Canon MR-14EX II only one side fires

Hello guys! I'm sure there is a simple solution to my problem but I can't figure it out myself. I've purchased Canon MR-14EX II Macro ring flash and when I try to take pictures, only one side of the flash fires. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

I have Ver 1 and had an even older model so I suspect setting are similar. Check your manual for the section on "Setting the Flash Ratio". You can turn off either side should you want to, which may explain your problem. .

Have you tried different headphones in your iPad mini?
Check in Settings > General > Accessibility if little slider half way down isn't moved to either side towards "L" or "R".
If it isn't , try to reboot the device, but it's likely that your audio port isn't working correctly. If so, it should definitely be covered by warranty.

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

I had this same problem last year. But recently the entire sound blew out. I've tried other people's earbuds and spare headphones I have, but nothing works...It must be an iPod issue. I've been looking all over for a solution, nothing works.:(

I just bought iphone 5 2days ago and i found something wierd with my speaker, when i plsy music or youtube or whatever but the sound come out only one side of speaker. Left speaker can't hear anything, is it normal?? Or it broken?

There is only one speaker. The left side, next to the headset jack, is a microphone.

Just bought a X5i stereo bluetooth headset (A2DP protocol) from BlueAnt and paired it with T61P. The laptop recognized it and it connected to it. When i started playing audio though, the sound is coming only from one side of the headset. Do I need to update the bluetooth drivers for lenovo?? What do i need to do? Please help!

Enabling BFD in only one side

Hi Everybody
The theory tells that if BFD stops to receive keepalives, it informs to the routing protocols that the neihgbor is down. If I configure BFD only in one side and associate BFD with the routing protocol, the neighborship goes down?

You need BFD on both side but you could use echo mode on one side only.
I tested it with 12.2(33)SRC2, and configuring BFD on one side only doesn't bring down the IGP adj. The BFD session stays in AdminDown state.

The printer box shows "auto rotate" , but it prints only one side.

"Auto Rotate" generally refers to automatically selecting portriat or landscape printing. For two sided printing you want to print Duplex. Some printers have automatic duplexers and can print both sides of the page automatically, others support only manual duplex where one side is printed, then the pages are reloaded in the printer and the back side printed.
Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system?

Stroke only one side

I cant find out any property in flex/as reference how to apply stroke only to one side of element.

You can use the borderSides property to specify the border sides...as shown below:

You can apply borders to any of the one side...

I tried that first. It didn't get the gunk that was in the bottom of the port. The toothpick popped it right out in one piece. Took almost no pressure at all. I was worried that I would hurt something with the toothpick so I gently inserted it at one side and then slide it to the other side of the connector sorting of feeling it out. It came out with a big block of gunk from the bottom of the connector. I was just probing the connector to see if the toothpick would fit. I really hadn't made any effort to clean anything yet. I I was amazed at how much gunk there was. I keep my phone really clean but I guess my pockets are another story...

Ram issues-reading only one side

My Lombard tells me i have 192mb of ram so i always figured 128 in the top, and the original 64 in the bottom. I went to check out some ram upgrades today at the shop to get upto 512mb. When we opened it up to test the new ram, we learned that i do have 128mb in the top, but there is already a 256mb in the bottom. So for some reason my comp is only reading half of each card. We even tried the new ram card and it also only read half of it. We tried different combonations and it didn't change. Its only reading half of each ram card.
Anyone have any ideas why or what i can do about it? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello, So i have taken it apart and played with it a bit more.
First of all, each ram card has 4 black boxes (modules) per side. So maybe thats a bad sign right off.
The one card still has a sticker on it from where it was purchased, it reads PC133 , Ibook 256 Wilkins Technology. The modules are Samsung but i think the board is not.
The other card looks physically about the same, i am assuming that its a 128 because both slots consistantly read 1/2 of which ever card is inserted, in this case reading 64. The modules on it are Samsung and the board also appears to be Samsung. Its sticker reads Samsung Korea 9926. If this card is in the computer alone in either the top or bottom slot, the computer will not boot up. It just gives me an icon with the finder logo flashing to a ? on it.
The 256 card will allow the comp to boot up no problem when its the only card installed, and the computer will show 128mb if this 256 card is in ether slot. And if i add the other card (that cannot work alone) than it adds another 64mb to the total giving me 192mb total. And this is consistant with the cards in either slot.
In summary, the 128 card will not work alone, in either slot. But if the other card is installed, the 128 card will provide me with 64mb more ram, installed in either slot.
Pretty weird...
Could this have anything to do with needing to upgrade firmware? Probably a stupid question but just a thought...

STRANGE: two Canon Vixia Hg20 cameras, only one is recognized by FCP

I have two Canon Vixia HG20 cameras and 2 iMac 3.06 GHz Intel dual core computers. Both have Final Cut Pro 6.0.5 (latest update for that version).
The mystery: Final Cut Pro used to recognize both of the cameras, but now it only recognizes one. I've tried both cameras on both computers with the same USB cable, and I get teh same result every time. I try to log and transfer, but it can only detect the one camera. Both iMacs show the camera as an icon on the desktop and I can see there are files on the drive. I can see ".cpi" and ".mts" files on the drive. I've tried restarting the computer, restarting the cameras, waiting 15 minutes. I go through the exact same process with the same model camera but get two different results.
Obviously, something must have happened to the second camera. Perhaps it wasn't disconnected properly? Perhaps files were pulled off, or maybe something placed on it? Perhaps it is recording in a different format?

I was going to suggest you copy the contents of both of the cards to the Mac and see if you can import from there. But, umm, I don't even know if that's possible.
I'd start by formatting both cards, twice, in the camera. Open the cameras and identify each card, camera 1 and camera 2. Put a piece of masking tape on each camera and write a 1 and 2 on the tape. Go through each camera's menus carefully setting and matching each of the shooting parameters.
Make a card that say CAMERA 1 and shoot two minutes of it. Do the same with camera 2.
Now you have a binary system that can yield repeatable and trackable results.

DV6 1319tx- Audio coming from only one side.. Help!

Hey ppl i jus bought HP Pavilion DV6 1319tx yesterday. I jus noticed that audio is comin from only the left side of the speakers and i have even checked usin the volume control.. There is no output from the right side.. What to do?? Is HP customer service a good one.. Will they replace it soon or will they keep the laptop and return it later.. plz help ASAP!!

Ah, I see. I just used 'Pan' and set it from -1 to 0. Cool.
This can be deleted or left for reference, I don't care.
