Centralizing AP Tags
Hello there,
I've created a layout in Photoshop CS3 and exported as HTML
and images, I've centralized the layout. However, for content,
images, etc which I have contained in an AP Tag, it's not
centralizing with the remaining content (contained within a
centralized table).
If one is to resize the browser, say to extend it
horizontally, the Photoshop layout with stay centralized but the
remaining content (in AP Tag) stays in the exact place. I've tried
changing the properties from 'absolute' to others but this doesn't
seem to make any difference.
I'd be grateful if anyone could help.
Regards,
Kristopher (UK).
> I've created a layout in Photoshop CS3 and exported as

That's a poor start. Graphics apps write notoriously brittle
and fragile
HTML.
> However, for content, images, etc which I have contained
in an AP Tag,
That's an even worse follow-on. Content within absolutely
positioned
elements can break your layout when the browser's text
display is enlarged -
see
http://www.great-web-sights.com/g_layer-overlap.asp
> it's not centralizing with the remaining content
> (contained within a centralized table).
Of course - an absolutely positioned element is, well,
absolutely
positioned.
> I've tried changing the properties from 'absolute' to
other
This kind of 'thrashing' can often leave your page in worse
shape than
before. The trick is to actually understand how positioning
works before
using it.
This may help you understand positioning a bit -
There are 4 different types of positioning:
Absolute
Relative
Fixed
Static
Here is a brief explanation of each kind of positioning (with
regard to
placement of elements on the page only)....
Position:absolute (or A/P elements)
This does several things -
1. It 'removes' the element from the flow of the code on
the page so that
it can no longer influence the size or position of any other
page element
(except for those contained within it, of course).
2. The absolutely positioned element takes its position from
the position of
its closest PARENT *positioned* element - in the
absence of any explicitly
positioned parent, this will default to the <body> tag,
which is always
positioned
at 0,0 in the browser viewport.
This means that it doesn't matter where in the HTML code the
layer's code
appears (between <body> and </body>), its
location on the screen will not
change (this assumes that you have not positioned the A/P
element within
a table or another A/P element, of course).
Furthermore, the space in
which
this element would have appeared were it not positioned
is not preserved
on the screen. In other words, absolutely positioned elements
don't take
up any space on the page. In fact, they FLOAT over the page.
Position:relative (or R/P elements)
In contrast to absolute positioning, a relatively positioned
page element is
*not* removed from the flow of the code on the page, so
it will use the
spot
where it would have appeared based on its position in
the code as its
zero point reference. If you then supply top, right,
bottom, or left
positions
to the style for this element, those values will be
used as offsets from
its
zero point.
This means that it DOES matter where in the code the
relatively positioned
element appears (, as it will be positioned in that location
(factoring in
the offsets) on the screen (this is true for any placement in
the code).
Furthermore, the space where this element would have
appeared is
preserved in the display, and can therefore affect the
placement of
succeeding elements. This means that the taller a relatively
positioned element is, the more space it forces on the page.
Position:static
As with relative position, static positions also "go with
the flow". An
element with a static position cannot have values for
offsets (top, right,
left, bottom) or if it has them, they will be ignored. Unless
explicitly
positioned, all div elements default to static positioning.
Position:fixed
A page element with this style will not scroll as the page
content scrolls.
Support for this in elements other than page backgrounds is
quirky
There are several other things you need to know:
1. ANY page element can be positioned - paragraphs, tables,
images, lists,
etc.
2. The <div> tag is a BLOCK level tag. This means that
if it is not
positioned or explicitly styled otherwise, a) it will always
begin on a new
line on the screen, and b) it will always force content to a
new line below
it, and c) it will always take up the entire width of its
container (i.e.,
width:100%).
3. The placement of A/P elements *can* affect the BEHAVIOR of
other
elements
on the page. For example, a 'layer' placed over a hyperlink
will mask that
hyperlink.
You can see a good example of the essential difference
between absolute and
relative positioning here -
http://www.great-web-sights.com/g_layersdemo.asp
You can see a good demonstration of why using layers for a
page layout tool
is dangerous here -
http://www.great-web-sights.com/g_layer-overlap.asp
Now - to make your ap elements center along with your tables,
read this -
Change this -
</head>
to this -
<style type="text/css">
<!--
body { text-align:center; }
#wrapper { text-align:left; width:760px; margin:0
auto;position:relative; }
/* 760px will display on an 800px screen maximized browser
window without */
/* horizontal scrollbars. */
-->
</style>
</head>
change this -
<body ...>
to this -
<body ...>
<div id="wrapper">
and this -
</body>
to this -
<!-- /wrapper -->
</div>
</body>
and see if that helps.
Finally, this may help, too -

