CCUX0000 Additional Check on Configurations: Reading configuration data

Hi,
I have a problem with enhancement CCUX0000 Additional Check on Configurations and function module EXIT_SAPLCUKO_001. I have been struggling with it now a couple of days, and I just don't understand why this enhancement behaves like that.
This enhancement allows you to define your own program for checking a configuration after it has been maintained. The configuration can be checked. If the configuration is inconsistent or incomplete, the exception message INCONSISTENT_CONFIGURATION is triggered. As a result, a popup message "Do You Want to Exit the Incomplete or Inconsistent Configuration?" is displayed.
For some reason, this enhancement is triggered twice.
In the enhancement, I use function module VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION_IBASE to read the configuration. In the first time, function returns only the original chracteristic, i.e. without the ones entered by the user. In the second time it returns all, i.e. both the original ones and also the characteristic entered by the user.
I have been trying to use other function modules to read the configuration. I have also tried to read the configuration only on the second round, but I cannot use this since in the second run the ecxeption message INCONSISTENT_CONFIGURATION is not working at all. Furthermore, I have been trying to use other user exits.
How can I read the configuration? Is this a bug in SAP standard?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jarmo

HI Jarmo,
Use the following function module
CUXI_GET_SINGLE_CONFIGURATION or CUXI_GET_MULTI_CONFIGURATION
depending on your setup
Example.

    Hello Friends,
    after installation of AEX, i'm facing some problems.
    1.I'm not able to login with any user, i created during installation wizard. So i cannot check any user in NWA -> User Administration.

    Can somebody help me?
    I think, there is a problem with the users, which have been created during installation. How can i check this? Is there any chance?
    Second, if i'm able to login, i have to import the exchange profile again. This should solve the problem. Or is this wrong?

    and i find many people have met the same thing. But they are spartan  series FPGA and i try to low the Resistances of Mode pins,M0 M1 and M2, but the problem does not been solved.
    I have read the status Registers and find there is an over-temperature state
    and in Impact i could not readback the registers. It is strange.
    I am anxious about this problem and have not solved it yet
    What reasons may it be?
    Hope for your answer, thank you

    Hi~I want to know if you solve the configuration problem for virtex-6?
    As I encounter the  same configuration problem, I want to consult  you with some question.
    Can I have your email?
    gszakacs wrote:
    I have measured the VCCINT and find it is 1.0V, not 2.997V;
    That is not at all surprising.  I always assumed the problem is with reading the XADC (system monitor) block and not with the voltage or temperature.
    my Reference board is ML605
    That would have been nice to know at the beginning...
    It seems that you have selected the correct mode, assuming your jumpers are set as required in the ML605 Hardware User's Guide.  See table 1-27, table 1-33 and the note below it about switch S1.
    I'm not that familiar with the details of this reference design, but it may be that the slave SelectMap circuitry requires a reset or power cycle to actually configure the FPGA.  Have you tried power-cycling to see if the FPGA boots from the flash?
    I'd also suggest that you select the V6 in the JTAG chain view, then go to the debug menu of Impact and select Read Device Status (this is from memory, but it's something like that).  That will not only show the bits of the configuration status register, but also describe what each bit means.  Among other things you can check the state of the FPGA's configuration logic and the Mode pins.

  • Satellite A300D-135 - BIOS - System Configuration Data Read Error

    After Booting a Satellite A300D-135 laptop the following error message appears:
    <Several BIOS messages >

    System Configuration Data Read Error
    Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to Setup
    After pressing F1 the machine boots Windows just fine, but the error message is quite irritating while it comes with a loud BEEP
    I've tried the following things so far (in this particular order):
    - Loaded BIOS defaults
    - Flashed the BIOS with latest BIOS (2.80) for this model type
    - Reinstalled windows with HDD format
    All of these haven't worked.
    I've seen the same message appearing on several places on the internet (on different laptops with a Phoenix BIOS in common), but until now I haven't been able to find a working solution.
    It might me a hardware issue, but all devices (vga, soiund, lan, wifi, usb, hdd) seem to work just fine in Windows, so this doesn't seem the issue). Another solution that is mentioned in some forums is replacing the cell battery. But because the laptop keeps time properly I don't think this is the case either.
    Any ideas ?
    Regards,
    GJ

