Captivate 8 loading slowly after click

The course I'm building has to be compatible on mobile as well as desktop. In the mobile version, I'm noticing that Captivate 8 runs noticeably slow after a button has been clicked.
I have found out that the reason for this is because captivate is built with onclick functions, but in mobile those functions need to be converted to ontouch and this is what is causing the slow-down.
So my question is, how do I avoid the slow-down in cap 8 mobile courses? and does anyone know how to get rid of the initial "play" screen with mobile gestures in cap 8 renders?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cant help you with slowness, i agree it is a bit laggy but I have found it tolerable.  I use a lot of click boxes and they seem more responsive than buttons (I just make my own buttons using click boxes). I do not know that these work any faster or use ontouch instead of onclick but they seem more responsive.  The other thing that seems to speed it up is disabling the click sound.
Here is how to remove the play button - dumbest oversight ever btw adobe!!
Find this bit of code between the first <script></script> tags in your .html, it is the last bit of a code in the first <script> tag.
Add the cp.movie.play (); as shown below in bold

Also know that as long as you dont resize, and not sure about with resonsive projects, but you can recycle this same edited  index.html republish after republish even if you add content or edit slides.  I only use the republished .html and re edit if something gets glitchy, otherwise I just delete the new index and replace with the modified one and it works great.
