Cant change my BBM Picture

Just got a t-mobile curve 8520 and i cant change my bbm icon. I dont even see an option to view my profile. Can somebody help me?

Are you not able to actually click in your BBM profile > click on your picture and choose another picture?
Can you see the new picture ON your Z10 or not?
If you can see it, can your BBM friends?

Ever since i updated to the new OS, my bbm profile pic has not been updated. My software release is : 10.1.0.273. OS versipn : 10.1.0.1720. This is very frustrating, pls help

BBM Picture not changing

Hey everyone, I love blackberry from bold 2-Z10 which am currently using, but for the past 2 months I have not been able to change my display picture. I have done hard start and all that but it has refused to change. Any advice O A

Are you saying that YOU cannot change your BBM avatar picture, when you touch your picture in your BBM profile, what happens? You are not given the "replace picture" icon at the bottom of avatar preview screen?
Or, are you saying that you CAN change your BBM picture, but your friends cannot see it? If that is the case, it could simply be server issues. One way some of us have fixed that is to go into your BBM profile and make a simple one character change to your BBM name, such as add a period "." or something to your name.

BlackBerry Z10 BBM picture not displaying

I have a BlackBerry Z10 and once I change my BBM picture my contacts do not see the updated picture, but only my status updates. What should i do?

You need to export JPG copies of your adjusted photos to upload to FB.

I cant seem to recieve picture messages from other networks besides 3

i cant seem to recieve picture messages from any other network besides 3.
can someone please tell me if i can fix this problem and if its the phone?

You can try the following on your friends phone:
1. Remove the contact card
2. Then turn off iMessage and then back on again
3. Go to Messages and compose a new message
4. Press +. This will make a list of recent contacts pop up.
5. Click on the info button number of the contact you are trying to reach.
6. Remove from Recents
7. Try to compose another message
8. If the message attempts to send as blue (imessage), press on the message.
9 Option to send as SMS will appear (as long as they have SMS turned on.
10. Repeat and rinse.
11. Messages will start changing over to all SMS as the user will show as non-imessage user.

Bbm picture wont update- HELP !

okay so heres the problem, my bbm display picture will not update, it only updates on my profile but not to the rest of my contacts.
my friends cannot see this update of the picture, they see the picture i had a while ago before this happend.
i am just wondering how i can fix this? i want to change my display picture on blackberry messenger that way my contacts can see it.
please help thank you !

Just be patient and let it be, I've seen it take a few days for some user's BBM contact avatar sync across the network. There's nothing you can do to speed it up.

Cant change Wallpaper

Hi All,
I know this is weird but i cant change my wallpaper!!!
I go to Apple icon, system preferences, Desktop and Screensaver, Desktop, and the screen is blank..
I have rebooted etc. Any other ideas if there is another way to change Wallpaper?

Have you checked to see if the Desktop Pictures folder is still in its correct location (Macintosh HD >Library > Desktop Pictures)? When you browse to Desktop in Screensaver in System Preferences, it points to that folder. If the folder is missing or empty, that may be the problem.

9360 BBM Pictures Appear Small In Size

Hi, when I purchased my BlackBerry Curve 9360; 2 months ago, I updated my outdated apps including my BlackBerry Messenger(BBM) that had been version 6 at the time to the latest it was which was version 7. After adding all contacts needed, whenever one changed their Display Picture I'd have to zoom in on it because they were appearing to be small.
But, when I checked a contact with the same picture on my cousin's phone, BlackBerry Curve 9320, they'd appear much larger likely to be fullscreen. I've deleted my BBM and re-downloaded it and no luck, as well as security wiped the entire smartphone as well, even adjust my camera image size settings thinking that had affected my BBM contact's Display Pictures, but no luck. I'm really struggling with this, because whenever I save one of my contact's Display Picture it would still remain the same small size as it showed on BBM in the picture folder.
Please help with this issue, I'm looked every where, Google, BlackBerry Forums, etc. This is my last hope, and it does not appear that anyone else is experiencing this problem.

That didn't work. And when I tested one of the photos and then reverted it back to the original, there was a black square where the picture used to be. I actually had to sync it a few times and then turn the phone off and on to have the photo back where it was. I'm assuming this is a problem that Apple is working on since the update. What a pain. But thanks anyway for trying to help.

I cant change the information on some tracks such as the track name or the picture. Itunes says in the picture square "Album illustraties niet bewerkbaar" (translated --> albumillustrations not changable).
I hope there is some sort of simple sollution i haven't thought of.

I had the same problem. I checked the extensions on my mac in Finder and saw I imported wav files in stead of mp3. You can change the import-settings in I-tunes. This worked for me.

Sounds like you are in an area with only voice signal - you can call and possibly send text only messages, but not picture messages. You need to be in an area that has both voice (1X) and data (EV) signal; nothing Verizon can do to change that if there is no signal available.

To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You cannot use the Japanese iTunes Store unless are physically present there and have a Japanese payment method. This applies even for free apps; you cannot get them from the Japanese iTunes Store if you are in the US.
If you are in Japan, you can set up a new iTunes Store account just to get free apps. See:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.

My original external has an error and needs to be reformatted but I dont want to lose this informations its my entire Itunes library.

Sounds like the source drive is formatted as case sensitive and the destination drive is not. The preferred format for OS X is case insensitive unless there is a compelling reason to go case sensitive.
Why can't you change the filename? Is it because the source drive is having problems? If so is this happening with only one or two or a few files? If so the best thing would be to copy those over individually and then rename them on the destination drive.
If it is more then you can do manually and you can't change the name on the source you will have to reformat the destination as case sensitive.

To get reid of the Restrictions passcoe you have to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. You should do that anyway since the apps and music (if any) on the iPod do not belong to you. They did not transfer with the purchase of the iPod hardware.
