Canot install 1-Step RoboPDF printer: 1930

I am trying to install RoboPDF from the RoboHelp X5 CD and I
get the error message of: Canot install 1-Step RoboPDF printer:
1930. I have done the uninstall and reinstall but to no avail. The
computer is running Win XP OS. Anyone have any clues?

Welcome to the forum.
I don't recognise the problem but 1 Step was not without

  • Cannot install 1-Step RoboPDF NT-Driver: 126

When trying to install RoboPDF 1-Step from the Trial.exe
(RoboHelp) I'm getting an error during the installation.
Like the subject says: Cannot install 1-Step RoboPDF
    NT-Driver: 126
This is persistent. I uninstalled all of Robohelp and RoboPDF
    several times.
My system is Windows XP SP2 with all patches.
I'm clueless. I removed all traces of 1-Step-RoboPDF in the
    registry already to no avail.

    Welcome to the forum.
    How's your German?
    Click
    here.
The only answer I can find is in German but hopefully someone
can help you with that. Also Dirk Bock responded to that post on
the German forum but he also hangs around here so perhaps he will
    see this and help you.
Do you have admin rights on the PC to which you are trying to
install? RH will install install without them but not work
properly. Perhaps 1 Step will not install without those rights.
Also, you have problems with the full version of 1 Step, then
Customer Support will most likely upgrade you to FlashPaper which
    includes a PDF function.

  • Fusion 4.1.2.  After install can no longer print on the Mac side.

    Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000167 EndHTML:0000003793 StartFragment:0000000475 EndFragment:0000003777
    Greetings,
I'm using a MacBook Pro running OSX SL at the most current level.
I upgraded from Fusion 3 to Fusion 4 (uninstalled 3 first then installed 4) after which I did the update to Fusion 4.1.2 which appeared to run fine.
Being I'm new to the Mac I installed Fusion because I need Windows-XP.
Prior to the installation of Fusion I spent 2 weeks trying to get my printers working just on the Mac side without Fusion.  I'm using an HP Deskjet 5850 (5800 series) printer which worked just fine.  The printer is an IP printer at IP address 192.168.1.11 and can be pinged from both the Mac side and the Windows-XP side. Before Fusion there wasn't any issue printing on the Mac side.
After Fusion installation I didn't have any issues printing on the Windows side.
Now with Fusion installed I can still print on the Windows side but not on the Mac side.
All settings are as normal with printer sharing.
When trying to print on the Mac side I see the printer queue for the HP pop up and it says 'waiting to connect' to 192.168.1.11.
I tried a dozen different settings non of which worked.
I switched from a NAT connection to a Bridged connection for Windows but still the same result, no printing from the Mac side.
Is there a problem with this release of fusion or is it somewhere in my system settings?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • 1-step RoboPDF

I sure could use some help activating my old copy of 1-step RoboPDF. When trying to reinstall it I am unable to activate. I have spent probably a dozen hours or more speaking to customer service people in India and e-mailing them via the online support until finally today I received my final answer and notification that my file had been closed.  They told me that since RoboPDF has reached end-of-life (EOL )they are unable to activate it and I should upgrade my $50 product by purchasing an upgrade version of Adobe 9 which costs several times more. Quoting from their e-mail, "I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. With regard to your concern, the reason why you cannot activate/deactivate your product at this time is because the eHelp Activation Server for RoboPDF products is down. Since the RoboPDF product is in EOL (end of life) stage, there is no workaround for this product. However, we may provide you with an upgrade to Acrobat Pro 9.0 at the upgrade price."
Their website openly claims that these activation codes are only used for security purposes to keep people from stealing their software and would never be used to get people to buy upgrades which obviously is an outright lie. What they're doing is probably illegal but I don't think I'm going to take them to court for $50, unless of course there are thousands of others like me and a hungry attorney who would like to file a class-action lawsuit for several million.
Enough rambling, I didn't really write to complain.  I just like software, paid for it, and would like to get it working and thought maybe someone could help me to hack the activation code so I can actually use the darn software. I've attached their 'go pound sand" letter to my post.

If you have a copy of RoboHelp, it will almost certainly have a PDF writer with it. If you only got it a few months ago, it will likely be RoboHelp 8 and that installs a lite version of Acrobat. You will be better off with that.
The only way to get 1 Step working again would be to install a version of RH that came with it and you would find that to be problematic.

