Cannot read any form posted data

I create a web server :
import java.io.BufferedReader;
import java.io.InputStream;
import java.io.InputStreamReader;
import java.net.ServerSocket;
import java.net.Socket;
public class TestWeb extends Thread {
    Socket soc;
    ServerSocket server;
    InputStream is;
    BufferedReader br;
    public void run() {
        try {
            while (true) {
                soc = server.accept();
                if (soc!=null)
                is = soc.getInputStream();
                br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is));
                String line = "";
                while (line!=null) {
                    line = br.readLine();
                    if (line==null) continue;
                    System.out.println(line);
        } catch (Exception ex) {
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
    public TestWeb() {
        try {
            server = new ServerSocket(80);
        } catch (Exception ex) {
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
    public static void main(String[] arg) {
        try {
            new TestWeb().start();
            System.in.read();
        } catch (Exception ex) {
            System.out.println(ex.toString());
}It can read the header when someone connect to this server
However, it cannot read any form posted data.
Does anybody have any idea?
The following is the html source that i use in a browser to connect to the test server
<HTML><BODY>
  <CENTER><H1><FONT COLOR=BLUE><B>Test</B></FONT></H1></CENTER>
  <HR>
  <FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="http://127.0.0.1">
    <INPUT TYPE=TEXT VALUE="abcde">
    <SELECT>
      <OPTION VALUE="1">1</OPTION>
      <OPTION VALUE="2">2</OPTION>
    </SELECT>
    <INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT>
  </FORM>
</BODY></HTML>

I would expect the form data posted to be received. For example, the user chooses the option value and the text input value.
This test is hang just after receiving the header information and no parameters collected.

    I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
    When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
    At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
    I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

  • Can see shared CD drives on MBA, but cannot read any data from disks

    Puzzling one here.
    Have a MBA and am trying to use the shared drives on either a Windows XP computer, or MacBookPro notebook. Both computers are on the same wireless network, and both computers have DVD/CD sharing enabled.
    In the RemoteDisk shortcut on the MBA, I can see both computers and their shared drives, and I can even see the title of the disks that are in the drives, however, I cannot see any of the data on the disks. It tells me 0MB at the bottom of the window.
    The MBA has all updates installed, and I even tried to manually install the RemoteDisk/Sharing update from Apple.
    I found this post, and tried the commands in Terminal, but that did not help: http://jasonevangelho.com/2008/11/02/how-to-really-enable-remote-disc-dvd-drive- sharing-non-air-macbook/
    Any idea's?

    Oh yeah, I forgot to say that the wireless router is a Time Capsule.

  • Xsql:delete-request key-columns has to be form posted data?

    I am trying to link a hyperlink "delete" on a table to a page "jobs-list-delete.xsql?jobnumber={JOBNUMBER}". When I use:
    <form method="post" action="jobs-list-delete.xsql?jobnumber={JOBNUMBER}">
    <input type="submit" value="delete"/>
    </form>
    it worked fine. but I want to use "delete" as a hyperlink instead of a button, so I tried the following:
    Delete
    unfortunately, it didn't work with the above hyperlink.
    I would like to know if xsql:delete-request key-columns value has to be form posted data instead of a query string in an URL from a hyperlink. Is there any way to work around this?
    The code I used in jobs-list-delete.xsql is as follows:
    <xsql:delete-request key-columns="jobnumber" table="jobs" transform="request-to-InsertJob.xsl"/>
    Thanks...
    Wenqi Dwyer

    <xsql:delete-request> works with a posted XML request or a POST'ed HTML form.
    To delete things with a simple HTTP GET, you can use <xsql:dml> and a DELETE statement.

    Hi,
    HP BD ROM BC 5541H cannot read any  disk cd / dvd.I tried these troubleshooting steps, but I still can't solve the problem. What should I do next? 1-Microsoft Fix it. 2- sfc /scannow, Scan result ( windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations. )  3- Uninstall device from device manager and install again, device manager status  ("This device is working properly").but rom have same behaviour , no any change.
    Please help me.... how to diagnose/solve problem ?
    Regards,
    Minhas

    You might check to see if you have the most current BIOS installed.
    You  might also try removing it from device manager.
    Install the Intel Chipset Driver
    Then reboot and let it reinstall it self.

  • Thunderbird encrypted the mail inbox and I cannot read any email

    When I open the inbox, all emails are encrypted (with symbols and numbers) and I cannot read any email. How I can recover all the emails or solve the problem?

    Thunderbird does not encrypt anything. What you are seeing is more than likely file corruption.
    Right click the problem folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder.
    Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad.
    Read this article about system maintenance to help prevent this in the future.

