CCMS autoreaction assignment disappears / deleted

I am encountering an issue with the autoreaction assignments for availability monitoring using CCMS in my Solution Manager system.
I have setup CCMS Availability monitoring using CCMSPING in my landscape and I can see the monitors in transaction RZ20 and all data is being reported correctly. I have made autoreaction method assignments based on instance availability to the MTE's in RZ20 and these have even produced alerts as expected.
However, after some time, the autoreaction assignment mysteriously disappears from the MTE. The MTE simply shows that no method has been assigned. All other autoreaction assignments do not have this problem, this problem only occurs with Availability MTEs. Is there some event or monitoring segment method execution that could be resetting the method assignment for these?
I have read note 939616 on Auto-reaction troubleshooting, but there is nothing that matches this situation. The autoreaction assignments work and alerts are triggered, but the assignment disappears or is deleted from the MTE after a while [several weeks].

It is possible this is due to note 660126 and the way the method is assigned - please check this
Please also be aware some monitors are not ideal candidates for auto-reaction method so it could be that
the MTE type does not perform status changes which would result in an auto-reaction

I create a brand new plan based on a template.
A task in that plan has a team resource assigned. the task is fixed work. The PM may change the work and duration but not the team resource.

Trying to stop the swap to Salesforce - but the errors keep a coming

oooch - I can fix it - I need delete the task and recreate it. Which is amazingly tedious as I cannot see if a task needs recreating or not. There's 10 template plans and an average of 200 tasks - then I have to rename the template - the assign the
new template to the EPT - this will be a long night; with only complaints at the end.

CUP - Unable to assign and delete role at the same time

Hello everybody,
I have an issue with CUP.
Regarding a change account request, if I assign roles, it works. In the other hand, if I delete roles (also with a change account request) it works too. But if I mix both of them in the same request (assigning and deleting roles) it doesn't works. Only the deletion works. Some times we have no error message and some times we have:
Error provisioning your request. Request no: 94. Error occurred in the system(s) : n/a, error details :
DR1CLNT200-ZTEST01-USER CREATE-Function template /VIRSA/BAPI_USER_CHANGE could not be retrieved from DR1CLNT200
Do you have please an idea to solve this issue?
For information the CUP used is a 5.3 SP 5.0 version.

Hi Ben,
There may be a possibility of such a behaviour in SP05 as many of the changes in code has been done
till now which may result into such issue and we can't confirm your findings by re-creating it. However, you can check few things functionally which may resolve this issue:-
1) This error usually comes when the role selected is already assigned to the user or user doesn't exist in the system for which change request is created.
2) when this error encounters the system, please take the system logs for that time from 'Monitoring' tab under configuration in 'English' and there the error cause can be found out or please paste the logs so that we can analyse.
3) Also, you can refer to SAP Note:- 1168508 where many of the role related issues have been resolved after SP05, therefore, for smooth functioning of GRC-CUP 5.3, it's better to upgrade to the latest SP i.e. SP18.11(available at SMP).

Some (not all) emails disappearing / deleting themselves from folders in the Mail app on iPhone 4S

I am having an issue with some of my emails disappearing on my iPhone 4S and I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar issues and might offer a solution? I have three email accounts on my iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (of which include my iCloud @mac.com and Yahoo!) and all are set up as IMAP so that I can be sure both devices remain in sync at all times. The issue occurs when I go into any of my archive email folders, in any one of my three email accounts and let the iPhone sync with the server so that it is up-to-date. Sometimes - not everytime - I will watch as one of my most recent emails that is cached on the phone suddenly vanishes as it pulls down the rest of the emails archived in that folder. As soon as that email vanishes, it will then automatically remove it from the server (being that it is IMAP) and that email is then gone for good. It has not been moved to trash or any other folder because I can subsequently log into Yahoo! mail for instance and do a complete search for it and it won't find it at all. At first I thought it was my fat thumb (!!!) that had acidentally hit delete on the email but it is happening around twice a week and it has only happened since getting my iPhone 4S. I have contacted Apple support by phone and they suggested completely wiping the phone and restoring from backup, of which I have done. I have changed various settings such as showing 50 recent messages rather than 1000, turing on "organize messages by thread" and "ask before deleting" and trying that for a week but none of that has helped. I have a feeling this is an iOS5 issue rather than a hardware issue because my iPad 2 has started to do the same thing and it never did it before I upgraded to iOS5. Nor did my old iPhone 3GS that I had for two years. I am losing important emails and I'm getting to the stage of thinking about never opening the Mail app on either device for fear of losing any more important emails. I'm considering resorting to logging into Yahoo! and iCloud webmail via Safari instead which is a bit of a pain. Very sorry for the long message but thought i'd best be as thorough as possible. If any of you guys have had similar issues, or if you have any suggestions please feel free to chime in. Many thanks.