    Hi buddy,
    It seems that the power on self test has detected a hardware error... :(
    I think such a problem like this you cant solve with loading the default settings in BIOS or with an update because its hardware based error.
    In your case I would contact an authorized service provider. The guys can check your notebook because they have special diagnostic tools for Toshiba notebooks and access to all Toshiba databases I think.
    You can find a list of them here:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Find an authorized service provider
    Usually they work really fast and you will have a short repair time I think. In my case it did take only one week until I got my notebook back. :)

  • Custom ATP Check using Variant Configuration Data in sales order

    I have a requirement to modify the standard SAP ATP check by including the variant configuration data entered on a item.  Standard SAP does not use/include the characteristics data when doing the ATP. None of the available user exits would allow me to do this.
    The scenario is the client has a configurable product that exist in inventory as one item, base unit as IN2.  The batches that exist in inventory have the characteristics of width and length.  The order data specifies a width and a length, they need the ATP to identify the availability based on the characteristics of the batch.
    The solution was to present the user with a list of batches based on the characteristics that meet the criteria.  The user would then have the option of choosing one of the batches which would mean that the line item would include the batch #.  If the user does not want any of the batches, they could choose to select a Make to Order option, which would change the item category of the item, so that it creates a production order upon saving the order.
    The problem I am having implementing this solution is I have not been able to identify the internal table(s) that contains the characteristics data in SAPMV45A after the configuration screen is called.  If anyone knows where that information is during the sales order processing, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Jean,
    Have you managed to find a solution as yet? I know you have not received any replies but am hoping you were able to resolve the problem as we are facing the exact issue on our project.
    Please let me know,
    Thanks,

  • T60 - Error while attempting to read the boot configuration data

    Hello,
    My wife just got an IBM-certified "pre-owned" T60 (type 2007 66U) running XP a few days ago. I updated all the drivers & patches and handed it over to her in good working order.
    This morning when she turned it on, she encountered a message from the Windows Boot Manager:
    Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
     1) Insert your Windows installation disc
     2) Language settings
     3) Repair your computer
    If you do not have this disc....
    File: \Boot\BCD
    Status: 0xc000000f
    Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data
    It almost goes without saying that we do not having our Windows installation disc as it was pre-installed by Lenovo. I've tried using F11 (after enabling it per other threads on this site) to access the recovery partition but it only takes me directly to the Windows Boot Manager error screen.
    How do I go about repairing this BCD/Windows installation so we can continue our life?
    Thanks...

    You said that the computer is running Windows XP, but unless i'm wrong BCD (Boot Configuration Data) is a new feature starting with Windows Vista and also used by Windows 7. Windows XP use NTLDR (NT Loader) so if BCD is corrupted it sounds to me like someone tried to install Vista og Win7 on the computer or there might have been some leftovers from the previous owner. I don't think you have any other option but to use a Windows CD/DVD to fix this problem since you won't be able to boot from this computer. There might be some 3part utilities available that should be able to fix this, but i wouldn't know what that might be. My recommendation would be to get a Windows CD/DVD.

    ABOUT XI :
    If it’s just that you wanted to know more about sap xi....then the information below should definitely help you.
    The best way to learn XI would be to make the maximum use of XI from its forums, weblogs, presentations, etc in SDN.
    First I thought I will just give u the basic steps involved in doing any scenario in XI. This is very essential for a beginner.
    First of all you would need to define your product, software component, business system and configure the technical landscape in the sld.
    You then go on to create the objects in the repository, you import your software component here and then begin your design steps. To import your RFCs n Idocs if you require any before proceeding.
    Then under the name space which you want, you go on to define your data types, message types and message interfaces.
    Then you do your message mappings where you specify your source and target message types and the relation between them, then you do your interface mapping. If you are using a BPM, you do the integration process.
    Once you have this done, you will have to move to the directory, here is where you define how you use the objects and how you configure them to work as a scenario.
    You assign your business system to the configuration scenario which you have created, and create the communication channels. Then you go on to configure the receiver determination, interface determination, and the sender and receiver agreements. Once you’re done you will have make sure you activate your objects. The exact parameters steps depend on what kind of scenario you are implementing.
    You can use sxmb moni or the runtime workbench to monitor the entire scenario which you have done.
    Also I would suggest this link on SAP help for any info that you want on XI,

  • ORA-06550/PLS-00201 error while configuring data source

    Hi,
    My development platform is Visual Studio 2005, ODAC11g Release 1 (11.1.0.6.20), and Oracle 10g Release 2 database.
    I tried to setup a sqlDatasource in my web page using drag and drop features
    When I configure the sqlDatasource to use a stored procedure inside a package,
    I notice that odp.net uses #0# as separator (instead of .) between package name and procedure name in Configure Data Source dialog box. Then when I clcik the Test Query button, I got following error.
    There was an error executing the query. Please check the syntax of the command and if present, the types and values of the parameters and ensure they are correct.

