Cannot create template in Keynote

Hello all!
I've created a theme in Keynote and under 'File' I've selected 'Save Theme...'. So far, this process has been pretty simple and easy.
The issue comes in when I open the template. In the 'Theme Chooser' my theme is listed at the very bottom with a preview of it. When I select it, I get a blank slide with a couple of placeholders. Any idea what could be going on here?

You need to create new master slides for a custom theme and apply those to the slide you are working on
view > show master slides
right click in the navigator panel and choose > new master slide
add the content you need
file > save theme

Keynote comes with a number of built-in templates, but I would really like to be able to use my own standard format. Is it possible to create or upload a template onto the iPad?

To "set default attributes", you need to change the background colour and formatting under the Slides Master.
Choose *View > Show Master Slides* to see the master slides for the theme. You will see the master slides organiser at the left of the screen, just above your slides organiser.
Select any thumbnail of the master slides (e.g. Title & Subtitle), do any formatting as you desire, when you're done, you can close the master slides organiser by clicking on *View > Hide Master Slides*.
If you want to save the new formatting as a theme, choose *File > Save Theme...* (before closing the master slides organiser) and save the theme under a preferred name. Keynote themes are stored at +/Username/Library/Application Support/iWork/Keynote/Themes/+ folder.

As my understanding, your development and production environments are two (two way) trusted domains in one forest, and the SharePoint instance was built on the development domain. If this is the truth, please first verify whether your production domain account
profile has been imported into the user profile service application. If it is not, refer to the following article to check the configuration of your user profile synchronization.

If your user profile can be searched correctly, the issue might be caused by fact that the people picker search was limited to the development domain. Please use the following command to configure the people picker search domains:

BPC "The system cannot create the journal template"

I am trying to create a Journal template in BPC but whatever I do I get the error message "The system cannot create the journal template"
I am running BPC 5.1 and have tried with service pack 1 and now with service pack 5 installed. The system is on SQL Server 2000.
Has anyone come past this problem?

Please check how many sheets are in a default excel workbook on your client. If less than three, BPC fails to create the journal template. If that's the case, try setting default number of worksheets to 3, then retry journal template creation.
If the above is not the issue, then you'll have to check that reporting services is working correctly. As a first step, go to http://<app server name>/reportserver (or reportserver$<instancename> if you are using a reporting services instance and left it with the default name)
If that page compiles and shows without error, then try http://<app server name>/ reports (or reports$<instance name>) If that one also compiles/doesn't give errors, then reporting services is working.

While creating the journal template for my legalapplication using wizard i get the following error
"The system cannot create journal template"
am using category, group and time as my header dimension --
group dimension contains the LC.
please suggest what steps can be taken. Also while trying to access journal from etools we get the message journal not found.

Win2012 R2, SC 2012 R2; Cannot create VM template

Scenario:
Hardware: HP DL360G7 fully updated with 80GB RAM, 32 Procs, 120GB as boot from SAN, 750GB P2000 G3 SAN LUN as CSV
Windows Server 2012 R2 DE installed and updated, then installed and configured MPIO, Hyper-V and Fail Over Cluster (1 node cluster)
Installed 3 VMs running Windows Server 2012 R2 SE with:
1 Gen2 VM with SQL 2012 SP1 SE
1 Gen2 VM with System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 R2
1 Gen1 VM with only Windows Server 2012 R2 SE to fully updated (to be used as template)
SCVMM installed no errors, imported cluster with no error, create VM with no error. When I try to create a VM template from I get this error.

What have I Done so far?
-uninstall and re-import host node
-winrm quickconfig
-firewall with 443,5985 and 5986
-reinstalled whole SCVMM
-reboot host node
-check event viewer, no errors
-check cluster node on vmm, no errors

Cannot create mysites from powershell: Original XSLT List View Web Part not found

I have a bizarre problem in my SharePoint 2013 farm. This does not occur in my test farm, only in the farm we were going to go live with.
I'm on windows Server 2012, SQLServer 2012 SP1, SharePoint 2013 April CU. 1 appserver/centraladmin server, 2 web servers.
When I log into our mysitehost and click newsfeed, it will create a mysite (even though first it displays "we are sorry there was a problem creating your site")
But from powershell, whether I use $UserProfile.CreatePersonalSite() or New-SPSite, I get the following error:
Original XSLT List View Web Part not found
So far I've only found one other person with this:

This is a brand new farm, created with the same scripts I created my test farm with, and same version of SharePoint. Only the service accounts are different. (Farm account has admin on the servers right now since I was setting up profile service).
Some other errors from the same correlation ID that look related:
It can't seem to find the listemplate 101
And something looks wrong with the MySiteDocumentLibrary feature
I have tried the following:
1. run psconfig.exe on each server
2. install-spfeature -AllExistingFeatures
3. looped through the directory under Features and for each called Install-SPFeature $dirname -Force
4. uninstalled and reinstalled MySiteDocumentLibrary feature
5. blew away the whole farm (removed all servers from farm, deleted all databases) and recreated it.
6. tried creating the UPA from the CentralAdmin gui.
The only real difference I can think of between the working farm and non working farm is, I installed the working farm using RTM, then as they came out added the March PU and April CU. For this farm I installed RTM and March and April, and then ran my build
farm script.
I am at a loss. What do I need to do, re-install the binaries? That's all I can think of. What I love is that our test / POC system worked fine, and now 2 weeks before go-live I'm seeing errors on the production servers I've never seen before. Using the
same scripts no less.

