Capture Events Not Sent to Panel

Is it possible to capture ALL mouse events sent to any application, not just the events directed to my panel? Ideally I would also like to be able to cancel them so they do not get processed, or perhaps at least change the coordinates to (0, 0) so they don't do anything.

• VI containing Event Structure will not receive front panel events in LabVIEW Real-Time.

Hi again, I'm working in my first UI (attached VI).
It works when running directly from PC. It doesn't when running from cRIO, there's the message "VI containing Event Structure will not receive front panel events in LabVIEW Real-Time". I've been reading and I found that "Event structures on RT targets do not support events associated with user interface objects, such as VI panels or controls. For example, associating the Value Change event with a control does not work. RT targets support only user events".
Is that the problem? If it is, how can I create Mouse Up, Mouse Enter, Value Change (or other user interface events) user events?
If I run my VI in FPGA mode should it run?

• All day calendar events not being displayed in the notification centre for iphone 5 post ios 7 upgrade. Please help. Is it a bug?

All day calendar events not being displayed in the notification centre for iphone 5 post ios 7 upgrade. Please help. Is it a bug?
With iOS 6, the all day events showed up in the notification centre but it lacks in the upgrade iOS 7.

Same problem here. Some people pointed out that all-day events do show up in their notification center, but that seems only to be the case for birthdays (and only as text like the weather). I've tried it myself on my iPhone and iPad and it did work for birthdays but not for any other all-day events. I already sent this to Apple as a product feedback as well, as should everyone of you. The more people mention it, the faster Apple's going to fix this issue. In its current state, notification center is not a very helpful feature in my opinion. There's absolutely no point in not showing all-day events in the 'today' calendar overview.
Here's a link to the product feedback page: http://www.apple.com/feedback/
I posted my message in the iPhone section since I couldn't find a page specifically dedicated to iOS 7.
I really love the look & feel of iOS 7 but it's kinda sad to see notification center not tapping its full potential.
Cheers!

• How do you add an application event to the Applications Panel

How do you add an application event to the Applications Panel.
My previous post referred to .ashx files, and the problem seems that Firefox, by default, does not recognize a .ashx format being read by Adobe Acrobat.
Therefore there needs to be a way to add Applications and Events into the Applications Panel under Preferences

Gotcha... But actually its limited to 9 icons in the L theme as the Profiles icon is always present. From that screen hit the Menu key to display the bigger list of icons. Arange them so the first 9 icons are the ones you want to see on the L theme.

• Error : OBJECT NOT SENT

Hi Experts,
I am new to ABAP..
I am facing one dump with the message "OBJECT NOT SENT" working with User Exit only in Production Server.
Kindly help.

Hi ..
Here it is...
ABAP runtime errors RAISE_EXCEPTION
Occurred on 07.02.2007 at 10:55:17
>> Short dump has not been completely stored. It is too big.
Exception condition "OBJECT_NOT_SENT" raised.
What happened?
The current ABAP/4 program encountered an unexpected
situation.
What can you do?
Note the actions and input that caused the error.
Inform your SAP system administrator.
You can print out this message by choosing "Print". Transaction ST22
allows you to display and manage termination messages, including keeping
them beyond their normal deletion date.
Error analysis
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSOA2 " raised the exception
condition "OBJECT_NOT_SENT".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
Short description of exception condition:
Object was not sent
For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
function module from the display of active calls.
How to correct the error
If the error occurred in a non-modified SAP program, you may be
able to find a solution in the SAP note system.
If you have access to the note system yourself, use the following
search criteria:
"RAISE_EXCEPTION"
"SAPLSOA2 " or "LSOA2U01 "
"SO_OBJECT_SEND"
or
"SAPLSOA2 " "OBJECT_NOT_SENT"
or
"SAPMV45A " "OBJECT_NOT_SENT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please send the
following documents to SAP:
1. A hard copy print describing the problem.
To obtain this, select the "Print" function on the current screen.
2. A suitable hardcopy prinout of the system log.
To obtain this, call the system log with Transaction SM21
and select the "Print" function to print out the relevant
part.
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, you can either use the "PRINT" command in the editor or
print the programs using the report RSINCL00.
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

Captivate 5.5 Question: We seem to be having an issue with the screen capture piece not recording "everything".
We're running 5.5 as an administrator on Windows 7 and my co-worker is trying to capture a webinar (GoToMeeting) with Captivate and it is not recording anything in the GTM window, except the last slide. Anyone have this problem or know a fix? Not much is mentioned in the Adobe forums.

