. Therefore, it is advisable to create new materials instead of
    changing the valuation class. This would be straight forward and easy to
    follow-up. The CCS does not a change history. Consequently, the previous
    periods can not be explained with current CCS. That may lead
    inconsistencies under circumtances. It is up to your decision. You can
    change, test the impact and decide on. The proposed solution of SAP
    would be avoiding that change and creating new materials.
    When you try to change the valuation class, what is the details of the
    error?
    In order to change valuation class in the material master, you have to
    make sure that none of the following exist in you system:
    1  Valuated stocks in the current period or in the previous period
    2  Open purchase orders or delivery schedule lines
    3  Production orders for which a goods movement has already taken place
    The system checks the stocks (storage loc. stocks and special
    stocks) of the same period in which the valuation class will be changed.
    If the valuation class of current period will changed, check in
    transaction code MMBE for zero stocks, or in SE16: MARD/MBEW;
    MCHB/MKOL/MSKA/MSKU/MSLB/MSPR.
    The system checks all dependant purchase documents without delete flag
    and error M3368 occurs when it finds at least one non deleted po item
    (not only when stocks exist).
    1. First be sure that no stocks exist in current AND previous period!
       see note 30656, with an example how to get zero stocks.
    2. SE16 ->table EKPO. Select all po items of the related material.
       If you found items with LOEKZ <> 'L', you have to delete them in ME22
    3. SE16 ->table AFPO. Select all items of the related material/plant.
       If you find at least one item, change of val.clss. is not possible.
       You have to these production order(s) !
    These hard restrictions are necessary as inconsistencies in account
    assignment will follow after change of val.class, when proceeding
    follow up functions of a PO item before and after changing valuation
    class. Also attached is 146241.
    In customizing for the Material Master, you can switch the check for
    open purchase orders and/or for production orders to a warning.
    You do this in Define Attributes of System Messages by assigning
    the message type Warning to message MM 326 and/or MM 327 respectively.
    Please refer to note 160970 for more information.

  • SG:50, Cannot convert planned orders to prod orders at BOM component level

    Test scenario for Strategy Group 50 (Planning without final Assembly)
    Product Structure
    Material-->  SG50.00 > FERT> (Strategy Group: 50)
    Material---> SG50.02 --> HALB --->(Strategy Group: 40)
    Material---> SG50.04 ---> ROH --->(Strategy Group: Blank)
    Maintained PIRs and Ran MRP at the header level, Planned orders are created
    with order type VP at levels of BOM structure. Thus cannot covert planned orders
    to production orders without having sales order.
    But my understanding of Strategy Group 50, is BOM components can be produced before hand (i.e.
    before sales orders are recieved ). Now planned orders with order type VP not able to convert
    planned orders to prod orders at BOM component level

    Intially maintained Individual/Collective indicator to "2" at header level (FERT), which is why all the planned orders are created with order type VP
    Changed the Individual/Collective indicator to "blank " at header level (FERT), and maintained Individual/Collective indicator  to "2" at component level
    Reran the MRP (MDO2), with the following settings --> Delete and Recreate planning data and Check mark on  Also plan on unchanged components
    Able to see planned orders at component level with order type LA
    Due points have been assigned

  • Cannot change Colour within a picture

    I have tried to change the colour of the sky in a picture, the origianl sky is a washed out white due to poor weather conditions.
    I have used the colour picker in the adjustmentstab and when i try to sample the origianl sky is comes up with a Hue of 0 and the main colour is RED ???
    and also i cannot change this colour, what am i doing wrong?

    Hi John.
    I will happily be corrected, but the information you're getting from Ir. Bob is misleading.
    Aperture is an image development program.  One of it's core design principles is that it doesn't add data to an image -- it takes the existing data and adjusts it.  This is why there is no "editing" in Aperture.  In Aperture, one makes "adjustments".
    Those adjustments (almost) all follow this pattern:
         original pixel values * adjustment parameter = adjusted pixel value
    The original pixel value for your sky is, apparently, red.  This happened when you took the photograph.  You have, in photography parlance, "blown the highlights"  This isn't the forum to explain that, but you will most certainly want to research what that means and how to avoid it in the future.
    Blown highlights can sometimes be recovered from the RAW data using the "Recovery" slider in the Exposure Brick.
    From what you say, I don't think this will work for your image.
    Since your highlights are blown, you will want to add blue to the image.  That kind of operation is not done with Aperture.  You will need to use a Graphics Editing package (such as Photoshop or any of the free or inexpensive programs like it).  Graphics Editors combine graphics elements.  They allow you to add data to images.
    My reply covers a lot of basic concepts.  I strongly suggest some books or a course on photography as you move forward with Aperture.

