  • Nokia Asha certificate invalid according to phone'...

My nokia asha 301 does not connect to wi-fi all it says is ''certificate date invalid according to phone's date". Please help

Because the Nokia 301 is not a Asha, are you about a Nokia Asha 501 or Nokia 201? Or is this a Nokia 301 for sure? If the date is correct, please, go for the Nokia Software Recovery Tool on a Windows computer.

We have already added the certificate used for the SharePoint site and the provider hosted app in the SharePoint central admin trusts.
Any idea's how can I resolve this issue?

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to access provider host app using https.
The reason for this is that SharePoint implements its own certificate validation policy to override .NET certificate validation.
Fix is to setup a trust between SharePoint and the server requiring certificate validation.
For more information, you can refer to:

  • App Store says certificate invalid ?

Trying to go on App Store but it says certificate invalid ?

Make sure you set your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to the correct date and time. To verify, tap Settings > General > Date & Time. Then toggle on “Set Automatically”. Further make sure that your time zone is set up correctly.  Simple tap Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone to verify this.
If you notice that the incorrect date, time, or time zone is being set up automatically on your iPad, iPhone or iPod, tap General > Date & Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then set the correct time and time zone manually.

  • Thumbprint is invalid according to its datatype

This is the error I get with VS2010 when I try to package and deploy my cloud project.
The 'thumbprint' attribute is invalid - The value '‎5EA960D8BD7F7B038CC85AF407107355F94A1AC1' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/ServiceHosting/2008/10/ServiceConfiguration:ThumbprintType' - The Pattern constraint failed.
The thing is, the thumbprint is exactly what I get when I look at the properties of the certificate and I uploaded the certificate to our azure account and in the SL app in the Azure portal, it shows this same exact thumbprint. I even copied and pasted
the thumbprint from there and there is no difference between what the server says the thumbprint is and what I've got in the csfg file.
This is actually a replacement certificate for an existing one that is about to expire in a few days. Here is the certificates section of the csfg file.
        <Certificates>
          <Certificate name="ThawteRoot" thumbprint="1FA490D1D4957942CD23545F6E823D0000796EA2" thumbprintAlgorithm="sha1" />
          <Certificate name="ThawteIntermediate" thumbprint="73E42686657AECE354FBF685712361658F2F4357" thumbprintAlgorithm="sha1" />
          <Certificate name="VASAPI" thumbprint="‎5EA960D8BD7F7B038CC85AF407107355F94A1AC1" thumbprintAlgorithm="sha1" />
        </Certificates>
I've got 3 other web roles spread across 2 Azure subscriptions and I had to replace the SSL certificate on one of the webroles a few months ago and now I'm replacing the certificates on the other three and this is the only one giving me this kind of an issue so I know I've done eveything else correctly. Could it just be an odd glitch with the regular expression that is causing VS2010 to think this thumbprint is invalid? And if so, how do I update that schema so it will recognize this thumbprint so I can publish.

How did you insert the certificate's thumbprint into your configuration file? Any chance that you opened the details tab of the certificate's properties dialog, copied the thumbprint property to the clipboard, including the embedded spaces, pasted the result
into your configuration file and then removed the spaces?
I've found out (the hard way) that when you do this, you actually insert a non-visible character at the start of the string. If this is the case, place the cursor on the first character of the thumbprint and then press delete. If the character is present, nothing
appears to happen but you will have deleted the offending character.

