Cd cover printing

All of a sudden my cd covers that I'm printing are listing the song from bottom to top, even though before printing they show them in the correct order. Anyone know what I do to correct this?

Perhaps the shortest answer to my own question on record.
The problem was that I had selected the finished CD in the drive, instead of the playlist within iTunes.
Crisis averted.

Do you mean that the DVD cover print is too small or that only part of the image is printed?

  • CD Jewel case cover printing error

When I print the jewel case cover the song list only prints out a very compressed list on the left side but is fine on the right side album cover. This has only just started happening after nusing I-Tunes for years without any problems at all. I have the latest version as of today. What can be causing this?

I finally solved this problem after toiling with it for a couple of days.  Solution:  Once you have burned your CD you must go back into iTunes to your music/palylists and select the playlist you just burned and click file; print and you will get the mosaics that we have been accustomed to.  I was on hold with Apple Support when I found this myself.  Yes......!!! Problem solved..for me anyway.  Good luck!

  • DVD  & cover printing

Can I get some suggestions on software you all are using to print on your inkjet printable DVD's. And, how do you create covers for your DVD holders? (type of paper, cut yourself, Kinko's, etc???)I use the Epson Print CD program that came with my printer but wondered if there is something better. Sometimes I use photoshop files from Encore and import them into Epson PrintCD. Thanks!

All here is prepared using Photoshop - there are some excellent templates at Bob Katz' site www.digido.com
(If they are not there for whatever reason, feel free to drop me an email for a set).
Inserts, Jewel Case booklets etc are all done direct from Photoshop.
Disc labels are prepared in Photoshop, but printed with the Canon utility (We have an i905).
For Epson users, their utility will be just as effective.
Don't design in these though, use Photoshop as it's much better.

  • Booklet / Duplex printing with cover

Using MS Word 2010 and have successfully used bookfold to print in landscape, 2 pages per sheet and in duplex mode. 36 pages printed on 9 sheets ( 4 x 9 =36)
Word prints from inside, ie center pages and finishes with the cover. after re inserting the copies for duplex, the printing is finished leaving a booklet ready to fold and staple.  No rearranging pages, hassle free and all in order.
This printer has only one tray. Till now I have counted out my 8 sheets and then slipping in the cover page at the bottom, making it the 9th sheet.  I want to avoid this strategy of counting out the sheets.
In printer properties--> paper/quality, there is a special pages option.  The options are covers and print pages on different paper.  I am trying to learn how to use this option.
My goal is to manually feed the cover stock, print on the cover, and automatically print the other sheets. By manually feeding the cover, the program has to count out the 8 sheets of regular paper..  Recognizing that page setup may require different selections to accomplish the printing.  What would the selections now have to be?
So to start the printing, manually feed in the cover, print on regular paper, then flip on short edge to complete duplex printing.
    Or
print the first x number of sheets, manually request insertion of the cover as the last sheet, and then flip for the duplex printing.
How does Word define "cover" when I think of "cover" just like the paper jacket on a book.
So the request is how to get Word to ask to load one sheet of cover stock and automatically print the remaining sheets..
Looking forward to suggestions, Thanks all

  • Creating your own theme-templates for printing?

Can I create my own theme-templates for printing?
    /BonneSwe

No, iTunes printing is quite simple and only works off it's own templates. If you want to customise templates you'd be better advised to look at on of the specialised cover printing programs that are available. DiskLabel is one that springs to mind.

  • "Cups" problem with HP printer

My HP LaserJet P1102w printer is not printing PDFs.   I have consulted with HP.   After several experiments, HP recommends that I ask Apple.  The HP clerk says that my “cups” is not working:
“The Cups isn't processing the PDF file, which is causing the print queue in not continuing to allow you to print from any other applications.
“If you continue to have this issue, please contact Apple, they might have to reinstall the cups printing software on the Mac. Contact Apple Support.”

Here is the latest discussion from HP.   The problem is with some of my PDFs, but not all.   As I report here, HP's owner manual prints normally.

Please download and save this PDF. Only print one page.

I just want to rule any issues with previous PDF documents that were saved on the computer.
If you have access to another printer, install that printer on the computer and try and print a PDF.
If you are still not able to print the PDF with another printer, you will have to contact Apple.

The first page (the front cover) printed just fine.
So the problem may be my individual PDFs themselves.   That is puzzling, because until a week ago, these PDFs printed satisfactorily.

Thanks for letting me know the one page printed from the manual RGilpin.
The screen shot you had provided showed that Preview had created the file.
I believe it might have something to do with the application Preview and how the files were saved or may have gotten corrupted. Not really sure. Preview comes with the operating system, reach out to the forums or contact Apple to see if they can assist you further.

  • Printing problems with iTunes 10.2.1 upgrade

After updating to iTunes 10.2.1 on Windows XP, when I try to print CD inserts of my “Playlist Folder” in “White Mosaic” format, the songs are listed correctly but the cover prints totally in a black square while before it printed with the pictures, covers or other images that I had added to each song. Any help? Thanks.