  • Change Management Package

    Hello All,
    I am looking at the Oracle Change Management package and I see the overall process of baselines, comparisons, and synchronizations.
    I thought in a previous version I was able to put in my own DDL (like an ALTER TABLE) and make that part of a plan that I could then use the Change Management Package to deploy to various databases & schemas.
    Am I mistaken? If not, has the functionality been deprecated or has it been replaced/updated with something else?
    I still have a need to do that sort of thing and having the Change Management package help me manage that would be "optimal".

    Hi Craig:
    Change manager added a capability similar to the one you describe in 12c Cloud Control. You can create a change plan and populate the change plan with specific changes and synchronize them to a destination database. To do this you need to create a change plan in EM and you can populate it with changes from SQL Developer, from another EM Change Manager Comparison, or by capturing a change to a single object.   • Interchangeability and planning package

    Hi - why does any change in the interchangeability group does a check on the planning package - with this: it throws an error sometimes that 'package doesn't exist' and the only way is to delete and recreate the group (if the workaround of blocking, changing and unblocking doesn't work - as the error sometimes comes while blocking itself). Also, my understanding is that this package gets updated when you involve a particular product/location in some interchnageability group, so: how does it get removed later consequently giving this error?

    I've checked trace files and logs,

  • FRM-40208: Form running in query-only mode. Cannot change database fields.

    Hi,
    I am using forms 6i where it is calling a form from a menu in query like call_form(,query_only). Now an error is occurring on call of that form ‘FRM-40208: Form running in query-only mode. Cannot change database fields.’ Though this is been handled to give a certain message from on_error message from a package from library.
    Now the issue is that the error keeps on popping even after the ok button is pressed. There are number of records from the table. How can we handle the error. Any suggestion would be really appreciated!!!

    thanks Gred but i have resolved the issue. it seems that each row was going into query_only mode (program written such a way). therefore the error was showing even after the OK button. handled the issue from ON_ERROR trigger. anyway thanks for your time Gred!

  • Big Permissions Problem: "You Cannot Change The Contents Of This Folder"

    I installed Tiger some time ago (and need to upgrade now from 10.4.6 to 10.4.9).
    I haven't used it much since some of my software will only run under Panther.
    In any case, I'm using it now and have been having big permissions/user accounts problems.
    I have two users on the computer "robert" and "ra", both with admin privileges (I set up two because I was trying to get around these problems -- I'd be very happy with just one).
    I have 10.4.6 installed on an external HD and boot from that into Tiger (I have Tiger on another external HD as a backup, and my main HD in the iMac has 10.3.9 -- that's what I boot from when I need to run older programs).
    In any case, both "robert" and "ra" have ADMIN privileges. But I get weird ownership problems. For instance, if I am logged in as "ra" and try to play a Realplayer file streaming from the web (in Firefox 1.x), I get the error
    /Users/robert/Desktop/307e6wz7 could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.
    I check the ownership of the "Desktop" folder -- read/write for "ra".
    If I right-click I can save the Realplayer file to the desktop.
    Same with other links.
    I've also noticed other ownership problems (blocked folders at finder level) but can't duplicate tonight. Is this an obscure error, or is there something amiss in ownership recognition? Is there some way I can sort all out? Login in as "root" and set all right?

    Yes they do. When you installed them you dragged these particular apps to the Applications folder. Doing so automatically attributes the program with the ownership attributes of the account owner who installed them - 'robert.'
    Proper application installers install apps under the system/admin ownership. You can try to fix these apps by changing their permissions:
    Select the app and CTRL-click to open the contextual menu. Choose Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Select the Contents folder and press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Ownership and Permissions section click on the tiny arrow icon to expose the panel. Click on the little lock icon to authenticate. Change permissions as follows:
    Owner = system with Read/Write privileges
    Group = admin with Read/Write privileges
    Other with Read-Only privileges
    Click on the Apply To Enclosed Items button. Close the lock by clicking again on the lock icon.

    I am using How to Document "How To Display All Comments for a Planning Package" to display comments for list of "cost center" against different "fiscal/year" for Key Figure "Budget Amount".
    Below is how the Layout looks like where comments are posted against Cost Center- year combination.

    This case is very similar to the example given in how to document but after following all the steps correctly in the document and also followings various forum links such as below , I am not able to display the comments for list of Cost Centers.

    Below are the issues being faced:
    1) When i save the comments , the icon for comments (indicating that some comments have been entered) is not shown against selection of Cost Center-Year although the comment is saved.Comment are  also visible in BPS0.
    2) On execution "Web interface could not be loaded" - is the message that is shown in the area where BPS application should show all the comments.
    Highly Appreciate any help with issues mentioned above.

    Hello Robin,
    1) please check if you set the row/cell selection property correctly for the layout component in the web interface.
    2) the error does not make sense since the comments are displayed in an iframe using a BSP application, not a web interface. Check the URL in the HTML text component.
