hi all,
I am trying to copy data from excel sheet into internal table.i am using crm5.2.i cannot locate the function module for the same.
i have tried the following options but none of them has worked:
1)ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE.
2)'KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT'
3)TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP
also i tried copying the function alsm_excel_to_internal_table but the underlying ole does not support this.
the i came across the following function in crm5.2 :
/CEM/ENT_IMPORT_DATAFROMEXCEL
i have no hint how it works.

1. Ordering Address (OA): The PO will be sent this vendor and not the main vendor.
2. Goods Supplier (WL): In case of return deliveries, Goods will be returned to thsi vendor's address
3. Invoicing party (RS): The payment will be made to this vendor.

QoS for CEM traffic

I have two 3750ME switches connecting two ends of a LES100. On each switch, i have 3845 routers with the NM-CEM-4SER modules, plus direct to switch internet traffic. My complete setup is as shown in the attached PDF.
My problem is that with the default QoS settings, i have lots of drops in the Txqueue of the switches.
The CEM's send traffic as EF, which is trusted throughout the switch setup. Other traffic that comes into the switch is marked down to best effort. Thus, most of the traffic the switches handle is EF,(about 70%, 20MB for now). How do i tune the QoS parameters on the switch to handle this amount and more of EF traffic?

Regaring the QOS, I think we should implement this on the 3750 . It is worth advising you to first upgrade the IOS on this device. The following URL will help you:

As you are unable to specify the "bandwidth/priority" on 3750 cli, you will need to use the Queuing and Scheduling (SRR) section from the config guide. So basically you enable the expidite queue for the CEM traffic egreesing the 3750. However I believe you cannot classify the traffic via acl to assign it to queues, so you will need to mark it.

CEM message size limit

We are still running Cisco E-Mail Manager 5.0. Does anyone know if CEM has a limit on message/attachment size. There are messages (all with attachment larger that 1mb) in the Exchange mailbox for CEM that are not getting delivered to the CEM server. I sent a test message with attachment less than 1mb and it went through just fine. Anything larger just sits in the Exchange inbox.
If there's a limit, how can it be changed?

Wow, it's been ages since I worked on CEM.
There certainly is an attachment limit - that was one of the things they wanted to get away from with EIM. For some strange reason, the figure 2MB sticks in my mind as the upper limit.
You seem to be finding otherwise, though. I'll have a look at some old docs.

NM-CEM-4TE1 not supported

Hi,
I'm not sure its suppose to be here but...
In my netwok I'm using the nm-cem-4te1 cards (on 2800 series routers).
I'm trying to use the same card in 2921 router (with the SM-NM adapter) and its not working.
I checked the module support document and it shouldn't work.
But there is no information about what module replaced the old one...
Is there any module that replaced the NM-CEM-4TE1 ?

so after about 1 1/2 weeks of problemless operation. Today a new 3850 crapped out on us.
IOS version is 03.03.04SE
and the messages the switch is logging is:

even though the sfps are cisco 1000 SX-mm modules, I activated the
service unsupported-transceiver
and
no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
but now the sfp´s just don´t show up any more!!! What the hell? It was working without much problems. (the 4 sfp´s did at sometime give up at the same time, but reboot the switch and it worked again for about 1 week until today!)
What can I do to get the SFP´s back up again?

Upgrading from 7.5 to version 8: CEM and CCS problem with the EDMT

Hi All;
The current UCCE is 7.5 and some scripts and configuration for the CCS and CEM were already done, when I tried to upgrade for version 8 and I used the EDMT version 8 to upgrade the side_A database (logger Database), then an error message appeared which states that CCS and CEM is existed and it should be removed.
After checking, I discover that UCCE version 8 is no more supporting CCS or CEM scripts and configuration.
But, how I can resolve this problem as removing all the related configurations and all the related objects in the scripts and the scripts will be very hard and very complex ... what is the solution to overcome this problem?
I think there should be a proper method or solution from CISCO to resolve this problem.
Looking forward to hear from someone that can help me.

NM-CEM-4TE1 CEoIP module in an ISR router may not work with SPA-24CHT1-CE-ATM module in a 7600 router. Using ISR router back to back will be a better solution.

CEM - Network Module - Model Number Query

I know Cisco no longer supports Circuit Emulation, but our company is still required to support a number of Cisco 3800's running the following module:

Unfortunately, a number of these modules have failed and are no longer purchasable - we are, however, able to purchase the following module:

Does anyone know the significance of the "=" sign?

Still no luck. When attempting to test the application module using the new configuration, and after setting the jbo.server.internal_connection property, I got the following error:

Did I miss something? And if/when I do get the datasource working, will that enable the data controls on the jsp to start working?
Here's some more info that might be helpful. In an attempt to figure this out, I walked throught a basic ADF tutorial step-by-step to see what would happen. I used:

I created a "plain" JSP instead of a JSF JSP and used a read-only table based on CustomersView1 instead of a master-detail table. I did not get any errors when I ran the JSP, but the table appeared blank (no rows of data). The application module, however, tested successfully (I saw the expected data). Maybe this info suggests what might be wrong?

