Cannot display R12 login page

Hi All,
I have read several threads pertaining to the problem that i am facing and tried all the solutions but no luck in Displaying Login page.
I have upgraded Oracle EBS from 11.5.9 to 12.1.1 but i am stuck at this problem.
I did following steps:
1. EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN
2. Run the Autoconfig on DB Tier and Apps Tier
3. Cleared the cache and compiled all the JSPs
4. Also generated the JAR files
5. started the MiddleTier Applications.
I constantly see following error under application.log of oracore
html: LeakSetting:
global:true,session:false,aggressive:false,stderr:false,appslog:false,co
relog:false
ignoring:null
Apache logs show following error (*access.log*)

Hi,
I have upgraded Oracle EBS from 11.5.9 to 12.1.1 but i am stuck at this problemDid the upgrade complete successfully with no errors?
Can you find any errors in the database log file?
Please enable debug as per (Note: 422419.1 - R12, 12.1.1 - How To Enable and Collect Debug for HTTP, OC4J and OPMN) and see if more details are collected in the logs then.
Regards,
Hussein

I made a big mistake to change the setting of my Mac book pro to "me only". Now ofcourse It cannot open the login page, for how would the mac know it is me? How can I change the setting back to "everyone"? I have back up in the past but the last month I have not. I really want to keep the data.
So how can I go in and change the setting, It stays ofcourse at the apple screen with wheel. All info is there and the computer works fine, just cannot use it or have been able to log in.

wjosten is spot on.  If you really want iCloud, then you will need to acquire a new or second hand MBP that can run Lion.
    Ciao.

  • IE browser and Web Cache and SSL - Internet Explorer cannot display the web page

When using IE8, IE9, or IE10 with Web Cache and SSL certain pages which display a lot of data returns the error - "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page."
if we eliminate SSL but continue to use Web Cache, the error does *not* reproduce & If we eliminate Web Cache altogether the error again does *not* reproduce.  The error is only reproducible when we use SSL with Web Cache and if we use IE and we access *large* pages. The error is not reproducible with Firefox or Chrome. This is a Web Tier 11.1.1.7 installation with WebLogic 10.3.6 & Red Hat Enterprise 5 Linux x86-64

    Hello ,
    Try Below Workarounds:
    Workaround 1:
    Open Central Admin
    àApplication Management  à
Configure Alternate access mapping-->Edit your web application zone and add your server name in Intranet zone. So default can be serverIP and intranet could be servername.
    Workaround 2:
Might be there is some issue with DNS and try to check that WebApplication is pointing to correct IP or not.
Also try to access your Sharepoint site using ip Address .. If you still gets error Kindly share the logs ..
    Best

  • "Internet Explorer Cannot Display the web Page

    on August 7th
I purchased a brand new computer that has
    Vista Home premium on it,
To date I have not been unable to open this program.
I have been looking for help ever since,
I have been all over the net, I have tried
    Lenovo sites.
I tried to call Lenovo, unfortunately I got no help there,
    as I am deaf.
I looked through this site, in the hope that someone
who might have experienced this can help.
The Welcome center comes up when I start the Computer.
when I click on Internet explorer this is what I get.
Internet Explorer Cannot Display the web Page"
    Most likely Causes:
*You are not connected to the Internet.
    * The web site is encountering problems.
    * There might be a typing error in the address.
    "What can you try"
    'Diagnose Connection Problems"
I did this and this is what I got.
Windows did not find any problems with this
    Computer's network connection.
I tried more suggestions, and got more of the same.
    I tried everything that looks promising, to no avail;
    Please help if you can, it would be much appreciated;

    Victoria,
There are a few reasons that the error may come up. The first thing that I need to ask is when you say "I have been all over the net, I have tried Lenovo sites.', is this on the new computer? (i.e.. You are able to browse the internet, but get the error every time you initially launch Internet Explorer)
If so, the likely issue is that the particular web site that your home page is set too is invalid or is encountering problems.

  • Cannot display the iRecruitment page

    Dear Expert
We are facing a issue in iRecruitment.
When we go to our career website following error occurs.
    Error: Cannot Display Page
You cannot complete this task because one of the following events caused a loss of page data.Possible Causes:
You have left your login session idle past the timeout period.
    A system failure has occurred.
The application server is incorrectly configured and does not send a session cookie to the client browser.
If you were testing in JDeveloper:
JDeveloper OC4J process did not fully shut down before restarting the application.
You closed one of the Internet Explorer browser windows while the request is being processed in another Internet Explorer window. Closing an Internet Explorer window causes OC4J to expire a user session.
OC4J XML files in your JDeveloper user home system directory have been modified or corrupted.
    Action:
For the first two causes listed above, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu. Then access this page again using the application's navigation controls (menu, links, and so on) instead of using the browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.
If you suspect that the application server is incorrectly configured, contact your system administrator.
If you were testing in JDeveloper and suspect that you encountered one of the causes listed above, go to JDeveloper menu and select the option Run | Terminate to terminate the OC4J process. Then re-run your application. If you still encounter this error, exit JDeveloper and remove the user home system directory. Then restart JDeveloper and re-run your application.
Please let me know how we can resolve this issue.
Your support will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards
    Syed

    Hi Kotakonda_L,
Is Infoview viewable for you - is the problem only with the CMC?
Which web browser (version) are you using?
Have you tried with an alternative web browser?
Please check this also from the Microsoft web site:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2293762
The last thing would be that if neither CMC or BI Launchpad are loading then it could be a problem with the war files - have you redeployed the Infoview and CMC war files?
I would recommend that you check out the Microsoft resolution first as that seems a more probable factor.
I hope this is a helpful answer to you.
    Kind regards,
    John

I am trying to implement solution as per doc id: 414170.1. However when i try to run autoconfig at database level, it was throwing error that it is unable to connect to database.
Then I checked listener status using "lsnrctl status". I do see instance listener in BLOCKED status.
When I check metalink for the BLOCKED status reason, they asked to restart the database in OPEN mode.
I am trying to login to database but it says "ORA-12560 TNS:protocol adapter error". When I try to STOP and START (using lsnrctl start command), it shows as "The listener supports no services".

