Cannot see first two tabs

Question

Hi all,
I have written a code which contains a tabbed pane. This tabbed pane contains 3 tabs. I have added 3 panels in each tab in locations North, Center and South.For eg
Panel 1 contains the following in North of the first tab
Login Label
Login Text field
Login button
Panel 2 contains the following in Center of the first tab
One Text Area
Panel 3 contains the following in South of the first tab
Ok button
Close button
I have written this in a method and I am using the same method to create the second and third tab respectively. But I see only the third tab with the appropriate components at run time. I dont understand what went wrong. I am using borderlayout not gridbaglayout.
Can any give me a pointer?

Each swing component can be added to only one container. You use the same createTabPage() for each tab page and this method uses the same 'startPanel', 'middlePanel' and 'endPanel' for all three tabs. When a JComponet is added to a container it is removed from any other containers it has been added to.
