Cannot find HP profile on my Laptop to edit scanning

I cannot make any changes to my scan profiles, (change from Jpeg scan to pdf scan etc.) On other forums it states I must go to start, all programs and then click hp, but that is exactly the problem, I cannot find the HP profile Please help, I urgently need to change thisMany Thanks

Make sure that in Settings\General\Restrictions\Accounts that you have the tick in the option 'allow Changes' if Restrictions is active.
Unless your have our mail contacts set on your Mac to sync with another device under account options, (within your laptops mail program) then open iTunes, connect your device, go to its Info page by clicking on our device when t shows and changing from the summary tab to the info tab. Put a tick in 'Sync Contacts with' box, use the panel next to it to select which mail porgram to sync with, select any options available below this (will be greyed out if options are not available for a particular account).
When finished, scroll down the page to Advanced section and put a tick in Contacts box. Click 'Apply' and then 'Sync' to transfer settings.
Your mai programs will now stay in sync across Contacts. settings\General\iCloud Contacts should be on (as you said)
Note that if you use an exchange Mail Server email like Hotmail, then under Settings\Mail, Contacts, Calendars - tap on your Hotmail account under the Accounts setting at the top of the page and turn Contacts on to allow merge and syncing. Not all email accounts will have this option available - but Hotmail does.
Also not that some email accounts accessed through browsers will require you to go through their Settings and Options page to set up the sync of things like Calendars, Contacts and Notes - they are not alway by default given in the Accounts pages of Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your ipad.

Hi, I have tried to download a profile for my D3100 kit lens - Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR but cannot find it in the Adobe Lens Profile downloader.
Adobe says that it is supported (two years ago: see it at this link from October 2010 http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2010/10 )
Since it is listed many places as being supported, it is frustrating that I cannot find it in the Adobe Lens Profile downloader.
Am I doing something wrong? Or can I download that profile without using the downloader. Can I use the lens profile that is shown with a different camera. I see similar lenses under D300 and D90 in the folder with about forty NIKON lens profiles (but only two for the D3100). However, under Lens Correction when I tick Nikon as model then I only see about seven lenses in the drop down list. How can I see the full contents of the folder?
Any help would be appreciated.

PS. I was going to ask where the profiles are stored but luckily I have found them after a search.

I too would like to see this lens profile added to the list in Lightroom, in addition to the Nikon DX AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR. I've found a similar version of the 18-55mm under the D40, but not for the D3200, and I haven't been able to find any profile matching the 55-300; only 55-200.

Startup error: Distiller cannot find ICC Profiles

I'm on Windows 7 with Adobe CS5 Design Premium. This has just started happening recently, and only occurs occasionally, usually disappears after a reboot.
Full message: Distiller cannot find its standard ICC profiles. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat to correct this problem.

Adobe Tech support was most helpful on this. First download the updated
Distiller ICC profile files at:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4075&fileID= 3790
Unzip the file and copy only the *.icc files (without regard to the subfolders that they are in - in other words, take the files out of each of the subfolders) to the followng folder in Windows 7:
c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color
These new files will probably overwrite some old ones.
This solved the problem for me.
This is actually the best solution though I found that instead of copying all the .icc files to the windows\sys... folder, all you need to do is copy the 3 Video files from the RGB folder (VideoHD.icc, VideoNTSC.icc, and VideoPAL.icc). Once you add these three files to c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color you will be good to go.
It seems that this was an error on the part of Adobe in that there is no reason to include Video files for printing. Nevertheless, the distiller will look for these and return the ICC profile error message if those files are not present.

what im trying to do is transfer some photos from my iPad to my iPhone using Transfer via Bluetooth. But it's not working. Yes, I know iCloud should do this, but my wife activated the restrictions on my iPad when she let our son use my ipad, but now can't remember the password. iCloud is now grayed out and nothing is transfering. That's why I'm trying to use transfer. But as I say, it's not working. Neither devise can find the other.

Cannot find my profile folder on new installed TB 31.1.2 and new Mac OS10.9.5, can't get answer in FAQs.

I wish to move all my old mail folders from my old HD to a new HD and system, but can not find Thunderbird profiles in the new OS. I find them on the old HD. Is there a way to move them? Are they hidden files in the new HD and system? If so, how to proceed. Thunderbird is working well otherwise.

