Cannot log anyone onto one computer due to personal certificate error

I have a client who just deployed Lync with Office 365. On one user's computer, no one can log into Lync. If she goes to any other computer, she can log in fine. If another user tries on her computer, they get the same error. It's the error about a personal
certificate. I went through the troubleshooting wizard, deleting the SIP folder, and deleting all the certificates associated with Office or otherwise generated the same day as the Lync install. But it did not work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several
times, with no success. They are using a reseller from Office 365, and contacting their engineers, THEY were unable to assist. Is there anything else to check? The user stated when she saw other people first log in, they had a pop up to accept a certificate.
But she never got one on her computer.

beside Sign-in address, check if you choice “Automatic configuration”. If not, change to it and then test again.
Please also reg delete HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected] /f.

  • Syncing 2 ipods onto one computer

    Hi there. I got the new iTouch awhile ago, and it's only 16 GB. I also have a 80 GB video iPod. Now I'm using the video one more than the iTouch. I want to put the number of times I played a song onto my computer. What I used to do was manually put music onto the iTouch because it was much smaller than the video iPod. So for me to get the play count from the iTouch to my computer, how do I do that? If it involves me placing the iTouch into the computer and making it automatically syncing songs it's ok, I just want the play counts to go onto my computer. Can anyone help me please?

    iTunes will ask you if you want it to make a playlist to use to sync the Touch with, & then it will randomly fill the list with songs. If you want to have a little more control over how the Touch syncs, I would suggest making a couple of playlists to use to sync the Touch with, go to your Preferences when the Touch is docked & change the sync preferences to sync those specific playlists only.

    Acrobat XI Pro has a "create PDF from a web page" feature. If you have Acrobat XI Pro installed perhaps you can "capture" the web form as a PDF. If so then this PDF can (of course) be saved to the local machine's HDD.

  • Move two iTunes accounts onto one computer and keep them separate?

    I recently got a new mac os x lion and I need to put my families iTunes library on it. the problem is that one separate account is on a computer, and the other separate account is on an external hard drive. I need both different accounts on one computer and continue to be separate. Im hoping to be able to log in and out of my own account without disturbing the other one. Thanks in advance for the help!

    Why don't you create a username (at OS level) for each one of the users?  You can then import the contents of each one of the accounts you mention into the appropriate iTunes.

  • Combining two computer itune files onto one computer

    Initially I set up itunes on my home pc. Then I also setup my laptop and started purchasing music on that computer. Now I am trying to combine them onto one so that I can have all my music on my iphone and ipod. As I guess everyone but me knows this is not easily done. Is there a way to make this happen. I bought the music I should not have to buy it twice. itunes allows you to have several computers on your account why don't they allow you to merge the files from those same computers. HELP

    Where is your back up? Do you not combine it there?

    It is easily done.
    You can copy music to a dvd,cd, flash drive, external drive and move it from on computer to another.
    You can use your ipod to move itunes purchases to an authorized computer.
    Go to the top of this page click "Support", the type "move itunes purchases" or similar into the search support bar. You will get articles to help you do this.

  • Site not editable by one computer, ok on others, no errors. ?

    I've got a site up and running. Can be edited from 3 different computers, but one computer cannot. No errors. Can log in, hit "Edit" but nothing happens. No errors. No toolbar appears. (windows machine).  Any info as to browser conflicts or firewalls or whatever appreciated. (trying to get list of that particular computer's setup right now). thanks. JO

    I think it is most likely a browser specific issue (if not a local connection problem)... the code works OK on my end. They need to make sure they have "JavaScript ENABLED". If their browser blocks it (as does most IE browsers by default), it will not load. IE usually pops the warning in the toolbar.
    Do you have ANY custom lines added to your .htaccess file? Any page forwarding on the hosting server?
    I did have some basic problems stemming from invalid and inconsistant markup. I know it doesn't pertain to your question directly, but sometimes it can cause odd behaviors can crop up (other than inconsistant browser behavior, may cause some scripting to break)
    I did some minor changes that I see may cause other problems down the road (since it wouldn't validate as 4.01 Transistional anyway):
    links to js & css now have direct paths to http://
    character set from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8
    4.01 Transitional to XHTML 1.0 Transitional
    externalized ALL CSS (created "main.css" and created a link to that stylesheet). You had one sheet externalized already.
    removed nested comments in CSS (nested comments has been known to throw some errors)
    Validated ALL code as Valid XHTML & CSS 2.1
    You're welcome to copy & use these, see if that makes a difference to the client's end. Make sure they do a CTRL - F5  to refresh their local cache.
    Things you need to do:
    Download and unzip the attached files.
    Upload main.css to the same location as business.css
    Enter your "alt tags" for all your images. I currently have them set to alt="enter image name" for validation purposes.
    Rename, save, upload the html file.
    Let me know if any of this helps.. and I'll be waiting for your reply on this and the info about the clients set up.. particularly the browser version.