    On the sqlDataSource property sheet, if I click the Select Query property, the Command and Parameter Editor will open, then I can change the select command name to PK_LOOKUP_TABLE.P_LIST. Then if I run the application, I get another error.
    Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
    Exception Details: Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'P_LIST'
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    Seems that it can locate the procedure.
    In the Command and Parameter Editor dialog, I can add output parameter, but data type is restricted. There is no REF CURSOR datatype in the dropdown list.
    How can I add output parameter with REF CURSOR type via IDE ?
    Thanks for the time looking into this issue.

  • How to store configuration data from clusters to TDMS files

    It is a common use case to write measured data to a TDMS file, while
    the configuration information for your test is stored in a cluster (and
    that cluster might contain additional clusters, arrays etc). TDMS does not have
    native support for clusters and some other data types.
    This LAVA discussion thread
    contains a VI library that breaks clusters of arbitrary complexity down
    to their basic elements and writes their contents to TDMS properties
    either at file, group or channel level. It also contains code that
    reads your data back from TDMS and recreates the original cluster type.
    Please review the whole thread in order to understand what to expect and to make sure you have the latest version.

    On the Flash side I have pulled s# and Hold up to 3.3V with 100k Resistors.
    Can someone help me to find the problem?

    So does the FPGA try to read the SPI flash when it boots ?
    out with scope, probe the clock and the data , see if you can see it streamig out when you boot.
    If so, then one other thing I see wrong a few times is data path of the SPI, single bit or 4 bits of data.
        you have to make certain the bit file was created in the same width as the fgpa is expecting,
          In ISE I think its in Impact where you make the SPI flash file and specify this .

  • Sales order configuration data to the IDoc

    Hi Experts,
    I need to make sure that always in the outbound IDoc (ORDERS05) the segment E1CUVAL contains VALUE_TXT element for every VALUE element.
    can you please tell where can I find the code that is in which user exit, to change it for checking E1CUVAL segment.
    the configuration values are coming from the Sales order.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Advait,
    I think you can populate configuration data for inbound IDoc ORDERS05.
    In user exits of IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS, you can search table VBAP for given material (will be posted) and find <b>VBAP-CUOBJ</b> (not initial). Then call function module VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION to find all available  configuration/characteristics data for above matarial.
    From here, you can populate segment E1CUREF, E1CUCFG and C1CUVAL.
    data: i_configuration like conf_out occurs 0 with header line.
    data: l_instance like inob-cuobj.
    clear: i_configuration.
    refresh: i_configuration.
    select single *
    from vbap
    if sy-subrc = 0.
      l_instance = vbap-cuobj.
    endif.
    call function 'VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION'
      exporting
        instance            = l_instance
      tables
        configuration       = i_configuration
      exceptions
        instance_not_found  = 1
        internal_error      = 2
        no_class_allocation = 3
        instance_not_valid  = 4
        others              = 5.
    loop at i_configuration.
    endloop.
    Hope this will give you an idea.

  • Enums - a good way to hold configuration data

    Im struggling with a good way to encapsulate configuration data.
    In a configuration class I have this:
    public enum TagResultsSize {
             ALL (false),
             SUBSET (true);
             TagResultsSize(Boolean limited) {
                this.limited = limited;
             private Boolean limited;
              public Boolean isLimited() {return limited;}
              private Integer maxTags = 10; // default max values - set by configuration if declared
              public Integer getMaxTags() {
                   return maxTags;
              public void setMaxTags(Integer maxTags) {
                   this.maxTags = maxTags;
        }When the application starts up I read some configuration XML and set the value of maxTags.
    Then anywhere in my code I can request ALL, or a SUBSET of tags to get from the db.
    I do a check if the enum value isLimited and if so get the maxTags value to set in my DAO.
    The idea behind the enum I thought is that I can couple the CONSTANTS with the changing parameters from the configuration.
    Can anyone suggest a better way of managing configuration data such as this?
    Thanks
    Jon

    Not really sure what it is you are trying to do. Why wouldn't these equivalent method signatures work just as well:
    public Collection<Foo> getConfiguration(final int maxTags);
    public Collection<Foo> getConfiguration();- Saish