  • Need to install eprint on my printer for my mobile phone

need to install eprint on my printer for my mobile phone printing

    Hey HMccoo,
Here are the instructions for how to setup ePrint from your mobile phone.
    http://h71028.www7.hp.com/hho/us/en/ep/articles/setting-up-mobile-printing.html
    HP ePrint Setup Steps
    1. Enable Web (Cloud) Services on your ePrint enabled HP printer.
    a. For assistance navigate to www.hp.com/support and enter your printer’s model number.
    2. When the printer connects to the ePrint servers, shortly after, a HP ePrint Mobile Printing page will
    print.
    a. A Product Update may be needed in order to continue to enable Web Services.
    3. Bring the ePrint page mentioned in step 2 to a Web connected computer.
    4. Open an Internet Browser on the Internet connected computer.
    5. Navigate to www.eprintcenter.com in the Internet Browser.
    6. Select the Blue button that reads “Sign In” on the Home Page at ePrintcenter.com.
    7. After selecting “Sign In” a window will open. Select “Sign Up” in Blue letters at the top of the window.
    8. After selecting “Sign Up” a window will open allowing you to enter information to create an account.
    9. When your account has been created successfully, the account owner will be prompted to “Add
    Printer”.
    10. On the ePrint Page, from step 2, you will find a Printer Code just right of the Blue number 2. Use this
    Printer Code to “Add Printer”.
    11. Once the Printer has been added successfully you will be given the option to setup.
    12. In the Setup options you have the option to enter a Custom email address.
    a. Erase the original Printer code from the custom email address field and enter the customized
    email address of your choice.
    b. You will not have to enter the domain, @hpeprint.com.
    c. Example: [email protected]
    d. Click “Check” to confirm that the custom email address is available for use.
    13. In the Setup options you can select a security type: Allow Everyone or Authorized users only.
    a. Note: No ePrint jobs will print on your printer unless you give the customized email address to
someone. Allowing everyone simply allows whomever you give the printer email address to
send ePrint jobs to your printer.
    14. At the top of your home page confirm that your printer name is displayed and there are green check
    marks beside “Connected” & “Ready”.
    15. Congratulations you have done an Outstanding Job! Now you should be able to send ePrint jobs to
    your printer!
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

  • Hp officejet HP driver software won't install past step 1

Just got a new laptop with Windows 8.1 64-bit.  Trying to install my H470 mobile printer on this new pc and was able to download the HP Officejet full feature software and driver, but when I try to install the software, it won't get past step 1 of 8.

    Hey @rk3000mem,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you're not able to install your HP Officejet H470 Mobile Printer on your Windows 8.1 computer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this issue. Now you mention that you're not able to get past step 1 of 8. This would appear to be a driver conflict. There may be a conflict occuring between a program on your Windows 8.1 computer and the print driver. Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
    Step 1: Uninstall Drivers:
Even though the installation is failing, there is a chance that some software made its way onto your computer. To ensure that we have a nice clean slate to work with, please follow the steps below.
    Please disconnect your USB Cable.
Open your Start screen, by clicking on the Windows button on the bottom left hand corner of your computer screen or by selecting the Windows button on the bottom left of your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl button
Once the Start screen opens, type Programs and Features
Click Programs and Features to launch it
Once Programs and Features opens a list of programs installed on your computer will populate
Scroll down the list of programs and look for your HP Officejet. Should you see your HP Officejet, select it and allow it to Uninstall.
Follow any onscreen instructions to complete the uninstall process.
Step 2: Clear the Temp Files:
    Open your Start screen again
Type Run and click on Run to launch it
In the Run box type %temp% and click OK
When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will now highlight.
Select the 'delete' button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the temp files. Should a file in the Temp folder still be used, you will automatically get a pop up to 'skip' the item.
Once the Temp files are deleted, please close the folder
Right click the Recycling Bin on your desktop and select Empty Recycling Bin
    Step 3: MSCONFIG:
There is a good chance that a program running in the background on your computer is causing the installation conflict. To resolve this conflict I am going to have you temporarily disable the background programs on your computer.
A background programming running on your computer may be causing interference when trying to reinstall your wireless printer. To ensure that no programs are going to cause issues, I'm going to have you temporarily disable the background programs on your computer.
Open your Start screen again by selecting the Windows button on the bottom left of your computer screen or by selecting the Windows button on the bottom left of your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl button.
Once the Start screen opens type Run. Click Run to open it.
In the Run box type msconfig and click on OK
When the System Configuration Window opens select 'Selective Startup' and uncheck Load Startup Items
Click the Services tab. Check the box at the bottom for Hide All Microsoft Services
    Select Disable All
    Select Apply and OK
    Restart your computer when prompted
    Step 4: Reinstall Drivers:
When your computer comes back on, please click here to download the appropriate drivers for your printer
Select the Download button on the top left
When prompted, allow the download to Run
Follow any onscreen prompts to reinstall your printer
If using a USB Cable, do  not plug in the USB Cable until the installer prompts you to
Once the installation is complete, please test printing.
Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. Should you encounter any further issues, please let me know exactly what step fails and what it is doing (installing driver, loading software, configuring product, etc). I look forward to hearing from you!