Captivate simply doesn't 'hear' some screen events on certain applications and you just need to resort to doing manual captures at these points.
I usually set up my manual capture button to be F2 so that I can hit it with my left hand while my right hand is on the mouse navigating through the task.

I know this is late, but I think it can be helpful to those trying to send RADIUS accounting information.
I tried this out, and the reason this seems not to be sending the accounting information is because of the delay-start.
The delay-start does not seem to work with 802.11 connection accounting.

• XI R3.1 publication success / fail notifications not sent

I have a set of 3 publications created and working fine in R3.1 (EDGE), each of which distributes a report to a UNC fileshare location. Upon success or failure, each is configured to send an email notification to an admin.
The publications work and distribute the reports fine, but 1 of the 3 email notifications will sporadically fail (not an explicit failure, but the notification email is not sent), and I do not see any errors captured for the recurrence itself nor in the publication log - everything indicates success. To add to this, it is seemingly random which one of the 3 notifications is not be sent - I don't see any pattern.
All 3 publications finish at nearly the same time, so I'm wondering if there is some sort of SMTP block going on that cannot be captured within the BOBJ layer? We only have a single job server that these destinations are processed through, and the SMTP destination is enabled and configured fine.
Has anybody come across anything like this? Any thoughts on what the root cause may be?
Thanks.....

Hi
can you check the logs of your SMTP server to see if the BOBJ server tried indeed to send 3 mails?
Regards,

I have recently install CSA MC 6.0.0.201 and the agent on a Win2003 server. I have a question of events showing up in the agent panel and not showing up in the MC events log.
I see a number of events in the agent 'panel' event viewer. At the end of the event is a number in brackets like [176].
When I look at the MC event viewer but those events are not being reported.
My query is:
#1 I believe the example [176} is the rule being triggered. So if the event is not showing up in the event viewer how to I find that rule in the policies? I finally did stumble across the rule and I see that logging is disabled for that rule, but finding that rule was a needle in the haystack search. Is there an easier way to find rules?
#2 Maybe I do not understand this part but in the MC I placed this server (the one with the MC) into 'Audit Mode' in hopes that would get the events from the agent to show up in the MC event log. No good. Is there a way to get all events - even if the rule says to not log the event - so show up in the MC log so I can creat an exception?
Thanks
Larry

Tom,
I think I may have made some progress. Yes I'm in advanced mode. I went into Systems | Groups and first selected the 'Servers' and turned on logging. Still most the events in the agent event viewer were not making it to the MC event log.
So I went back in to the Systems | Groups and found there was a group called 'Servers - CSA Management Center' and turned on logging there and that got the events to start flowing into the MC events.
Maybe this will help me get going.

• RE: (forte-users) Posted Event Not Seen by EventLoop

Hi,
Event registration occurs when an event loop is activated. If your event
loop is activated before your SO is ready and registered (Init must be
finished) the event loop will be not registered for the event on your SO.
This is a typical example of race condition. A race condition may occur when
two or more processes execute simultaneously and the final result depends on
which process finishes first. Please redesign your project.

