  • URGENT..How to Run Cash Flow Report.

How do I run the cashflow report. I opened the cash flow report by going in t.code S_ALR_87012272. I entered the co. code and the g/l accounts, and the fiscal year and executed the report. But it opened a screen with no records found, although the g/l accounts have balances. Why are they not getting picked up. Is there a special way to run the cash flows report. Is it different from Financial Statement version. It is very urgent, so if I can get some help, I will greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks
    Lakshmi

    Hi Krishnan,
Can you please tell me why is the cash flow report not picking any data though I assigned the correct FSV to it. There is another thing that I wouldlike to mention here. When I go in report painter and display the form for cash flow, though I have assigned the correct FSV in General selection, I see the FS item as 300000 which is not what is on the financial statement. On the financial statment version it is the text like petty cash and not any number like 300000 as financial item. Do I need to set up petty cash in the form in place of 300000 (because 300000 does not exist in fsv as a finacial item) Does it eman I will have to enter for each items on the cash flow report
    Thanks in advance

  • Cash Requirement Report

    Hello,
I need to query on some invoices that has the same APPROVAL as the Cash Requirement Report. Where does the approval on the cash requirement come from? Is it a field in a certain table or does it come from a stored procedure? I am going through the documentation, but have not been able to find it yet. Can someone clue me in? Perhaps refer me to a document? Thanks for your help in advance.

Well, I understand that the cash requirement report shows No for this column if there are any holds on an invoice. I need to figure out a query that tells me if an invoice has a hold or not. From looking on the tables, can we tell if there is a hold on a given invoice? I checked out AP_TEMP_APPROVAL_ALL, but there does not seem to be anything that links to invoice numbers in AP_INVOICES_ALL.

  • Cash Income and Cash Expense report

    Hi all,
i need a report where i can get cash income report based on payment means i.e. thorough cheque, through credit card, cash and also cash expense report based on cheque and cash. I tried to make a query but it doesnt give any result nor any error. Can anyone suggest a query to fetch this data?? I dont understand what is wrong in this query!!
    SELECT T0.[CardCode], T0.[CardName], T1.[DocNum], T1.[DocDate], T1.[CashSum], T1.[CreditSum], T1.[CheckSum],
    T2.[CheckNum], T2.[Branch], T2.[AcctNum], T3.[DocNum], T3.[CashSum], T3.[CreditSum], T3.[CheckSum],
    T4.[CheckNum], T4.[BankCode], T4.[AcctNum], T4.[CheckSum]
    FROM OCRD T0  INNER JOIN ORCT T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode INNER JOIN RCT1 T2
    ON T1.DocEntry = T2.DocNum INNER JOIN OVPM T3 ON T0.CardCode = T3.CardCode INNER JOIN VPM1 T4
    ON T3.DocEntry = T4.DocNum
Please suggest a better query that can fetch the data customer / vendor wise i.e the selection criteria should be a BP, either a customer or vendor or both bt income first and then expense.
    Thanks in advance,
    Joseph

    Try this one:
    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T1.DocNum Incoming, T1.DocDate, T1.CashSum, T1.CreditSum, T1.CheckSum,
    T2.CheckNum, T2.Branch, T2.AcctNum, T3.DocNum Outioing, T3.CashSum, T3.CreditSum, T3.CheckSum,
    T4.CheckNum, T4.BankCode, T4.AcctNum, T4.CheckSum
    FROM DBO.OCRD T0
    LEFT JOIN DBO,ORCT T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode
    LEFT JOIN DBO.RCT1 T2 ON T1.DocEntry = T2.DocNum
    LEFT JOIN DBO.OVPM T3 ON T0.CardCode = T3.CardCode
    LEFT JOIN DBO.VPM1 T4 ON T3.DocEntry = T4.DocNum
    WHERE T0.CardCode LIKE '[%0\]%'

  • Cash Advance Discover IT (NOT "Cash Over")

I saw in another post that cash advances from Discover are not recorded as a cash advance on your Discover account, rather listed as just a purchase. Anyone know if this is true? I use my Wells Fargo Visa as my overdraft protection for my checking acount and 14 months ago I used that service. When applying for a CLI that was the reason used for the denial - that I had a cash advance in the last 18 months. I don't know if I could even use a credit card not issued by Wells Fargo as overdraft protection. To sum up: 1) are cash advances not seen as cash advances, but rather just a purchase, by Discover2) are cash advances always looked upon negatively (obv Wells Fargo Visa views them this way or it would not be used as a reason to deny a CLI)3) if the answer to question #2 is yes, would I even want to use Discover as overdraft protection for a Wells Fargo checking account, would Discover see it in a bad way4) since an overdraft is not reported on your credit report, yes the balance is, but I don't believe anyone could determine if a cahs advance was made just by looking at my CR - when I apply for a mortgage could this be identified?

