Capture ERFMG - Requirement quantity for a component

Hi All,
I have a requirement where in i need to capture the requirement quantity for a component(ERFMG).
The problem is the value exists only at runtime in the following structure MDPM.
I am writing the code in an exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 where in i cannot capture this value from this structure.It is not storing in a database table also . how can i get this value ?

Thank you for your post!
It is exactly what I have done but as I above mentioned:
Subsequent problem
The system schedules the dates correctly on the component level, but re-schedules the dates for the project the day you schedule and erase the complete old scheduling dates except for the activities with constraints.
If I have an "old" scheduled project and I add some new components anywhere in the complete project structure additional needs. I go then to the project definition level and schedule the complete project. My result is that on project definition and WBS elements no changes but on all activities (without confirmation) the system put the start date the day which I re-schedule the project.
That what I want to avoid and let the initial planned schedule date on activity level the same as before re-scheduling the project.
Do you have any further advices?

Update required quantity for material component in Process Order.

Hello.
I need update component qty from Z dialog program.
The famous BAPI_PROCORD_CHANGE doesn't deal with COMPONENT structure but only HEADER. Then I tried to combine it with an enhancement.
I see that in WORKORDER_UPDATE~BEFORE_UPDATE I can't change values in IT_COMPONENT.
Anybody have used enhancement for this purpose and how can I transfer my calculated values to order?
In addition I check ENHANCEMENT-SECTION CO_BT_ORDER_POST_02 SPOTS ES_SAPLCOBT to do it.
What syntax our developers should write if it's possible?

MIGO: Default quantity for subcontracting component

According to OSS Note 329928, There is no component quantity adjustment in Transaction MIGO, except if you changed the quantity of the material produced for subcontracting before the first time it was opened.
The quantities that you saw are no longer changed automatically.
That causes a problem for us, because the people who updates materials just type in the quantity and don't verify if it goes correctly, so that is causing problems in the subcontracting process.
We checked and there is no BAdI or exit to do that, so we understand that the only solution is to disable the option to expand the subcontracting components. Now the question is: How to do this? Is there any customizing option? Or we'll have to treat it in the BAdI? Or would be better in a screen exit?

We are having the same dificulty, but we need to control components quantity not only at MIGO but also at bapi BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.

How to make field requirement quantity mandatory in maint order?

Hi Experts,
I would like to make filed RESBD-MENGE - requirement quantity field in component tab of maintenance order mandatory. But I am not getting the IMG settings for this. I checked this screen settings for components for PM/CS orders. But I didn't get this field in that screen. Can anybody help me out on this?

Hi,
I need this to activate for all order types. I think this can be accomplished by user exit IWO10009, which will trigger during saving event. I didn't try for this but i used this exit previously for checking during saving event for some other field. I think this can be used here also so that while saving the system will check the field and if the field is empty, system will give the error message. some coding may required to check the field.
If you have any alternative idea kindly share.

Requirement quantity and quantity withdrawn are not matching

From a production order the requirement quantity of one component is 4 and for another component, it is 2. But the withdrawn quantity for the first component is 5 and for the 2nd component it is 0. This has caused a COGI error.
Also the total quantity and the delivered quantity is shown as 6.
How can this be corrected and prevented from happening in the future.

Batch management is not used for both the components.
For both the components the storage location is mentioned in the components overview of the production order. When I checked in the material master the same storage location is existing in the materiala master also

MRP net requirement calcualtion for Lot sizes

Can some one help me on this ..
I want to set up the MRP for the Raw materials Procurement .
for this i want use MRP type as PD and lot size as WB Weekly lot size .
but as per the requirement the MRP is run daily , i need clarification on certain things such as how does the system calculates the weekly lot size ? say if the requirement is converted into PR on the first day of the MRP run ,followed by that if the requirement varies does the system creates a new PR or it changes the Qty in the existing PR if its was not converted to PO .
what are the stock types considered during PR creation and how are the delivery dates determined during the PR creation ?