Bug Found and Fix Found Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig
9Bug Found and Fix Found> Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig?Hello I was having problems getting my MP3 TAGS to show up on a number of my MP3's.
Whenever I loaded my files onto my ZEN it would show up as a Voice under Recordings.
And the file name would be "MIC and the date file created etc..."
I noticed that these files where all starting with the letters MIC at the front of the filename...
For instance: Michael_Jackson_Thriller.mp3?? or? Michael_W_Smith_Let_it_rain.mp3
and so on and so on... ANY file that started with the letters M I C? would be thrown in as a voice recorded file and the TAG would not operate.
I have the latest Firmware on my MP3 Player.
The fix was just to change the file name so it did not start with MIC... so i went and switched Michael Jackson to M.Jackson and also switched Michael W Smith to M W smith.
The tag showed up appropriately and I have had no problems since.
It would be nice if there was another Firmware update so that MP3's could start with the letters MIC also I was hoping to bring awareness to this situation for other users.=Re: Bug Found and Fix Found> Creative ZEN XFI Style 32 Gig?I did three methods of?loading the files.
I used Windows Media Player to sync the files.
I used Creative Central to transfer the files.
These two methods produced results where the file starting with MIC turned into a voice recordings.
I also had problems just copying and pasting the files (using windows explorer).
I have not had any problems with any other file. I normally use MP3Tag to tag my files.
However i even tried using Windows Media to tag the file and I even tried using Creative Central to tag the files.
I tried as many work arounds as possible. But once i renamed the file it worked. -
HREAP APs lose local VLAN mappings
Hello,
We are using a 5508 controller (version 7.0.98.0) in a central location and 1242 access points in HREAP mode in remote locations.
I have noticed that, for no specific reason, HREAP APs sometimes lose their local VLAN mappings and revert to centrally switched interface VLAN tags?? Since central VLAN tags and local VLANs are not the same, local traffic can not be routed and clients lose connection.
I have seen that a software bug has been reported CSCsw68997 (http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCsw68997) but it seems to have been fixed in software version that don't exit for 5508 WLCs.
Would you have any idea if there is a fix to this issue?
Thanks for your help, much appreciated,
LaureIt is important to note that CSCsw68997 is an enhancement, not exactly a bug.
The bottom line is that if HREAP APs move between controllers, and those controllers are not identical with WLAN Order (including the AP group WLAN order) then your mappings might change.
Now if you want the code this enhancement is added to, I believe both of those are readily available from TAC. If you need Cisco.com versions of the code, then you'll need to wait a few more weeks.... -
Like most families, each of our family members have their own camera. Rather than having catalogues on individual computers, can we share the one single catalogue from a central NAS drive etc?
Hi Hatstead,
A NAS drive is just a sharable network drive that all computers can see. The Adobe Revel suggestion is a good one. I will give it a try but not sure if it will support all the metadata tags that I have in Adobe Elements in order to view the photos/videos in different ways. It would also appear that if each family member will be uploading more photo's etc allowed for by the free licence that I will be up for the premium subscription for each of them per year. Do you know if this is the case and will it support the Elements Metadata tags?
Many Thanks

PI 7.11 Central Adapter Engine is not started
Hi Experts,
After active objects list, in the central adapter engine: ache update not yet started.
Looking for this error, is possible that is the RFC INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI because responde 403 forbidden,
Did you have any tips?
Thank you!
BrunoAre you sure supplied credentials are valid for PIISUSER?
1) HTTP response does not contain a valid XML root tag or Error 'HTTP status code 400 Bad Request' while executing HTTP request (calling method 'get_status')
The error 'HTTP response does not contain a valid XML root tag' occurs when path prefix of the destination is '/dir/hmi_cache_refresh_service/ext'.
The error 'Error 'HTTP status code 400 Bad Request' while executing HTTP request (calling method 'get_status')' when path prefix is '/dir/CacheRefresh'.
Solution: Go to transaction sm59 and open destination of type 'H' INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI. Select "Connection Test". The connection test should return HTTP response 200.
Now go to "Logon & Security" tab and ensure that username and password are stored in the system. Fixing credentials should fix the problem.
Note: Credentials cannot be tested via "Connection Test" tool. If used credentials are wrong, the server simply returns login html page (using HTTP response code 200). As the login html page is not a valid cache refresh xml document, an error is shown in sxi_cache. -