    Repair your Apple software Update.
    Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
    If you don't find ASU in All programs, go to control panel/
    XP- add n remove Programs/highlight ASU, CHANGE then REPAIR.
    Vista or Win7 - Programs n features/highlight ASU and click REPAIR

    That is about saving your current bookmarks to an HTML file because you would lose those when you restore a JSON backup from the backup.

  • Remote users cannot log on to a computer that is using cached credentials following password policy expiration

    Hi, we are currently having issues with remote users when their AD account flags that their password needs to be changed.
    This happens when GPO enforces the user to change their password whilst they are not connected via a 3rd party VPN (OVPN Connect) which relies upon LDAP Authentication. When they next login, LDAP authentication knows that the password should have been changed
    and therefore will not allow users to connect securely. Because they cannot connect, they cannot get the Windows prompt to tell them that they need to change their password.
    Bit of a vicious circle. Can anyone suggest a work around or tweak for this?

    You need to use a solution that can handle this situation within the VPN
    client (wich yours seemingly cannot)...

  • Can't get 2 Ipods onto one computer system-one Ipod frozen

    I got 2 Ipods for my kids for xmas. I can only get one Ipod to connect to the computer. I went to the Apple store and spoke directly to an associate that said, there is no problem it will be fine. I connected the Ipod to charge the battery and it said do not disconnect. However, my computer sends a message that said, USB port not recognized, please disconnet immediately. I did and know my daughters Ipod is frozen with do not disconnect on it. We have the 30GB Ipods and they have not been able to do anything with it since they got it for xmas. Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

    Hey, I went and called Apple Support and actualy got a person!!! He talked me through some opening and adding information on my computer and both my girls can have their Ipods connect now. Not at the same time, just the computer recognizes both Ipods and they can do their downloads.

    I have an older computer with itunes 7 and several purchased and music from CD's burned. The issue is that the older computer's cd-rw drive is broke. I just purchased a new computer. How do I get the music from my old computer into itunes on my new computer. I am using the 5th Gen 30GB ipod and have all of my music and podcasts on the ipod.

    I'm sorry i've been the only one replying you, i myself am waiting for replies on my own question.
    My advice is that there is no fail-safe device that can protect your files safely forever. The safest way is still to have more than 1 backup. You have your ipod and an external drive so thats 2 options, provided there's enough space. Remember the link i gave you in my 1st post? I just read about a 'Consolidate library' option and i felt it can be useful.
    Let me give you an example using Windows PC:
    I have 'Song A' on my desktop and 'Song B' in \My Documents\My Music. Assuming my itunes library is empty with no songs, by dragging these two songs into your itunes' music page, they will be added to your library. You should also know that unless you delete Song A from your desktop or move it to another location in that same PC, Song A will always play when u double-click it on itunes, this is basic information.....Ok, now i have 2 songs in my library, but they are in 2 diff directories of my PC. Go to the Advanced tab in iTunes and click 'Consolidate Library', this will create 1 new copy of Song A and B each in your \My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music folder. Now connect your back-up device, it can be your ipod or an external drive, *copy the whole iTunes folder in the 'My Music' folder into your back-up device and back up is done,* according to the webpage.
    Just give it a try. Provided:
    1) you have enough disk space in your PC
    2) the original song file is still in your PC, somewhere. If an '!' appears next to a song name in iTunes, this means the original song file has either been deleted or moved to a new location within the PC, you'll need to find the song file so that iTunes can update its brain as to where the file has ended up in.
    3) you have enough disk space in your back-up device,
    you should be able to do a back-up. Connect the back-up device into your new PC and copy the iTunes folder into the new PC's 'My Music' folder. Open iTunes in your new PC and it should extract the Music Library from the iTunes folder you just pasted from the back-up device.
    Do you have songs in your new PC? Try the 'Consolidate Library' option on that PC first or any PC that has lesser songs cos by using this option, additional disk space is taken up to create the copies in the \My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music folder. Try to understand how this option works so that if you eventually do backup you won't accidently delete songs from either PC. It may be complicated, but do read up the link i provided earlier for more info...Cheers!
