Cant get my imported compilation to group in itunes

My wedding album was put together by a friend, its almost 4 hours long, he put it together as a playlist then burnt that to cd's using itunes. When i import those cds to my itunes the only way i can get the songs to play in tcorrect order is when importing i copy the track list to a playlist. after import when in my Music folder all the tracks are split up, iv tried going through my music folder > selecting each individual track then > get info > and changing the album and selecting part of a compilaton and all the other online suggestions but still i tunes splits everything up..... headache!
any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks lots

When you say you have tried "all the other online suggestions" that is rather vague because my online suggestions may not be the same as somebody else's and I presume you have not tried all x-thousand pages of Internet search results. What have you tried?

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist", or check the "compilation" flag (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085).
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields. If they are not a multiple CD set you still need to make sure the disc number fields are set correctly or all empty.

If these are purchased, third-party apps, then it appears that they are not compatible with iOS 7. You'll need to wait until the developer(s) have upgraded their software. You might try to find these developers on the web to see if there are any announcements about incompatibilities. They may have a forum where you can post a message.
I just checked on the iTunes store, abcontact was last updated Sept. 2012, a year ago. In looking over the user comments, the last one (Sept '13) indicates that it doesn't work with iOS 7 and asks the developer to please update.
Considering the lack of updates, in over a year, this doesn't look good.

On a mac computer how do you get the import button to appear in iTunes so i can do home share of music?

I have a mac computer and a iphone 4, we have two other itunes accounts on our computers and with the other when we have them on the import button is always on the bottom right on the sharing part. My new itunes does not have this how do i get the import button to appear so we can share music?

Do you have scroll bars enabled in the System Preferences > General tab (MacOS X 10.7 or later)?
Try, if setting this to "Show scroll bars > Always" will bring your scrollbar back.

New to Java cant get it to compile in msDOS

Using SDK java 2 version 1.4.0. Checked my personal Computer folder types.
In folders in windows 98 do java file types open with javac.exe or java.exe? Tried both. When I try to compile a simple tutorial HelloWorldApp.java , it gives me a message that javac cant read it. The path is OK on MS DOS since it recognizes the javac command. I should be having no problems with tutorial. Did I mess up the links to the class and java file types ?. Microsoft tech support fixed a problem when I opened some demo files into the wrong programs and it was permanent.Then I tried to reset the right exe files to go with the file types but I am not sure. I have tried re downloading the software several times. Should I buy a sun software or are these downloads bad?

I bought this device as i only have a work laptop but its being taken away next week. Its locked by the company i work for so cannot install any programs etc. Its been fine for web surfing as thats all i need.
I have turned on the Ipad but there is a pic off a usb cable and an itunes logo.. it wont go past that. I cant download itunes to my laptop it wont let me because the admin password is set by my work to stop employees from doing this type off thing.

You have some options. You need access to a pc or mac to get it installed and activated.
1. Use a friends computer.
2. Have somebody at the apple store do it.
3. There is no three.
If you has a friend with a computer and a fast connection you are set. Even if they do not do spple stuff, you can download i tunes, create an account, fire up the pad, then delete everything from that friends computer.
In the long term, you really do need a place to call home for back ups etc. a lot of folks run their pads with no computer, and it works fine until you have an issue, or need a major update.
If you can only have 1 device, i think you should consider your intended usage, and think real hard about a laptop. ( or my favorite los cost computer, mac mini)

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.

If you don't tell us what the problem is, we can't be of much help. Plug the phone into your computer. Go to iTunes. Click on the phone in the device pane on the left, and click check for updates on the right if you're not prompted to update immediately. You may need to disable your antivirus and firewall to complete the upgrade as they can interfere with the authentication process.

Make sure the SYNC TONES box is checked.
But if you have already done so and still not getting the tones over, please uncheck SYNC TONES, "Apply" and let itunes remove tones fromn your iPhone. AFter that recheck the box and Sync again.

I would suggest to manually manage your music by clicking the box under the summary page then apply the changes. click and drag the songs into the device like you were to make a play list and that should give you a specific error as to why the songs are not syncing over then you can go from there
