CCMSPING rz20 availability shows 100% - turns grey - satellite system down

Hello All
I have an issue in CCMSPING RZ20 availability reporting.
Even if the satellite system is down completely (3 app server + 1 CIDB), its availability reporting in RZ20 for CI instance shows 100% - turns grey after soem time still showing 100% - Value is obsolete after some time still showing 100% in grey.
My solution manager is on EHP1 SP04 (SPS20) recently upgraded from EHP1 SP02 (SPS18). Prior to upgrade it was working fine all the availability reporting used to show 0% when system is down. however after upgrade this weired behaviour started.
As it now showing 100% always no matter system is down completely, we are not able to trigger alerts in this case.
If anybody faced the same issue and found the solution to it, kindly assist.
Thanks
Shoeb

  • Problem Macbook Retina (13"): Battery shows 100%

I have a Macbook Pro Retina 13" (10.8.5), I've bought it about a year ago. Yesterday I was using my Macbook (Word, Safari), without a charger, and everything was pretty normal. When I started my Macbook this morning, I noticed something strange.
The battery sign shows 100% all the time (right corner, between Bluetooth sign and Airport sign), because I worked yesterday evening with it, it was supposed to be 67% or so. While the sign shows 100%, my hours are lowing down. Also the battery won't charge: The charger's colour is yellow instead of amber en it says "The battery is fully recharged.".
In "About My Mac" it says my battery isn't fully loaded, if I use the charger it says it's loading the battery. The only problem seems to be that the battery shows 100%, it blocks the computer to charge my battery or to see the correct 'life hours' of my battery.
I updated, restarted,  shut down, ... But nothing helped. I also did a little search on the internet, but I didn't find a decent solution (I tried different things).
I don't know what the problem could be, less than 12 hours ago everything was working fine.
    Can anyone help?
Hopefully the problem is clear, I speak Dutch so I had to translate the problem. I don't know if all the words are correct.

  • Satellite C670D-10W - Task manager shows 100% CPU usage

My brand new laptop with factory installed windows 7 and all programs by Toshiba nothing addded shows 100% processor usage in task Manager and works pretty slow. The sum of 80 odd processes shown in task manager never reaches more than 30-50 % but bottom line is always 100%.
Tried process hacker 2, shows same processes as task manager.
    What can be the problem?

If you check this forum you will see that you can find many threads with the same or similar content. Many people have noticed the same after notebook purchase, especially phenomena that notebook is pretty slow. Just without panic. What you must do is to optimize preinstalled operating system.
    What can be the problem?
Brand new notebook is preinstalled with original Toshiba recovery image. This recovery image contains operating system, all necessary drivers, different Toshiba specific tools and utilities and some additional software like preinstalled McAffe or Norton antivir.
Many of these tools, utilities and additional software will start with operating system and run in the background. To be honest some of them can be deactivated, some of them can be also removed from the system. By default Windows update is set to automatic so when you go online all available windows updates will be installed automatically in the background and this will happen without your knowledge. This updates installation will make your HDD pretty busy and notebook operations will be slowed down.
I recommend you to change this option and set it to Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install.....
I hope you understand what I want to say and if you have more questions you are welcome.

  • Airport icon turned grey, no networks shown

    G4 Quicksilver running 10.4.11
Last night after several years trouble free operation Airport on my wife's G4 suddenly started cutting out and then coming back in. Sometimes it was off for a few seconds, sometimes for a few minutes. Restarting didn't cure the problem.
This morning it was steady for several hours, then started cutting out/in, now it seems to be mainly out.
What happens is this. The black airport icon turns to grey with all bars still showing and connection is lost. When this happens available networks were initially sometimes shown in the drop down menu, sometimes not (usually there are four or five neighbouring networks shown).
When networks are shown clicking on ours sometimes, but not always, brought it back on.
When no networks are shown going via ‘Other’ and entering our details initially brought it back but no longer.
At present the Airport icon is showing grey with four bars all the time.
I have tried reseating the Airport card and checking the aerial connection but these seem OK. (I’m assuming that the existence of four bars at all times shows that a signal is being received so card problems are unlikely; is that right?)
    I have deleted com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
I have zapped PRAM and repaired permissions.
I booted from an external HD (10.4.2) and the same problems appeared. The fact that the same problem exists with another boot disk suggests to me that the problem lies in the G4 rather than software.
    Any ideas, please?
(I started a similar thread in the G4 forum which has had no takers so far and as Tiger forums seems to get more Airport traffic I thought I would try here.)
    Michael