Hi Chris
You can try to set up a maximum lot size and a takt time on the material master.
Take a look on the F1 help of this field on the material master:
Takt time
If a requirement quantity (for example, for capacity reasons) cannot be procured in a single lot, you have to schedule several receipts. In conjunction with the overlap indicator in the lot size (set in Customizing for the lot size), you can use the takt time to specify that these receipts are offset, that is, that they are delayed by the takt time.
You enter the takt time in workdays.
Use
The system uses the takt time if a requirement is covered by several receipt elements due to restrictions on lot size such as maximum lot size (with all lot-sizing procedures) or rounding value (with fixed lot size with splitting).

Round Requirement quantity of component for subcontracting

Hello,
I need to round a requirement quantity of component in subcontracting PO automatically? So in MD04 it shows as rounded quantities not just the base on BOM cmponent quantity ( Only for component what we send to vendor not the kit we recieving back ).
Any help will be appreciated!

It just help planners to plan better.
We already cofigured so the components gets pick at rounded value on WM side. Its just MM side, if we can round the value for subsequent requirements. (Component requirement QTY - ERFMG)

Requirement for not changing the qty arises in the situtaion like,suppose a person has created the maint order for certain qty,and released either by him or by his superior.there is a possibility that component quanity can be changed by the lower level people.(like supervisor or technicinan).In this case ,it can be controlled by authorisation .ie Dont give order change authorisation to those people,so that componenet quanity cannot be changed by anyone other than authorised people.
This problem i am facing in my every projcet,and handling thro roles and authorisation only rather than going for making the quantity field mandatory with some devellopment and alll.

Does JDE-E1 Captures Scrap/Damaged Quantity at Component Level

Hello: I was looking if anyone could point out if JDE-E1 would be able to capture the scrap quantity of component issued to a work order—I do see that the quantity scrap is available in the Work Order completion module for the finished goods items—but don’t see the option to enter the same in the component level transaction. Yes it does. The material issues program P31113/Component Scrap P31116 will do this. You have to issue first, before you can scrap.

Report for Issued component Quantity vs Subcontracting PO component qntity

My client wants to know a report on issued Component quantity (what is issued against a Sub- contraction PO) with PO component quantity (what is maintained in a subcontracting PO component).
Is there any standard report available for the same?

Do you change child qty consumption in p.o BOM ?
Check it in mb51 541 mvmt for material for issued component quantity.
Also check reports MBLB,ME2O.

Hi Cristano,
Go to MD04 transaction, enter comopenet and plant. Then from the list select the Planned order and click on the Order Report from the bottom tool bar available below the list.
You can see the componets details for that planned order.

Requirements quantity doubled in BW for PP cube using 2lis_4_p_comp

Hi Guys,
I am facin the following problem:
For some process Orders loaded from R/3 to BW, the requirements quantity of some of the Components in the Order has got doubled. But for other components in the Same Order, the quantity shows correct values.
The data is being loaded by delta process.
I tried running RSA3 for the same Process Order. Now, in RSA3, it shows correct qunatity.
I am not sure, why the Req. quantity values got doubled in earlier delta loads.
Do let me know if anybody has faced this prob. b4.

The setup was run a long time back..
The orders that I am facing problems with are created recently.
So, I dont think duplication while running the setup is possibe.

How to put different component quantity for different subcontracting vendor

Hi,
To achieve this, you have to create alternative BOMs for the assembly with different component quantities.
First create in Alternative BOMs in CS01
1. C223 - Create Production Versions for the the assembly for each Alternative BOMs
For e.g. 0001 for Alternative BOM 1 and 0002 for Alternative BOM 2 and so on...
Production Version 0001 - For Vendor 1
Production Version 0002 - For Vendor 2 and so on...
2. ME11 - Create Subcontracting Purchase Info record for assembly, plant, purchase org and vendor 1 (Here in "Purchasing Data 1" screen, specify the Production Version "0001"), similarly for vendor 2, specify production version "0002" and so on...
3. ME21N - In PO, system will propose the BOM as per Production Version which is assigned in Purchase Info record for the vendor, material (assembly), plant and purchase organization.

MD61 for requirement quantity or ready to dispatch quantity.