From the above errors, it seems the database port is used by some other application, so I would suggest the following:
    - Reboot the machine and see if you can start the listener
    - If you still get the same error, change the port number in listener.ora file to something other than 1521 (for example, 1522) and try to start the listener then

  • HT3867 My iPhone won't display the login page for public wireless hotspots

My iPhone 4S does not load the login pages of public wifi hotspots. It has not always done this for I cn remember a using it afew times. Help please before I break this phone lol

One possibility is that you have specified DNS servers in your Network preferences. (Network Preferences  -> Advanced -> DNS, see if anything is specified.) If so, you want to create a new network location which doesn't have any DNS servers defined. (Network Preferences  -> Location -> Edit Locations.)  Create a new one (click the + sign), and use that  location when logging on to public WiFi hotspots.
The other (and worse) problem might be a security feature added to OS 10.7.2 and higher versions.
Apple found out that a hacker could fool you into accepting a bogus "update" via a fake Software Update pop-up.  The fix was to rig the OS so that, when you connect to a wifi network, a Mac running the new and improved OS will silently "phone home" to an IP address at apple.com, and inquire about the hotspot's certificate. If it fails to get back a message declaring the hotspot's certificate to be valid, it assumes that the hotspot login popup is fake, and won't let you proceed.  The permanent solution is for the hotspot's "captive portal system" to allow Macs to connect to the Apple host, so that the OS can do the verification.  Most public WiFi systems have made the adjustment, but there are quite a few (including many schools) who are behind the curve.  If this is your issue, tell whoever runs the network to get with the program!
While waiting for that to happen, you can always copy the login page url from a PC (or older Mac OS) that is able to access the hotspot, paste it into your address bar, and take it from there.  (Truncate the url at the first question mark . . . the ? and all the junk that comes after it are likely to be specific to the machine you copied it from.  You'll see a fresh bunch of junk materialize, as the site talks to your Mac.)

    2. AS 10g R2 on Windows XP SP2
    3. AS 10g (9.0.4) on Windows XP SP2
All of the services of infrastructure and Middle tier are working properly , no error massages , even from IE , but always when I'm accessing the portal
by http://<host>:<port>/pls/portal , I can see only the tab that contains 'welcome' but nothing else , just white page , I tried to access it from remote client also its still the same
(note : http://<host>:<port>/discoverer/plus is displaying properly)
any body have an idea ?

    Hi,
If all the services pertaining to AS Portal are started then navigate to the page where all the components are listed. From there select Portal and try accessing the Portal home page. Some times the direct access to the portal as mentioned by you will not work.
    Regards,

  • Safari cannot view citibank login page

I am having trouble logging into the citibank web page to view my account information online. I get an error message that says:
---"This application is certified for use with Internet Explorer versions 6.0 and above. We apologize for any inconvenience. "----
    https://home.cards.citidirect.com/
Are there any fixes out there for websites like this?
I am currently using Safari version 4.0.5.
I have tried Google Chrome and Firefox, and get the same message.

Citybank do not wish to have clients that user Apple computers.
Some banks are notoriously uncaring and lazy about what systems and browsers they support.

As it says in this document:

"Safari complies with standards, but not all browsers do. This article explains how to design, modify and validate your website so that it can be rendered and read properly by all major browsers."
The bank/s need to read this:
"Safari is one of the most standards-compliant browsers ever built. Thus, your best bet for ensuring your pages render properly in Safari — today’s version and beyond — is to follow web standards. For a great overview of web standards, check out Mozilla.org’s article Using Web Standards in Your Web Pages."

  • Wireless is Connected but cannot display a web page

Hello, I am trying to setup the wireless router WRT54G2S for a friend who has Satellite service.  I can connect to the wireless network and I can ping websites like yahoo and google but I can't get anything to open up on the browser.  The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L505D-5369, it is running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8.  I have the same issue whether directly wired to the router or through wireless.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Linksys says that it's a Browser problem, but I connected my IBM T61 with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6 via wireless and get the same results.  Thanks

I had a similar problem on my WildBlue satellite system -- I was using a WRT54GS router that worked fine, but thought I would try a model 110 Linksys N router and could not get it to display "anything" on my IE browser no matter what I tried
So I went back to the #54 router all was well again
I don't know what Satellite I-net system you are using, but if you have access to a different router, you might try it and see if it works, because like I said, I tried "everything" I could think of - and I couldn't get the #110 router to display websites in IE, even though it told me I was connected to the network
    Good Luck!!

    Hi
    Try this.
    Interface Configuration -> Advanced Options
    Click checkbox for
    User-Level Downloadable ACLs
    Group-Level Downloadable ACLs
    Click Submit
Then go back to Shared Profile Components and it should now be an option.

  • Message window, "This program cannot display the web page", and there's no close button to delete it. The only way I can get rid of it is to re-start my computer. Any ideas?

Can I send you the jpeg of the message window, please? It's the best way I can describe it. There's a blue-coloured circular icon with a white "i" within the circle, but, as I said, no close button at any of the window corners

Hard restart..  While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button.   Hold them down and keep them held down.  the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen.  keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release.  This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process.  If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off.  Good luck