Error while calling a web service from BCM to CRM

Dear Experts,
I'm calling a CRM web service from BCM via Custom IVR. The web service works fine when run using SOAPUI. But when called from BCM, there is an error in the CEM logs as mentioned below:

It seems that through the IVR the web service is not even reached. I discovered this by inserting an external break point in the CRM Function Module which is called by the web service.
Can anybody help me in resolving this error? I'm working on BCM 7 SP 6.

Hi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.

ATUALIZAR ESTRUTURA DE PRODUTOS

Bom dia a todos,
Pessoal, me deparei com a seguinte situação.
Por exemplo vamos supor que tenha 100 (cem) estrutura de produtos criadas no SAP onde um determinado item está atrelada as todas essas estruturas, onde hoje estou tendo a necessidade de modificar o deposito para esse componente, percebi que se eu for no cadastro do item e definir outro deposito como padrão ao entrar nas estruturas o deposito continua o mesmo de antes.
Existe algum meio de ao modificar o deposito padrão no cadastro do item seja atualizado esse mesmo deposito em todas as estruturas onde esse item faz parte como componente, para não ter o trabalho de fazer estrutura por estrutura?
Sei que existe a função para atualizar preço de produto acabado e componente, mais para atualizar o deposito não encontrei.
Agradeço a quem possa me ajudar.

Você pode estar utilizando o DTW... importa novamente os itens no formato de alteração.... o sap permite você usar o DTW mesmo depois da estrutura montada....
caso você tenha dúvidas com a ferramenta DTW me da um toque.

Conversão de medida

Pessoal, bom dia
Estou em um projeto e me deparei com um problema no GRC quando a unidade de medida do XML é CNT (cento), criamos uma tabela "Z"de unidade de medidda (De Para), onde informo que a unidade do xml - CNT é = a CEM no SAP.
Fui no cadastro do material e inseri essa conversão onde 1 cento = 100 PC, porém na atividade de "Simular fatura NF_e" o sistema executa a conversão normalmente, quando tento gravar o resultado, o sistema informa que as unidades do XML difere da unidade do PO e dá erro não permitindo dar sequencia no processo...Aguém já passou por esse erro?

Transaction types are not getting displayed in WUI CRM7.0

After upgrading the CRM system from 4.0 to 7.0 we are not able to see the trasaction types for the activity mangment in WUI....i have also assigned the transaction types to the channel CEM Webclient UI
Suggest how to over come this ...

go to crm -> transactions -> basic settings -> define transaction types
copy default email cx03 and create new zemail.
assign that zemail to bus2000126 business activity.select the business activity and click on customizing header.assign the category email. click on channel. maintain the channels 1)GUI crm webclient UI, 2)ICW Interaction center webclient.
save the changes.
go to crm -> transactions -> basic settings -> settings for activities -> maintain categories, goals, priorities -> click on assign categories to transaction types.
assign the category email(which you have assigned above) to the transaction type zemail.
even check maintain categories as well
click on maintain categories -> check 401 email assigned to class G email.

Request in Reply Payload Problem

I am attempting to build a component which takes our common xml payload, passes it through a Mediator and then off to an external service. In the response I need to copy values from the request object and pass back to caller. In my mediation activity I have selected the "Include request in the reply payload" which added an initial.request parameter, I am able to do a mapping and even the test comes out the way I expect it but when I deploy I get an
error:
Caused by: javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: XML-22036: (Error) Cannot convert result tree fragment to NodeSet.

this shouldn't happen. if you are opening a new window and calling your jsp you obviously should get a new session. but if you are opening a new page without closing your browser your session shouldn't get killed.
post your jsp so that we can have a look. remember that navigator and ie are very different.

SAP System run slowly

Dear all,
Our DB Instance always run very slowly and update process
responding time is very long during month end.
I think this maybe due to it runs the database and application.
So I want to delete the DB Instance from Logon Group, and then users
will just access other else three Dialog Instances, is it Ok or what
impact will have ?
How to check PI system connected to SAP ECC Logon Group's IP , but not only
connected to the DB Instance ?
Users always need run many Background Jobs at the day,but I heard other
company almost only allow users run Background Jobs at the night.
Generally, how many background jobs running on one Instance is normal?
Do we have any good ways to control or limit users' background job
setting at the day ?
The dialog and update process numbers of DB Instance are respectively 80 and 6(Update & Update2) , other Dialog Instance is 50:4(Batch:Update)
How is the general ratio between dialog and update process numbers ?
what's the difference between update and update2 process ?

But don't have your company basis team check your system transactions.

Maybe long time background working process see u overview tcode SM50 and SM12 kill procees after system speed normaly.