You are being directed to an entry on Thunderbird help menu that is called troubleshooting information. In windows that menu looks like this

I don't use apple products, so I simply can not tell you what it looks like on a Mac, but I must assume similar as none of the documentation lists the help menu as containing differences between operating systems. Unlike options and preferences. There is also a three bar application menu on the toolbar which accesses the help menu. via an icon that looks like ?
Once you have located the menu entry and clicked on it you will see an application basics section in a very detailed report on your Thunderbird setup referenced by Zenos.

go to ~/Library/Firefox (the tilde character (~) refers to the current user's Home folder, so ~/Library is the /Macintosh HD/Users/<username>/Library folder)
then find [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profiles.ini_file profiles.ini] file and rename it to profiles.iniOLD , then when you start firefox again, a new default profile folder will be created and only a single profile, the new "default", will be listed in the Profile Manager.
This new "default" profile doesn't contain any of the profile data or settings stored in your old "default" profile folder, which still exists but is no longer accessible from the Profile Manager.
Your existing Firefox user profile data, which includes bookmarks, passwords, cookies, preference settings and added extensions, will no longer appear in the new profile but you can [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox transfer the data from the old profile folder to the new default profile folder].

but, I will backup database (ABAP) with DB13 error:
I find profile backup at /oracle/SID/11203/dbs doest exist.
backup use profile initSID.sap.

Infra team did only the Backup Restore of the Prod system and no Export Import of Prod using the sapinst.
Should I do the export import as it sounds by your and Pavan's reply that it might be required
We are doing Restore for Dual stack first time done the backup restore for ABAP stack a couple of times for ECC Quality refresh.
Should this be the option that I should select in sapinst for JAVA Export and JAVA Import:

I've been using Firefox for a long time with a great pleasure of course. I've got today the same problem as you: my profile can't be loaded, missing or inaccessible. I tried all solutions but it was not OK.
Finally, as yesterday I've played with hiddens files in my home directory, I noticed that my "/home/myuser/.cache" was marked with a little padlock: it was access protected. So I just execute:

and now Firefox is working fine.

Cannot find "tax profile" option in OM customer setup page

When we are setting up a new customer thru Order Management, the "tax profile" button is not available, however it is available in when setting up a customer in AR. We are in 12.1.3 version now.
But in 11i version, we were able to setup customers in both OM and AR without any issues and all selections were the same. So, could any expert clarify me about this issue?

HT201317 I BACKED UP PHOTOS ON IpHONE 4S, BUT CANNOT FIND IN MY iCLOUD ON LAPTOP help !

I went to settings, I did all of the ON buttons, and hit BACK UP NOW, but I thought the pictures were backing up every day.....
now I ;logged into iCLoud and there is no icon for photos. So I went back to SETTINGS, and looked at ALL the buttons, it seems to be set to load them but they arent in iCloud..........HELP...........FIRSTTIMEUSER712 :-)

Photos are backed up to iPhoto. Open iPhoto, set up the iPhoto Library. Enable Photo Stream in iPhoto preferences which is under the iPhoto menu. Click on the iCloud icon to enable it. Be sure to turn it on in your phone, too. Photos you take on your phone will be stored in the Camera Roll. When you sync your phone to the computer using iTunes you can then transfer the camera roll to iPhoto.
The iPhoto Library is backed up with your computer when you perform regular computer backups. If you do not have a backup strategy then see the following:
Basic Backup
For some people Time Machine will be more than adequate. Time Machine is part of OS X. There are two components:
1. A Time Machine preferences panel as part of System Preferences;
2. A Time Machine application located in the Applications folder. It is
     used to manage backups and to restore backups. Time Machine
     requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the
     drive being backed up.
3. Time Machine requires a backup drive that is at least double the
     capacity of the drive(s) it backs up.
Alternatively, get an external drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. Distiller cannot find icc profiles. please reinstall adobe acrobat to correct this problem on Pro X

I am using Adobe CS6 web & design premium.
The problem came about when I was viewing a pdf, while trying to use Wolfram Demonstrations Project http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/index.html.
When I was trying to install the CD, a lot of windows of the icc profles pop-up error kept popping up non-stop. I have no idea why this happens and I think this is a bug in Acrobat Pro X.
Does anyone know how solve this problem?

Did you try reinstalling Adobe Acrobat? I'd just start with a REPAIR (Help menu).

Cannot find profile, profile unavailable

I deleted some Microsoft programs and files, including Explorer.exe, but now, whether for that or some other reason, Firefox won't open. The Profile Manager cannot find my profile. I get the message that its location is unavailable or moved. Does Fire depend on MS Explorer to work?

Itunes 64bit was successfully installed, but I cannot find the application in my pc

The itunes was installed successfully on my laptop, no error message occurred, but I cannot find the itunes in my laptop, I am an IT guy, so I have tried everything I can. the pc just got reinstalled, all the Windows components are ok. The application "Apple application support, Apple software update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour" can be found in Programs and Features in Control panel, except Itunes. Guys, pls help me, i am so frustrated.