I have two classes & an SO in a given project.
ManagerClass : object
InterfaceClass : object
ManagerSO : ManagerClass
ManagerClass has the attribute
theInterfaceClass : InterfaceClass
InterfaceClass has the attribute
theManagerClass : Manager Class
The ManagerClass Init method performs a new on
theInterfaceClass and then does a start task on a
method within theInterfaceClass which starts an
external connection listening on a port.
The method also sets theInterfaceClass.theManagerClass
to ManagerSO.
A method gets called in the ManagerClass which writes
to the external connection port within the
theInterfaceClass and then starts an event loop in the
ManagerClass to wait for notification.
When the started task for listening on the external
connection receives data, it calls a method within the
ClassManager - theClassManager.CallMethod(returndata);
The CallMethod actually posts an event within the
ClassManager which the event loop started earlier is
waiting on.
The event does get posted, however, the event loop
that was started never receives the event?!?!?
There are no lower level event loops that
should trap this event prior to this point.
The call to perform the "write" on the external
connection is done as a postregister in the event
loop, so that the event is registered before a post
for the event occurs.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks in advance for any light you might shed.

Check if ManagerSO = ManagerSO.theInterfaceClass.theManagerClass
Why does InterfaceClass call a methon the the SO? Why doesn't it simply post
its own event, that the SO is registered for?

• All notes on ipad not sent to icloud

Only some of notes on iPad are being sent to the cloud. Therefore only these notes are pushed to other devises. How can I get all the notes sent to icloud?

First check that all your settings are correct, that notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the notes you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device, or the left side panel in mail on a computer), non iCloud notes will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your notes are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing.

• Error: File just captured could not be read and was deleted after capture.

I was just recording an extremely important interview. I have recorded literally 10.000 recordings before with the same setup, every day, over a period of some three years now. I'm recorging DV PAL through SDI input on a AJA KONA LS card.
It seemed to be going well last night while recording but as soon as I pressed 'Esc' to end the capture I got an error message saying (not exactly in these words) : Error: The file just captured could not be read.
The file couldn't be found anywhere on the HD or in the trash. Usually when something goes wrong during capture, you can find the file in the capture folder named 'filename-av'. Not this time, I have never seen this error message before.
The person being interviewed was absolutely furious and said he would not do the interview again. So I'm up against the wall here, and need to recover the files.
What's more, the problem still persists. When I try capturing again, as soon as I stop the same error occurs. So now my FCP is not capturing anymore
I tried running Data Rescue 3.1 and found the recording in deleted files, but:
1. the recording is in several parts (not sure if it's all there, but probably most of it)
2. Data Rescue 3 interprets the files as .dv files, as opposed to .mov files as all my other recorded material.
3. THERE IS NO AUDIO IN THE .DV FILES, which pretty much nullifies the file recovery altogether.
I tried googling this error, but it did not help much:
1. None of the people were capturing the same way I do (most were capturing from tape, none straight through KONA SDI input)
2. There was no solution to prevent the error.
3. No solution to recover the files either.
I must say, this experience really taught me the essence of Murphy's law: 'Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong at the worst possible moment'
Any suggestions as to the reasons for this?
Any suggestions as to how the files can be recovered?

Good news!
I beleive I have found the cause and solution. At least now I am able to reproduce the problem at will and therefore, hopefully prevent it.
I discovered that there is nothing wrong with my AJA KONA setup, as I was able to capture with both QuickTime movie capture and Adobe Premier just fine. But every time I try capturing in FCP I get unreadable capture files (since 2 days ago).
Trying all possible capture settings, capture presets or easy setups did nothing. (although capturing thru Firewire still works every time).
I was about to give up when I noticed that where I usually have my video scopes window running, for convenience sake, under it the Voiceover utility was running.
So here is the deal: Usually when you try and capture with the Voiceover utility running, you can't. FCP wont allow you to capture, it will return an error message saying: 'Log and capture can not be opened while Voice Over is running. Please close Voice Over and try again.' As it turns out, this warning is probably for a good reason.
BUT...
If you shut down FCP with Voice Over running and start it up again THEN you CAN run Log and Capture at the same time... everything looks OK, until you stop the recordin, then you get an error message saying your recording is screwed.
I tried this over and over again, every time it behaves the same way. Shutting down with VO util>starting up again>recordings get screwed .. close VO utility>back to normal operation.
I'm not sure if it was the VO utility the last time this happened (few weeks back), but it might very well be. I might not have noticed that the VO utility was running as it was hidden behind the videoscopes and there are no warnings when running Log and Capture if you start up FCP with VO utility still running.
My educated guess to what is going on is that the VO utility is taking up priority over the sound inputs and by doing so making the audio of the capture unreadable. This theory is supported by the fact that when my data recovering experts found the recordings on the HD, there was no audio on the files, but the video was intact.
The only reason setting up the AJA drivers helped in the past was probably because that flushed the FCP settings and in doing so closed the VO utility window. How very ironic
Hope this helps someone out there. And I hope Apple find a way to prevent this from happening.
cheers!