  • DVD drive cannot read some of my data dvd's

    When I put in some of my data dvd, it reads it as a blank media.
    It is strange. I can read data of the exact same DVD in another mac computer.
    The problem is I can read some, but some I cannot read. Burning is no problem / no errors.
    Any thoughts would be great! Thanks
    Message was edited by: vc187

    Wow, that's interesting.
    I haven't had a problem with reading discs in my Powerbook (yet to really use the DVD drive in my MBP), but my old 1999-vintage iMac DVSE with it's DVD-ROM drive often won't read burned DVDs. It has no trouble with commercial discs, or burned CD-Rs, but it fails to read DVDs on a seemingly random basis. Indeed, I had been importing video on my Dad's G5, and burned it to DVD-R (Verbatim). The iMac wouldn't read the discs, while all our other DVD reading Macs would.
    I wonder if it's not the write strategy? I know different drives/applications have various methods for burning discs. See Wikipedia's optical disc article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opticaldiscdrive

  • Options for read/write form field data with VBA/Reader

    I have a project which requires reading and writing field data to a PDF form using VBA in PowerPoint. The code I have works properly with the full version of Acrobat, but the client this project is for will be using Reader. I'm looking for suggestions to what options I have to be able to access the form field data (I don't need any other features other than access to the field data). Ideally, I would love a solution which doesn't require the client to install anything extra for this to work, but I'm assuming that this isn't possible without an extra install.
    Is there a library that exists in Reader (or could be licensed to be installed on the client's machine) that would allow the data to be read without needing the full version of Acrobat?
    Does a plug-in exist for Reader, or could be written, that would allow this? Writing a plug-in would certainly be beyond my current capabilities, but I am interested in knowing every and any choices that are available.
    Are there any other options to do what I need to do?
    I had originally thought about exporting the form data and parsing it in the VBA program, but this would take a bit more work to write the parsing routine instead of accessing the fields directly. Plus, it appears to me that Exporting is not enabled in Reader.
    Thanks for any insight you may be able to provide.

    Thanks for the response; this was my original suggestion, but I don't think this is feasable for our client. I suggested to our account people that this might be the only way to do this (and the easiest, although possibly the costliest since it would have to be purchased for their entire sales force) and they initially said that this would not be an option, so I wanted to be able to cover all the bases, and explore any other ways that they could do what they want. Is this the absolute only option to do this?
    Someone also suggested to me that licensing the Acrobat PDF Library SDK might be a way to do this, or that it could possibly be done with a plug-in for Reader (although from what I have found, Reader plug-ins would have to be approved by Adobe). These options, if possible, are beyond my current knowledge but I do want to be able to give them a complete list of possibilities.
    Thanks again.

  • Inbox empty - Cannot read any Gmail

    I cannot get any gmail from my iPhone. New messages are displayed on the mail icon on the home page, but when i tap on the envelope, nothing is diplayed in the inbox. This has been going on for a few days now. I've tried rebooting and resetting the iPhone but problem persists. I am using Exchange Activesync through google but everything else is fine (calendars, contacts, etc.) so i don't think it's an activesync problem.

    Keep in mind that Google Sync is in beta, and they added email support after calendar/contact syncing. Have you tried reverting to standard IMAP for Gmail?

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 installed but cannot read any PDF file from a Browser window

    I have a new(-ish) PC running Vista and had Adobe Acrobat v9 installed.  However I cannot open PDF files when trying to view from a Browser on a web site.  IE8, Firefox and Chrome all produce the same error that claims I need to install Adobe 8 or 9.  Have searched "Manage add-ons" and found Adobe enabled.  Have hunted around but cannot seem to find a way to fix this.  Any ideas?  This seems so fundamental that it is difficult to believe that (a) it happened in the first place and (b) that there is not an obvious way to fix it!

    Are you on a PC with a profile setup?
    Assuming you are,
    Rename your profile to something like PROFILE.OLD and then relog into the PC.  If the PDF's open without issue, you can remove the Abode folders in the old profile under Documents and Settings\%profile%\Application Data and Local Settings\Application Data.
    Rename the new profile to yet something else like PROFILE.NEWOLD.   Then rename your PROFILE.OLD to its original name.  Confirm that you have removed the above folders from this existing profile.   Perform MIGWIZ I.E. Export files and settings to a folder. Now rename the profiles so that the .NEWOLD is the active profile and run migwiz there - bringing in your old settings.  These steps are only needed if you wish to preserve all the data and settings from your old profile.
    Hope this helps!