  • How do I install a non-wireless printer (Photosmart 3210a) over a network?

I have just reported a problem to HP following downloading installation files as follows: With a new Pavilion system unit running Windows 7 Professional, to which is connected by USB a Photosmart 3210a, I wished have full access to the printer from a networked laptop running Windows XP.  This had been perfectly possible when I was using the previous system unit which also ran XP.
The downloaded files for 7 installed without problem, the printer being detected straight away.  When I downloaded the updated installation files for the laptop the software would not find the printer on the network since it seemed it was suitable only for a wireless enabled printer, and could not detect the printer attached to the system unit.
Whilst I appreciate that the majority of printers now available are wireless enabled, I find it slightly underhand to effectively disable an otherwise perfectly satisfacory and well-appointed piece of equipment.  I would have thought that there ought to be a fix for this omission.
I should add that the original installation disk would not run, and required me to download an updated file for the XP OS.  It was this file which caused the problem

I connected my Brother printer via USB cable.
You posted in the support forum for the Apple wireless routers.....the products shown below. Although you do not mention that you connected your printer to the USB port on the Apple router......we assume that this is what you meant to say.  Would that be correct?

  • "Can't install the software for the HP Officejet 6300 series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server" when I try to install a HP 6300 printer.

  • How do i wirelessly install a cannon 5320 printer?

How do I install my Cannon MG5320 printer wirelessly to the Mac so I can also use Airprint with an iPad?

this has been covered before. you know this is the Mac Pro section of things, right?
okay. First, grab the Printer Update Utility from Canon. . Turn the printer off then on. connect with usb cable. run printer update utility to upgrade to firmware 2.0. turn printer off then on again.  airprint should work from then on. You can't update via WiFi, so I've read. Other than that, I suggest you snag a copy of canon's manual for this, and check it out for how to set up wireless printing between it and your Mac

  • Should I install a 32 bit printer driver on a 64 Operating Sytem?

I have an HP Officejet 6700e wireless printer.  It is used by 2 computers.  The Operating Systems on the computers are as follows:
1 – HP Pavilion laptop using Windows 8.1, 64 bit.
2 – HP Pavilion laptop using Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit.
I noticed there are BOTH 32 bit and 64 bit printer drivers for Windows 7 and Windows 8 & 8.1.
     I have 2 questions:
First, since both computers use 64 bit operating systems, shouldn't I install the 64 bit printer driver?
Second, is there any advantage to installing the 32 bit printer driver on a 64 bit operating system?
    Thanks very much, Terry
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Install the driver which  matches the operating system and the bit type (32-bit or 64-bit)  that is installed on each PC.
Second, is there any advantage to installing the 32 bit printer driver on a 64 bit operating system? There is no  advantage at all. It would actually be a bad practice unless the printer driver is compatible with both bit types.

  • Acrobat 7, needed with FrameMaker 7: How do I get and install an "Adobe PDF printer instance?"

In FrameMaker, when I try to save a FrameMaker file as a PDF file, I get the following message: "FrameMaker could not find Adobe PDF printer instance, which must be installed to execute "Save as PDF" command".  I have a sinking feeling that I deleted that printer instance from my list of printers, thinking I did not need such a printer. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling FrameMaker 7, Acrobat 7 and Reader 9. All reinstalled successfully, EXCEPT still no Adobe PDF printer instance. Thus my question: how do I get and install that Adobe PDF printer instance?
.( I am using a new computer. I still have my old computer available, with the Adobe PDF printer instance on it. If I could find where in the old machine (Windows XP)  the files are for it, I could copy them to the new machine).
Thanks in advance  for any advice.

    Just curious,
What is the new machine's OS (& is it 32-bit or 64-bit)?