Has anybody an idea whats wrong here?
thanxThanx Jeff!
and sorry for replying so late
like with many other things, reading notes carefully can help a lot
problem was solved by setting
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1
for sapinst as described in sap note 722273 -
Farm Account cannot access some pages in Central Administration
I am working with a new installation of SharePoint 2013 farm using least-privileged administration. I used a server local admin account to setup SharePoint and to run the Farm setup wizard. During the wizard I used the domain account I had created as the
Farm account. Today I signed in to the Central Admin as the Farm Account (SYSTEM ACCOUNT) and there was a health analyzer problem to correct. "The server farm account should not be used for other services." In the announcement there is a link for
Farm Credential Management. I click the link and the page states "Sorry this site has not been shared with you." I tried to access Security, Configure Service Accounts and got same error. I am able to go to every other link as far as I can tell.
Can anyone share any advice? How can I get around this problem. Thanks for the help.@Trevor

How can I put ID3-Tag info into my MIDI songs
http://www.mp3machine.com/software/IDTunes/ says: "idTunes fixes those missing or wrong ID3 tags automatically, once and for all. Systematize, organize, remove duplicates and correct irregularites in your music collection, even add lyrics. Once and for all clean up your MP3 song collection without having to spend weeks typing and checking the info." but that's OS X and my computers can't run it
In Quicktime Player Pro when I get-properties then create annotations they only show up in QuickTime player - I need a method to embed them in the file so that in WindowsMediaSlayer the author, URL, title, length, recorded date, artists on track and such can be displayed.
Is there a version of QuicktimePlayerPro (for OS 9) that will let me export or save-as MIDI file so that WMP will 1) read the file and 2) recognize the annotations as ID3-Tags?
SOMEONE has to look out for the recognition of music creators and talented performers!
Thank you very much for this forum to ask my questions, and thank you dearly in advance for your answers.
Sincerely,
TeoTeo4...
OK, I have a big heart...
Yep! And me too, which is why I'm sharing this 1/2 solution!
"Artly There" has forums, real Applish looking! Well, in a topic there:
http://www.artlythere.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1154280348/s-0/#num3
I got this lead:
From: http://www.harmony-central.com/Software/Mac/midi.html
I got MIDI Kit 2.7.1, I think it has put these tags in correctly:
1. Full Song Name
2. Copyright
3. Author
To see if it worked: http://givnology.com/eve/forums/a/ga/ul/8341026442/WhatYouSynco.mid
This is also all in my site's discussions here: http://givnology.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/80560593/m/7641057422 well the easy way is:
http://Givnology.com/music and click the "First try MIDI" topic. I wanted to let you know that I did find at least THIS MUCH of a solution...
In the © tag I put some good relational database type cross indexables.... yay! -
ID3 tags messing tremendously up on ZEN MX
Hello,
I'm a long time creative user, and had many creative mp3 players up through the years. Never had a problem, and always been greatly satisfied.
But with my latest purchase of a Zen MX I'm a bit confused about the way it handles id3 tags of mp3s.
My main issue is that it doesn't seem to read it properly. It doesn't care about track numbers, and plays my audiobooks in a total shuffle.
Also, when I try to update the tags, the are updated correctly in all my players (foobar, wmp, winamp, vlc) but when I transfer them over to the ZEN MX, it somehow fails to update the player, and the files are still stuck with the old tags, before they were updated.
Ususally I simply transfer the files through windows explorer, but since that didn't work, I've tried to use Creative Centrale, but that's even more hopeless: not finding all the files in an album, also not registering the changes I've made, etc.
Has anyone else had similar issues, and come up with a sollution?
I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find anyone with this problem in particular.I am having the same problem.
Another long time user (prefering creative over ipods!) and never had any problems with transferring audiobooks onto my player.
Got given this MX for christmas when my last Vision M broke but can not get any audiobooks onto the player in any meaningful way
I cut a book into about 70 mp3 tracks. In my old players I could just transfer them using explorer. I would keep all the artwork, artist and files names and they would be in order.
With this MX I loose all the tag details and the MX will not recognise the "Audiobook" genre
The tracks are in some random order (and shuffle is NOT on)
Track numbers have been lost as well.
Artwork details has been lost.
Artists details have been lost.
I use my mp3 player for audiobooks and think that this beautiful player is worse than useless and I dont have the heart to tell my children who bought it for me.
I have tried to change the tags once the files are on the player but nothing works. I have used MediaJukebox, Media player, Explorer and Creative central. All to no avail.
Is there some software update that will fix this problem?
Please help.