But if you don't care about interest, then what does it matter whether the cash advances comes up as a cash advance or a purchase? You're not coming across rude; just a bit unclear as to what you are asking. Anyway, I don't understand why you are so concerned about overdraft/cash advances. In my opinion, there should be no reason to ever plan to take a cash advance i.e. it should be an emergency. And why you would ever expect to have an overdraft is confusing to me, too. In short....why are you planning for this to happen? It's confusing. No offense but if you are planning to take on a mortgage I think you need to be able to manage your money without resorting to cash advances and/or overdrafts. That sounds rude but it's the truth. No an overdraft will not hurt your credit but I could see lenders looking on it poorly because it's showing lack of responsibility for your money. As I noted in my original post - I was denied a CLI due to the fact that I took a cash advance on the card. There is no planning on getting an OD or CA, there are no worries on managing money, I pay all cards off in full after reporting every cycle, I was already approved for a mortgage 15 months ago but decided to wait. I am in a better financial situation now, money and credit score wise, then I was then - there is only trying to determine what harm the advance I took in the past has done. And, no, it doesn't sound rude, why would that sound rude? As for why I am asking these final two questions - becuase I am interested. I did not realize a cash advance was looked at in a bad light by creditors and I am a person that has an interest in educating themselves on these issues. When I joined myFICO I knew about as much on credit as your average Joe, now I know much more but will always be a student. I did not realize I had to justify why I have the questions I have but I hope I have justified them to your satisfaction. Now, where were we, ah, yes, my last two questions: 2) are cash advances always looked upon negatively (obv Wells Fargo Visa views them this way or it would not be used as a reason to deny a CLI) 4) can an over-draft be indentified on a credit report, and if so, can this affect a mortgage application (I edited this question for clarity)I think being denied a CLI because of a cash advance is because of risk. Generally someone who is taking a cash advance is desperate for money and has no other option. This doesn't bode well for a creditor wanting to extend you more credit and therefore more risk. That is why it is looked upon negatively, and also why if you notice, with most cards your cash limit is far, far less than your actual credit limit. I don't think an overdraft can show up on a credit report so no it would not hurt your mortgage app.Thank you, those spoke directly to my questions, much appreciated. With regard to the cash advance, it was my fault done when I knew less about credit. I used a credit card to make my monthly car loan payment at my credit union thinking I was showing good use, however, I did not realize that it was not a credit card charge. They were first taking a cash advance, then putting it towards the car loan payment. It was my ignorance on credit at the time for not realizing that it mattered how they did it at the credit union counter. With regard to the overdraft protection, I had multiple accounts with multiple institutions, checking and saving, that I don't really need but were set up when I first opened the accounts. I had an auto-transfer set up to take X amount of dollars out of one account and deposit it into another. I then changed the account that my salary is auto-deposited into thus leaving nothing in the account that the transfer was supposed to come from.  Time came for the auto-transfer and nothing was there so overdraft protection was used. Happened once which then kicked me into closing all these extra accounts I don't need - but the damage was done. How much damage, how long it would affect me, and who could see it I did not know thus the reason for my post.

I use my BOFA credit card as overdraft protection for my BOFA account but I normally pay if off before the statement cuts. The overdraft transfers are considered cash advance in this case but it hasnt stopped me from getting a CLI. Regarding Wells Fargo's reason for denial being due to a cash advance I have never heard that.

  • How are *Credit Card*--Cash Advances handled?

How are *Credit Card*--Cash Advances handled? Can employees add that to their Expense report?
Example: If the employee takes a $100 cash advance and reconciles the transaction in SAP Expense, we are expected to pay
    Credit Card Provider $100.
However, how does the employee account for underutilizing that $100 (e.g. $20 remaining in their pocket).
Does the individual create and link the $80 of expenses to that $100 cash advance and receive a $20 debit to their employee vendor?
Also, we know that currently there is no MCC Code Mapping in the system for Cash Advance.
Is there a work around this.

    Hi Rahul,
I had a customer which had this situation. We solved this issue with a BAdI implementation in ERP.
The traveler adds this withdrawal as a normal expense item which is assigned to special account alias code. The BAdI implementation recongnizes this alias code and removes the expenses and charges this costs to the employee.
    Example:
    Withdrawal        100 USD
    Taxi                     80 USD
    Bus                        5 USD
    Unused                15 USD
    Standard posting to FI:
    Taxi Costs                           80,00
    Bus Costs                            5,00
    Withdrawal                          100,00
    Employee Vendor                                85,00
    Credit Card Account                          100,00
    The correct  posting would be:
    Taxi Costs                           80,00
    Bus Costs                           5,00
    Employee                           15,00
    Credit Card Account                         100,00
To achieve this posting it is required to
map the withdrawal expense type to a special account alias code (in the coding
example below: ADV)  and  to implement the following coding in BAdI
    BADI_DCFL_FIN_IDOC_DATA_TV:
DATA: lr_item               TYPE REF TO dcfls_preproc_it.
DATA: lr_vendor_item         TYPE REF TO dcfls_preproc_it.

            DELETE cs_preproc-item WHERE rtkey_it = lr_item->rtkey_it.
          ELSE.

            <tv_item_adv>-tv_category = '01'.

  • Regarding Cash Flow report

    Hi all,
one of my clients has asked for the cash flow report to be modified. They are making incoming payment and outgoing payments with different series for cash and cheque. However, in the PLD of the cash flow report they want the title to be as " Cash Book" in case they select cash and " Bank Book" when they select the cheques. Is this possible in pld or is there any other way to achieve this?? Please suggest.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Cash receipt report

    Hello,
Is there any standard SAP Cash Receipt report? I tried by did not find any.
    Thank you!
    Jan

    Dear Jan,
There is standard cash received report in SAP. But u can get incoming paymens as well as outgoing payment reports from S_ALR_87012309.
If business really need that cash colletion report, suggest to use separate document type for incoming cash receipts.
