    I would recommend reading this before posting here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/adf-methodology/PzncJBPMFDw/7mxNblt_ppYJ
    You give far to little detail about the scenario.
    Is it an OOTB taskflow that you extended. If so, which one and what parameter did you add + how did you do it.
    How did you deploy to spaces
    There are a lot of steps in that process that can go wrong so don't expect us to come up with an answer based upon this basic information.

  • Cannot pass parameter to servlet

    dear all,
    I am writing a MIDlet to post some data to a servlet.At the MIDlet, i set as below:
    String url = getAppProperty("Login.URL");
    conn = (HttpConnection)Connector.open(url);
    conn.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.POST);
    conn.setRequestProperty("User-Agent", "Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0");
    conn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type","application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
    conn.setRequestProperty("Accept", "application/octet-stream" );
    conn.setRequestProperty("Connection", "close" );
    os = conn.openOutputStream();
    byte data [] = ("userid="+userid.getString()).getBytes();
    os.write(data);
    data = ("&password="+password.getString()).getBytes();
    os.write(data);
    os.flush();
    At the servlet, I coded:
    String id = request.getParameter("userid"),
    pass = request.getParameter("password");
    When i posted "userid=123&password=123" to the servlet, the servlet directed me to 'LoginFail.jsp' with below output:
    Login fail!
    null //should be print out userid and password value
    can anyone please give me some suggestions, why the servlet cannot locate parameter and how to solve it?
    thanx a lot!

    <p>wongyuenmei</p>
    <p>I've done some similar program. I'm not sure why request.getParameter() won't return the value we past. However, I managed to resolve the problem with the following way:</p>
    <p>Remain your MIDlet code. But change your servlets to use the following rather request.getParameter()</p>
    <pre>
    ServletInputStream sis = request.getInputStream();
    DataInputStream din = new DataInputStream(sis);
    String id = din.getUTF();
    String pass = din.getUTF();
    </pre>

  • CProject user cannot edit (confirm) their assigned tasks

    Dear Experts,
    we are facing an unexpected behaviour on cProjects: project user cannot edit (confirm) their assigned tasks, because the authorizations at the task level for user appear as Read (authorizations view on task), while on the project definition, for the same tasks the user is assigned Write permissions. Something must be happening in between that we are not getting right.
    More details on the configuration behind and the process:
    - In Project definition level, project roles (coming from a project template) are staffed to users (business partners)
    - Project roles coming from project template are assigned to a project role type with Default authorization set as Read. Because we want all project users to be able to access in read mode to the whole project and tasks; and then be able to edit (Confirm) only their assigned tasks. Except for the project manager role, who has a different project role type assigned wih Admin default authorization set
    - After making the staffing at project level, this seems to be working fine: all project users have read access assigned at project structure level and rest of tasks, except the project manager who has Admin authorization. And for each task, the user assigned to the task has write permissions.
    - But when a user open the task from the tasks dashboard, and go to the Authorizations tab, then the user has Read permission for the same task, which causes the consequence of not being able to Edit and Confirm.
    Can you guide us to understand why the Write authorization is being overriden to Read at user access? Should not the default authorization “read” at project role type be overwritten by the assignment of the user to the task?
    Maybe is there other configuration setting that is missing or needs to be checked?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Roberto

    Thanks Ravi, I answer your questions:
    1) How did you give write access? - Manually in ACL-Authorisations tab or through selection of responsible role/person in basic tab.
    we use the second option. We create projects from templates that have roles assigned to tasks. After we complete staffing in the project, we assign users (business partners) to each project role. After this, automatically, users are assigned as task Responsible and receive their tasks assigned in the task dashboard.
    Question here: since we do not use Resources, the field responsible resource is not used/filled- Is this required?
    2) Whether the task accessed by the user is in 'Released' status?
    yes, tasks are released, so that ther users receive the task in Tasks Dashboard, but due to the permissions issue, they cannot confirm task
    The only possible workaround we have found to solve the issue is to assign Write authorizations to all users, but at project level. So the consequence is that users can edit all the project tasks (not only their assigned tasks) and we want to avoid that. We want users to have read access to whole project and write access to their assigned tasks (by staffinf Users to roles)
    thanks again for help.
    best regards,
    Roberto

  • Configurable parameter of ccBPM for time out

    Hi,
    We are using ccBPM for collection files based on some correlation and we have set-up  a deadline branch for a particular time interval to collect files.
    We want to set the time out parameter as aconfigurable parameter so that everytime we dont need to touch ccBPM and can make changes in ID.
    i have tried using this but in deadline branch I can only define numeric value..
    Could you please tell me if we have any other way to implement this or we cannot use configurable parameter for deadline branch time duration?
    Thanks in Advance
    Best Regards,
    Harleen Kaur Chadha

    Hi Harleen Kaur Chadha,
    I understand your requirement is to collect messages for particular time period (like standard pattern BpmPatternCollectTime). And, if this time period changes, you want implement the changes without editing ccBPM.
    As far as I know, it is not possible. I do not recommend you to think about it, because, the time duration for which messages should be collected will not change every day in actual business scenario. I guess once you define time period based on business and technical details, it will be constant. Letu2019s say if it changes once in a blue moon, then edit the ccBPM. If you want more control on size of message getting collected you can combine these patterns [Link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/08/16163ff8519a06e10000000a114084/frameset.htm ]

  • How to pass request parameter to bounded task flow?

