I am also planning to take XI certification exam during this TechED 2007.
I am confused because if you see the topic ares for C_TBIT44_70 and C_TBIT44_04
both look the same but the course materials described is quite different..!!! i,e

ABAP Certification @ SAP TechEd 2011 - Madrid

Hi All,
I would like to know if it is possible to do ABAP certification during SAP TechEd 2011 - Madrid (more specific SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP) and if yes how do you apply for that and what would the cost be ?

Hi,
You can opt for Associate or Professional level certifications based on the eligibility criteria.

Usually Associate level requires 3-5 years of experience in the area of certification(in your case ABAP)
Professional level requires more than 5 years
For Teched2010, we also have Associate level for ABAP certification.

I have 4 1/2 tears of Exp in SAP ABAP.
I dont have any associate level certification.
Can i attend the professional level Certification in Tech Ed 2009 Banguluru directly??
I searched in net and found list of certifications availble in tech ed 2009.

as far as i think, you should take certification right now, if you have heard that openings for certified consultant comes in September, then just consider that many people will take it that time, and you have to fight with more individuals who have got certification, and if you will take it this time then atleast
you will have 4- 5 months in your hand to search a job.
I hope you must understand my points clearly, if having any doughts please revert.

Certificate / Documents required for certification in TechEd

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what are the certificate / documents required to be shown for appearing for certification in TechEd.
I have got the experience certificate and the recommendation certificate from my current organization to be shown in TechEd certification.
I want to make a checklist so that in case there is any certificate of experience required from previous employers also then I have to ask them for it beforehand.
If anyone can help in this regard it would be helpful.

In order to qualify for the discount associated with the certifications at TechEd you must meet all of the qualifications in 'eligibility' section of the registration process found at http://www.sapteched.com/india/reg/certificationExams2.htm.
This includes currently working for an SAP Partner.

SD Certification via TechEd'08

A friend of mine has applied for SD Certification for Associate level via TechEd'08.
Surprisingly, he has received a confirmation from SAP Bangalore that "The requested certification is not in the offering at TechED'08". The course code is C_TSCM62_60
Anybody can confirm that via TechEd'08 one cannot appear for Associate Certification for SD ?? If one can appear, who else should he approach ??
I know that we can appear for direct certification but the question is why in TechEd'08, they dont conduct ??

Hi Kaushal,
Actually in Tech ed, usually they would be offering certifications only for technical expertise areas like ABAP, Business intelligence, Master data management and XI and modules which are on the technical expertise.
Hence your friend can appear for SD certification in the normal direct certification exams conducted by SAP at the Siemens centres or pro-metric centers.
Thatu2019s why even I had taken my certification in direct and not through Tech Ed!

Hung during Tech Tool Pro volume rebuild- what to do?

Working on my ex's messed up 2007 MacBook 2.2ghz OS 10.5.8.
Extreme heat problems, was hanging a lot, and Disk First Aid failed immediately with volume errors. With some diffculty, i got his critical files backed up to an external drive (he had no backup... i have no comment) and booted it with Tech Tool Pro 5 -retail DVD, not the applecare version- with OS 10.5.7 and it also immediately found trouble with the disk directory, tho the SMART parameters were all PASS except for internal temperature (which has been high enuf to warp the bottom of the case).
But when i clicked Run Volume Rebuild, it hung in Acquiring Directory Structures. TTP's Elapsed Time clock stopped at 07:18... an hour ago. Fan is running like crazy.
does this indicate what i think it might... a non-repairable hard drive?
meanwhile, how do i get out of the TTP volume repair hang, pref without further damage? (HD was at least mounting and files accessible)
clicking the "X" to stop it just makes it "tink" with no change.
Trying to quit TTP causes an endless "canceling running jobs" loop.
Should i just force shutdown and call it a day?
He will probably buy a new Macbook rather than replace the drive in this one, and it'd be nice if the apple store could migrate directly from this drive ... unless it's really easy to migrate across two generations, leopard to lion, from the Time Machine backup i got on an external drive after the internal drive was already having trouble...? (i've never restored or migrated from Time Machine).

The Protection module of the Safety suite saves directory structure information from each of my four drives to each of the four drives. The Diagnostics module checks the volume structures of each of the drives, and the Smart module runs the SMART routines to check each of the two compatible drives for any impending troubles.
When I asked whether I could be assured the new version wouldn't behave the same way, the reply I received was:
"There are very few reports of problems with the features configured in the TechTool Protection system preferences pane as of version 5.0.7. The previously-reported problems were difficult to reproduce, and solving them required a substantial rewrite of the code in earlier versions in the TechTool Pro 5.0.x series."
I'm not convinced that was a 'yes.'
Your iCal idea sounds interesting, but keep in mind that the Safety suite of modules are within the Tech Tool Pro application itself and, when automatically launched, run in the background without the main application itself launching. Meaning, that iCal might launch Tech Tool Pro at the correct time, but will it launch the modules within?

Reason for rejection during "Tech Response & Awards"

Hi,
SRM 7.0 PPS:
We have seen that, In 2 envelope RFx Response, when a bid is accepted/rejected duing the tech bid response and awards, the system sends a mail to him.
Here, if the bid was rejected, we want to include the "Reason for Rejection", in the mail content. But there is no place to capture the "reason for rejection here".
Any Idea how to achieve this (i.e. 1. How to capture this information, 2. how to modify the mail content after capturing).