    +”Get Temperature Monitor - 4.51 to see if it's heat related”+
I’ve used Temperature Monitor in the past and it only shows drives, not CPUs on our G4s. (Reading round this seems to be a problem with the current version and I can’t find any earlier ones.) However I reinstalled TM and it showed drive temperatures going up and then staying very steady at around 35° for the boot drive (newer) and a bit lower for the original HD. I haven’t actually observed the CPU fan running but air is definitely moving through its vent. The CPU/fan area is clear of dust.
However I’m beginning to go off my temperature theory as the pattern of the problem has changed.
It originally started to show itself when the Mac had been in use for some hours and would then mean that Airport would not show any network virtually continuously until shutdown. Now at boot it may be OK for several hours, a few minutes or not at all. During the day it will sometimes come back for some hours or just minutes.
In all cases the symptoms are the same. The Airport icon turns grey but retains four bars. No networks are shown in the dropdown menu. Turning Airport off/on has no effect. Sometimes it will return on its own, sometimes networks are shown in the menu and connection is then usually possible.
I have now tried booting it from the backup HD I use for my G4 (10.4.11) and the problem as described was present from the outset. To be strictly accurate I booted it from its own startup disk and Airport was OK but when I restarted using the other drive via Startup Prefs Airport showed five grey bars but no networks.
I have also rebooted the router in case that was involved.
With my limited understanding of what makes Macs tick all this suggests that the problem must be within the G4 either in data (but PRAM has been zapped) or hardware rather than being a system issue.

  • HT1529 why my MacBook Air screen turns grey & hang

why my McaBook Air screen turns grey &hang

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time after  you had the problem. Select the messages logged before the boot, while the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post any other kind of report — it will be very long and not helpful.

  • After charging to 100% upon unplugging iphone 4S doesn't show 100%

Everytime when i charge my iPhone overnight, the iPhone will end up showing 100% but when upon unplugging the phone, the indicator immediatly shows 97% or lower in some cases, i wonder why and has anyone encountered this problem? I have been 'bump charging' my iPhone just to get it to 100%
Is this a problem that i need to take it up with the Apple Geniuses and get a new phone?

Same issue...ios7 upgrade...battery wouldn't hold charge...now it is dead...phone will not turn on or reset...
When plugged into a Mac for 2 hours, with the original USB cord, screen is blank...when pressing the sleep button, I get a picture of a battery with a tiny sliver of red...but not able to turn on.

  • AED is showing 100% in PO Invoice tab

    Hello,
While Procurement of material, we are using the conditions of Excise duty setoff, In that we are Using the 4% AED also.
i have checked all the setting of AEd in Excise registration, and Excise defaults.
when i saw the Taxes in PO(Invoice tab) then  iam getting the JM01 100% and JAo1 100%.... But the JM01 and JA01 are calculated is correct , why it is showing 100% here.
In FTXP we are maintained the JMo1 and JA01 as 100 like this.
    Regards
    mahesh naik

    Hello
They are Excise duty setoff percentage.
That is u can avail complete cenvat credit for them.
I will explain setting off in detail.
BED 14% and BED setoff % 100 means you are paying tax @ 14% and you are eligible for 100% CENVAT credit for that.
    Ill give an example:
You purchase a material for material price Rs.1000 @ 14%
ie you are paying Rs.140 as excise.
the total value of the purchase = 1140
    u have a total sale of 1500 also @ 14%
so total sale amount (excluding sales tax) = 1500*114%=1710
    Cenvat payable=Rs.210
Since BED Steoff % is 100, at the time of setting off the output and input cenvat, u can avail the credit for total rs. 140
ie u have to pay only 210-140 to the authorities.
if BED Steoff % was 50% u had to pay 210-(140*.05).
    Hope it is clear now.