Thanks to everyone for their replies - I thought that it was just me with this issue but clearly not. Also thank you to Mil_Prep and S2Linda's suggestions, unfortunately all three of my email accounts do not have a "Mail Days To Sync" option - I believe that this option only appears in Mail settings if the account is an exchange email account. Even if I was able to adjust the time period of emails to sync, I don't think that it would help because the email(s) that are going missing can be as recent as one day old, leaving all my earlier emails in the same folder intact - some of which can go back to the year 2002 for instance. I am still convinced that it is a bug with headers in iOS5. Last week I even had a related problem where I had a new email merge with an old email. The senders email address, subject title and date remained the same but the body of the text was replaced with an old email from 2006! Very odd....

CCM related - error while deleting item from supplier catalog

Hi experts,
I am using CCM 1.0 SP5 and the format of file uploading is in .xls. I am trying to delete one item with deletion indicator 'X' in excel file. Item is present in Supplier catalog. Still while going to delete the item, in the display log it is showing error as:
"Catalog item VZ312-5MD4E80865694B29B66E2C7CEA4A4D4E4E not found" and "Error when deleting catalog item VZ312-5MD4E80865694B29B66E2C7CEA4A4D4E4E". Though i checked the item is present in the supplier catalog. replaced the item in excel with the existing in CCM, still the same error is coming.
Please give your suggestions. I am not getting any solution.

Messages in Inbox gone/disappeared/deleted?

Opened up Mail today and all the messages in my inbox before yesterday are gone. They are not in the deleted messages. They are not in an On My Mac folder. They have just disappeared.
This is actually the second machine this has happened to me on. This happened on my work machine which is also running 10.6.2.

This is not a reply to the current topic, but a similar problem. Whenever I edit an email in my In box (or, as has just happened, the Sent Box), the message just disappears into nowhere. This is a long standing problem (at least 2 to 3 years)* which I have never seen raised before. What's the official line on this?

Keywords - assigning and deleting is extremely buggy

i tried to use keywords in iPhoto and found it useless. Why?
There are many situations when you loose keywords or get keywords assigned you never did yourself. It specially happens when you try to delete one keyword frome some selected photos. Let's say you have an intelligent album open. You select some photos from which you want to delete one keyword. You select the keyword in question in the info panel and press BACKSPACE. Now all photos are gone from this album. If you look which keyword are left in the photos you will find, that _ALL_ the photos lost this keyword, even those which were not selected. And very often now they _ALL_ have another new keyword which you never assigned. This error I can produce on every computer and with any, also a new catalogue.
I also found, that if you assign a new keyword to some selected photos in a collection _ALL_ the photos of the collection have this keyword assigned, even those which definitely were not selected.
I also observed, that you need to delete a keyword at least two times from a single photo to delete it really from the photo.
And last but not least: I you open a collection/album and select all photos you will not be able to assign a keyword to thos pics. You first have to select one photo and then all photos to be able to do so.
I really wonder if anyone ever used keywords for more than trying and playing around...
As far as I can remember, these problem did not arise in former versions together with the plugin Keyword Manager from Bullstorm. Right?

Try adding and removing keywords from photos with the Keyword pane which is brought up with the Command+K keystroke combinatiion.
Select a photo and all assigned keywords will be dislayed in blue. Click on those blue keywords you want to remove from a photo. Move to the next photo and repeat. You can also select multiple photos to batch add or remove keywords.

