Capture serial number at the time of shipment /delivery

Created Serial profile - XXXX
Added below procedure in it.
Profile         Description                                      serial usage   Eqip req
SDCC      Completness check for delivery                   03          01
SDRE      Maintain returns delivery                               03          01
"Exist Req" Column in Serial number profile: overview is unchecked / not selected as the requirement is, serial numbers should be entered during a business transaction but not as master data.
Hence didnot use t code IQ0 and created any serial number for material.
Assigned Serial profile in Sales tab and General plant 2 view of Material master.
After i create Sales order, i am Unable to populate serial number in VL01N (Delivery). i,e ..in Our bound delivery--> extras--> serial number..i click but ..i donot see ant fileds where i can enter serial numbers manullly.
Is there any setting iam missing?

Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

Unless you registered it, for warranty purposes, with the manufacturer, there's no way.
Or if you have the box it came in, the box may have the S/N.

Sale invoice pick same serial number in two time

Dear All,
issue is when i m genrate a sale invoice of particuler trator material t100001 with the serial number AM1005 dated 11-3-2008 .
and after 11-3-2008 again dated 12-3-2008 when i create new sale invoice of particuler trator material number t100001 then system again show me same AM1005 serial number which one i m already used in pervius sale invoice date 11-3-2008
how it can poosible if once a sale invoice genrate with paticuler serial number so why the again genrate sale invoice same serail number
why the sale invoice pick same serial number in two time ?
kindlly tell me how can i resolve this problem ?

So I bought a Used copy of final cut pro 7, but i cant use it because I need a serial number and the serial number that came with it doesn't work. What do I do?

I bought my copy from ebay and when i got it I installed it, but every time i click on final cut pro 7 it asks for a serial number and when i put the on that came with it, it tells me it an invalid serail number. It is kinda making me want ti throw my mac out the window and just stick with windows.

First, find out if you bought an "Upgrade" version, or a "Full" version.
If you have an "Upgrade" version, it will require two serial numbers to work - first, the serial number of the last "Full" version you are upgrading from, then the serial number of the "Upgrade" software you are installing.

There is no serial number on the box!

I have bought a new computer and am trying to install a less than two years old Photoshop Elements 11 on my new computer.
There is no serial number on the box.
I didn't register it when I bought it, even if I have an Adobe account.
I can't register without a serial number, it's a catch 22-situation.
But somehow I managed to install it on my old computer.
The chat support sucks! We chatted for an hour, they got the issue nowhere, and then the closed the chat support and just left. Just a waste of my time ...
Right now I starting to hate Adobe. Please help my to not get there ...

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

Dosaigeon I would recommend reviewing the I have a Student and Teacher Edition product section of Find a serial number. The process varies depending on how you purchased the product and what country you are located in.

My t500 lost its Serial Number when the board was replaced

The main board of my T500 failed 2 months ago while under warranty. It went in to IBM for repair and was declined warranty coverage because of alleged liquid damage............I was very surprised by this diagnosis and asked for the evidence which was not provided....The caller from IBM said he was not the technician who did the inspection, so he could not discuss the findings. He was clear though that there would be no coverage. I was however offered a repair for about $900, but since the parts were not available at that time, the return could be 6 weeks or more. I was angry at this point and declined the repair. I found a remanufactured board from Malaysia and installed it myself..Total cost was $350 and 2 hours of my time. I still am trying to accept the rejection of warranty coverage....I looked very closely and found no evidence that the computer was inspected internally. When I replaced the board, there was definitely no liquid damage.....I cannot believe that IBM would do this to a customer who has purchased 5 IBMs over 10 years. The technicians likely saw the pealing paper under my T500 that I caused by using screen wipes to clean off the dust. This they must have extrapolated to make their diagnosis....I expected more. Since then, my T500 has fallen out of warranty....3 weeks now....The problem is, the new main board replacement caused the Serial Number to be lost from the registry (hardware) and replaced with a TP-6F......if I set it to the proper model number in the registry, It will participate in a software update once, then the registry resets to the TP-6F at reboot. I called IBM support and was told there was nothing that could be done as my warranty had run out. Any help would be appreciated as to a way to permanently reload the model and serial number in the bios as It cannot edited manually.

To feed Type/Model/Serial number etc. info. in the BIOS, a maintenance diskette is required, the access to which is only available to lenovo techs, business partners, and authorized service providers. Since you replaced the system board yourself, therefore I'm not certain if lenovo or it's service providers would help you on this...

I have a scenario where the client wants to
capture the serial numbers during the picking?
capture the serial numbers during the goods issue?
is there any standard RF transactions in ECC 6.0 for capturing serial numbers while picking and GI process? or do we need customization? Please explain.

SAP has included this functionality "Capturing serial numbder during picking" from ERP ECC 5.0 onwords.
LM80 is the standard RF transaction code for capturing serial number.

Serial Number for the invoiced item

I need to find out the serial number for the invoiced item. For ex: I have an order with an item with qty 3 and they all the received in the inventory (drop ship case). But I have invoiced only one qty of the item and I need to find out serial number for this specific item.
I am using the query below but getting the sr no for all the 3 qty of the item.

I am looking for any pre-exisitng link between these entities. If it doesn't exist or is not possible at all without any customization, just wanted to confirm it.
Also, when records are interfaced to the AR and autoinvoicing is run, we may populate any attribute column to capture the sr.# but again, how can we specifically determine the sr. no. for the item being invoiced. I think we'll have to pick anyone out of the 3 generated in the above example. Similarly, if we invoice the rest 2 items later, then we'll have to assign the remaining 2 sr. #s to each of these 2 items in any order.
Please let me know if this is what you meant.

Serial Number on the Delivery Challan

One of my Client needs the Serial No on the Delivery Challan itself and just below the Item Code. As per his request i made the Store Procedure which i have asked the user to run after saving the Delivery.
The Store Procedure update the serial number in the user-defined field ie u_serialnumber of DLN1 table. And from there it is copied to AR Invoice and is displayed on the AR Invoice, But whenever i open the Delivery document, the button is always shown in the "Update" mode and then i have to click on Update and navigate. Why is it so ?
What can i do after running a Store Procedure, that the button remains in the "OK" mode while navigating and not in "Update" mode.

The only time a Form's state changes to UPDATE is when there is a change to the values on the Form.
First and foremost, using a Stor Proc to UPDATE an SAP table is not encouraged by SAP as it could potentially damage the tables / database.
In Version 2007 the Serial numbers and Batch numbers have been included to print as part of the Delivery / Invoice document itself and not on a seperate page.
My recommendation would be to avoid using a Stor Proc and risk loosing support from SAP if something were to go wrong.
I feel that it is either your stored procedure or some other formatted search which is set to refresh regularly that is causing the Form's state to change to UPDATE.
Please disconnect the Stor Proc and then review what happens and also check for any other FMS.