  • Phone Upgrade Date Extended in Mid-Contract

OK, I know I'm searching for an answer I'll never have answered, I get it. Verizon can and will do whatever they want. There is latitude when you're the big dog. Woof on the little guys. Or customers, because there are always more of them.
We're four months away from our contract renewal date. We're smartphone users, and are adding our two kids to the account in the coming months. Once we add the kids, we're probably worth a total of $220 - $230 per month to Verizon, so we're not important at all. Again, I get it.
For the first 16 months of our current contract, like those of you who renewed at about the same time, we're were dangled a November 2013 phone upgrade date. 20 months, as has always been the Verizon customer retention strategy. As you all know, that got changed. In mid contract period.
Again, I get it. You changed it because legally you could. But, why? Don't give me the standard line I've heard a thousand times, that to bring the phone upgrade date in line with the contract renewal date makes sense. I don't care if it makes sense. It's wrong to change what you've been offering contracted long-term clients for over a year simply because you can. Go ahead and change it if/when we renew again, of make it clear to new clients as they sign up for another two years. But to change it mid-contract on customers you've had for more than 10 years, like us, is slapping us in the face. Ha ha, we did this because we could, we made a little extra money off of you, and you can't do anything about it.
Marketing retention strategy discussions, like the one that had to be held before Verizon made this call, are fascinating events. You know someone in that room was saying, "uh, guys, this may not be a wise idea"... but then again, maybe not.
I guess time will tell. In our geographic region, ATT and T-Mobile have just expanded their 4G coverage to cover what Verizon used to have all by themselves. In March we'll decide who to go with.
But then again, we're just little guys. Who up until now have been at the mercy of the big dog. Woof.
    There. I feel better now.

Nice responses, all, and thank you. I guess it's good to know you're not entirely alone, even if for something as hopefully-far-down-the-list-of-important-stuff as a cell phone contract.
OK, I work in marketing. Which is why this whole scenario is so interesting to me. I have an attorney next to me who was laughing at me for taking time to vent, even though he admits - and this is for you, Ann154 - companies do get successfully sued all the time for extending offers in writing (on the web, or in print, as does apply in this case) that go beyond the scope of the original written contract. Verizon is simply betting that no one will care enough to do so. And I guess they've been right, and soon, it will all be irrelevant. Again, the big dog woofs.
And to Jonathan at Verizon - thanks for reaffirming the most fundamental and age-old marketing rule - when you know you can't really respond, always fall back to the company boilerplate statement. It will work more times than not for most. I tell my clients the same thing all the time.
But all of this is still bugging me. Which means as a marketer I'm probably developing a conscious. Which means I better find a new career soon.

  • My iPhone got stolen - can I back up that phone's data on another iPhone from iTunes backup?

Details: My iPhone 4 was stolen and I activated Lost Mode on iCloud. A lot of time has passed and I've given up the chance of getting it back. My question is this. I'm trying to back up a new iPhone with my old phones data that I saved on iTunes backups. When I try to back up my new phone with the stolen phone's data, it says I must first disable Lost Mode before I can do this. Since the phone was stolen, I can't use the phone to disable Lost Mode and I'm if I go to iCloud and remove the device permanantly from "my devices" I'm afraid it will delete my iTunes backup for that phone and all the data I'm trying to transfer to the new phone. Does that make sense? How can I turn off "Lost Mode" without deleting my iTunes backup for my phone that was stolen so that I can back up my new iPhone with my old phone's back up file on iTunes?

Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

  • What G/L Accounts are Updated Accordingly when the Posting Date is Changed?

We are on SAP 2007 PL15, and our new fiscal year started 1 July 2008. Beginning on 1 July, whenever we change the posting date on a marketing document to a date in June, the following message appears:
Newly Entered Posting Date Relates to Another Posting Period. Do you want to update G/L accounts accordingly? [Yes]  [No]
Does anyone know what G/L accounts would be "updated accordingly" based on Posting Date? We did not get any such message last year when we were on SAP 2005.
    Thank you,

  • I'm trying to timestamp (RFC 3161) a pdf using my own timestamp server hardware but always get an error: "Certificate invalid for use" ...

I'm trying to timestamp (RFC 3161) a pdf using my own timestamp server hardware but always get an error: "Certificate invalid for use" (Original text - pt_BR:O certificado não é válido para uso). How can I get more info on what I'm missing or whats wrong with the certificate?

Which Acrobat version are you using? Do you use "Document Timestamp" command? If so, do you get this error during the signing process and the signature is not created or signature is created and you get this error when it is validated? If the latter you can open signature properties, click on the "Advanced Properties" and in the next dialog on timestamp's "Show Certificate". If you get this error during the signing process do you get an alert that shows some cryptic info with a number? If you do provide the content of this alert.
Also which Acrobat version (including minor) are you using?