    Hi, this is probably a simple question, but just not sure how this should be done. I have a .jspx that contains an ADF region for a bounded task flow. The task flow has a required input parameter, e.g. objectId. I want to be able to pass a request parameter that's sent into the .jspx page to the task flow. For example, Test.jspx?id=123 should pass 123 for the objectId input parameter of the task flow.
    When adding the ADF region to the page, the Edit Task Flow Binding dialog prompted for a value for the objectId input parameter. I wasn't sure what I can put for the value so I just hard-coded something like 123 for now. So in the page definition file, sometihng like the following got added:
        <taskFlow id="testtaskflow1"
                  taskFlowId="/WEB-INF/taskflow/test/test-task-flow.xml#test-task-flow"
                  activation="deferred"
                  xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/binding">
          <parameters>
            <parameter id="objectId" value="123"/>
          </parameters>
        </taskFlow>I'm wondering is there some EL expression I can use for the parameter value that gets the value of the id request parameter passed into the .jspx? Thanks.

    you have to use it like.. #{bean.idValue} and in the getter of the id Value use it like
    private int idValue;
    //setter
    //getter
    public int getIdValue(){
              HttpServletRequest request =
                (HttpServletRequest)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequest();
            int id = request.getParameter("id");
           return id;
    }

  • I seem to have lost some of my settings and now I cannot configure my airport connection. How do I get my settings back?

    Hello. First time using this. Still trying to figure out how to post my questions. I seem to have lost some of my settings and now I cannot configure my airport connection. How do I get my settings back?

    If you are using cable and a Nethear router sounds like from the information you provide before your Airport setting are setup improperly. PPoE is not something a cable service would need to work. Fallow the steps I will provide bellow, I will add some screen shots also to assist if necessary.
    1 - Open System Preferences from  (Menu)
    2 - Click "Network"
    3 - From the Network window you are going to wanna make sure Location is : Automatic and Show is : Airport
    4 - Once the Show: Airport is select you should see a window like this, my window is selected for Ethernet simply because I am no longer running Tiger but the window will look the same.
    5 - You will want to click on the PPPoE tab and you should see this
    6 - You're gonna wanna make sure " connection using PPPoE " is not select, if it is make sure to uncheck this option
    7 - Once this is uncheck make sure to click "Apply Now"
    8 - You will want to click back on to the "TCP/IP" tab and make sure IPv4 is set to " Using DHCP "
    9 - If the option to " Apply Now" is available again please click this
    10 - Once this is done go to your Aiport Menu and see if your network is listed and select your network and eneter the password if necessary.
    11 - If after these steps you still have issues I would recommend Power Cylcing your Router and Modem for about 5 minutes
    12 - Make sure all lights are off when unplugging the Router and the Modem
    13 - Some Modems have backup batterys so you may have to push in a tiny button on the back with a pin

  • Cannot convert parameter 1 from 'InterfacePtr IFace ' to 'const IPMUnknown *'

    Hello,
    I am getting this error when trying to get a interface pointer through another interface. how to solve it? Do any one have any idea?
    cannot convert parameter 1 from 'InterfacePtr<IFace>' to 'const IPMUnknown *'

    Hi there.
    I've had this problem a few times, but with other interfaces. What I do - but I don't know if this is the right way to do... It works, though :) - I cast it to IPMUnknown*.
    For example:
    InterfacePtr<IPageList> iPageList((IPMUnknown*)document, UseDefaultIID());

  • WDA application configuration parameter Stylesheet URI not working

    Hi Experts,
      I created an application configuration for a webdynpro ABAP application and populated theme path for parameter Stylesheet URI on application configuration. However when I execute the application using this application configuration, the application does not pick up the theme.
      If I pass the same path using URL parameter SAP-EP-THEMEROOT, it works. Also it works if I maintain it as URL parameter in SPRO
      However for my requirement I need it to work specifically from application / application configuration parameter. Has anyone faced this problem and found a solution?
    Thanks in Advance

    I believe you need a redirect if you want to change between SSL and non-SSL.
    How about something in the line of (example with code 404):
    <If $code=404 && $security>
      Error fn="redirect" url="http://oursite/error.html"
    </If>.. where +$security+ means SSL.
    About the Error and URI, it seems uri="/error.html" would work, but it will not switch you from SSL to non-SSL.
    I'm curious why you would want to redirect a user to the non-SSL instance in this scenario..

    dir | rename-item -newname {if ($_.name -match '\d{4,5}\-\d{5}\s\-\s(.+)\s\-\s.+\s\-\s.+'){$name=$matches[1]; -replace '.+', "$name";}}
    This works in that the file and/or directory names are changed, but it also gives me the error:
    Rename-Item : Cannot evaluate parameter 'NewName' because its argument input did not produce any output.
    At C:\...\FileStrip.ps1:1 char:28
    + dir | rename-item -newname {if ($_.name -match '\d{4,5}\-\d{5}\s\-\s(.+)\s\-\s.+ ...

        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : ScriptBlockArgumentNoOutput,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.RenameItemCommand
    I'm not sure how to fix this. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    ok, thanks.
    You've avoided the whole 'use the piped data implicitly' thing by the explicit ForEach. I'm ok with that, but I'm still curious how to get the non-ForEach version to not error.
    Anyway, what you provided almost worked. I modified to be this:
    dir -file |
       Where{$_.name -match '\d{4,5}\-\d{5}\s\-\s(.+)\s\-\s.+\s\-\s.+'} |
       ForEach-Object{
            $match=$matches[1]
            $newname=$_.Name -replace '.+', "$match"
            Rename-item $_ $newname
    to get it working properly.
    But it looks like the simplest form is:
    dir -file |
       Where{$_.name -match '\d{4,5}\-\d{5}\s\-\s(.+)\s\-\s.+\s\-\s.+'} |
       ForEach-Object{
            Rename-item $_ $matches[1]