• CO54: Message is not sent to any destination: Commit Work is getting failed

Hello,
While processing the Messages from XFP to SAP Update is getting terminated due to the use of Commit Work. SAP Note 147467 - Update termination when sending process messages has been referred which is for 4.6C, but we are in ECC6.0.
While processing the message in second iteration Commit Work triggres and Update happens in the data base.
Following Issue is only concerned with Nested HUs
T-Code used CO54
Following are the analysis:
it looks like u201CCreate and Post a Physical Inventory Docu201D is failing in the initial processing because the inventory doc is created when the Transfer Order to the PSA (or the TO from the PSA) is not yet completed (quant is still locked somehow).
CO54, process message category=ZHU_CONS: HU to be consumed is a nested pallet (unpacking/ repacking and TOs to/from) and qty to consume is greater that HU qty in SAP (creation of a physical inventory doc is required).
1. The error occurs while clearing the inventory posting for the physical inventory document.
2. The surprising factor is the u201CProcess Messageu201D is not processed correctly for the first time.
3. Indeed it is successfully processed without any error if you do process it second time.

Hope you have carried out following things in Production ( Please refer to SAP help before actually doing it in production).
1. Transport the predefined characteristics from the SAP reference client (000) to your logon client.
2. Adopt Predefined Message Categories - In this step, you copy the process message categories supplied by SAP from internal tables as Customizing settings in your plants.

• The apexafterrefresh event not being fired in Chart IR's

Hi all,
I am adding additional functionality to IR reports using the plug-in architecture in Apex 4.1.1. A Dynamic action has been added to the "After Refresh" event for the #apexir_WORKSHEET_REGION jQuery selector.
This works fine in all cases except when no data is found in the report. This has been fixed in 4.2 so I can live with this until the upgrade. However, it also does not work when a chart is created in the report, the apexafterrefresh event does not get raised. Therefore my dynamic action will not fire. Looking at the apex_interactive_reports_4_1.js this event gets raised for the table element with an ID stored in apexir_WORKSHEET_ID ie:
apex.jQuery('#' + $v("apexir_WORKSHEET_ID")).trigger('apexafterrefresh', that.report_id);However this table element does not get rendered when a Chart is displayed and therefore the apexafterrefresh will not get raised.
In apex 4.2 the widget.interactiveReport.js has been modified to handle the no data found but not charts:
var lTriggeringElement$, lWorksheetId;
lWorksheetId = $v( "apexir_WORKSHEET_ID" );
if ( $x( lWorksheetId ) ) {
// If the table element containing data exists (ie when the report returns rows),
// use that to trigger the event.
lTriggeringElement$ = apex.jQuery( '#' + lWorksheetId );
} else {
// Otherwise, use the span holding the no data found message.
lTriggeringElement$ = apex.jQuery( '#apexir_NO_DATA_FOUND_MSG' );
lTriggeringElement$.trigger( 'apexafterrefresh', that.report_id );I have created a test case on apex.oracle.com - http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=41357:1 In this example I simply display an alert from a Dynamic action with the following attributes:
Event - After Refresh
Selection Type - Region
Region - Interactive Report
As can be seen when the user navigates to the report the alert displays, however when you navigate to the Chart the alert does not display.
In my mind this is a bug and the IR reports JavaScript should be modified to raise the event apexir_WORKSHEET DIV Element instead. This would fix both issues.
Any ideas on how to overcome this issue?
Thanks
Chris.

For everyone's information Bug 16029272 - ALERT (APEXAFTERREFRESH EVENT) NOT BEING FIRED IN CHART OF INTERACTIVE REPORTS has been raised regarding this issue.
