CardLayout with JScrollPane: Make card changes show top of card

I'm sure that I'm not the first one to ask this, but I could not find the answer anywhere else on this forum.
I have a CardLayout that shows two cards.
Each card has a JScrollPane on it, so that you can scroll the contents.
In my program, I switch the views of each card back and forth, the problem is:
if I show Card A, then scroll to the bottom of Card A
then switch to Card B,
then switch back to Card A,
I see the bottom of Card A.
I want to Card A from the top. I am using jdk 1.3.1
Any ideas?

During the handler (lisener) calls that do the switching, make a call like the followingmyScrollPane.getViewport().
setViewPosition(new Point(0,0))

Yes, it's frustrating.
I don't have my iPod with me but, as I recall, the change is done in Settings/Store. That change will apply to NEW purchases. However, be aware that all purchases are permanently associated with the Apple ID that was originally used. Generally, it's only a problem when you need to update an app. IF you do your updating from iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. It's easier from the iPod as you do not need to log out/in but you do need to know the password.
Unfortunately, you can not merge IDs nor can you transfer purchases from one ID to another. Go here to find out exactly what you have. I have the same problem so I deliberately made both passwords identical to make things slightly easier for me.

You don't change it.
It will use any account balance first, once it is gone, then it will go to your credit card.

Tried to make a purchase thru Itunes with a credit card I have been using for years. Now it wants my security code which I entered three times and it said it was wrong (I know the correct) number. whenever you attempt to put a card on itunes it puts a temporary $1 authorization hold for 24 hours - 48 hours depending on your bank - since you attempted so many times that is why that $1 is showing up so often - are you using a debit card? because if you are then if even the authorization hold doesn't go through like it should it will show a "ghost" charge that will drop off soon - it isn't fraud though - make sure your billing address is correct - if that doesn't work contact itunes store at getsupport.apple.com - click itunes - itunes store and follow the prompts and you can chat or email them.

Sandy has it right, when possible gift cards are used before credit cards. For more information about gift crads can be found in iTunes Store: How to redeem an iTunes Gift Card.
When you buy individual songs from the iTunes Store:
Free song credits are redeemed first.
If you have no free song credits, gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
If your gift certificate, prepaid card, and/or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.
When you buy an album on the iTunes Store:
Gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used first.

It's been a while sense I used a gift card; but from what I remember, when you have credits from a card. There was a little bar that displayed my current balance. For instance, when I added the gift card, The balance showed as +20.00, i bough a song, the balanced changed to +19.01.

How to make Dictionary results show up at the top in Spotlight?

Hi, I used to use Dictionary a lot when writing papers. However, since upgrading from Leopard to Lion Spotlight has been showing results differently. Is there a way to change how Spotlights shows search results so that I can get my "Thesaurus-fix" from Dictionary first again.. For "chair" it shows Top hit, documents, pdf documents, music, and then ... "Look Up", which I want FIRST! :-)

( I search for iChat questions when I have finished in the iChat Forum)
So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

Hi, My Apple TV 1st generation is showing the apple logo and the amber light keeps blinking, after a while it shows a little Apple TV with a question mark blinking on top, any ideas?

Well my question says it all. I wasn´t using the apple tv, but noticed that the amber light started to blink, so I put it on the tv and there was the apple logo. I did the recory with the "MENU" + "-" button, but came back the same. After a while it showed a little Apple TV image with a "?" mark blinking on top. I disconected it the whole night but today is doing the same. Is like it got stuck on the restart. Can anyone help me?

Fixed it after trying everything listed here with no success.
First you will need to make sure you have the ability to connect your ATV box directly to your router via a cable. This issue is directly related to networking from my experience and once connected to wifi you will have a nightmare of a time to complete the fix.
1. Make sure you have NO network connection to the ATV box.
2. Hard reboot ATV using remote (aim remote at device and hold "menu" and "down/minus" until amber light blinks)
3. When ATV reboots to a diagnostic menu select "Factory Restore"
4. After Restore has completed select a language
5. You cannot skip the the wifi selection screen without setting up a connection, however: DO NOT SETUP WIFI! Instead plug in the direct cable to your router, and hit the menu button on your remote. You will see "connecting to network."
6 Once you are past the start up splash video you will eventually arrive at the connect to itunes screen which will start looping the apple logo and a new code about every 2 seconds. Disconnect the network cable.
7. After a few seconds the loop will stop. Press the menu button to skip the itunes connection (you will be able to do it later.)
8. At the following menu go to Settings > Screen Saver > Set delay for "Never"
9. Go back to the main menu, then go to Settings > Network > Configure TCP/IP > Click on "Using DHCP"
9. Click "Done"
10. Connect cable to router, and then proceed with updating your ATV.
After I was updated the problem did not return.
I have completed this solution personally twice on the same unit. After getting updated and stable, I recovered my ATV again, and had the same problems again. Repeated these steps and good to go.

Cannot figure out what your talking about since it makes no sense.
If you are the account owner you can go to the My Verizon web portal http://www.verizonwireless.com
You must log in with your cell number and your my Verizon portal password. Not the account pin.
Once there you can change your plan and services. However repeated incorrect login attempts will lock you out of the site. It a fraud prevention measure.
1-800-922-0204 call support with your cell number and or account number and account pin and they can assist you.
If you don't have the information then there is nothing they can do.
If you can verify who you are they may be able to reset your account access. But only if you are the account owner.

Connect your device to iTunes and in the the window were all the apps are greyed out make sure the 'Sync Apps' checkbox (top left corner) is selected.

My itunes account shows I have a balance of 5.37 but when I go to pay for a song for 1.29 it will not let me access thia account. Instead it asks me to pay with a credit card.