I have the same problem. The artwork comes out as a black square when printing CD inserts and as white squares when printing album lists. My default printer is Adobe Acrobat PDF printer. When I downloaded a free PDF creator (Bullzip), it worked. The glitch seems to be previously loaded printers as opposed to ones loaded after the iTunes update. Even if, as some have done, uninstalled a printer and re-installed it. This sounds like a registry problem. Even if a device, driver or software is uninstalled, the registry will maintain a thread to it in case it is ever re-installed.
To remove these threads and to test (I'm not experienceing this issue so I can't test it myself) you can try:
Uninstall the printer from the computer
    Disconnect printer (to prevent reinstall)
    Reboot computer (to finalize uninstall)

  • Cover Art Too Small

    Hi,
strange thing. I have used the cover print functionality of itunes multiple times without any problems.
But suddenly the covers are printed much too small. About half the size. The scaling in the page setup dialog is set to 100% and the page size is set to A4 and portrait. Of course I could increase the scaling in the page setup dialog, but hey ...
I don't know if I have changed some strange settings but which would that be?
Using an other printer driver and reinstalling of itunes did not solve that issue. Even in the preview the cover is wrongly scaled. All other applications eg. word, preview, texshop are printing without any problems. Other machines, like my iBook, are printing the cover correctly.
Would be happy for any hints solving this issue.
    Thanks
    michael

I too am very interested in an hints. For example, I just printed one out on US Letter 100% and the actual measuement of the jewel case insert wit cover art is 15cm X 7.5 as opposed to a standard one which is about 30cm X 12cm.

  • Printing multiple documents

    Hello FORM experts!
    I have a question here..
In my program I generate multiple documents and then want to print them all at once with one button click.
Document info is in a table which is also written into the database table.
How should this work, should I give my smartform calling function some extra parameters to print them all or should I pass all the info to the smartform and make it print them all there with a loop or sth.?
    I'll explain some more..
I have a report which then generates special kind of invoices...
when invoices are generated there's a list of them displayed...
Now I would like with one button to call out a smartform and print them.
I want 1 pop-up print screen for all the invoices.
Right now, I get a pop-up for every single invoice it is printing

  • Print scaling

Trying to make a quick mockup - I have a 6pp cover printed as spreads, scaled to fit on A3.
Adobe will not tell me what percentage it is scaling this down to when I click 'shrink to printable area', so I have no easy way of scaling 4pp inners printed as spreads on A4 to match the cover printed on A3.
Why is there no scale percentage option in Acrobat - this seems like a pretty basic function - am I missing something here?

Are you aware of the items marked with Red arrow on this:
Red arrow is pointing to the page Scaling drop down menu, the left arrow indicate the scaling in percentage  in example here the item is an index card 4by6 and it reducing the item printing by 91%.  Fit to Printable area and Shrink to Fit to Printable area  are different Fit to Printable area shrinks or expands depending upon content.
Other options Tile Large, Title all Pages, Multple pages per sheet and booklet shrink or expand percentage (scalling) accordingly.  also above the percent note the window show an representation of what the page will look like. All of this is based on your printer. The example above is based on my printer.
    Is this what you need?

  • Printing two pages per sheet of paper

    I have a newsletter that is 24 pages long. Each page is 7"h X 8 1/2"w. I print on 8 1/2 X 14 size paper.
In Microsoft Publisher the software would set the layout so that the output was properly ordered. For example the front cover and the back cover printed on the same sheet, and page 2 (inside of the front cover) printed on the same sheet as page 23 (inside of the back cover).
I can't figure out how to do this in Pages. Any thoughts? Thanks.
    Mike

    Mike,
When you make a booklet you start with a vertical (letter or legal size) page. CocoaBooklet then reduces the pages and turns them side-ways and pairs them appropriately to form a booklet. A legal (14") size page will reduce to fit the 8.5 X 5.5 booklet page size (one letter size sheet side-ways and folded).
Remember, you have to start with a page that is vertical to fit the reduced side-ways page of the booklet and you lay out one page at time, not two pages on one horizontal legal size. I can't find a standard size that will reduce (approx 60%) to fit an 8.5 x 7 in. booklet. Your best bet may be to redesign your newsletter to the smaller width. Then CocoaBooklet should give you what you want. (You have to make your original page over-sized.)
If that is not what you want to do, then I suggest taking blank legal size paper and making a dummy. Assemble the number of sheets you want the finished product to be (6 sheets for 24 pages) and number them. Then disassemble them and you can see what pages must be together on each single sheet. Layout your newsletter accordingly at actual size.
    Hope this helps.
    Walt

     Hi OrganMusic,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see that the attachments to your emails are not printing.
To better assist you, would you please provide some additional information:
What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have? Is it the C510 mentioned in the post you copied and pasted or another one? Guide to finding your product number
How is the printer connected (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?
What operating system are you using (Windows 7, Mac 10.8, or Windows 8, etc)?
Are you sending an email to the printer’s ePrint email address and the attachments are not printing? Or are you trying to print an email from your email user interface and the attachments are not printing?
What is the size of the attachments? Are they greater than 10MB?
Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what is the error message and where is it displayed (printer or computer)?