  • TDS certificate numbers according to Business Place for one key

    Dear all,
I am trying to generated TDS certificates through J1INCERT.  I am able to generated certificate numbers also. But I want to generate the certificate numbers according to my business place.
EX: I assigned number range as 200001 to 299999. I have business places as ABC1 and ABC2 for each plant wise.
If I generate first certificate for plant  ABC1 for 194C, it should generate the ceriticate with number 200001.
If  I generate first certificate for plant ABC2 for 194C, if should generate the certificate with number 200001.
Please tell me how to control this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Venkat

SAP has provided to generate number ranges basd on Busines places too... However this is not available to all countries though..
If you look at Cross application component, SAP has provied country specific options fo number ranges with reference to Business Place.  This functionality is available to some countries and you may use it for your countri too... For example, you may look at "Philiphines" country official receipt (it is a kind of tax receipt).
    Hope this will help you.

  • How can I resolved service certificate invalid on itune

Every time I try to open itune on my iPad it gives me a message service certificate invalid. Please help.

Here's the problem (from the referenced article):
Important:   You can convert iTunes Store purchases only if they’re iTunes Plus songs.
So to be clear, even if I BUY a release on iTunes, I am STILL not able to convert it to MP3 unless it is in some more costly iTunes Plus format?! The 2 releases I just bought aren't even available in this Plus format. This is absolutely absurd! This means I'm basically buying music to play in iTunes and other Apple products, but NONE of my other devices? In other words, it's not mine, even after I buy it.
iTunes just lost another customer. I've never heard of anything more ridiculous.

  • Email security certificate invalid

Everytime I open mail it says my website email has no security certificate and someone could be stealing data, I reported this to the website hosting service (Verio) and the support staff says it's a Mac problem.
    Ideas?
    Garrett

^^ That & also I'm (seemingly) not getting the certificate error. Perhaps you have like a virus issue? :(
    ps.
Serious (security) errors like this probably shouldn't be taken lightly; & also it's 99.9% '''not''' a Firefox issue, btw. :)

  • Loss of Phone and Data Connection

I have lost all phone and data connection with AT&T on my iPhone 3Gs. Yet my wife's non-Apple phone has fine connection.
    Is this a iOS4 problem?
AT&T said they reboot my phone remotely, but that did not help.
Any suggestions? Other than buy an Android.

I'm having the exact same problem. It just started happening over the last 3 days but it worked fine before that. I upgraded to ios4 the day it came out but didn't start experiencing these problems until 3 days ago. I'm in Canada on the Bell network.
If it turn the off and on again it will work for a little while but then I will lose service again sometimes a few minutes later and sometimes a few hours later.
I've tried shutting it down and starting it and rebooting it and nothing has fixed this.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks
    Dave

  • Android Phone - No Data Plan

    Hi there,
I'm looking foward to buy a new phone, preferably an android phone (had in mind the Google's Nexus S).  But heres the problem, I don't plan on paying $30 monthly for the data plan when all I want is for it to connect through wireless.
Is there a way that I can get my hands on an android phone without data plan and use wireles for T-Mobile?

Ok, I guess I misunderstood the OP's needs.. I thought he wanted to use it in Wifi only, which is what confused me.. Now that I udnerstand, I agree. He'll put the T-Mobile sim in, and in a few days they'll realize he has a smartphone and start charging data fees per their contract, correct?
As to your question about "Why have a phone without a phone"? I have a Samsung Epic 4G. Without the data service, I can still do a lot of great things with it. It's like a miniature netbook, but faster. Even if I didn't want a data plan, a lot of the phones coming out make nice alternatives for bigger, bulkier laptops. Not to mention how widespread Wifi is.. The only time I even need the data plan on my phone is when I'm driving, any other time I'm surrounded by Wifi. Heck, when I get a new phone, this Epic may make a nice gift for someone that can't afford a laptop.