I've had other problems in this farm: the bug where when you add Administrators to a Search Service via the Manage Service Applications page, it removes the SPSearchDBAdmin role from the search service process account. That one did not happen in the other farm.
At least other people have that one and I could just use the farm admin instead (still troublng of course).

Here is the problem:
When creating a mysite from powershell or script, apparently you can ONLY do this from a wfe (or a server running Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application in services on server).
You CANNOT create mysites from script on your appserver if it is not also a Web Application Server. I confirmed the same is true in my test farm. I guess I was always running most of these scripts on the webserver.
I searched all over and cannot find this documented anywhere.
Who do I contact to have Microsoft document this?

Help cannot create standard iviews

I am super admin. logged into portal this morning tried to create iviews, could not see any template. in the PCD, I have checked permissions all is fine. but i still cannot create anything.

well you could go through the following points to solve the issue, I once had the same issue and it was solved in a very microsoft way....yes you guessed it.... just do a plain and simple restart if you can. It should solve it.
The other steps you can do are as follows:
1) check the permissions on your users and then the PCD objects of the iview templates. see id the permissions match. usually this can also be cause.
2) Check Portal permissions for the required zones.

I cannot create TOC in IBA

Hello all,
I had created a book using IBA2. The book is set on chapters. After I finished my book I noticed I cannot create TOC. All I have in TOC when going to Inspector are some things that I do not use nor I need. Based on their Help section I should set what paragraph styles I want to be included into TOC. But I see no such option at all.
Could you be so kind and help me solve this out?

As for your question, I have not seen a TOC withouth the ability to add/remove paragraph style. Even if you remove all para styles from the document TOC inspector, you can always add them back in. There may be a bug with the template you are using. That would be pretty unfortunate since you can't aplpy another template to an existing book. Sorry I can't help more.

Cannot Create Instance Error

I am using 11gR1, I am trying to run an application created out of a project template. I was able to successfully deploy both the composite and UI, When I login as initiator and click on the process link I am getting "cannot create instance error".
In EM, the Instance shows that its been faulted and has the following message.
ORABPEL-10513 Cannot get application roles from application identified by "{0}". An error occured while getting application roles from application identified by "OracleBPMProcessRolesApp". The underlying APIs threw an exception. Check the error stack and fix the cause of the error. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.
All the organization roles have been created properly. Can anyone please tell me what could be the cause of this error. Thanks

Cannot create your bootable usb stick

Hi all,
I'm new to bootcamp and I have the following problem:
When I'm creating a Windows 7 usb drive, it gives me an error "Cannot create your bootable usb stick there was a problem copying files".
I've tried searching google for the problem, but the only possible solutions I've got was to unmount the iso image and try again, but when I do that I still get the same error and when I check the disk utility I find the iso image is mounted again.
Does anyone haven an idea about what to do.
Specs:
OS X Yosemite 10.10.2
MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch Mid 2014
2,6Ghz Core i%
8 GB 1600 MHz ddr3

Bootcamp Windows 8.1 "No Images Are Available"

Cannot create recovery disk after update to Win 8.1 on G580

Friends
I have a Lenovo G580 that came with Win 8.0 preinstalled. I upgraded it to Win 8.1 over the Internet.
When I try to run the "Create recovery disk" I get the error that states that "We cannot create a recovery drive for this PC. Some required files are missing..."
I found out that the winre.wim file that is supposed to be in the C:\Windows\System32\Recovery folder is not there. I cannot locate it anywhere on the C or D drives either. I believe there is a copy on one or more of the recovery partitions but I do not know how to get that file from those partitons.
I am confused as to why there are seven partitions on that one drive:
1 Recovery partition 1000 MB
2 EFI system partition 260 MB
3 OEM partition 1000 MB
4. Recovery partition 350 MB
5. Recovery partition 20 GB
6. Lenovo D: 25 GB
7. Windows 8 C: 250 GB
Can someone help me and give me some instructions on how I can fix the system to find the winre.wim file?

I’m sorry to hear that the error message is displayed in your G580 Laptop, as the OS (Operating System) installed is Windows 8.1 or Windows 8. Recovery discs cannot be created only a “Recovery Media” can be created using USB Flash drive, below is the link to create USB recovery drive.