[CS3] Observing assigned story deletion

I'm attempting to monitor the deletion of assigned stories but am having trouble finding out which protocol and/or boss to monitor.
I've created an observer on kDocBoss and from the spy & command logger in the debug build, it looks like I should be able to watch for kDeleteAssignedStoryCmdBoss in my Update() method. However, the observer isn't catching this change. I've had it attach on any protocol that I think might apply (e.g., IID_STORYLIST, IID_IHIERARCHY_DOCUMENT, IID_IASSIGNMENTMGR,...) but I haven't seen kDeleteAssigned[Story|Frame]CmdBoss on any of them.
Does anyone know the right boss, protocol, and change to monitor for deleted assigned stories? More generally, is there a way to find more information about which bosses & protocols to observe for any given command?

In earlier versions (until CS2) there used to be a wildcard protocol, but unfortunately that has gone the way of optimizations, probably too many uses in production code slowing down the application.

Approval Request assigned to DELETED User

Hi All,
I have created an approval process with type "User" and "APPROVER" as user and then I have deleted this user in OIM. But still the approval request is getting assigned to this user "APPROVER".
Is there way to assign this request to "SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR" or user's manager or display a kind of error message in the "Approval Details" page.?

Don knwo why it is going to Deleted User. It shouldn't go. If it is going then you can raise SR with Oracle.
For your question, with custom Task Assignment Adapter you can assign it to System Administrator. If your Resource Object has some then you can make one more field with some Default Message.
If Approver is deleted then you can update the form field with any message you want.

Problem with CCM view assignement

Hi all,
I have the next scenario, SRM an CCM working properly, I publish the master catalog, and I can make a shopping cart taking products from it, I create tree view's and assign one to the role of the user that make the SC, but there's no restriction in the products of the view, in other words, the user can take any product from the catalog no matter what view I assign him.

Disappearing Delete button

There is a bug that existed in 1.1.4 that is still there in 2.0. It is intermittent, but it happens frequently enough that I was able to capture it on video. The bug is simply this: When you swipe an email message to make the Delete button appear, in just a couple of seconds it disappears on its own. This is particularly frustrating if you get some spam and you intend to delete it. By the time you reach up to hit the Delete button, it is gone and you end up opening and reading the message. If the message contains an invisible gif ("web beacon"), then the spammer has you tagged.

have you tried the following ?
open system preferences
open network pane
select airport in the left list
click the advanced button
go to the TCP/IP tab
set the configure IPv6 field to OFF.
click OK
click apply
if that doesn't help, you may be suffering from wireless interference.
download iStumbler and note the channels other networks in the vicinity are broadcasting on, then change the channel your network is using as far away as possible from those.

CCM 2.0 Item Deletion and Old Shopping Carts

Hi everyone!
We delete an item of the catalogue and then we publish it again. If then we go to SRM Shopping Tool and buy using and OLD SHOPPING CART that contain the item. We can buy the item without problems (alhough it's not existing anymore).
We have the same kind of problem when we change the price of the item, and we buy it using and old Shopping Card. We buy it with the old price.
Any suggestion about how can we solve this problem?

Hi Patricia,
when you define the catalogue in the Web-Services in config there is an option Validate Product Data from SAP Enterprise Buyer. This option will check the catalogue data when copying from an old shopping cart and update where necessary.
The config path is
Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Master Data > Define External Web Services
Double click on your catalogue name and you fill see the various options.

All emails & texts disappear / deleter

For the second time in a month my Classic deleted all emails & texts pre-dating 6pm today. All that has survived are a couple of random What'sApp messages.
A month ago the same happened for 5 weeks' worth of emails & texts.
All relevant emails are on my laptop, so not a server problem.
Any idea what is going on here?

On the chance that it is some glitch in the Hub and the data is really still there, you should try resetting the Hub. You don't mention trying, so here is how to do it.
Swipe diagonally down from top right to the left, and repeat four or five times. It takes practice to not drag down the quick settings or swipe away from the Hub. When you get it the Hub will go blank and then show a message that it is resetting.
Hopefully that is the fix. I don't have any further ideas.