What version of ID3 tags does the zen xfi use?
I spend more time re-starting my player, and watching the rebuilding progress bar (only for it to fail) than I do actually listening to the **bleep** thing.
I use media monkey to manage my files, and I've set it to only write id3v2. mp3tag reports these as id3v2.3. In the belief and hope that the problem with the player is corrupt tags (which I don't think ought to cause a problem if it were built properly) I've spent hours making sure they're all tidy, cross-checking with mp3tag.
This failed to stop my player crashing several times a day. I reluctantly brought creative media centrale out of retirement to check the tags. This reported that a few of the files had bad tags, although there was nothing visibly different about them in media monkey or mp3tag. When I used the automatic 'fix tags' function in centrale, mp3tag reported that it wrote id3v tags.
So, as per the subject line, does anyone know what version of id3 tags the player actually supports?i really have no problems with this one. but i still am interested with the a detailed answer to this one too.

Creative Xfi Style 32g and Centrale
#C?Hi guys,
Initially I couldn't get the centrale software to transfer to my player, it would list all my music on my computer and then just sit there like a dead fish. On the fourth uninstall/reinstall it actually transferred music, but only about a fifth of the songs.
When I checked my player today it showed around 2000 songs in its library, 000 of which centrale had put on so I'm a bit miffed as to where the others came from, but that's not my concern.
My problem is that I had music on my player, I deleted it with centrale, and centrale put it back on for me. But I go to play a song and I end up with a completely different song tagged as the old one, and in some cases the track switches between songs whilst still tagged as one song. It is also incredibly laggy and takes between 30 seconds and minute to open an artist with 30songs. Kinda regretting getting rid of my old zen to be honest.
Any ideas?Mellersh,
Launch your Creative Centrale and follow the steps below. This should stop the application from putting those songs back onto the player.
On the Program toolbar, click the Settings [img"]http://ask.creative.com/wwimages/dap/zen_xfi/settings.jpg[/img] /> button.<
In the dialog box that appears, click Portable Players.<
Clear the Transfer files automatically check box.< -
A search of the Library bookmarks should provide each bookmark's folder as well as Name, Tags, and Location.
As it is now, a search (for example) for the string 'IESI', a refuse collection company in Central Texas, actually finds IESI. But what if you cannot remember what folder you put the IESI bookmark in? Current search fails to provide folder information.See:
*Show Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/
*Go Parent Folder: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/go-parent-folder/ -
How to identify inbound location on a centralized Attendant Console?
I'm trying to find a way to be able to identify for our centralized receptionists the location of the inbound calls.
We have 16 sites set up with Cisco routers as h323 gateways each pointing all incoming calls to the main phone line to a separate AC pilot point in CCM 4.13sr3b. Is it possible to have the dialpeer put some sort of description tag that the receptionists can see on attendant console when the call comes in that says where/which site this phone call is coming in from? Or display the queue it is coming in on?
Any ideas on this would be appreciated. I'm trying to avoid going down the IPCC path to provide this functionality since Cisco won't support IPCC and attendant console running simultaneously.
Bottom line is we have a multi site CM deployment where all inbound calls going to a central group of folks running attendant console and we need to be able to discern which pilot point or voice gateway the call is coming in on.
I appreciate any thoughts on this!!
RyanOne way to do this if you don't care about the caller ID of the calling party, would be to tranform the calling number to DN of the Pilot DN by using Translation Patterns. Basically the GW's CSS would not have access to the AC Pilot, but to a TP that transforms the calling party and redirects to the AC Pilot.

Sharepoint 2013 on premises Tags & Notes button in List and Document library is disabled.
Hi,
In My Sharepoint 2013 on premises installation Tags & Notes button in List and Document library ribbon is appearing as greyed out.
I have checked that managed metadata service, User profile services are running. Also have given required permissions to the logged in user.
As I came to know that Tags & Notes feature has been retired in Sharepoint online. Is this happening because of same reason as I have downloaded the Sharepoint 2013 on premises version recently or do I need to change some settings.
Please advice.Hi Saurav,
pls check below
What version of SharePoint 2010 "SP 2010 Foundation or SP 2010 Server" you need to have SP 2010 server and to have the "User Profile service application".
How do you configure the "User Profile service application" did you add the "Social Tagging Database"

When you access to "Application Management>Manage service applications>User Profile Service Application>Manage User Permissions" validate if the all authenticated users Group have the "use Social Features" checked.
Also validate in Central Administration in Farm Features if you have social tags and notes activated.