  • IPhone 5 only shows 100 photos in Photo Stream...

iPhone 5, iPad mini, MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion.
I just got my iPhone 5 upgrading from iPhone 4, which didn't have Photo Stream activated. My iPad mini is showing 684 photos in my Photo Stream, but my iPhone 5 only shows 100. Any ideas?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device, it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

  • Help! My mac turns grey and i cannot sign in. It said "your start up disc is full".

My child incidently put her itumes to my macbook air. It seems it the macbook is very full. When we turn it on, it stated " your start up disc is full". We cannot delete files / programs to make more spaces because i cannot even sign in. The monitor turns grey and freeze after I click "sign in". Help me, please.... Thank you very much for your kind attention and help.

    Step 1
The first step in dealing with a startup failure is to secure the data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since the last backup, you can skip this step.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to start. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
         a. Start up from the Recovery partition, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.” The article refers to starting up from a DVD, but the procedure in Recovery mode is the same. You don't need a DVD if you're running OS X 10.7 or later.
    b. If Step 1a fails because of disk errors, and no other Mac is available, then you may be able to salvage some of your files by copying them in the Finder. If you already have an external drive with OS X installed, start up from it. Otherwise, if you have Internet access, follow the instructions on this page to prepare the external drive and install OS X on it. You'll use the Recovery installer, rather than downloading it from the App Store.
    c. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, start the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
    d. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
    Step 2
You might be able to start up in safe mode even though you can't start up normally. Otherwise, start up from an external drive, or else use the technique in Step 1b, 1c, or 1d to mount the internal drive and delete some files. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation.

Do you have wifi syncing turned on? Is your itunes always open?
There is a glitch with the iPad where, as long and anytime iTunes is open, it'll sync...like once an hour or some such rate.
Originally the wifi syncing was only supposed to take place if the device is plugged into power, but that's not the case. If I have my iTunes open my iPad will try to sync almost continuously.
So check your wifi sync and iTunes settings (my iTunes used to be set to open automatically when the device is connected, I had to change it to only open when I do it manually because in the course of an evening's surfing my iPad opened my iTunes and started to sync three different times until I turned it off)
If you have iCloud syncing enabled that may also be contributing to your battery issues. I don't sync over iCloud, I tried it but after it ate all my contacts, I stopped using it. However, if the same glitch is present, the device trying to continually sync even when not plugged into power, that could also be part of your drain.

  • Mail Folder turned grey and emails have disappeared!

I’ve got a problem with a folder in mail 2.1.3 whereby the folder (which contained a number of subfolders, each in turn containing a fair few emails) has turned grey and the emails seem to have disappeared.
All I did was to try and rename the main folder, but got a message saying the folder could not be renamed, and instead a new folder was created. This was when the original folder turned grey?? The dub folder structure remained intact but all the messages from all the folders have disappeared.
I’ve looked at what should be the folder contents in user/username/library/mail/mailboxes/THEFOLDER and can see that the subfolders and the messages are there but they simply dont show up in mail.
Can anyone tell me how to reinstate the messages in the folders, and maybe why this has happened?
    Thanks in advance.
    Phil

Perhaps we just lost the custom icon for that folder, you can navigate to it in the Finder, do a Get info on it and change the icon if you wish.
What is the best way to see if there is a potential problem with the disk?
We secretly did one wth the Safe Boot already, 1st thing it does is check & try to repair the disk.
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
    5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
I consider DiskWarrior from Alsoft the best tool for disks, get the CD/DVD...
